Nicki Minaj Enlists Cardi B’s Rival Bia For “Gag City Reloaded” Tour

Nicki Minaj and Cardi B have a long history of not getting along, and fans suspect that the former’s latest announcement arrived alongside some subtle shade. Yesterday, Nicki took to X to unveil dates for the second leg of her Pink Friday 2 tour, which she’s dubbed “Gag City Reloaded.” It begins in September and will run into November, and the Barbz can’t wait. She also revealed who will be joining her on the tour, Skillibeng, Tyga, and Bia.

“#GagCityReloaded will be a beautiful, magical dream come true,” she wrote. “Better than the 1st half & that wasn’t easy to do. New looks, set list changes, other secrets, ummmm new music? Lemme think about it. Thank you to the team doing this with me again. They’re simply the best. To the guest artists who will come out in their cities, thank you in advance; and to these 3 TALENTS (who I have so much love & respect for) for taking the G6 to #GAGCITY just for the Barbz & me. @tyga @bia @skillibeng. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!”

Of course, Bia has her own history of feuding with Cardi, which reached a peak earlier this year. Bia put Cardi on blast for threatening to sue her over cheating accusations and later dropped a diss track about the “Enough” rapper. On it, she continued to accuse Cardi of infidelity, tore apart her overall persona, and even name-dropped her kids. As far as fans know, a lawsuit was never filed, though Cardi later teased what might have been a response which has yet to be released.

Nicki Minaj Upsets Her Dublin Barbz With Extreme Tardiness & A Shortened Set

Nicki Minaj is still one of the biggest artists in the world, but her Dublin fans are not letting her slide because of that. According to TMZ Hip Hop, there are currently hundreds of upset Barbz on X (formely Twitter) right now after a majorly disappointing set in Ireland. Nicki’s performance was originally set to begin around 8 p.m., but time kept ticking, while the fans were growing more and more impatient. Apparently, the rainfall was substantial, and the temperature was in the mid to low 50s. Obviously, when you mix those two things together, you are going to have a lot of unhappy campers.

Since the Pink Friday 2 World Tour showing last night, almost all of Nicki’s Dublin fans have been demanding refunds and dubbing her lack of professionalism “disgraceful”. Additionally, it seems she only performed for less than one hour. One concert goer’s frustration was so high that she decided to find Nicki’s jet departure and arrival time. “Done some digging, I was at the concert too! Her jet departed Vienna at 18:55 (Irish time) and landed in Dublin at 21:36 (Irish time) by the looks of things she was late purely out of her own choice! Doesn’t give a f*** about her fans!”.

Nicki Minaj Put On A “Disgraceful” Show According To Her Dublin Fans

There were a couple of people who will still just happy to see Minaj perform for the “45 minutes” she was onstage. However, it is safe to say that her Dublin audience might dwindle a bit after last night. So far, Nicki Minaj has not said anything about her tardiness and shortened set. All that is on her social media right now are some clips of her performing and a few of the more easy-going supporters having a blast.

What are your thoughts on Nicki Minaj getting torn to pieces by her Dublin fans after her disappointing show? What do you think went wrong that she was so late? Nicki Minaj’s Chaotic Airport Arrest Forced Her Manchester Concert To Be Postponed, But A New Date Has Been Revealed

It was a weekend for Nicki Minaj. On Saturday, May 25, Minaj live-posted her chaotic arrest at an Amsterdam airport during her Pink Friday 2 World Tour. According to The Associated Press, Netherlands police “discovered marijuana in her bags as she was preparing to leave the country.”

Minaj was released later that night, as reported by various reputable outlets, after “sitting in a jail cell for five-to-six hours,” according to Minaj. The debacle forced Minaj to postpone her scheduled May 25 Pink Friday 2 World Tour concert in Manchester, England. (Minaj also had a pre-existing May 30 Manchester show on her tour.)

