Beyonce And Kelly Rowland Endorse Kamala Harris During Texas Rally

Kamala Harris has always aligned herself with Beyonce. She used the pop star song “Freedom” when she conducted her first conference as a presidential nominee. She also garnered the support of Queen Bey’s mother, Tina Knowles. The Beyonce co-sign, however, has remained elusive. Until now. October 25 marked a monumental day for the Harris campaign, as Beyonce threw her full support behind the current Vice President. She reunited with fellow Destiny’s Child member Kelly Rowland and together they made a thrilling appearance at Harris’ campaign rally in Texas.

The campaign rally crowd went absolutely ballistic when Beyonce and Rowland entered through the side stage. The Destiny’s Child song “Independent Women” blasted over the speakers, and the two pop stars proudly engaged with the crowd. Beyonce and Rowland made a few brief statements, but the real cosign came in the form of a proper Queen Bey speech. Beyonce took the podium in her home state and gave a rousing speech in support of Kamala Harris. She described Harris as a woman who has been pushing for what the country really needs.

Beyonce Supports Kamala Harris As A Mother

Beyonce’s celebrity profile is unrivaled, but the singer made a point of prioritizing his role as a mother during her speech. “I’m not here as a celebrity, I’m not here as a politician,” she noted. “I’m here as a mother. A mother who cares deeply about the world my children and all of our children live in, a world where we have the freedom to control our bodies, a world where we’re not divided.” After establishing connection with the audience, she made sure to highlight their shared values. “Imagine our daughters growing up seeing what’s possible with no ceilings, no limitations,” Beyonce asserted. “We must vote, and we need you.”

Beyonce proceeded to turn her speech into an introduction for Harris. She introduced Harris as the “next President of the United States.” She did not, however, perform for the audience. Beyonce has made high profile appearances at rallies in the past, with the most notable being for Hillary Clinton in 2016. This is the second time that a high profile celebrity has introduced a politician at a recent Harris campaign rally. Eminem was on hand to endorse Harris during her Detroit rally, before turning around and introducing Barack Obama.

Tyler Perry Offers Endorsement Of Kamala Harris During Atlanta Rally

Tyler Perry has been an outspoken celebrity for most of his professional career. He has regularly courted criticism for his interviews and the statements he’s made about the African American community. Perry received widespread praise, however, for his recent appearance at the Kamala Harris campaign ally. The filmmaker actor took the stage and made it very clear that he’s backing Harris. He also made it clear that he feels Donald Trump is a threat to the nation.

Perry gave an impassioned speech in which he articulated the ways Harris is different from Trump. In his estimation, the latter prioritizes the American Dream for people who look like him, while Harris makes the American Dream a priority for every person. “In this Donald Trump America, there is no dream that looks like me,” he asserted. “We want a president who believes the American Dream is for everyone.” He then made it clear that Harris has his confidence in this regard. “That president is Kamala Harris.” Tyler Perry received uproarious applause for his comments.

Tyler Perry Criticized ‘Donald Trump’s America’

Tyler Perry’s comments are unsurprising given his previous comments about Donald Trump. The actor has been lamenting the political divide that’s taken place in the country since Trump was elected back in 2016. “I think the scariest thing that’s going on in this country… is this divide,” he told The Hill. “I feel this divide, this divisiveness that’s going straight down in the heart of America. It’s really bad. It’s tearing us all apart.” Perry admitted that he had some hope for Trump’s administration initially, but quickly felt the billionaire embodied all the negative elements that critics predicted.

Perry is not the only celebrity who has voiced their support for Kamala Harris in recent days. Eminem appeared at Harris’ rally in Detroit. He similarly claimed that Harris is protecting the liberties of the U.S. and that Trump is trying to destroy them. Leonardo DiCaprio followed suit on October 25. The Academy Award winner posted a video in which he lambasted Trump for denying the “facts.” DiCaprio also claimed that Harris will take the necessary steps to save the economy and the planet.

