Drake Net Worth 2023: What Is The Rapper Worth?
Drake, a Canadian rapper, singer, songwriter, and actor, has enjoyed tremendous success throughout his career. Drake’s net worth can be attributed to his music sales, concert tours, endorsements, and business ventures. Let’s dive deeper into the factors that have contributed to Drake’s impressive net worth.
Drake Net Worth
As of 2023, Celebrity Net Worth estimates that the rapper is worth around $250 million, making him one of the wealthiest hip-hop artists globally.
Album Sales And Streaming
Drake’s music has consistently topped the charts since the release of his debut studio album, Thank Me Later, in 2010. With multiple platinum-certified albums, including Take Care, Nothing Was the Same, and Views, he has amassed substantial wealth from album sales and streaming royalties. Drake is also one of the most streamed artists on platforms like Spotify and Apple Music, which has contributed to his net worth.
Concert Tours And Live Performances
A significant portion of Drake’s net worth comes from his concert tours and live performances. He has headlined several successful tours, such as the Club Paradise Tour, Would You Like a Tour?, and Aubrey & The Three Migos Tour, which previously held the title for highest-grossing hip hop tour ever. These tours have grossed millions of dollars, adding to Drake’s fortune.
Drake’s Endorsement Deals
Drake has been involved in various lucrative endorsement deals throughout his career. He has partnered with major brands such as Sprite, Nike, and Apple Music. In 2016, Drake signed a reported $19 million deal with Apple Music, which included exclusive releases and promotional appearances. These partnerships have undoubtedly played a role in increasing Drake’s net worth.
Drake: Business Ventures
In addition to his music career, Drake has ventured into various business projects that have contributed to his wealth. He co-founded the record label OVO Sound with longtime collaborator Noah “40” Shebib and manager Oliver El-Khatib in 2012. The label is home to several successful artists, including PARTYNEXTDOOR, Majid Jordan, and DVSN. Drake also has his own clothing line, OVO (October’s Very Own), which features high-end streetwear and accessories.
Moreover, Drake has invested in the tech industry, backing the gaming company Players’ Lounge and the digital sports media platform, Mars Reel. These investments have diversified his income streams and added to his net worth.
Real Estate
Drake’s net worth is also reflected in his real estate portfolio. He owns a luxurious mansion in Toronto, Canada, known as “The Embassy,” which is reportedly valued at $100 million. The property boasts a full-size basketball court, an indoor pool, and a recording studio. He also bought a $7.7 million estate in Hidden Hills, California, which he recently sold for $12 million.
Philanthropy
While Drake has accumulated significant wealth, he is also known for his philanthropic efforts. He has donated to various causes, such as education, health, and disaster relief. In 2018, Drake famously gave away nearly $1 million in his “God’s Plan” music video to individuals and organizations in need.
Conclusion/TLDR
Drake’s net worth of $250 million is a testament to his hard work, talent, and smart business decisions. As one of the most successful artists in the music industry, his wealth is likely to continue growing in the coming years. With new music, tours, and business ventures on the horizon, Drake’s net worth is a figure that will undoubtedly keep climbing.
Smiley Drops Off New Single “Eternals”
It looks like Smiley’s coming through to dominate the summer. The OVO rapper faced a slew of criticism when he emerged. A lot of people outside of Toronto didn’t necessarily try to understand his sound or his style but eventually, a lot of people began seeing what the same potential Drake saw in him years ago. These days, Smiley seems to be revving up to drop off some new music. Last month, he blessed fans with the single, “Nicky Nine Doors,” which appears to kick off the campaign for new music.
Smiley returned this week to bless fans with his latest offering, “Eternals.” The rapper shared the single, along with a new video, which finds him leveling up from previous releases. Tackling Bavarro Beatz’s energetic production, Smiley comes out the gates swinging. He boasts his status as a rapper, while referencing everything from Dragonball Z, Peter Pan, and his OVO Boss within the first minute. The OVO Sound rapper certainly has a hit on his hands with his latest offering.
