Barbz Give Monica Her Flowers For “Pink Friday 2” Opening Night

The Barbz have shown out for Monica, who is serving as Nicki Minaj’s supporting act on the Pink Friday 2 tour. Minaj’s fanbase had nothing but love for the veteran singer, who performed in an unorthodox midshow break, as opposed to being a true “opener” for Minaj. Fans not only praised Monica, but warned fans unfamiliar with her work to be nice or else during the tour’s run. It’s unclear if Minaj has plans for any surprise guests on the tour.

The Pink Friday 2 tour opened in Oakland to rave reviews from fans. The tour will throughout the next few months, ending with Minaj headlining Wireless Fest in London. “Instead of doing another arena show in London after we sold out in the first week, I opted to do Wireless Festival. This year’s show will be a billion times more special, creative, beautiful, cohesive, ugh! I’m so excited. I’d like to tell you guys thank you in advance. Last year was so meaningful but won’t compare. Just wait & see,” Minaj said of the tour-ending festival set.

Nicki Minaj Fans Chant “F*ck Latto” At Opening Show Of Pink Friday 2 Tour

Meanwhile, The Barbz were out for blood at the tour’s opening show, with members of the audience heard chanting “F-ck Latto” at several points. The animosity towards Latto likely stems from her beef with Ice Spice, who is considered a Minaj “ally” after several collabs between the two. Furthermore, Latto is considered a Cardi B “ally” after the pair collaborated on “Put It On Da Floor Again” last year.

Latto and Spice have been trading blows for the last few weeks. Spice released the diss track “Think You The Sh-t (Fart)” before going after Latto for using her music video footage in a TikTok. Meanwhile, Latto hit back with “Sunday Service” and also referred to Spice as a “little girl” in a clapback post on social media.

Nicki Minaj Kicks Off “Pink Friday 2” Tour In Oakland: See The Barbz’ Reactions

Nicki Minaj officially kicked off her Pink Friday 2 tour on Friday (March 1) in Oakland, California, and fans couldn’t be happier with the results. Moreover, the Barbz took to social media to share not just their hype for the trek, but in the case of those who attended, some high praise. For example, many folks remarked on the extensive and versatile setlist, whereas others lauded the production design, outfit changes, Monica’s mid-show slot, and much more. Most importantly, though, die-hards are very happy to see the Trinidadian MC’s excited and engaged energy during this first show, and hope it continues for the rest of the journey.

Furthermore, it was mostly a very wholesome affair, but the Barbz let some of their online crusading into the building, too. For example, fans started a “F**k Latto” chant during this Oakland tour-opening show, alluding to Latto and Nicki Minaj’s beef in the past. It’s disheartening to see this feud bleed into live spaces, especially because it opens the floodgates for more combative scenarios moving forward. But die-hards were happy to chant along, and hopefully these femcees flaunt their artistry more competitively as a result.

Barbz React To The Pink Friday 2 Tour’s Opening Night

As the first female rapper to hit a billion streams in 2024, Nicki Minaj has a lot to celebrate, and a lot of material to showcase. From what setlist.fm indicates, this first show was obviously very dominant with Pink Friday 2, but contained plenty of beloved classics and gems across her catalog. Although the 41-year-old has a lot of new endeavors and releases to promote and hone, we’re sure that this must be a cathartic moment for Barbz everywhere who’ve been waiting to see her for so long. With that in mind, you can see it for yourself and check out more fan reactions down below.

Meanwhile, this unfortunately coincided with a new lawsuit against her and her husband Kenneth Petty for alleged backstage assault. This certainly paints the Pink Friday 2 tour in a different light, yet it’s important to note that isolated (and especially alleged) incidents are not reflective of any wider patterns. Still, it’s not the first accusation thrown their way, so we’ll see what comes of it. On that note, come back to HNHH for the latest news and updates on Nicki Minaj.