SEE IT: Charlamagne tha God Challenges Anderson Cooper on CNN: “It’s always a double standard with Trump”

Screen Shot 2024 10 25 at 11.46.45 AM

During a live interview on CNN, radio host Charlamagne tha God openly challenged CNN anchor Anderson Cooper, accusing the network of not warning viewers enough about what he described as Donald Trump’s “fascism.” The exchange unfolded as they discussed CNN’s coverage of the 2024 presidential race, featuring Republican candidate Donald Trump and Democratic candidate Vice President Kamala Harris.

Charlamagne, known for his unfiltered style on The Breakfast Club, argued that Trump’s on-air coverage should reflect what he called Trump’s “fascist” tendencies. “I don’t think y’all have enough conversations about it,” Charlamagne said, claiming CNN appears more focused on questioning Harris’s background. “I feel like I heard more on this network about, ‘Is Kamala Harris Black?’ than I do about Donald Trump being a fascist.”

Cooper responded, defending the network by saying, “We talk about this every night.” However, Charlamagne doubled down, asserting, “Oh, I’ve seen those roundtable discussions a lot.” This prompted Cooper to interject, “Well, honestly, that’s bulls—, I’m sorry. That is, look, I’m a huge fan of yours, but to say that we’re sitting around discussing, is Kamala Harris Black?”

Clarifying his point, Charlamagne explained that while Cooper might not personally engage in these discussions, the network as a whole often does. Cooper maintained, “I don’t think any anchor on this network has been going around saying, ‘Is she Black?’”

Charlamagne further voiced his concerns over the media’s treatment of Trump: “I think no network has honest conversations about Donald Trump. Nobody has had honest conversations about Donald Trump since 2016,” he argued. “It’s always a double standard with Trump… talk about him being a threat to democracy. We don’t treat him like one.”

In response, a clearly taken-aback Cooper remarked, “I don’t know what you’ve been watching,” emphasizing that he doesn’t believe Trump supporters tune in expecting validation.

Charlamagne Tha God Calls Out Anderson Cooper Over Coverage Of Kamala Harris & Donald Trump

Yesterday (October 24), Charlamagne Tha God sat down with Anderson Cooper on CNN to discuss the U.S. Presidential election live. Their conversation ended up taking a heated turn when Charlamagne called out networks like CNN for their coverage of Kamala Harris and Donald Trump. He questioned why they refuse to cover Trump as a “fascist,” and choose to focus more on other topics such as Harris’ race.

“It’s cr*zy because you still don’t have news networks having that conversation, like when somebody says, when somebody questions Kamala Harris’s Blackness or is she a DEI hire, you all will have roundtable discussions about that, asking that question. How come we’re not having a roundtable discussion asking is Donald Trump a fascist? Actually not even asking, he’s stating it,” Charlamagne wondered. “How come that is not the topic of discussion on networks like CNN every day?”

Cooper responded, claiming to “talk about this every night,” but Charlamagne persisted. “I don’t think y’all have enough conversations about it. I feel like I heard more on this network about is Kamala Harris Black than I do about Donald Trump being a fascist,” he explained. Cooper fired back, insisting that those conversations simply aren’t taking place. “Honestly, that’s bullsh*t,” he said. “I’m sorry. I’m a fan of yours, but to say that we‘re sitting around discussing is Kamala Harris Black…”

“I’ve seen that. I’ve seen roundtable discussions a lot. Now that’s bullsh*t, Anderson,” Charlamagne responded. Harris-Walz 2024 Campaign Brings Voter Activation to Atlanta’s ONE Music Fest

Battleground Voters React to Vice President Harris’ Optimistic Nomination Speech

Battleground Voters React to Vice President Harris’ Optimistic Nomination Speech

This weekend, the Harris for President Campaign partners with BET and the Black Music Action Coalition (BMAC) to launch a dynamic voter engagement effort at Atlanta’s ONE Music Fest. With the general election fast approaching, this activation aims to connect with attendees, offering resources to empower them to make a voting plan while experiencing top-tier performances. The event marks another bold initiative in the Harris campaign’s outreach to Black voters through popular cultural events.

