When Will Nicki Minaj Announce The ‘Pink Friday 2 Tour?’

Nicki Minaj has been teasing fans this week with her upcoming tour for Pink Friday 2, and now, she finally announced the cities for it. While the exact dates have yet to be unveiled, Minaj posted a link where fans could RSVP to be alerted when the tickets will drop for her shows.

Right now, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Miami, New York, Oklahoma City, and Washington, DC are listed as just a few of the cities that Minaj will be visiting during her Pink Friday 2 tour next year. However, fans in cities not listed can also request for theirs to be considered for an added show.

Shortly after she dropped the signup link on social media today, Minaj had to tell the fans that they would still be able to get in, despite the site facing a clear rush of traffic.

“Barbz, there’s no need to panic,” Minaj wrote. “There were lots of ppl waiting on the site. About 30K ppl. Once they sign up, they’ll come off & you’ll be able to. Pls breathe. Also, obviously these aren’t the only countries I’m going to. Just sign up. I’m holding the line open for you.”

As Minaj was recently announced as a headliner for Rolling Loud California next year, which will count as a tour stop, the rest of the dates should be close behind.

After pushing her album Pink Friday 2 back a couple of times, it looks like Nicki Minaj has all her ducks in a row and is ready to finally begin the rollout in earnest. Today, she kept things moving along with the announcement of her Pink Friday 2 Tour, sharing a link on social media for fans to RSVP to be informed when the tickets drop for their respective dates.

However, it doesn’t look like Nicki has quite announced those dates yet, so we still don’t exactly know when the shows will be. Knowing the Barbz, though, they’ll drop everything to make sure they can attend once they do find out, so that probably won’t be much of an obstacle for Ms. Minaj. Among the cities listed are Los Angeles, Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Miami, New York (of course), Oklahoma City, Washington, DC, and more, along with a link to request a city (presumably, with enough requests, Nicki and her team will add dates later).

Of course, given the exuberance of her fans, Nicki herself had to address some concerns on Twitter and explain how it all works. “Barbz, there’s no need to panic,” she wrote. “There were lots of ppl waiting on the site. About 30K ppl. Once they sign up, they’ll come off & you’ll be able to. Pls breathe. Also, obviously these aren’t the only countries I’m going to. Just sign up. I’m holding the line open for you.”

She deigned to shoot down a hater who suggested that the RSVP site was a cover for some last-minute market research. “They’re trying to see if there’s any demand so they know to book theatres or arenas so that she doesn’t have dates that don’t sell out,” the account speculated. “Imagine waking up, realizing God gave you life & air to breathe & tweeting this,” Nicki clapped back. “Ppl who don’t like Nicki Minaj follow everything she does… DUMB HOE THIS IS AN ARENA TOUR. I HAVE THE ROUTING. THIS IS SIMPLY TO ADD MORE CITIES. AND why would I announce the routing now & not give other cities a chance to be added?” That account later deleted their tweet after Nicki encouraged her fans to mass report it (that whole “don’t attack people” lasted what? Two weeks?).

How To Buy Tickets For Nicki Minaj’s ‘Pink Friday 2’ 2024 World Tour

Minaj shared the link on social media today (here’s the link), and while tickets aren’t for sale just yet, fans can RSVP with their phone number or email to be notified with more information when it becomes available.

The actual tour dates have not been shared yet, but the RSVP site reveals the tour is set to hit the North American cities of Austin, Boston, Brooklyn, Charlotte, Chicago, Columbus, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, Hartford, Houston, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Montreal, Nashville, Newark, New Orleans, New York, Oakland, Oklahoma City, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Portland, Raleigh, Salt Lake City, Seattle, Toronto, Vancouver, and Washington DC. Internationally, the tour will go to the Netherlands, Germany, the United Kingdom, Germany, and France.

Meanwhile, Minaj recently spoke about her plastic surgery regrets, saying, “I guarantee you, if you change anything on your body and do anything surgical and all this, you’re going to — more than likely, not definitely, more than likely — look back one day and say, ‘I was fine just the way I was.’ And that’s what happened to me.”

Will Nicki Minaj’s Tour In 2024 Have Openers?

