A Fan Of Pusha T Says He Lost His Prosthetic Leg At His Show: ‘Still Had Fun Tho’

Last night (September 29), Pusha T performed at The Pageant in St. Louis. During this stop of the rapper’s It’s Almost Dry tour, a fan may have gone a little too hard. Following the show, Twitter user @endeylive says he lost his prosthetic leg during the concert.

“i lost my prosthetic leg at your stl show,” he said. “still had fun tho.”

Push immediately responded, saying, “We gotta find that man…if you were at the STL show and know where my guy’s prosthetic leg is…pls hand it over.”

While we have not received an update on the prosthetic leg since the show last night, the Twitter user, who appears to be named Mitchell, is seemingly maintaining a sense of humor about the situation.

“How son get home with no leg,” asked one Twitter user.

“i hopped,” he replied.

Push is currently on the second leg of his It’s Almost Dry tour. Throughout his tour, Push said in an interview with Complex that one of the most rewarding parts of touring was seeing people get deep into each song, even the album cuts that weren’t released as singles.

“Watching the world react to “Brambleton” [from It’s Almost Dry has been surreal,” Push said. “It’s a very personal song, but people really honed in and really tuned in to that record. I know there’s not a Brambleton Avenue in every city all over the world, but they act like there is”

Pusha T Continues To Diss McDonald’s

Pusha T

The beef between Pusha T and Mickey Dees continues. The artist behind “It’s Almost Dry” and “Daytona” has recently released another track aimed at the fast food franchise months after initially dissing them back in March.  In his new track, “Rib Roast,” McDonald’s McRib is King Push’s latest victim, and he does not hold back.  […]

Pusha T Keeps The Fast Food Beef Between McDonald’s And Arby’s Going With ‘Rib Roast’

Pusha T is at it again. After penning the “Spicy Fish Diss” for Arby’s dissing McDonald’s’ Filet-O-Fish sandwich, the Virginia rapper once again takes aim at the fast food giant with “Rib Roast,” a Western-themed takedown of the Golden Arches’ beloved McRib. “McDonald’s, what you selling, mystery meat?” Push sneers. “Pop up and go away, what does history teach?” Somehow or another, he manages to make it through the whole thing without sneaking in a bar about cocaine… Growth?

For what it’s worth, Arby’s signing Pusha to be its official attack dog has proven to be pretty lucrative for Arby’s. According to an Apex Marketing estimate in March, the jingle/diss track was worth more than $8 million in advertising for Arby’s, whose previous tagline, “We have the meats,” has become pretty ubiquitous if not particularly enticing. It’s also proven a worthwhile endeavor for Pusha, who allegedly penned the “I’m Lovin’ It” jingle for McDonald’s for a flat fee and never got a royalty check. Considering he’s been after Lil Wayne for over a decade over who wore a hoodie first (and subsequently expanded that feud to include Wayne’s protege Drake), this whole fast food beef (heh) offers him the perfect excuse to exercise his petty and get paid for it.

Pusha-T Reveals That He’s Working On A “Very Special Project” Right Now

Even though we are still bumping Pusha-T’s latest Pharrell and Kanye produced album, It’s Almost Dry, it looks like Push is back at it and we might get another album from him very soon.

In a video from Spotify, released on the streaming service’s Twitter page, Pusha-T revealed that he’s working on music, and currently working on a “very special project” to him right now.

“I’m working on an extremely special project to me right now which I am not going to get into,” Pusha said in response to “what’s next?” “It’s just all about music and staying competitive and just showing that there is a space for what it is that I do in hip-hop…and that what I do in hip-hop is the most credible space and takes the most talent…and is just… the realest.”

Whatever the project it, and no matter who’s producing it, we’re excited already.

Push’s forthcoming project would serve as a follow up to May’s critically acclaimed It’s Almost Dry which was executive produced by Pharrell and Kanye and featured Jay-Z, Kid Cudi, Lil Uzi Vert, Don Tolliver, Malice, Labrinth, and of course, Pharrell and Kanye.

While Push works on his upcoming project, he is also gearing up for the second leg of the It’s Almost Dry tour, hitting cities in North America that he was not able to perform in on the tour’s first leg.

You would think with all of this, that he would be tired or would want to take a break from working on music. But in an interview with NME in May, Push shared how he could make music forever.

“A lot of our forefathers, the greats, they didn’t stand the test of time,” Pusha said. “As great as they were, I don’t know how much they are [still] appreciated. [I want] to show that rap doesn’t have to age out. When people look at me, they need to understand that I can do this forever.”

Pusha T Approves Of Ukraine’s Ministry Of Defense Tweeting His ‘Numbers On The Board’ Lyrics

The ubiquity of hip-hop only grows over time and tends to reveal itself in some unconventional ways. Ukraine’s Ministry Of Defense posted a tweet on Wednesday, September 7, alluding to Russia’s combat losses from February to September ever since Vladimir Putin invaded the country. The tweet included lyrics from none other than Pusha T, and the rapper expressed his approval hours later.

“‘I put numbers on the boards.’ @Pusha_T,” stated the official Ukraine Defense account alongside a graphic detailing the number of eliminated personnel, tanks, armored combat vehicles, and more military equipment owned by Russia. The lyrics come from the Virginia rapper’s popular 2013 record “Numbers On The Boards.”

King Push quoted the tweet over 10 hours later, simply writing, “Great taste in music for the win…” This should not come as much of a shock, as the It’s Almost Dry artist has been very vocal about politics in the past, whether it be assisting Hillary Clinton in her presidential campaign back in 2016, his admiration for former President Barack Obama, advocating for prison reform, or publicly disagreeing with his longtime collaborator Kanye West over his support of Donald Trump.

Check out Ukraine’s Ministry Of Defense’s tweet above as well as Pusha T’s response.
