Green was on Live, driving and listening to NBA YoungBoy when fans started pointing out the similarities to then-recent Ja Morant gun-flashing scandal. “Everybody’s commenting, ‘Don’t pull no pistol out. Still, when TMZ caught up with him on Thursday (January 18) in New York City, he did not confirm nor deny that there was any truth behind this speculation. Regardless, the Queens rapper had a pretty simple but important suggestion that he thinks is crucial for the singer’s successful parenting life. “You just gotta love ’em, man,” he told the cameras. “Tell ’em you love ’em every day. That goes far!”

The wave of speculation appears to have begun with a post from X user @LustSierra, who posted a photo of A$AP Rocky posing with a visibly pregnant Rihanna. This led other social media users to question whether Rihanna was pregnant with the couple’s third child.

However, it appears that the speculation is nothing more than a wild rumor. Community Notes users have reportedly identified the photo as being from June 2023, when Rocky and Rihanna attended the Louis Vuitton show at Paris Fashion Week. Given that @LustSierra is an X Premium user, there is the possibility that the original post is intentionally fake. X Premium users are compensated based on their engagement, thus incentivizing people to produce content that could go viral regardless of its veracity.

Furthermore, this contrasts DDG’s remarks when a fan asked him about the supposed child. “No,” he replied simply to the question of whether they’re expecting, and proceeded to elaborate on his front of frustration. “Bro, I don’t know why people is so invested in what I got going on or what we got going on,” the Michigan native continued. “Mind your business. It’s a bit of a stretch, but considering the quick move to cut the clip– and the fact that the video does cut right there– it’s a bit too suspicious while taking into account these rumors.

Of course, DDG and Halle Bailey haven’t really said much about these rumors other than vaguely clapping back at trolls who think they know everything. Also, Halle in particular recently thanked her “real supporters” amid this speculation, so it’s possible that she just doesn’t want to entertain people hyper-obsessed with this narrative.
