Nicki Minaj Reacts After Nick Cannon Calls Her “The GOAT”

Nicki Minaj reciprocated the love to Nick Cannon, who sees the Queen rapper as “the GOAT.” During a recent appearance on The Bootleg Kev podcast, Cannon proclaimed that the Young Money star stands among the best to ever do it. “First of all, let’s not disrespect Nicki. Nicki is the GOAT, whatever her gender is. She is one of the coldest artists in the last decade. Like, we can’t sleep on her skill, her pen. Sonically, she changed the game,” he said.

Nick Cannon went on to explain that Nicki Minaj’s verse on “Monster” is a prime example of the high level of execution she’s carried in the past decade. “Gender aside, sex aside, she’s dope. Only person that she could – to me – that has the same level of talent and we should even [compare] her to is Lauryn Hill or Missy Elliott,” he added. Eventually, one of Nicki’s fan pages reposted the clip and landed on the rap star’s page. She quoted the tweet and simply added a heart emoji to express her appreciation for Cannon’s kind words.

Nicki Minaj Thanks Nick Cannon

Interestingly enough, the conversation surrounding Nicki Minaj began when Bootleg Kev asked Cannon who he’d choose in a battle between her and Latto. The Drumline star clearly chose Nicki, but he added that he does have a great appreciation for Latto. It’s largely due to the fact that Nicki’s been around long enough to cement her legacy while Latto is still carving hers out. He compared it to the option of having to pick between Nicki and Kim, adding that he would choose the latter.

Ultimately, Nick Cannon explained that Nicki, Lauryn Hill, and Missy Elliott belong on the Mount Rushmore of female rap. However, at the time the interview debuted, this caused a bit of a stir on social media, especially when a few pivotal women in hip-hop weren’t acknowledged. Foxy Brown and Queen Latifah were among the names circulating online. Still, Nicki seems to appreciate Nick Cannon’s acknowledgment of her contributions to the culture overall. Check out Nicki Minaj’s response above and sound off with your thoughts in the comments.

Nick Cannon Turned Down T.I.’s Role In “ATL”

Nick Cannon is a man of many talents, who is known for a myriad of things. One of which is acting. Recently, the Wildin’ Out host spoke with HipHopDX about T.I.’s comments about him auditioning for his role in the film Drumline. When asked about this, Nick Cannon told the publication, “Yeah, I know about that.” “I’ve interviewed T.I. and he’s interviewed me a couple times and we always talk about that story.” Additionally the mogul mentioned, “…he gets mad at me like, ‘Why you always got to bring that up?’” Even though the King of the South’s failed audition is public knowledge now. Most probably aren’t aware that Cannon also audition for T.I.P’s role in the 2006 film ATL.

“I don’t know if he elaborated on this when he was talking to Shannon Sharpe, I was supposed to do ATL,” Cannon said. Additionally, he made these comments before mentioning that both movies were about Grammy Award-winning, musician, songwriter, and producer Dallas Austin. Consequently, Dallas produced both films. Nick Cannon revealed to the publication that Dallas had both scripts done. However, Cannon was presented with two roller skating movies that year. One being Jellybeans (the original name for ATL) and Roll Bounce (classic). “The bag was a little bigger over at Roll Bounce with less days work; so I chose that one,” he revealed.

Furthermore, the businessman elaborated further saying that he did it for the “bag.” “Cause I was doing another movie,” Cannon added. “I was like, ‘I could do this one and still complete the other project.’” He continued, “‘Or I could go back down to Atlanta for a few months and not get paid as much.’ I did it for the bag.” While an alternate universe where Nick Cannon is taking his chain back from New New sounds cool. His role as B-Nard in Roll Bounce is undoubtedly one of his coolest side characters.

ATL is a great coming-of-age film. T.I. was the right one for the job, he portrayed Rashad perfectly. What are your thoughts on both films? Would Nick Cannon have been better in ATL? Would T.I. have been better suited for Drumline? Let us know in the comments below!

Abby De La Rosa Says Nick Cannon Being With Other Women “Turns [Her] On A Little”

Being a rapper’s baby mama may sound like a dream to some. However, the women in Nick Cannon’s life have the constant competition of five other women burdening them. For some, like LaNisha Cole, the situation has proven to be something of a challenge. Others, like Abby Da La Rosa, reveal that seeing their co-parent in the presence of another lady leaves them feeling jealous, sure, but also turned on. The mother of three spilled the tea on Monday’s episode of The Daily Cannon, during which she also recalled her first time meeting the father of twelve.

