Method Man Shares Wild Shrooms Story With Tupac, Diddy & More: Watch

The legendary Method Man of the Wu-Tang Clan is an amazing storyteller, both on wax and on air. Moreover, he recently say down with N.O.R.E., DJ EFN, and the rest of the Drink Champs for a comprehensive and entertaining-as-ever interview. During their conversation, Johnny Blaze recalled a wild story about being high on mushrooms for the 1996 Soul Train Awards afterparty in Los Angeles. This was at the height of East Coast and West Coast tensions, and what’s hilarious is that he met its executive leaders in the same night- and everything went super well. Of course, he was on shrooms, so that’s part of it, but we’re glad nothing ruined his high.

“I’m on mushrooms like a motherf***er,” Method Man began. “It didn’t hit me while I’m in the club ’til I saw Puff. I see Puffy with like six bodyguards- and then it hit me. It was like, ‘Wait a minute.’ Mind you, Puff don’t speak to me. No, he speaks to me, but he never speaks to me like this. Embraces me, ‘Meth, what’s up, n***a!’ So now it’s like, ‘Oh s**t.’ I’m looking around to see if anyone saw me speak to this motherf***er,” referring to the East and West clash. “I just don’t wanna be on anybody’s f***ing radar at this point- the shrooms. I’m in my head like cr*zy like, ‘Did that just happen?’ ‘Cause Puff’s never that nice to me. I mean, he’s nice, but never that nice to me. I’m f***ed up off these shrooms. Now I’m at the peak of shroom high.

Method Man’s Shrooms Tale

“And I hear, ‘Mef!’” Method Man continued. “I look and it’s [Queen] Latifah. She was like, ‘What the f**k are you doing up in that corner? Come here!’ And I snapped out of that s**t. I was good the rest of the night after that! Shout out to you, Dana, I love you.” Then, the New York MC met Tupac and Suge Knight for the first time. “He’s telling me about some incident that happened with RZA in Vegas,” referring to the Wu leader allegedly getting his chain snatched there. “If he was there it definitely wouldn’t have happened, blah blah blah. Basically, he was saying if there was anybody we would f**k with on the East Coast, it’d be Wu-Tang. This is letting us know- and anybody that was in the know- that it wasn’t an East Coast-West Coast thing; it was a Bad Boy-Death Row thing.

“He started saying something else but I’m not really listening because I’m looking at the Death Row piece on his chain,” he went on. “This my first time meeting ‘Pac so I’m like, ‘Oh s**t, this is f***ing Tupac! Look at that f***ing chain!’ I remember looking at Suge and he got the cigar like this and he’s like… nothing. No expression, just stoic. Cameras is on, n***a! He in Suge mode. So I’m like, ‘Yeah…’ Walk out, get out front, and no lie, I remember being in the back of Pink Dot in that alley way, and we sat there and we discussing that whole night of how that s**t was so f***ing weird […] It was definitely the mushrooms.” For more news and updates on Method Man, log back into HNHH.

Mase Insinuates Diddy Is Tied To Keefe D, Tupac’s Murder Suspect

Mase just opened up a decades-long debate while commenting on Keefe D’s arrest in the Tupac Shakur murder case on his sports talk show with Cam’ron. Alongside a special guest, comedian Bubba Dub, they labeled the development as the most “trash moment of the week.” Moreover, the rapper sarcastically remarked that something about the name sounded familiar, which prompted hilarity from Cam and Bubba. He acted oblivious and prompted the comedian to explain the case and also imitate Diddy’s dance, as he knew that Mase just implied that his former rival Sean Combs had something to do with it.

“I pray 2Pac gets justice whoever is involved, I don’t even mean that in no joking way,” he said, which made his Dipset co-host laugh and shake his head with his arms in the air. For those unaware, these allegations come straight from Keefe D himself, who claimed in a 2008 police confession that he talked about a deal with Diddy to kill both Tupac and Suge Knight in the mid-1990s. Still, the Southside Compton Crips member said that the mogul’s payment never came through. Of course, Diddy has vehemently denied his involvement numerous times in the past.

