Rot Ken Shows Off Prison Shiesty In New Photos

Rapper Rot Ken, currently serving 20 years in prison for burglary, dropped some new photos showing off prison life. The small collection of images shows Ken chilling in his cell with another inmate. Furthermore, several images show Ken improvising a shiesty out of a white shirt. Additionally, several full-body images appear to show that Ken has drawn a custom Nike swoosh on his prison sandals.

As mentioned, Ken is currently doing a 20-year sentence for armed burglary. He was originally arrested back in June on a double murder charge dating back to April. However, he was sentenced to the two-decade stint on armed burglary charges dating back to 2021. Furthermore, he is ineligible for parole until 2032. That is if the June murder charges don’t amount to any additional time behind bars. He is currently being held at the Georgia Diagnostic and Classification State Prison. While Ken is only facing incarceration, the GDCSP is also home to Georgia’s state execution chamber.

However, it’s not the first time that Ken has dropped some images from behind bars. Just a few days into his sentence, which began in early October, Ken released a handful of images showing him posting up with a group of inmates. “If You Think I’m Lien In My Raps Come Figure Me Out #FreeDaRest,” Ken wrote in the caption. Furthermore, the images showed Ken without his signature dreads. His newly shaved head was a detail that many fans fixated on when the images first dropped.

Fans have expressed their relief that Ken appears to be doing well behind bars. However, many called for his release and expressed concern that he wasn’t “leaving the street life” behind. Ken had been a rising star in the Atlanta scene, signed with Internet Money and slowly building his reputation. It remains to be seen if Ken, like many rappers before him, will continue to produce beats from jail.

R. Kelly Sues Prison Workers And Tasha K For Alleged Info Leaking Scheme

R. Kelly is heading back to court, though this time its civil court rather than criminal. That’s because according to TMZ he just filed a new lawsuit at what he alleges is a scheme used to leak his private information. Named in the suit is the U.S. Government, a handful of employees at a Chicago prison, and blogger Tasha K. The suit accuses the employees of taking documentation on what Kelly was doing through internal computers and communicating it to Tasha, who then published it on her blog.

R. Kelly has been making these claims since long before the lawsuit. But now he’s officially taken legal action at the entire scope of the scheme. Consequently, he’s calling out some of the videos Tasha posted for deliberately harming his reputation and causing him emotional distress. She’s already answered for the allegations before they were elevated to a legal level. Tasha denies any wrongdoing or being part of any scheme. Check out her addressing the allegations below.

R. Kelly Accuses Tasha K Of Scheming To Violate His Privacy

For Tasha K, being sued by a major artist is nothing new. Cardi B famously took the blogger to court for defamation and won. Since the verdict Tasha and her lawyers have been hunting for any way to avoid paying Cardi the full payout she’s owed. But the rapper’s lawyers have been quick to fight back and seem ready to drag out the legal drama for as long as it takes.

R. Kelly news has been pretty slow in recent months. The most recent legal development for the singer came back in August. Additionally he’s being ordered to pay $10.5 million to a group of victims after making threats to stop their screening of Surviving R. Kelly. What do you think of R. Kelly’s newest lawsuit accusing multiple parties conspiring to violate his privacy? Let us know in the comment section below.

Mia Jaye Speaks On Young Dolph’s Death

In other crime news, Mia Jaye recently spoke on the 2021 murder of her partner, Young Dolph. “If I were to guess, based on the history of things…rap sh-t, bro. A song, or two. Some ego sh-t. Let’s break that down even more. Ego sh-t. He not here because of ego. That’s a spirit. If anyone just wanna call a spade a spade, it’s a spirit. He isn’t here because of some ego sh-t and he possessed the ego. And at the end of the f-cking day, we killing people because of a bruised, a scarred, ego?”

Dolph was killed back in 2021 after being ambushed outside a bakery in Memphis. Four men are currently facing trial for his murder. However, the case has been slow-moving in many facets and fans are beginning to tire of not seeing justice done for Dolph’s family. Meanwhile, one of the men accused of killing Dolph, Hernandez Govan met with the new judge in his case, Judge Jennifer Mitchell. Judge Mitchell was assigned to the case after the original judge, Judge Lee Coffee was recused. Judge Coffee had been ruled to have disproportionally punished another defendant in the case for releasing a song while incarcerated.