Nicki Minaj Hypes Wireless Fest Set, Explains Why She Chose It Over Another Pink Friday Tour Stop In London

Meanwhile, Minaj recently spoke on why she chose to headline Wireless Fest instead of adding another tour stop in London. Just wait & see,” Minaj wrote on Instagram. Minaj has been a regular feature at Wireless for over a decade.

Wireless Fest takes place in London’s historic Finsbury Park this July. Other headliners include Future, 21 Savage, and Doja Cat. Minaj is currently set to play at the O2 Arena in London on May 28. Barring any surprise additions or rescheduled shows, Wireless Fest will serve as the final tour stop for Minaj. Are you attending the Pink Friday 2 tour? Are you excited? Nicki Minaj Tops Charts Following Cardi B’s “Like What (Freestyle)” Release

The first performance of Nicki Minaj’s eagerly-anticipated world tour in support of Pink Friday 2 is only hours away, and as expected, the Barbz are out in full force showing her love online. The femcee will kick things off with a show in Oakland tonight (March 1), before moving on to cities like Denver, Vegas, Phoenix, LA, and more. In total, Nicki is expected to make more than 50 stops across the U.S., Canada, and Europe before closing out the tour in July.

Of course, fans have gone all out to support Nicki as she embarks on the tour, even getting one of her tracks to top the charts. “Pink Friday Girls” is now No. 1 on iTunes, months after its release. It’s now Nicki’s 44th song to reach No. 1 on iTunes, beating her own record and cementing her place as the rapper with the most No. 1 songs in iTunes history.

Nicki Minaj Secures 44th No. 1 Song On iTunes

Conveniently enough, the track also reached No. 1 just in time for the release of one of her biggest rival’s new releases, Cardi B’s “Like What (Freestyle).” Cardi unveiled the song earlier today alongside a fun accompanying video directed by Offset. This isn’t the first time the two rap divas’ fanbases have weaponized their respective fave’s music, however. When Nicki first released Pink Friday 2 back in December, Cardi B’s 2018 debut Invasion of Privacy began climbing the charts, coming in just below Nicki’s project.

It’s unclear whether or not this was intentional on the Barbz’s part, or just a simple coincidence amid the start of Nicki’s tour. What do you think of Nicki Minaj’s track “Pink Friday Girls” reaching No. 1 on iTunes? Are you looking forward to her world tour in support of Pink Friday 2? Natalie Nunn Shouts Out Nicki Minaj’s “Pink Friday 2” Tour At Night Club

All the Barbz are excited for Nicki Minaj’s Pink Friday 2 world tour, especially those with a platform of their own to tie into it. Moreover, Natalie Nunn recently shouted her out during a recent club appearance, presumably on Saturday night (February 24). “She’s kicking it off in my hometown, Oakland, California,” the Baddies star remarked amid friends, bottles, and booming speakers. “And not one of these b***hes is gonna chin-check me!” A lot of fans are similarly looking forward to the Trinidadian MC touching down in their home cities. After all, it’s been far too long without a consistent set of shows from her.

Furthermore, if you don’t understand that “chin-check” reference, that’s because Nicki Minaj is just as much of a fan of Natalie Nunn as the other way around. She shouted her out on her Lil Uzi Vert collab on their album Pink Tape, “Endless Fashion,” with the bar: “Even if my name was Natalie Nunn, you b***hes still wouldn’t chin-check me.” The Oakland native’s been running with this track ever since it dropped, and we can’t say we wouldn’t do the same with a high-profile salute like this.

Natalie Nunn Hypes Up Nicki Minaj’s Pink Friday 2 World Tour: Watch

In other Pink Friday 2 world tour news, Nicki Minaj recently explained why she chose to headline Wireless Fest rather than add another stop in London. “Instead of doing another arena show in London after we sold out in the first week, I opted to do Wireless Festival,” she shared on Instagram. “This year’s show will be a billion times more special, creative, beautiful, cohesive, ugh! I’m so excited. I’d like to tell you guys thank you in advance. Last year was so meaningful but won’t compare. Just wait & see.”