Smiley Comes Out With “Eternals”
Between the release of “Nicky Nine Doors” and now, “Eternals,” it seems like Smiley’s follow-up to Buy Or Bye 2 could be on the way. The rapper’s last project dropped in 2021 with the break-out hit, “Over The Top” ft. Drake. However, the rapper kept a low profile since Buy or Bye 2, although he released the deluxe edition and “Rush Hour Freestyle” in 2022. Evidently, he’s gearing up for something major in the months to come.
At this point, it looks like Smiley might be the next artist on the OVO Sound imprint that’s gearing up to drop. The Toronto-based label launched the year with the release of Popcaan’s Great Is He while their new signee, Naomi Sharon, released her EP Another Life around the same time. Needless to say, the entire crew is getting active in 2023 and we’re excited to see what they have up their sleeves for this summer. Check out Smiley’s new single above.

Caught a case, that shit was crucial

Baka Not Nice Drops Off New Single “Took A Trip”
While Drake prepares to hit the road in the coming months, it appears that the rest of the OVO Sound clique is getting their moment to shine. Baka Not Nice doesn’t necessarily flood the market with new music but when he comes through with a new hit, it evidently catches everyone’s attention. He emerged with the release of “Live Up To My Name,” a single that defined the summer of 2017. Though he released a few singles since then, fans have hoped that he’d slide through with another banger in the near future.
This morning, the OVO Enforcer came through with his latest offering, “Took A Trip.” Produced by Darren “dF” Fraser, Baka delivers a chilling banger where he details the balance between his menacing presence in the streets and reaping the benefits for trips in Turks and Caicos. His airy delivery pairs with the hypnotizing production for his first release of 2023. Hopefully, it won’t be his last of the year, though.
Baka Not Nice Is Back
For the most part, Baka hasn’t really been actively dropping new music. However, his new single arrives roughly nine months after releasing the blistering record, “Body & A Face.” Though it certainly maintained a steady rotation on playlists, it also garnered attention for what many perceived to be a shot at Pusha T. In the song, Baka seemingly references Push’s claim on Drink Champs that he’s no longer allowed to enter Canada. Many fans believed that Drake managed to get the Clipse rapper banned from the country.
“Took A Trip” might not spur the same controversy that “Body & A Face” did but it’s certainly another strong entry into his catalog. The rapper released his last project, No Long Talk back in 2019. However, with the release of both of his recent singles, perhaps, we could expect him to come through with another EP before the year comes to an end. Check out his latest single above and sound off in the comments below.
Quotable Lyrics
I’m switchin’ fits ’cause I know these n***as bait
These n***as ain’t seen me, they bettеr call Ray
Tell this girl, I ain’t seen her, I don’t know wherе she come from
Why she playin’ all these games when she knows she wanna cum?
Drake Releases His New Single “Search & Rescue”
Drake hinted at a new project when he performed at the Apollo Theater and it looks like he wasn’t joking. The Her Loss rapper debuted his new single, known as “Rescue Me” on OVO Sound Radio last Friday. Following a joint project with 21 Savage and a foray into house music, the record felt like a return to form for Drake, even down to the petty addition of a Kim Kardashian sample. Overall, fans hoped that the record would finally drop on DSPs, and this morning, he delivered.
The Certified Lover Boy is back in his bag on his new single, “Search & Rescue.” SadPony and BNXY (with additional help from Lil Yachty, 40, Wesley Curtis, and BEAUTIFULMVN) form the moody production while Drizzy’s kicking emotive melodies which are riddled with a touch of auto-tune. The song stays to its original form with the Kim Kardashian sample, as well, while Drake reflects on his search for true love and settling with one woman.
Drake Comes Back Strong
With the release of “Search & Rescue,” we hope that this means Drake’s revving up to drop off some new heat before the summer. Sure, he just blessed us with Her Loss only a few months ago but he already began teasing Scary Hours 3. Though there hasn’t been any clear indication if it’ll drop later this year, it’s hard to think that Drake was simply being generous when he shared his new single.
The song also comes on the heels of Drake’s performance at Dreamville Festival. Drizzy and J. Cole co-headlined Sunday night with a star-studded spectacle. While Cole brought fans through a journey of his catalog, Drake pulled out some show-stopping guest appearances. Lil Uzi Vert, GloRilla, Lil Wayne and 21 Savage came through to perform a few songs. Later this year, Drake and 21 will embark on the It’s All A Blur tour in support of Her Loss. Check out “Search & Rescue” above.