Mase Alludes To Diddy’s Involvement With Keefe D In Tupac Shakur’s Murder

As the story stands, or at least what authorities believe, Orlando Anderson (Keefe D’s nephew) shot Tupac dead in 1996 shortly after the rap legend attacked him in a Vegas MGM hotel and casino. Allegedly, Anderson had stolen a Death Row associate’s chain months prior. Even Tupac’s brother spoke on Diddy’s potential involvement, though, during a recent conversation. “This individual [Keefe D] mentioned [Diddy’s] name,” Mopreme Shakur told The Comedy Hype News Show. “Law enforcement has a job to do. Will they do it? It does feel like ‘Pac is being vindicated because back in them days when things were going down, everybody thought he was cr*zy. He may not have expressed it properly, but that don’t mean he was wrong. So we’ll see.”

“They’re going to need very credible substantiating witnesses,” retired LAPD detective Greg Kading told Rolling Stone of Combs’ involvement in a recent interview.. “They would have to say, ‘I was there when I heard him make the solicitation,’ or ‘I was there when the money got paid, and it was very clear that that money was designated for this purpose,’ or ‘I delivered the money.’ Whether those people exist or not, I don’t know. I’ve always given a caveat to the whole ‘Puffy’ Combs connection. Puffy’s not built like Suge Knight, and I don’t think Puffy was truly intentionally trying to get either Tupac or Suge killed. I don’t like Puffy. I don’t think he’s a murderer.” For more on Diddy, Mase, Tupac, and Keefe D, log back into HNHH.

Diddy Believes Yung Miami Will Be Like Oprah Winfrey

During a recent interview, Diddy gave his thoughts on what he thinks the next generation of hip-hop moguls will look like. Of course, considering his extensive business portfolio and profile in both realms, few are as qualified, experienced, and successful when it comes to their predictions. Moreover, it also comes as no surprise that the Bad Boy head honcho would compare a billionaire-to-be with one of the most adorned media figures ever. Furthermore, he compared Yung Miami to Oprah, and said that she’ll one day match her status in her own lane and become a rap billionaire. Clearly, Sean Combs has a lot of faith and support for his on-and-off-again flame.

Nipsey Hussle, to me, was that young Puff version,” Diddy remarked of a question about which rising stars could become business titans like him one day. “But one person that I can say right now is Travis Scott. I can relate to how he’s diversifying his portfolio and really understanding how to take it to the next level.” Then, he evoked Oprah while describing the City Girl, speaking specifically on their various media outlets.

Diddy Dishes On The Rap Billionaires Of Tomorrow

“I also think Yung Miami [real name Caresha Brownlee] from the City Girls,” Diddy continued. “She reminds me of Oprah with the endless possibilities that she has as far as her clothing line, television shows, performances, live podcasts. I really respect both of their hustles and see them being able to break through.” Of course, this isn’t a bad prediction to make at all, considering the success of the Caresha Please podcast and the Florida native’s other business endeavors. In fact, this is a timely comparison to make, as she recently (and hilariously) revealed what NSFW question she would ask Oprah.

Meanwhile, the next class of rap billionaires might look very different, but that’s the exciting nature of conversations like these. It seems like there are more people than ever poised to claim a spot, as the genre continues to grow and expand its reach. Who do you think will be the next Jay-Z? Let us know in the comments and stick around on HNHH for the latest updates on Diddy, Yung Miami, and Oprah.

Diddy Accused By Diageo Of Working Against Other Black-Owned Businesses

Diddy and liquor company Diageo are locked in a nasty lawsuit right now, with both alleging mismanagement, a poor working relationship, and lack of support against each other. Moreover, Sean Combs sued the spirits conglomerate back in May of 2023, with whom he masterminded Ciroc vodka in 2007 and DeLeón tequila in 2013. While Ciroc was a resounding success for both, DeLeón was less so, and his lawsuit alleged that Diageo was racist in promoting Ciroc and DeLeón to solely urban markets, instead favoring white-backed brands like George Clooney’s Casamigos. However, now the company claims that Puff Daddy, through his Combs Wine and Spirits company (CWS) that partnered with them, engaged in some racial discrimination of his own despite his philanthropic image.

Furthermore, according to legal documents obtained by AllHipHop, Diageo stated that Diddy “discouraged Diageo from working with other Black business people and influencers. [He] demanded that Diageo redirect millions of dollars earmarked to support such causes to him personally.” Not only that, but they claim that the Bad Boy mogul went ballistic when the company donated $100 million to COVID-19 hospital workers.