Meanwhile, there are also rumors that Katt Williams will join the tour, although folks are pretty skeptical. We can’t deny it would be an odd but potentially creative and well-rounded experience. Anne Hathaway Seen Getting Low To Nicki Minaj’s “Anaconda” And The Barbz Are Loving It

Meanwhile, A video of Anne Hathaway dancing to “Anaconda” has gone viral amongst Minaj’s fans. The video, taken from an Instagram story, shows Hathaway getting low to the iconic part of Minaj’s catalog before bashfully waving off praise from the gathered crowd. However, the Barbz in particular have gone absolutely wild for the video. Some praised Hathaway for her taste, others for her dance moves. Meanwhile, a number of other fans have pointed to it as evidence of Minaj’s legacy.

Of course, it’s been a rough couple weeks for Minaj. After being shaded on Megan Thee Stallion‘s “HISS”, Minaj hit back with a diss track of her own, “Big Foot“. However, the general consensus was that she had lost the beef. Not only were people now questioning her many dubious links to sex offenders, but “Big Foot” flopped in comparison to “HISS”. Furthermore, “Big Foot” even debuted below Ben Shapiro’s terrible rap debut on the Billboard Hot 100.

Jess Hilarious Thinks Nicki Minaj Invited Katt Williams On Tour For Low Ticket Sales

Jess Hilarious recently elicited the wrath of the Barbz once again by making some strong assumptions about Nicki Minaj’s upcoming Pink Friday 2 world tour. Moreover, she took to her Instagram page for her most recent installment of her Jess With The Mess: Uncut series for this take. Jess “Delirious,” as angry Nicki stans are calling her, suggested that the Trinidadian MC only invited Katt Williams on her tour due to low ticket sales. Folks may remember that she offered the comedian and viral Club Shay Shay guest a “big bag” to join her, Monica, and their teams on the trek.

“When the f**k did Nicki Minaj and Katt Williams even have a f***ing relationship?” Jess Hilarious asked her followers on the social media platform “To put him on your tour? Usually, people do things like this when the tour is not selling. Maybe it isn’t. Now, that’s very expected these days because of the economy. People put s**t on layaway to buy RENAISSANCE tickets. The economy is in such a s**t place right now. It’s totally expected to not sell out your f***ing tour.

Jess Hilarious Theorizes That Nicki Minaj’s Ticket Sales Are Below Expectations

“No icon, no matter how big or small, is exempt from promotion,” Jess Hilarious continued. “You promoted that album, you did interviews, you popped out. You promoted ‘HISS.’ I think [you] should add a JT, a Bia. B***h, you can bring Kai Cenat.” Of course, a lot of frustrated and indignant comments from Barbz followed, and a lot more speculation on what this Katt Williams guest spot would look like. But maybe things aren’t as financially dire as Jess thinks. After all, Nicki Minaj recently celebrated this as her highest-selling tour yet, so it looks like this could be a win-win scenario.

Meanwhile, there’s also been some notable recent news about other potential crossovers the comedian could’ve had in the music world. This includes working with Solange on her album A Seat At The Table and some other curiosities. Let us know what you think about this potential joint tour down in the comments section below. As always, check back in with HNHH for the latest news and updates on Jess Hilarious, Nicki MInaj, and Katt Williams.

Kenneth Petty’s Sex Offender Status Put On Blast In Fake “Pink Friday 2” Tour Message From Live Nation

After a chaotic few weeks in the world of female rap, Nicki Minaj has finally stopped lashing out at Megan Thee Stallion. The Houston native’s “HISS” track left the Queen of Rap in her feelings, specifically over a bar about Megan’s Law that seemed to be a direct shot at her husband, Kenneth Petty. For the most part, the Hotties and the Barbz have reduced the number of shots being thrown at one another, though the latter came rushing to Minaj’s defense, insisting legal action be taken after a fake Live Nation announcement surfaced online earlier this week.