Just a few days after Nicki Minaj was announced as one of the headliners for Rolling Loud California’s 2024 festival, it seems she has some other surprises tied to her upcoming Pink Friday 2 album.

Today on Twitter, Minaj teased that she’s planning to release the lineup for her upcoming tour on Friday, November 17. “This will be incorporated into the tour lineup… the tour lineup that you guys will have in 3 days,” Minaj posted, pointing out that her shows will at least be held in March if her festival appearance is included among her dates.

While it’s still unknown who exactly Minaj’s tour opening acts will be, this does confirm that she will have (at least) one. Depending on what she intended with the post, her openers could be other Rolling Loud California performers. Some of the other top-billed women — Summer Walker, Sexyy Red, or Flo Milli — could be potential contenders for Minaj’s Pink Friday 2 shows.

Upon hearing the news, fans are also thrilled about the chance to hear Minaj’s new album at the California festival. Others are worried about if it will be her only show in Los Angeles for the tour.

Nicki Minaj reveals that she regrets her plastic surgery. Speaking on The Run-Through with Vogue after the release of her cover story, Minaj revealed she was fine as she was.

“I guarantee you, if you change anything on your body and do anything surgical and all this, you’re going to more than likely, not definitely, more than likely look back one day and say, ‘I was fine just the way I was,” Minaj said. “And that’s what happened to me.”

She added, “Seeing my son did remind me of myself so much. My real self. And it made me think, ‘Why didn’t I like this?’ So weird.”

Because there are certain things that I always do similar in all my tours. This time, it’s going to be a completely different perspective.”

Which is saying a lot! Given her Young Money labelmate Drake recently shut down arenas all over the world on his It’s All A Blur Tour.

Nicki Minaj Once Again Declines To Reveal Her Son’s Name

Earlier today, Nicki Minaj shared her newest magazine cover. She took to Instagram to show fans the result of her Vogue cover shoot where she’s sporting a gorgeous white dress. “Anna, thank you. I can’t really find the words to sum up all these emotions right now, but gratitude is number 1 on the list. Thank you for making one of my WILDEST dreams come true. A beautiful & surreal experience from start to finish,” she captioned the post.

But the cover shoot wasn’t all they did with Nicki. They also shot an episode of their iconic 73 Questions series with the legendary rapper. The video has already racked up over 200k views in just a few hours and sees Nicki answering questions on a variety of subjects. One of which is her son, known to the world as Papa Bear. She explains, or rather tries to explain why that is his nickname. “I’ve always been a nickname person. I give everyone I love these nicknames, normally. He actually had a couple nicknames. His first nickname while he was in my stomach was ‘Bubba.’ When he came out, it just transformed into ‘Papa Bear.’ I can’t explain it, but when I look at him that’s what I thought.” Ultimately, she once again declines to reveal her son’s name to the public. Check out the full video below.

Has Nicki Minaj Revealed Her Son’s Real Name?

Nicki Minaj speaks, and the Barbz (sometimes) listen. With Pink Friday 2 due out on December 8, Minaj’s birthday, the call-and-response is active as ever. Last weekend, Minaj played snippets of unreleased tracks, pondered releasing an EP of said tracks, and teased a newly recorded track “Let Me Calm Down,” which she described as “one of my faves.”

After challenging the Barbz to get #TellUsNicki trending worldwide yesterday, November 8, Minaj rewarded her fan base this morning, November 9, by revealing herself on the cover of Vogue‘s December Issue. Within the accompanying profile, Minaj discussed a range of topics, including what Pink Friday 2 will sound like, but she’s still keeping one secret to herself.

“Minaj has not publicly revealed the name of her son, whom she prefers to call Papa Bear,” Vogue‘s Rob Haskell wrote. “She and [Minaj’s husband, Kenneth] Petty navigated his infancy with no help whatsoever save for an occasional brief visit from a grandparent.” However, the cover spread features a photo of Minaj cradling Papa Bear, whose name has been a point of speculation since his birth on September 30, 2020.

Ahead of Pink Friday 2, which will enjoy a supporting tour in 2024, Minaj has dropped singles “Last Time I Saw You” and “Super Freaky Girl,” becoming Minaj’s third-career No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. She also shared “Bahm Bahm” exclusively on her website on Friday, October 13.