“Mr. Combs demanded that Diageo pay him $100 million,” the company levied in their most recent filing. [He] threatened then to ‘reach out to every news outlet’ to ‘burn the house down’ and cause maximum damage to Diageo and the DeLeón brand by making public accusations of racism if Diageo refused to write the check.” Overall, the history between these two entities is long, contentious, and skewed in both’s eyes. Despite this pushback, Diddy’s lawyer John C. Hueston dismissed all accusations against him by the liquor company in a statement to AllHipHop on Friday (September 29).

“Diageo claims its executives were available to hear all of Mr. Combs concerns about race and diversity issues,” Hueston began. “The sad truth is that they never truly listened to what Mr. Combs was saying and brushed them off as threats and demands for money. If they had actually taken the time to comprehend his concerns, and lived up to the agreements they signed, we wouldn’t be in court today.” For more news and the latest updates on Diddy, come back to HNHH.

Diddy Scores Legal Win In Diageo & DeLeon Tequila Case, Will Move Forward

In the ongoing case of Diddy versus Diageo, the company that allegedly mismanaged his DeLeon tequila brand and was discriminatory, he just scored a significant victory. Moreover, the liquor conglomerate motioned to dismiss the case altogether or reach private settlement, according to court documents from Thursday in New York state court. The Bad Boy mogul watched as Judge Joel M. Cohen rejected these proposals, thus moving the case forward into state jurisdiction and opening the trial to the public. Sean Combs initially filed this lawsuit in May. It claimed that the company breached its partnership deal by failing to support profits and promotion,

Furthermore, this also prompted accusations of racism from Diddy, as he claimed Diageo mistreated their agreement due to his race in comparison to their other lucrative deals. In June, the company denied any and all claims, accusing the musician, executive, and businessman of trying to squeeze even more money out of them. They severed ties with him, alleging that he “repeatedly undermined [their] partnerships. [He] threatened to publicly defame Diageo if [they] did not meet his unreasonable financial demands,” according to a spokeswoman.

In addition, Diageo labeled Diddy as “an unreliable and untrustworthy business partner” who did not fulfill his responsibilities in the deal. Simultaneously with these claims, they motioned for dismissal or closed-doors settlements, given that the parties signed a binding arbitration agreement. Still, the judge did not grant these requests after hearing arguments on both sides for over 90 minutes. “This case has always been about getting fair and equal treatment,” John Hueston, Combs’ lawyer, stated. “Today’s decision is an important step in the right direction. Diageo tried to end this action. Today the judge soundly rejected that effort.”

“I’m fighting for fair and equal treatment for everyone,” the hitmaker chimed in. “This isn’t just about me. I look forward to continuing this fight in court. We all deserve the same 24 hours.” Here’s what a spokesperson for Diageo had to say about this. “While we are disappointed with yesterday’s procedural decision, it is important to underscore that this is not a ruling on the merits of the claims, which we maintain are false and baseless. We are currently considering all legal options.” On that note, check back in with HNHH for the latest updates and more news on Diddy.

Diddy Claims Diageo Retaliated Illegally Amid Discrimination Lawsuit

Diddy’s ongoing lawsuit against the liquor company Diageo on basis of racial discrimination isn’t getting any easier to navigate. Moreover, his recent actions in court to move his case forward included allegations that the spirits brand retaliated against him in an undue way. For those unaware, the Bad Boy mogul partnered with the company to produce, distribute, sell, and promote his tequila, Puff’s DeLeón brand. Back in May, he sued Diageo with claims that they racially discriminated in its handling of his brand and neglected it outright. They responded and claimed this is a farce, and that he only contributed $1,000 to a partnership that raked in over a billion dollars in profits.

Regardless, Diddy’s not going down without a fight, as court documents from Wednesday (July 19) obtained by The New York Post indicate. “The message is clear- if you dare to shed light on Diageo’s conduct, you will be punished,” hiss lawyer John Hueston allegedly told the New York State Supreme Court. “While Diageo has self-servingly misrepresented the goals of Combs’s lawsuit in the press, its attempt to retaliate against Combs for asserting his legal rights will not work in court.” In addition, his filing claims that the liquor company marketed his tequila as an “urban” brand.

“This is a business dispute and should not be recast as anything other than that,” a representative for Diageo told The Post. Furthermore, they maintained that they have a right by contract to “to terminate the marketing services agreement in place for Ciroc and begin the wind down of the DeLeón joint venture. Our actions are consistent with our desire to protect the significant investment we have made in both brands and their future growth. [Diddy’s] longstanding bad faith actions, false accusations and breaches of contract overwhelmingly support Diageo’s justified decision to sever ties.”