“OK guys, I was JUST RE-ADVISED that we actually CAN NOT do any other date for the make up #gagcityMANCHESTER date besides JUNE 3rd,” Minaj wrote on X (formerly Twitter) on Monday, May 27. “So JUNE 3rd is the new official date for all ticket holders who originally had tickets to the MAY 25th #Manchester show. I apologize for all the inconvenience this has caused. I really hope you can make the #JUNE3rd show. It’ll be really special. Ticketmaster will contact you to advise officially. #GAGCITY Love you.”

Minaj was able to perform as scheduled in Birmingham, England, on Sunday, May 26, and she will hit up London’s famed The O2 on May 28, Glasgow on May 29, Manchester on May 30, Paris on June 1, and Amsterdam on June 2, before looping back to make up her May 25 Manchester date on June 3.

See all of Minaj’s remaining dates here, and check out some of her posts regarding the matter below.

Nicki Minaj Has Issued A Statement Following Her Arrest In Amsterdam For Drug-Related Charges

Nicki Minaj is officially a free woman.

Yesterday (May 25), the “Barbie World” rapper was arrested while traveling in Amsterdam, Netherlands. According to Dutch authorities, Nicki was detained for “exporting soft drugs” in relation to the pre-rolled marijuana cigarettes reportedly found in her possession. Now, the entertainer is speaking out regarding the incident.

Late yesterday evening, Nicki released a statement on her official X (formerly Twitter) account. “Thank you to everyone who prayed for me today,” she wrote. “May God cover you & all that is connected to you. May you be blessed beyond your imagination.”

In the second half of Nicki’s note, she explained why her Pink Friday 2 World Tour stop in Manchester, England was postponed despite her having been released by law enforcement. “After sitting in a jail cell for 5–6 hours, my plane still didn’t take off for another 20 mins once I boarded,” she wrote. “The flight was 50 mins. That’s why they had to do the big song and dance because they knew I’d still find a way to perform even if it came down to my last 90 mins in the building, which would have been until 11:30 p.m. The building was willing to go past 11 p.m. So grateful to them for that.”

Although Nicki’s scheduled show did not take place, she decided to host an impromptu meet-and-greet near her hotel.

She also promised to circle back to the city to makeup for the missed performance. “Please please please accept my deepest and most sincere apologies,” she wrote. “They sure did know exactly how to hurt me today, but this, too, shall pass. We will have another date for tonight’s show shortly, and I’ll probably be able to share it tomorrow. One July option & one June option is currently being discussed. I’ll find a way to not only make up the date with the performance. But I’m going to create an added bonus for everyone that had a ticket for this show. Promise.”

Nicki didn’t let up on Dutch authorities. In a separate post, she pointed out that she wasn’t the only Black woman to seemingly have experienced racially charged mistreatment. Nicki reposted the statement shared after Ari Lennox’s 2021 arrest in the country.

At this time, a new date has not yet been revealed for the rescheduled Pink Friday 2 World Tour shows.

Nicki Minaj Announces A Second North American Leg Of The “Pink Friday 2” Tour

Once of the biggest tours of 2024 so far has been Nicki Minaj’s Pink Friday 2 world tour. It kicked off back in November with a North American run. The shows made nightly news for the various guests she had on stage with her. Rather than opting for a roster of opening acts she instead chose to have different star guests on in nearly every single city. Now the tour has taken off on a European leg which is racking up sold out shows of its own. She’s sold out more than 30 consecutive arena shows. She’s also continually added more shows in more cities to her impressive run.

Now she’s made one of the most significant additions yet. Earlier today Nicki announced that there will be an entire second North American leg of the tour starting later this year when she returns from overseas. It’s a pretty exciting prospect for Nicki fans that weren’t able to catch her the first time around. How many extra shows she will perform as well as the dates and locations of the shows haven’t been announced yet. Fans can sign up for pre-sale right now and Minaj promises that the tickets themselves will go on sale at some point in the next few days. Check out the announcement she shared below.

Earlier this month Nicki took a break from touring to appear at this year’s MET Gala. She wore a dress that leaned into the events garden theme.
