Earlier today, it was also reported that Offset called out fans for editing a photo of Cardi B on social media. He told users, “I really be missing my granny and y’all be on the Internet playing games.”

Offset also recently accused Cardi B, the mother of two of his children, of cheating on him. “My wife f**ed a N***a on me gang yall n***as know how I come,” he wrote on social media. Glorilla Defends 2023 BET Awards Performance: “I Wanted To Be Sexy”

Glorilla took to Instagram to defend her recent 2023 BET Awards performance of “Lick or Sum.” Speaking to her fans on the platform, the Memphis rapper argued that she wanted to “be sexy” on the stage. “Y’all wanted me to be up there dancing like Chief Keef,” she joked. “I wanted to be sexy.”

In response to the live stream being shared to The Neighborhood Talk, fans had mixed feelings. One complained “It just wasn’t smooth like it didn’t flow and it had nothing to do with the music.” On the other hand, many fans defended Glorilla’s change of pace. “The way you come in the industry is the way people want you to come out the industry so you betta choose wisely cause that first impression mean everything cause once you switch up from what they used to it might go downhill,” one commented.

Glorilla’s performance came ahead of the publication of an interview she did with Rolling Stone, in which she explained how she sets herself apart from other female rappers. “I know a lot of dudes, they won’t ride around listening to no girl that sounds like a girl because they are going to be like, ‘Oh, I’m being pussy,’” GloRilla said. “But they hear me, and now [they say], ‘She slick sound like one of us.’ I say shit that’s for females, but it’s stuff that n-ggas can say in reverse. I actually like going through shit sometimes because it makes me perfect my craft.”

Offset Reveals BET Awards Performance With Quavo Was Put Together In 16 Hours

During a recent Instagram Live, Offset shared details of his performance alongside Quavo at the 2023 BET Awards. He called the show “iconic,” going on to reveal that it only took a total of around 16 hours to put together. The artist also explained that they did the performance for Takeoff, the late Migos’ member who passed away in 2022. “We’re the greatest group to ever touch the mic,” Offset says, “R.I.P. to my brother [Takeoff].”

Me and [Quavo] stood tall,” he explained, thanking all of his fans for their support. “It was a movie,” Offset continues, “It was a vibe, we needed that for the culture.” The surprise performance stunned their fans and peers alike. T.I. weighed in backstage, calling the show “Goddamn monumental.” He went on to say it’s “something they gonna be talking about ten years from now.” It was the duo’s first time performing together since Takeoff’s death. The show featured pyrotechnics, and a massive projection of their late Migos’ collaborator projected behind them.

Offset Says They Did The Show For Takeoff

The recent reunion got fans hoping that Offset and Quavo may be coming out with some new music together in the near future. Sadly, it was reported earlier this week that they plan on holding off for now. Viewers were eager to see the two get together after backstage beef that reportedly took place at the 2023 Grammy Awards. Reports suggested that the fight surrounded another tribute to Takeoff, and even involved Offset’s wife Cardi B. After the alleged physical altercation, Offset took to social media to deny it ever occurred. He also called those making the accusations “crazy.”

Patrick Xavier Clark was formally charged for Takeoff’s murder last month. Offset previously shared that his final collaboration with his Migos’ collaborator will be on his next album. The album has also been confirmed to feature Travis Scott, Cardi B, Chloe Bailey, Latto, and Future.

Ken Carson Fan Runs On Stage, Gets Tackled By Security

There are many rappers out there who have experienced fans trying to get a little too close while they’re performing. According to XXL, Ken Carson recently became the newest on that list when a fan ran on stage during a show. Carson does exactly what you’d expect him to, back away and let security handle it. That’s right about when a huge security guard comes on stage and tackled the man rugby style. The whole time he’s being carried off stage Carson continues performing without a hitch. You can watch the entire video below.

Ken Carson has kept pretty busy in recent years. The Opium rapper has only dropped one new single so far this year. His newest song “i need u” came out back in February. That followed his album “X” which dropped in 2022. The 20-track project received quite a bit of attention but also quite a bit of backlash. His style was compared unfavorably to that of his own label head Playboi Carti. Much like fellow Opium rapper Destroy Lonely many have labeled Carson as merely a Playboi Carti rip-off.

Ken Carson Security Tackles A Fan

Ken Carson’s debut mixtape Project X dropped back in 2021. It followed a pair of EPs that included his breakout hit song “yale.” While Project X had no features in its tracklist it did end up with a hit song of its own. “Rock N Roll” is Ken Carson’s second biggest song to date. He’s also been a part of some meaningful collaborations in the past. In 2022 he teamed up with SoFaygo and the pair delivered yet another hit on the song “Hell Yeah.”