The campaign’s presence at ONE Music Fest includes a branded activation space, a mainstage address by a campaign surrogate, and a range of voter engagement resources. The activation area will feature a photo booth where attendees can capture moments while scanning QR codes directly linking to voter planning tools. In addition, digital push notifications will prompt festival-goers to visit the booth and collect information on voting.

“Vice President Harris has been very clear, we are not taking a single voter for granted,” said DNC National Political Director Brencia Berry. “Which is why we have been consistent and creative in the ways in which we are strategically engaging with Black voters to underscore the stakes of this election for our community. One Music Fest is the perfect setting to make clear that none of us can afford to sit this election out.

“Vice President Harris has not only delivered on the issues we care about most, like job creation and closing the racial wealth gap — but she is also charting a new way forward that includes protecting our healthcare and hard fought for rights. Donald Trump on the other hand couldn’t care less about our community or our culture. “

This engagement builds on the campaign’s presence at other high-profile events, from Essence Fest to the BET Hip-Hop Awards. Such initiatives aim to spark meaningful connections with Black voters nationwide. By combining voter resources with culturally resonant settings, the Harris campaign is making its message clear: voting this election cycle is essential.

As part of its outreach, the campaign has also enlisted influential voices like Quavo, Kerry Washington, and John Legend to support voter awareness. At ONE Music Fest, the campaign will continue to build momentum through artist collaborations, a media tent setup, and ads broadcast across festival stages.

WATCH: Kamala Harris, Barack Obama, and Bruce Springsteen Kick Off “When We Vote, We Win” Concert Series in Atlanta

unnamed (3)

In a spirited push to drive voter turnout across battleground states, Vice President Kamala Harris, former President Barack Obama, and Bruce Springsteen launched the “When We Vote, We Win” concert series tonight in Atlanta, Georgia. With early voting already underway, the rally highlighted what Harris framed as high-stakes decisions facing American voters in the upcoming election.

During her speech, Harris addressed the contrasting visions for the future, drawing attention to former President Trump’s pursuit of power. “So much is on the line in this election,” Harris said, emphasizing Trump’s focus on personal ambition over public service. She warned of the potential consequences if Trump were to regain the Oval Office, asserting that he would claim “unchecked and extreme power” if re-elected. Harris described a choice for Americans between Trump “writing up an enemies list” and her being “hard at work” on a “to-do list” for the nation’s needs.

Harris also criticized Trump’s role in implementing restrictive abortion laws, citing the tragic story of Amber Nicole Thurman and pledging to restore reproductive rights if elected. She emphasized the importance of John Lewis’ teaching on democracy: “Democracy is not a state; it is an act.” With that, she encouraged attendees to cast their ballots, stating, “Your vote is your voice and your voice is power.”

The Atlanta rally is part of a larger Harris-Walz campaign effort focused on mobilizing key voters across the country. This week, Harris has traveled to Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin, with plans to campaign in Texas and Michigan with Michelle Obama.

‘Survivors for Kamala’ Pen Open Letter in Full Page Ad to ‘Remind Americans Trump is a Sexual Abuser’

Screen Shot 2024 10 24 at 5.28.53 PM

Donald Trump’s history of sexual misconduct is once again being spotlighted, this time through a full-page ad in The New York Times organized by the “Survivors for Kamala” coalition. This group, composed of over 200 survivors of sexual and gender-based violence, along with their allies—including celebrities, advocates, and seven of Trump’s accusers—came together to endorse Vice President Kamala Harris while reminding the public of Trump’s legal history as an abuser.