Popcaan Shares Eight New Songs For “Great Is He (Deluxe)”
Just when 2023 rolled around, Popcaan had his sights set on dominating the summer. The Jamaican dancehall singer kept his foot on the gas with a flurry of singles since releasing Fixtape. However, the singer continued to deliver anthem after anthem along with an influx of guest appearances as fans anticipated his next move. The thing is that the dancehall scene anticipates singles rather than albums but when Poppy slid through with Great Is He, the “Family” artist made it clear that there’s room for artists to create full bodies of work.
So, when he came out with Great Is He, Popcaan set out on a mission to come through with a cohesive album. The 17-song effort included high-profile collaborations alongside the OVO boss, Drake, who appeared on the lead single, “We Caa Done,” Burna Boy, and Chronic Law. As we continue to keep it on rotation, he came through with “Bend It Over” as he announced that the official deluxe edition of his latest album would arrive in March.
Popcaan Shares The Deluxe Edition Of His Latest Project
The latest release from Popcaan extends the tracklist to 25 songs in total. The dancehall artist takes the 17-song tracklist and tacked on an additional eight songs. For the most part, Popcaan holds it down on his own, though he enlists Black Sherif for “Celebrate.” Great Is He (Deluxe) showcases Popcaan experimenting further. While a record like “Millionz” sounds fitting for any summer bash, “No Expectations” finds him diving into drill-fluenced production with a soulful touch in his vocal prowess.
With the release of Great Is He (Deluxe), Popcaan could be reading to launch the next chapter of his career. Around the time he dropped the album, he hinted at going independent while fulfilling his deal with OVO Sound, who he signed to in 2018. We’ll keep you posted on that but for now, check out the deluxe edition of his latest project above and sound off with your thoughts in the comments.

Roy Woods Unveils New Single “Don’t Love Me”
The OVO Sound crew is making some serious plays this year, but we continue to anticipate new music from Brampton’s own Roy Woods. In the past few months, we’ve heard new music from Drake, Popcaan, and the ever-mysterious PartyNextDoor. However, we’re still waiting on new music from Roy Woods. The “Gwan Big Up Urself” singer hasn’t released a full-length project since 2020’s Dem Times, which felt like it, unfortunately, fell under the radar and didn’t receive the recognition it truly deserves.
Since then, Roy Woods has warmed up his fans with a slew of records including numerous remixes. Around the time Drake released Certified Lover Boy, Woods flipped “Girls Want Girls” into a RoyMix. Then, he shared a number of singles in 2022, including his collab with DJ Charlie B, “Speeding” and “Insecure.” Each of these records left fans excited for more but he’s yet to provide a concrete date on when his next project will drop. However, we hope that it’s soon.
Roy Woods Shares His Latest Single, “Don’t Love Me”
With Valentine’s Day around the corner, Woods delivered an anthem for part-time lovers with “Don’t Love Me.” UpNorth and Crater deliver a woozy and spacey beat that’s perfect for Woods’ vibrato melodies. Throughout the record, Roy Woods details an on-and-off again relationship as he hopes for more transparency within that bond. “You know I’m bullshit shawty/ But girl, I tried to tell you not to love me,” he said. Roy clearly isn’t adhering to the Valentine’s Day agenda on his latest anthem, and perhaps, that’s what more people need around this time of year.
It seems that “Don’t Love Me” might land on his next project, Mixed Emotions, which will be executive produced by Drake. “He wanted to join the process, so I said ‘Yeah, of course,’” he told HNHH. “I wanted to get my album the best way I could, and with his help, it was perfect. He had a very similar vision of what I wanted, so it wasn’t hard for us to pick songs and go through songs together.” We’ll keep you updated on Mixed Emotions. Press play on his new single above.
Quotable Lyrics
Please, don’t say you’re in love
We both know that we go back
We’re like bread and butter
Girl, ever since we linked up
You’ve had feelings mixed up