Carson made a memorable appearance on the Yeat album 2 Lyfe last year. He also shows up on “money & sex” the bonus track from Destroy Lonely’s new album this year. The song has become a hit on TikTok since it was first dropped. What do you think of Ken Carson’s security tackling a fan who tried to run on stage? Let us know in the comment section below.

Juvenile Puts On A Tiny Desk Concert

NOLA artist Juvenile recently took on NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert series. In the video released today, he’s joined by a full band, including drums, guitar, keys, and bass. The performance also featured a brass section, strings, and backing vocalists. Juvenile’s set was almost 30 minutes long, and featured various hits like “Set It Off,” “Slow Motion,” “Ha,” and more. The highly-requested performance took place after a recent Twitter exchange between Juvenile and fans calling for him to be featured on the concert series.

After Trina put on a memorable show at her recent Tiny Desk Concert, fans suggested that another artist of that era, Juvenile, should appear on the series. The artist weighed in after a fan asked, “Can we please get a Juvenile Tiny Desk?” “Wtf is a tiny desk,” he wrote, “and no.” He later recanted his statement, claiming that he’d do a Tiny Desk show under some conditions. “Ok ok,” he Tweeted, “All Things Considered, 10k retweets and I will RECONSIDER doing @NPR Tiny Desk while drinking an ice cold #JuvieJuice from @UrbanSouthBeer!!!”

Juvenile Performs Classics

Juvenile is also set to put on a show at the 2023 Essence Festival in New Orleans today. After the fest’s lineup came out earlier this month, the artist shared that he was disappointed that Jermaine Dupri failed to include him in his “The South Got Something To Say” set. Other notable performers listed were Big Boi, Gucci Mane, T.I., Ludacris, and more. He shared his thoughts on social media. “How is Essence doing 50 years of hip hop in New Orleans without me???” he asked.

The artist then took to promoting another festival called Donna Fest, urging fans to come see his performance there instead. He boasted the array of food vendors that will be at Donna Fest, as well as the festival’s affordable ticket prices. It was later announced that Juvenile would be playing the festival after all. “Hip-Hop 50 without Juvie? Not a chance. June 30th, NOLA we live!” he wrote on Twitter.

Ludacris Performs In Massive Air Force 1s

A recent clip shows Ludacris performing in a pair of massive Nike sneakers. The huge pair of white Air Force 1s is a reference to the music video for his 2003 Chicken-n-Beer track “Stand Up,” featuring Shawnna. The artist took to Instagram to share the footage, writing “When Yo Momma Tells You To Stop Stompin Around The House,” alongside a facepalm emoji.

In the “Stand Up” music video, Ludacris is shown stomping two times with one foot, wearing a comically large shoe. The clip also circulated as a meme for a while. Lizzo Shows Up Hyped For Beyonce Concert

Celebrities love showing their support for other celebs. The places we’ve learned that best are on recent major arena tours like Taylor Swift’s and Beyonce’s. At a recent show in Warsaw, Beyonce had one special fan in particular at the concert. Video circulated of Lizzo in the audience enjoying Yonce’s show. The “About Damn Time” singer was particularly excited to hear Beyonce play “Church Girl.” She sang along to the Renaissance deep cut in a video making the rounds on social media. The video went viral just a few hours after a different video from the show. That clip showed Zendaya and Tom Holland in attendance at the same show.

As many celebrities have shown up to the Renaissance Tour Beyonce has still firmly been the center of the show. Throughout the shows, she’s debuted dozens of new flashy outfits. The performances themselves have been evolving from stop to stop as well. In a recent performance, she was narrowly saved from a wardrobe malfunction. The quick thinking of one of Beyonce’s long-time collaborators saved the superstar from what could have been a painful mishap.

Lizzo Sees Beyonce Live Again

Longtime Lizzo fans won’t be surprised to see her at another Beyonce show. She’s always been a massive fan of Queen B and has consistently spoken highly of the influence she has on her own sound and style. Later on social media, she divulged that she’s seen Beyonce live 10 times. She’s officially made it 11 with this new concert she attended in Warsaw.

Earlier this month Lizzo was confirmed as a headliner for this year’s Made In America Fest. The fest’s other headliner is her good friend and frequent collaborator SZA. The pair have been linked repeatedly this year following SZA’s remix of Lizzo’s song “Special.” SZA also recently came to the defense of her against online bullies in a recent series of tweets. SZA also made an appearance in Lizzo’s HBO Concert Documentary earlier this year. What do you think of Lizzo popping up at a Beyonce concert? Let us know in the comment section below.