The ad, according to a press release, emphasizes that Donald Trump, the Republican presidential nominee, is a “legally recognized abuser.” Among the notable signatories of the letter accompanying the ad are survivors and prominent figures such as Natasha Stoynoff, Samantha Holvey, Anita Hill, Hadley Duvall, Alva Johnson, Tarana Burke, Padma Lakshmi, Viola Davis, and Busy Philipps. Organizations backing the letter include the National Women’s Law Center Action Fund, Survivors in Action, Survivors 4 Harris, Care in Action, and Survivor Justice Action.

Here’s the ad:

Tarana Burke, activist and founder of the Me Too movement, was one of several speakers who raised their voices during an October 21 Zoom call to support the effort. Burke also took to Instagram to amplify the message of the ad and the coalition’s mission. She wrote,
“Today, survivors of sexual and gender-based violence from across the country came together to make it clear that a Trump presidency is dangerous and specifically further endangers the lives of so many of us who have already endured enormous traumas.”

Burke continued, “With just about two weeks away from the election, we wanted to be clear what’s at stake for those of us living with the reality of sexual and gender-based violence day in and day out.”

Former New York state Sen. Alessandra Biaggi, another signatory, expressed her pride in supporting the letter in a tweet, encouraging others to explore the website and learn more about the cause.

The ad is a bipartisan effort, uniting progressives, liberals, and Republicans in a common goal to hold Trump accountable for his history of sexual violence. It serves as a public condemnation of his actions and policies, which, the letter argues, normalize sexual violence.
“A second Trump term would pose multiple dangers to our democracy—not least of which is the dangerous daily message it would send, through his presence and his policies, that sexual violence or abuse of any kind is normal, unavoidable, and something the American people should accept,” the letter states.

At least 26 women have publicly accused Trump of various crimes, ranging from assault to rape. In 2023, a New York jury found him liable for sexually abusing advice columnist E. Jean Carroll in 1996.

Kamala Harris CNN Town Hall Draws Millions of Viewers

Screen Shot 2024 10 24 at 2.58.21 PM

Kamala Harris’ recent CNN town hall racked up strong ratings just ahead of the 2024 election, attracting 3.33 million viewers according to Nielsen live-plus-same-day data.

In the anticipated town hall, Harris sat down with Anderson Cooper to discuss critical election issues. The event, which aired at 9 p.m. ET and lasted approximately 71 minutes, also drew 744,000 viewers in the key cable demographic of adults aged 25-54.

The CNN town hall became the most-watched cable program of the night in total viewership and ranked second in the key demo, surpassed only by the NBA on ESPN.

Get this, Harris’ appearance on CNN slightly outperformed Donald Trump’s women’s issues town hall from the previous week, which pulled in 3.1 million viewers on Fox News, though Trump’s event aired earlier in the day at 11 a.m. ET. Moreover, the CNN town hall tripled the 1.04 million viewers who watched Harris’ Univision town hall earlier this month.

However, Harris’ town hall on CNN was nearly doubled in viewership by her Fox News interview on Special Report With Bret Baier, which drew in 7.8 million viewers just over a week ago. But that makes perfect sense. She went on Fox News, duh.

Anyway, the CNN event propelled the network to become the most-watched cable news channel during the time slot, surpassing both Fox News, which had 3.23 million total viewers and 423,000 in the demo, and MSNBC, which attracted 1.33 million total viewers and 155,000 in the demo.

Check this out, in terms of the key 25-54 demographic, Harris’ town hall on CNN surpassed any other candidate town hall in 2024. It topped the numbers for Trump’s Fox News town halls, which had 576,000 demo viewers in January, 358,000 in February, and 440,000 in early October.

As the event streamed live on Max and CNN.com, CNN’s digital platform recorded nearly half a million live starts throughout the day on Wednesday.

