Pretty Vee Gets Cooked Online For Racist New Video

Pretty Vee has had a pretty hectic few months in the public eye, catching heat for her Sonya Massey comments and other online antics. Moreover, the most recent of these is a new video she uploaded online that depicts her, for lack of a better description, making fun of Asian culture to the tune of Megan Thee Stallion and Yuki Chiba’s “Mamushi.” The comedian dances and salutes in a pretty mocking way, and while it’s clear that it’s just meant as a joke and not an attack, a lot of people didn’t find it very funny. We’ll see if she responds to this backlash in any significant way.

Elsewhere, Pretty Vee recently stepped into the online space to defend B. Simone after a brief and unintentional social media spat with Soulja Boy. “Don’t play with me @souljaboy. You better play with them ones like this but not @thebsimone. Again she said what she said, now WHAT. I rebuke you in the name of Jesus you living creature [several crying-laughing emojis].” We doubt that this scuffle will escalate beyond an isolated viral moment, but it’s Soulja… We wouldn’t put anything past him.

Pretty Vee Faces Heavy Backlash For Offensive Clip

Back to Pretty Vee, though, she also went viral recently for making fun of her ex Rick Ross’ Vancouver incident with Drake fans during her comedy show. For those who didn’t catch that story, Rozay played Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” diss track at a festival in the city, and allegedly refused to turn it off at folks’ request. Then, a group of OVO die-hards confronted Ross and his entourage, resulting in a fight that the rapper feels the aftermath of to this day. In fact, one of these guys actually released a diss track against him, despite the sad reality that he will probably never respond.

Regardless, it’s not as sad as the reality in which Pretty Vee took things too far with this video. Her beef with Rick Ross will probably keep being a background narrative in their careers. But it’s clear that they can stir up controversy for far less than that. Let’s just hope that the next cultural exchange on Vee’s behalf comes with more respect and explanation.

Pretty Vee Denies Disrespecting Sonya Massey After Soulja Boy’s B. Simone Rant

Earlier this week, Soulja Boy took to Instagram Live to clap back at B. Simone, who made some playfully shady comments about the rapper on her Let’s Try This Again podcast. He didn’t hold back at all, blasting Simone’s appearance, career, and more. This prompted a response from both Simone and Pretty Vee, who defended her.

“Don’t play with me @souljaboy. You better play with them ones like this but not @thebsimone. Again she said what she said, now WHAT 🤬,” she wrote in The Shade Room‘s comments section. “I rebuke you in the name of Jesus you living creature 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂.” While most don’t blame Pretty Vee for sticking up for her friend, some called her out for her choice of words. “I rebuke you in the name of Jesus” were the final words of Sonya Massey, a 36-year-old Black woman murdered by police this month.

Pretty Vee Says She Meant No Disrespect

Social media users accused Pretty Vee of disrespecting Massey in her response. According to her, however, this was the last thing she meant to do. She took to Instagram recently to address the backlash, claiming that those criticizing her choice of words are taking them out of context, and confirming that she never intended to offend anyone. This sparked another response from B. Simone, who thanked Pretty Vee for standing up for her. “Vee I love you thank you for having my back ❤ A true friend ….you have the purest heart and we know what you meant by it,” she wrote.

If it was apparent by now, Soulja Boy is someone that you have to tread lightly around. The slightest bit of ridicule sets this guy off and B. Simone is someone who learned that the hard way. Just yesterday, a clip from the multi-hyphenate’s podcast, Let’s Try This Again, was making the rounds online after shooting a stray toward the rapper. She was retelling a story from a magazine photoshoot and while she was working, she had a gospel music playlist. B. Simone was saying how no one at the site was ripping her for her taste.

“Nobody said ‘Why are we listening to this? Man, put on Soulja Boy.’ I don’t think anybody’s ever saying put on Soulja Boy… I don’t know why I said that”. Later on, the podcast host made sure to give the “Crank That” MC his props for being a “hip-hop legend” and a “trendsetter”. Like we mentioned, though, all of the buttering up didn’t keep Soulja from firing back. He went off on Simone, essentially calling her ugly, roasting her for her lack of recognition as a musician, and repeatedly pointed out how he had more hair than her.