Pooh Shiesty Reveals How Many Songs He Writes In Prison: “I Got 5-6 Albums”

Memphis rapper Pooh Shiesty was on the rise a couple of years ago. However, he has slowed down his own progress in the industry with his actions. Pooh is now serving his time for his mistakes and it could be quite a bit of time before we see him as a contributing citizen. Throughout his time behind bars, the hitmaker has provided his fans and social media followers with some periodic updates. He has done this by posting some pictures with what seems to be some friends the rapper has been making.

It is great to see that Pooh is making the most of his time and finding as many positives as possible. His most recent post was a major flex. #TheWaitIsOver #TheKingIsBack! #FreeTheBiggest.” Now, it appears he is making other things happen. He has tons of music in the vault.

Kai Cenat “Released” From Seven-Day Prison Stream: Watch

If you lived under a rock- well, if you don’t follow streaming these days, which can feel like the same thing- you might’ve missed that Kai Cenat spent seven days in prison recently. Not real jail, mind you, but rather a simulation of prison life with celebrity guests, challenges, and a whole lot of antics. Now, we’re getting footage of his “first day out” following his seven-day prison stream, where he kept the feed up around the clock and broadcasted the whole thing. While meeting with his friends, they bestowed icy chains upon the Twitch giant amid his excitement to be out. Overall, it seems like he made a lot of money off of this, something that even his online detractors have expressed respect for.

Whether or not the New York native had to go this far for clicks, views, and donations, though, is another debate. Upon his release, many folks opened up the floodgates of that debate once again. Some feel like Kai Cenat exploited a public interest in prison, glorifying it and making light of the circumstances that fuel the system while not dealing with its actual consequences. Others just liked to gawk at the content throughout, and though his hustle was well-earned.

Kai Cenat’s “First Day Out” After Seven-Day Jail Stream

Regardless of what you think of this seven-day prison stream, the 21-year-old definitely increased his profile with it. Even if it was mostly due to the debate that people engaged in over the righteousness of this, that engagement shows that people are tuning in. Kai Cenat might not be the most famous face under the sun, but who else can say that they had an entire audience locked in and active for seven full days in a row- and from a prison simulation, for that matter? If anything, criticism of this stream is more about its concept than it is about him as a creator or personality.

Kai Still Has That Energy After Prison

Meanwhile, what do you think about this? Are you celebrating the social media giant’s “first day out” or do you think he needs a couple more days in? Whatever the case, let us know in the comments section down below. Also, come back to HNHH for more news and the latest updates on Kai Cenat.

Tems Details “Scary” Ugandan Prison Stay

During a recent interview with Angie Martinez, Tems opened up about her stay at a Ugandan prison. The Nigerian hitmaker was arrested back in 2020 for putting on a performance despite COVID-19 social distancing regulations. According to her, she was under the impression that the organizer had obtained the permits necessary for the show to go on. She says that the arrest “was a setup.”

Tems recalled finishing up her show, and heading back to her hotel to have a meal with her manager. It was then that she heard a knock on her door, soon realizing that it was Ugandan authorities. Her manager went with them, and eventually, they circled back to pick her up. She was then taken to prison alongside another Nigerian artist, Omah Lay, where she spent two nights. “That was so scary,” she explained. “I spent two nights in prison. I thought I wasn’t gonna come out.”

Tems Thought She Wouldn’t Be Released

She went on, detailing the emotions she experienced while behind bars. “It made me stop caring about so many things,” she described. “All the women in there, they were there for nothing.” Tems says that during her stay, she felt moved to help the other women there, who were locked up for petty crimes. “You’re just on the floor, no bed,” she revealed. “I didn’t even know I was going to get out, I didn’t have any ears on the ground nobody told me anything. Outside people were like ‘free Tems, free Omah Lay’ but inside I was just hopeful, waiting. There’s no calls, you can’t make a phone call.”

Eventually, Tems’ team met with the president of Uganda, and she was later released. She claims that the prison stay changed her, giving her a new perspective after living under such poor conditions. “After that incident, things just started moving,” she says.