De La Rosa and The Masked Singer host apparently crossed paths while he was putting on a “dope ass DJ set.” While she was initially attracted to him, “he had one of his other baby mamas there at the same time,” the media personality shared. Abby went on to say that she has “love for all the women” in Cannon’s life when co-host Courtney Bee Bledsoe pressed her to talk about any feelings of jealousy over their unique family structure.

Abby De La Rosa Recalls Meeting Nick Cannon

“For me… because I am so calm and chill, what it will do for me is turn me on a little bit,” De La Rosa admitted. “I get a little jealous, but then at the same time, it’s just like, you know, this is my baby daddy.” In response, Bledsoe pointed out that her friend appears to be “in so deep” regarding her feelings for Cannon, and that she obviously “loves the shit out of [him].” Upon hearing this, she quickly denied the allegations, exclaiming, “No!”

Regardless of what Abby has to say, her co-parent sees the truth. Apparently, she recently gave him a slice of mango, even though she wanted it for herself, proving to him that she cares for him. Their three children, twins Zion and Zillion, and 5-month-old Beautiful, would likely agree with their father’s sentiment. Could you handle being one of Nick Cannon’s six baby mamas? Nick Cannon Put Lauryn Hill, Nicki Minaj, And Missy Elliott On His Female Rap Mount Rushmore

The Rap Mount Rushmore meme reared its head once again on the latest episode of The Bootleg Kev show as the DJ asked his guest Nick Cannon about one of the most notable names in rap.

Cannon and Kev shared their praise of Nicki Minaj, who Cannon took care to note is among the greatest of all time regardless of gender. “She’s one of the coldest artists in the last decade,” he enthused. “We can’t sleep on her skill, her pen, sonically. She changed the game. ‘Monster’? That was her record.”

As he expanded, he went a little more old-school, saying, “The only person, to me, that has the same level of talent, and that we should even be comparing her to, is Lauryn Hill or Missy Elliott. Those three, that’s the Mount Rushmore.”

The Rap Mount Rushmore meme has been a recurring theme online since it’s always good for some engagement. Within the last few years, we’ve gotten takes from the likes of Ja Rule and J. Cole, with the latter putting a tongue-in-cheek spin on things, along with reactions from the likes of the West Coast rap legends who named their group after the meme and Nicki Minaj herself. Meanwhile, Lil Baby had some fun with it for the cover of his album It’s Only Me after fans debated his inclusion in one for Atlanta rappers.

Nick Cannon’s Female Rap Mount Rushmore Includes Nicki Minaj And Missy Elliot

If there’s one thing hip-hop loves to debate, it’s the genre’s various Mount Rushmores. There’s West Coast vs. East, old school vs. new school and of course, male vs. female. The latest lyricist to share their opinion on the best of the best from artists of the opposite sex is Nick Cannon, who spoke with Bootleg Kev about which women’s faces he would have carved into the historic monument.

Unsurprisingly, Nicki Minaj was one of the first names to come up in conversation. “I think [she’s] the female GOAT,” the podcast host told his guest. “She is,” Cannon wholeheartedly agreed. “First of all, let’s not disrespect Nicki. [She’s] a GOAT, whatever her gender is. She’s one of the coldest artists in the last decade. We can’t sleep on her skill, her pen, sonically. She changed the game,” he insisted, the passion evident in his voice. “‘Monster’? That was her record,” the California native added, referring to Kanye West’s My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy fan favourite, which also features Rick Ross.

Nick Cannon Reveals His Female Rap Mount Rushmore

“The only person, to me, that has the same level of talent, and that we should even be comparing her to, is Lauryn Hill,” Cannon went on to say, bringing the Fugees starlet into the chat. “Or Missy [Elliott],” he quickly added. “Those three, that’s the Mount Rushmore.” Kev chimed in with some thoughts on the final addition, noting, “Missy, out of the three we just named, has my favourite music… [She] had a four or five album run that was just like, ‘Jesus Christ.’ And she was working with Timbaland, and helping write for f*cking Ginuwine.”