Meanwhile, one of Combs’ lawyers told HipHopDX that this is pure retaliation. “It’s a cynical and transparent attempt to distract from multiple allegations of discrimination,” Hueston stated. “Over the years, he has repeatedly raised concerns as senior executives uttered racially insensitive comments and made biased decisions based on that point of view. Diageo even acknowledged the problem by agreeing in his contract to treat DeLeon the same way it treated their other tequila brands. He brought the lawsuit to force them to live up to that contract, and instead they respond by trying to get rid of him. This lawsuit and Mr. Combs are not going away.” For more news and the latest updates on Diddy, check back in with HNHH.

Diddy Wants To Sell DeLeón Tequila “Door To Door” Amid Diageo Lawsuit

Despite Diddy being a certified business mogul, not all of his endeavors end up panning out perfectly, but he still picks himself back up. For those unaware, the Bad Boy boss recently had a falling out with the UK spirits brand Diageo, accusing them of being “racist” when managing his liquors (Cîroc vodka and DeLeón tequila). Moreover, Sean Combs recently appeared in an ad for the latter, stating that the bottle isn’t going anywhere. Not only that, but he referenced his life experiences and said that he will sell it “door-to-door” if he has to. Furthermore, the promotional video appeared on his Instagram page and features him in Harlem giving bottles to local businesses.

“I grew up as a paper boy,” Diddy says in the clip. “That means I would go door to door. So that’s the only way I know how to hustle. I’m going to make DeLeón Tequila number one. Because I’m going to get up every morning at six in the morning and I’m gonna go door to door. And, I’m not going to let nothing or nobody stop me. And neither should you. Let’s go.

Diddy Promotes DeLeón Tequila Amid Liquor Brand’s Rivalry

“I come from New York and I stand behind my product,” Puff Daddy continued. “I was a paper boy. I would go door to door with my hustle. That’s what I’m out here doing. I’m selling a product I believe in. Thank ya’ll for the support. I love ya’ll.” In the video’s caption, he alluded to his current struggles. “Let nothing or nobody stop you,” Diddy wrote. Regardless of his efforts, his lawsuit against Diageo will still be quite the contentious and difficult affair, from what it seems. The company owns over 200 liquor brands, with many of these being celebrity brands.

Meanwhile, the 53-year-old alleged in his suit that Diageo’s North America division “starved Combs’ Cîroc vodka and DeLeón tequila brands of resources.” “Cloaking itself in the language of diversity and equality is good for Diageo’s business, but it is a lie,” the complaint reads. The brand denied his claims, alleged that he didn’t contribute enough monetarily to the partnership, and that he violated his contracts. With that in mind, stay posted on HNHH for the latest news and updates on Diddy.

Yung Miami Makes Diddy Buy Her Bags On Bags Of Chanel In Instagram Skit

Yung Miami and Diddy are a dynamic duo, even if the extent of that dynamism hasn’t blossomed into a full-on relationship. Moreover, people questioned their status for months following a lot of social media posts and outings together, plus the lavish gifts they’ve given each other. Regardless, they seemed to dispel a lot of that at the Met Gala and thanks to the City Girl stating that she’s officially single. According to them, they just went out on a great date night for the event and nothing more, even though questions about them had Diddy sweating bullets. If they’re not in a relationship, at least the Bad Boy mogul is willing to drop a major bag for his platonic twin flame.

Furthermore, the two just put on quite the show for a new Instagram skit promoting the City Girls’ single with Diddy and Fabolous, “Act Bad.” In the clip, they stop by a Chanel store that Yung Miami absolutely raids, emerging with a heap of bags from the store. Diddy, in a bit more of a casual fit, walks out behind her looking almost exhausted, probably because of all the money he spent on her. After all, it’s exactly the kind of advice that their song’s lyrics contain, down to the Chanel reference, and they even got an employee roped into the skit as well.

Yung Miami Thanks Her “Sponsor” Diddy For Heaps Of Chanel Bags

In addition, this is far from the first time that the Florida native showed her love to the fashion brand. Speaking of the Met Gala, she decided to act bad for her afterparty fit that was nonetheless creative and showed her fandom. Yung Miami wore a dress made out of 55 handbags directly inspired by Chanel, and of course looked stunning in it. She always kills it on the style side of things, and started so many extracurricular endeavors that things like rap beef just confuse her.