“Disclaimer: Please be advised that in accordance with California state regulations, we are obligated to disclose the presence of a level three sex offender backstage,” the screenshot states. “Mr. Kenneth Petty will be present. Attendees under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or older. Identification will be verified prior to entry through the metal detectors. We kindly request that attendees refrain from engaging with the aforementioned individual.”

The doctored notice also says that “Individuals under the age of 18 will be mandated to wear a distinctive pink neon vest labelled “CHILD UNDER 18″ and will be directed to a designated pit area reserved exclusively for minors. Security personnel will be stationed in close proximity to ensure their safety and well-being throughout the event.” So far, Minaj doesn’t seem to be responding to the petty antics, but if they continue, we can almost guarantee she won’t keep quiet.

Haters are making it hard for Nicki Minaj to focus solely on putting the final touches on her Pink Friday 2 Gag City Tour ahead of its March 1st debut. Still, the femcee is doing what she can to stay in high spirits, including switching up her look from her signature jet-black hair to a brighter, strawberry blonde style. Check out photos of that at the link below, and tap back in with HNHH later for more music/pop culture news.

Nicki Minaj Celebrates Her Highest Selling Tour Yet

Last year, Nicki Minaj unleashed her first new album since 2018. Pink Friday 2 came off the strength of singles like “Super Freaky Girl” and “Red Ruby Da Sleeze.” The album immediately shot to the top of the Billboard 200 in its first week and debuted numerous songs on the Hot 100. Two fan favorite cuts from the record “Everybody” with Lil Uzi Vert and “FTCU” are still lingering on the US singles chart. That success seems to be translating directly into ticket sales for her upcoming world tour on the back of the album.

Earlier this year Nicki announced the Pink Friday 2 tour. The response was positive enough that she’s had to add new shows to the already massive tour multiple times. Now after just a few days of pre-sale the tour has already become her biggest selling outing yet. There are already 25 shows on the tour that have sold out with particular locations getting extra shows added. Nicki shared the good news to her story to thank her fans for showing out. “This happened within days of presale. Now we are 10 days away. So grateful,” her caption reads. Check out her post celebrating her tickets sales below.

Nicki Minaj Selling Out Tour Shows With Pre Sale Alone

Nicki Minaj hasn’t officially confirmed who will be appearing alongside her on tour yet. Earlier this week she gave a shoutout to Chris Brown, which was unsurprisingly met with some controversy. But fans who were more comfortable with the endorsement were hoping to see Brown join her on parts of her world tour.

Earlier this month, Nicki shared a clip previewing some of the choreography from her upcoming tour. The clip left fans expecting an elaborate series of stadium shows with quite a bit of spectacle included. What do you think of Nicki Minaj selling out more than two dozen tour dates on presale alone? Do you plan on seeing her on the Pink Friday 2 tour? Let us know in the comment section below.

Nicki Minaj Wants An Unconventional Opener For Her ‘Pink Friday 2’ Tour: Comedian Katt Williams

Nicki Minaj is just weeks away from beginning her <Pink Friday 2 tour and while she had yet to announce openers as recently as last month, during a holiday live stream with fans this past weekend, Nicki proposed a fascinating opener: comedian Katt Williams.

On Instagram, Nicki made her case for having Williams on her tour. Noting that Katt’s “the busiest man in show business” (questionable), she asked her fans, “Can y’all hit up Katt Williams and ask him what would be his price … to be a part of the Pink Friday 2 Gag City Tour?”

While bringing a standup comic on a rap tour might seem unconventional, some parallels could make it a good idea. Like Nicki, Williams has experienced something of a resurgence due to a wave of attention from some controversial comments that have generated conflict with him among his peers. And he’s long been a hip-hop favorite, often having rappers as openers on his own tours and frequently using his connections with rappers as material for his standup.

It seems unlikely that Nicki will be able to secure Williams for her tour, as he is currently on his own tour which has dates across the US running concurrently with her own. Unfortunately for her, it doesn’t look like Katt will be moving to Ga City for the foreseeable future.
