Nicki Minaj Reveals The Dates For The Second North American Leg Of Her “Pink Friday 2” Tour

Nicki Minaj first revealed the dates for her new Pink Friday 2 tour late last year. It followed the release of the album of the same name, her first in 5 years dating back to Queen. The tour took off in February and has made near nightly news ever since. Rather than taking a variety of opening acts along with her she opted to bring out multiple high-profile guests at almost every stop on the tour so far. She’s already embarked on the European leg of the tour but fans in North America who didn’t get to see her the first time around will have another chance.

Nicki recently announced that there would be a second North American leg of the Pink Friday 2 tour later this year. While she didn’t reveal much of any info about when and where she would be playing, fans didn’t have to wait long for the official announcement. She unveiled 22 new dates beginning in early September and running into October. The tour is scheduled to hit 21 different spots, with an additional second show in Los Angeles. Pre sale for the newly announced shows begins later today with the full general sale starting on Friday. Check out the full announcement post she shared below.

Videos of her interaction with police flooded the internet quickly and generated backlash for the way she was treated. She was released shortly after and hit with a fine but was forced to cancel the Manchester date of her tour. Thankfully, the show was quickly rescheduled with a new date having already been announced.

Nicki Minaj’s Chaotic Airport Arrest Forced Her Manchester Concert To Be Postponed, But A New Date Has Been Revealed

It was a weekend for Nicki Minaj. On Saturday, May 25, Minaj live-posted her chaotic arrest at an Amsterdam airport during her Pink Friday 2 World Tour. According to The Associated Press, Netherlands police “discovered marijuana in her bags as she was preparing to leave the country.”

Minaj was released later that night, as reported by various reputable outlets, after “sitting in a jail cell for five-to-six hours,” according to Minaj. The debacle forced Minaj to postpone her scheduled May 25 Pink Friday 2 World Tour concert in Manchester, England. (Minaj also had a pre-existing May 30 Manchester show on her tour.)

“OK guys, I was JUST RE-ADVISED that we actually CAN NOT do any other date for the make up #gagcityMANCHESTER date besides JUNE 3rd,” Minaj wrote on X (formerly Twitter) on Monday, May 27. “So JUNE 3rd is the new official date for all ticket holders who originally had tickets to the MAY 25th #Manchester show. I apologize for all the inconvenience this has caused. I really hope you can make the #JUNE3rd show. It’ll be really special. Ticketmaster will contact you to advise officially. #GAGCITY Love you.”

Minaj was able to perform as scheduled in Birmingham, England, on Sunday, May 26, and she will hit up London’s famed The O2 on May 28, Glasgow on May 29, Manchester on May 30, Paris on June 1, and Amsterdam on June 2, before looping back to make up her May 25 Manchester date on June 3.

See all of Minaj’s remaining dates here, and check out some of her posts regarding the matter below.

Nicki Minaj Has A Stern Warning For DJ Boof After He Signs A Fan’s Chest

Nicki Minaj was not happy with DJ Boof after he shared a picture of himself signing a woman’s chest on his Instagram Story over the weekend. “I’m really famous [cry laughing emoji] They asked me to sign their boobs,” Boof captioned the post. Minaj took to X (formerly Twitter) to scold him for doing so and threaten to fire him if he acts out again. “I promise I’ll fire him if I EVAHHHHH see this again. Df [Da f**k],” she wrote.

When one fan responded that he’s “over here trynna ride the sign my titties wave like,” Minaj joked, “Like??!! It’s clear to SEE boof wanna be ME.” Fans shared plenty of laughs while coming to his defense in the replies. “Let him have his moment,” one user wrote with a number of laughing emojis. Another added: “he can sign mine next concert i go to no shade.”

The humorous posts come after Minaj dealt with some serious legal trouble in Amsterdam over the weekend as well. While she was trying to travel to Manchester for a show on Saturday night, authorities detained her and accused her of carrying drugs. She recorded the ordeal on Instagram Live while claiming it was an ambush afterward. “They’ve been trying to stop me from coming to every show,” she wrote on X afterward. “They took my bags before I could see them. Put it on the plane. Now saying they’re waiting on customs. This is what it looks like when ppl are paid big money to try to sabotage a tour after all else failed. Everything they’ve done is illegal.”

Nicki Minaj Announces A Second North American Leg Of The “Pink Friday 2” Tour

Once of the biggest tours of 2024 so far has been Nicki Minaj’s Pink Friday 2 world tour. It kicked off back in November with a North American run. The shows made nightly news for the various guests she had on stage with her. Rather than opting for a roster of opening acts she instead chose to have different star guests on in nearly every single city. Now the tour has taken off on a European leg which is racking up sold out shows of its own. She’s sold out more than 30 consecutive arena shows. She’s also continually added more shows in more cities to her impressive run.

Now she’s made one of the most significant additions yet. Earlier today Nicki announced that there will be an entire second North American leg of the tour starting later this year when she returns from overseas. It’s a pretty exciting prospect for Nicki fans that weren’t able to catch her the first time around. How many extra shows she will perform as well as the dates and locations of the shows haven’t been announced yet. Fans can sign up for pre-sale right now and Minaj promises that the tickets themselves will go on sale at some point in the next few days. Check out the announcement she shared below.

Minaj will return to the Netherlands next month after a stint in the UK before bouncing all the way across Europe. That leg of the tour will conclude in Belgium in mid-July. Earlier this month Nicki took a break from touring to appear at this year’s MET Gala. She wore a dress that leaned into the events garden theme.

Drake Shows Up For Nicki Minaj At Toronto Show

Drake is easily one of the biggest artists in the history of music. Overall, his records speak for themselves. Although some like to pontificate on whether or not he is the best hip-hop artist of all time, there is no doubt that his influence is felt. During his come-up, there were certain artists he was linked to thanks to label affiliation and overall chemistry. One such artist was none other than Nicki Minaj. He and Nicki have maintained their friendship over the years, and they still support each other’s endeavors.

In fact, Drake came through for Nicki in a big way the other day. While trying to get into Montreal, she was having trouble with the border. As she explains, Drake made a few boss calls and was able to get her in. Although she started her Montreal show extremely late, she was able to get in her set, and move on to Toronto where she performed last night. As it turns out, Drake pulled up to last night’s show, and could be seen in one of the loges up top. He seemed to be having a good time, and it was cool to see him supporting a friend.

Drake In The Building

After all, the Scotiabank Arena is a place that he is most definitely accustomed to. The Toronto arena is home to the Toronto Raptors and the Toronto Maple Leafs. Moreover, Drake has performed countless shows there at this point. One day, he will probably have some sort of jersey in the rafters over there. Either way, despite all of his recent feuds, he seems to be enjoying life, and living on with business as usual.

Let us know what you think of this showing of support from Drake towards Nicki Minaj, in the comments section down below. Do you think that they have another collaboration in the tuck? Have you been to Nicki’s tour? If so, what city? Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the music world.