“I be at home with my kids, ugly with a bun and all, I don’t even get into that,” she said of female rap beef. “But I really don’t know. I feel like it would be so much [more fun] if everybody could just be together. We could bring each other out on shows and just link up. I feel like bad b***hes should really link up. That would be dope if everybody could just… bring their personalities together.” Given that her and Nicki Minaj recently traded words, maybe she understands it more now, although that might’ve been in jest. DJ Drama Believes Tupac & Biggie Would’ve Been As Rich As Jay-Z, Diddy & Dr. Dre

Nearly three decades after their death, there are still very few rappers as revered and celebrated as Tupac Shakur and Biggie Smalls. Moreover, a lot has been speculated over what they would be up to today had they not lost their lives. During a recent appearance on the Jay Hill Podcast, DJ Drama added his hat into the ring of that conversation. Furthermore, the Gangsta Grillz legend believes that they would be at the same level of today’s most successful and entrepreneurial rap titans. He brought up Dr. Dre, Diddy, Snoop Dogg, and Jay-Z as names that the two deceased MCs would rank among.

“When you go back and you listen to Big’s albums or Big’s lyrics, he’s still 20-plus years of saying s**t that’s still impeccable bar-wise,” DJ Drama shared. “‘Pac, the same thing. They both died when they was like 25. Let’s think about where all those that were around them are now. If we think about Dr. Dre, we think about Snoop, we think about Hov, we think about Puff. These are all people that are some of the biggest, most successful and richest people in our culture today.

DJ Drama’s Comments On Biggie & Tupac On The Jay Hill Podcast

“Big and ‘Pac would’ve been right there, if not bigger,” DJ Drama continued. “Let’s really think about it. Look where Snoop and Dre are, look where [Puff] and Hov are. Why would we not think by any means that Big and ‘Pac would not be right up there, billionaires within the culture? They was on their way. Big and ‘Pac wouldn’t have fell off, by no means. They would’ve been up there with the n***as I just named doing amazing things in music and outside of music for sure.”

Of course, Biggie and Tupac’s legacies are so legendary and widespread that they manifest in many ways, whether respectful, culturally impactful, lucrative, or unconventional. On that last category, artificial intelligence renditions featuring Biggie’s voice have been quite controversial lately, for example. While Timbaland made his dream collab as a result, many wonder whether this is the right way to preserve fallen artists’ memories. Regardless, there’s no doubt that no amount of money could ever quantify their impact. Diddy Moves To Dismiss Wrongful Termination Lawsuit From Nanny

Diddy believes that the former nanny suing him for wrongful termination simply didn’t do a good job. Moreover, according to court documents from a Radar Online report, he filed a motion on Wednesday (May 17) to dismiss all issues brought forth by Raven Wales-Walden. What’s more is that she is allegedly related to the Bad Boy mogul’s late ex, Kim Porter. Specifically, Wales-Walden sued him in 2022 and her accusations revolve around her revealing to the star that she was pregnant, which prompted him to fire her in 2020. Now, the rap icon’s official response fought back against these wrongful termination claims.

According to Sean Combs, Wales-Walden did not “satisfactorily perform her job responsibilities, and otherwise conduct herself in accordance with the standards and policies of Combs Defendants.” Also, his response alleged that he took “reasonable steps to prevent and correct workplace discrimination (if any).” Other actions Diddy claimed to take were to “implement internal grievance processes designed to respond to, correct, remedy, or otherwise avoid the alleged harm, if any.” However, the “Creepin’” MC said that the ex-nanny didn’t take advantage of these resources.

“[Wales-Walden] unreasonably failed to utilize the preventive and corrective measures that the Combs Defendants provided,” Diddy’s response continued. “Reasonable use of such procedures would have prevented at least some of the harm (if any) that [Wales Walden] alleges to have suffered. [Wales-Walden was] not performing all of her job duties as required… There were some days that [Wales-Walden] received compensation for work that was not performed, thus resulting in wages being paid to [Wales-Walden] that were not owed.” Still, the 53-year-old is not the only one the nanny brought up in her legal action.

Wales-Walden’s suit also names Tri Star Sports and others, further explaining that she became a full-time nanny before termination. After Porter passed away from pneumonia in November of 2018, she took care of Porter’s twins with Diddy. However, she claimed that the hip-hop businessman became “infuriated” when she revealed her pregnancy. Not only that, but his team allegedly said she set a bad example for his daughters by being pregnant and unmarried. It’s unclear how much she seeks in damages, but Diddy denied all these allegations and questioned her true relation to Kim Porter.