Well, B. Simone, along with fellow comedian, Pretty Vee, had some words for Mr. Pretty Boy Swag. However, there was nearly not as much malicious intent, especially from Simone. “This is nuts 😂”, she began. “I literally say “‘We have to put some respect on Soulja Boy name. He is a trendsetter & an innovator in the culture. So I respect Soulja Boy’”. Pretty Vee Makes Fun Of Rick Ross’ Vancouver Fight With Drake Fans During Her Comedy Show

Pretty Vee recently offered her first-ever comedy show to the world, and it seemed like quite the creative and unique affair with specific skits and stand-up routines, play-like staging elements, and even a surprise musical performance from Shenseea. However, one of the most notable parts of the whole thing was when she decided to troll her ex Rick Ross and make fun of how he got into a fight with OVO Stans at a Canada music festival. Overall, it got some solid laughs out of the crowd here and there, and follows a pretty weird saga when it comes to the two. What’s more is that said saga might not be over just yet, but most signs point to a “yes” on that.

For those unaware, Pretty Vee seemingly confirmed that she and Rick Ross were dating back in December of 2022 following months, if not years, of rumors. “I think it’s the boss in him, I like guys who lead,” she characterized her attraction to him during a REVOLT TV talk show appearance. “So when you a leader, you can step to me. Ross is the type of person who you look at and you just admire … You’re inspired by.”

Pretty Vee Targets Rick Ross During Comedy Show

However, eventually they fell out, and Rick Ross went on to date Cristina Mackey about a year after his relationship with Pretty Vee first became confirmed public news. Still, Vee didn’t pay it any mind, instead choosing to seek out a relationship of her own and not hyper-fixate on her past. But Mackey had a different idea, it seems, because she said that her and Rozay’s relationship is deeper than what Vee’s was. It was a bit of a shocker, especially when the other side had done absolutely nothing to inspire her ire at all.

Nevertheless, eventually Cristina Mackey and Rick Ross broke up as well, and Pretty Vee seemed to throw shade on social media afterwards. That’s just speculative, though, so take that possible reaction with a grain of salt. Either way, Pretty Vee certainly has no qualms about publicly dragging the Maybach Music Group mogul through the mud now. We’ll see if he has some comedic jabs of his own.

When asked about how she feels about Vee and Ross’ past, she remarked: “It doesn’t make me feel any way at all. I think it’s funny. It’s levels to everything, right? That’s not the only question that Mackey’s bombarded with on the regular, however. During a recent appearance on The Cali Kickback podcast, she explained how she feels about fans frequently asking what happened to Rick Ross’ relationship with his ex, Pretty Vee. According to her, she just finds the inquiries “funny,” as she knows that their relationships can’t be compared.

Pretty Vee Seemingly Confirms She’s Dating Rick Ross

It seems as though there’s a new celebrity couple in Hollywood. Pretty Vee has confirmed her relationship with Rick Ross.

During her recent appearance on Revolt TV’s Black Girl Stuff talk show, the actress addressed the recent rumours. One of the show’s hosts, Akilah Ffriend, didn’t hesitate to bring up the social media star’s alleged tie-up with Rozay.

When asked about her attraction to the 46-year-old, she certainly didn’t hold back. “I think it’s the boss in him. I like guys who lead. So when you a leader, you can step to me,” she proclaimed.

Furthermore, she went on to explain that their relationship goes much deeper than the surface. “Ross is the type of person who you look at and you just admire … you’re inspired by,” the social media star elaborated.

Over the past couple of years, rumours were circulating about the alleged couple’s fling. The Rap Sh*t actress officially became a global ambassador for Luc Belaire in 2020. 

The “Hustlin’” rapper has been a major promoter of the French sparkling wine brand for nearly a decade. 

Additionally, the gossip was later re-energized in September 2021 when the couple had a viral moment together. This came after they shared promo for their collaborative Boss Talk conversation series.

Regardless, the pair was actively hesitant in confirming anything until now.