John Legend Slams Trump as Racist Over Immigrant Rhetoric

Screen Shot 2024 10 24 at 2.45.47 PM

Apparently, John Legend thinks Trump is a racist. What else is new? The “Ordinary People” crooner recently condemned Republican Presidential candidate Donald Trump’s “racist” remarks about immigrants during an interview on Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay podcast. Legend’s comments were in response to statements Trump made during an ABC presidential debate.

If you recall, during that debate, Trump repeated unfounded claims, alleging that Haitian immigrants in Springfield, Ohio, were consuming domesticated animals, seemingly in an attempt to malign immigrants—an ongoing strategy in his campaign.

Legend, is actually a native of Springfield, strongly criticized Trump’s stance on immigration, calling it a cover for deeper racial biases in his presidential rhetoric. Speaking to Sharpe, Legend said, “When he talks about immigration, he’s talking about Black and brown people coming from the global South, and he says they are f**king up our gene pool.”

The Grammy winner went on to quote Trump, adding, “They are poisoning the blood of America. So what he’s saying is, the ideal version of America is a white America, and anytime brown people infiltrate America, they’re messing up the blood of America.”

But wait, Legend didn’t stop there. He connected Trump’s views to disturbing ideologies from history, explaining that Trump’s rhetoric about immigrants “messing up the gene pool” harkens back to dangerous beliefs about racial purity. “That takes us back to Hitler,” Legend continued. “That takes us back to Eugenics. That takes us back to folks who believe there’s a genetic hierarchy that’s racially determined. And I just can’t imagine—it couldn’t be me—a Black man voting for somebody who believes so deeply that Black men are inferior to him because we’re Black.”

As you may know, throughout his career, Legend has been outspoken on social and political issues, endorsing figures like Barack Obama and Joe Biden in past elections. This time, he has voiced his support for Vice President Kamala Harris, Trump’s leading opponent in the upcoming race.

Beyoncé, Tina Knowles and Willie Nelson Scheduled for Harris Rally on Friday

Vice President Kamala Harris is coming off a big rally day in Atlanta, which featured Tyler Perry and Bruce Springsteen. Friday she will stand next to Beyoncé, Tina Knowles, and Willie Nelson.

According to Variety, the trio will take the stage with Harris in Houston. The Washington Post co-signed the appearance, citing “people familiar with the planning who spoke anonymously to preview a performance that hasn’t been publicly announced.”

Earlier this week, Eminem attended a rally in Detroit with former President Barack Obama and vice presidential candidate Tim Walz.

Queen Bey’s “Freedom” became the campaign theme song when Vice President Harris took over the Democratic ticket in the summer. Shortly after, Kamala Harris released her first official presidential campaign video set to the song.

“In this election, we each face a question,” Harris says in the clip. “What type of country do we want to live in?”

Later, she says, “We choose freedom,” allowing Beyoncé’s voice to ring off.

Vice President Kamala Harris made a memorable entrance during her first official visit to her campaign headquarters before the commercial aired. She walked out to the powerful anthem. A source close to Harris revealed to CNN that her team received approval from Beyoncé’s representatives to use the song throughout her presidential campaign.

Beyoncé, known for her strict clearance guidelines around her music, swiftly granted permission to Harris’ campaign on Monday, just hours before the Vice President made her entrance. While Beyoncé has not officially endorsed Harris following President Joe Biden’s announcement that he would not seek a second term, her quick approval for the use of “Freedom” suggests the superstar’s support for Harris.

This significant gesture underscores the cultural and political weight behind Harris’ campaign, highlighting a potential alignment with Beyoncé’s advocacy for social justice and empowerment.

Additionally was a ringing message of support from Tina Knowles on Instagram.

New, Youthful, Sharp , , energy !!!! You asked for it and our President Biden did what was best for the country ! Putting personal Ego , power and fame aside . That is the definition of a great leader, . Thank you, President Biden for your service and your leadership . Go Vice President Kamala Harris for President. Let’s Go ❤❤❤❤ #kamala2024