Now that the interview is making rounds online, social media is calling Nick Cannon out for leaving several major players off his list. Among them are Lil’ Kim, Foxy Brown, and Queen Latifah, all of whom have been huge contributors to shaping both the culture and the music industry throughout their respective careers. Which artists would we find on your female rap Mount Rushmore? Let us know in the comments, and check back later for more hip-hop news updates.

Nick Cannon Says His ‘Super Sperm’ Overpowers Birth Control Efforts

nick

Birth control ain’t got nothing on the sperm from Nick Cannon. 12 babies deep, Cannon revealed that his large family is a result of his own brand of “super sperm.”

Speaking with Howie Mandel on Howie Mandel Does Stuff, Cannon says the power of his sperm was able to move past birth control efforts.

“I’m gonna be honest, I got some super sperm or something ’cause I’ve practiced birth control, and people still got pregnant,” Cannon said.

He added, “I’m trying to be as responsible as I possibly can, learning lessons.”

You can hear it all below.

Nick Cannon has been making his rounds discussing his parenting and trailer load of kids. The father of 12 recently shared that it doesn’t benefit anyone but him to have all his children under one roof. Despite being siblings, the actor who shares his kids with six women says seeing them individually works a lot better.

People Magazine reports:

The actor tells PEOPLE why it “works a lot better” for him to spend individual time with each of his kids rather than get the whole group together.

The 42-year-old, whose new morning show The Daily Cannon debuts on Amp later this month, tells PEOPLE that it “works a lot better” for him to spend individual time with his 12 kids rather than get the whole group together.

Noting that all of his kids come together “when necessary,” he feels the “only person that would benefit from having everyone in the same space would probably be me.”

“I feel like qualitative experiences are when I can give everyone their own individual experience,” he says. “I actually love stepping into their world. Going to their sports games or giving them their personal time for the holidays. So I have no problem with bouncing around.”

Looking to the future, Cannon says he thinks things may change.

“I think as everyone probably gets older, and even as I slow down a little bit more, I’m sure everyone will start coming to me in one place,” he shares.

Nick Cannon, Father Of 12 Children, Understandably Thinks He Has ‘Super Sperm’

Nick Cannon has been making plenty of controversial headlines as of late for being the father of 12 kids. He was recently asked if he would want to have a child with Taylor Swift, to which he enthusiastically responded, “Absolutely, I’m in. Let’s go! That’s the one! I’m all in.”

He was a guest on the Howie Mandel Does Stuff podcast on Tuesday, April 18. He shared an even more headline-worthy fact — he claims that even when protection is used during intercourse, his body somehow renders it useless.

“I’m gonna be honest,” he began, “I got some super sperm or something, ’cause I’ve practiced birth control, and people still got pregnant.”

He also sparked conversation earlier this month for saying he’s not impressed by rap music. “So when people make fun of me, I don’t care — anybody can do that. I’m not impressed by anybody who can rhyme words together. TikTok has proven anyone can do it,” he said. He added, “I commend and salute all poets and storytellers. Those are the greats. But just being able to put some words together over a beat, anybody could do that. Literally, Dr. Seuss has turned us all into rappers.”

Listen to the podcast episode below.

Nick Cannon Claims He Has “Super Sperm”

Nick Cannon’s proclivity for having children seems like the primary thing the musician and television host is known for these days. Cannon has 12 children with six women and recently managed to forget one of their names while on Howard Stern. Her mother was sure to call him out over it on social media. His children’s names vary from Morrocan to Onyx to Halo. One of Stern’s children tragically passed away from cancer at just five months old.

Cannon’s children range from his 11-year-old twins with Mariah Carey to his four-month-old daughter with Alyssa Scott. However, Cannon has four kids all born since September 2022. Cannon also recently said that he wouldn’t want to live with all 12 kids at once. Now 12 kids probably do a lot of things to your way of thinking, but Cannon made an especially bold claim in a recent podcast episode.

“Super Sperm”

Appearing on the Howie Mandel Does Stuff podcast, the conversation inevitably turned to the topic of Cannon’s large family. In regards to how he ended up with so many children, Nick Cannon had a simple (and tongue-in-cheek) answer. “I’m gonna be honest, I got some super sperm or something, ’cause I’ve practiced birth control, and people still got pregnant,” Cannon said. Someone should warn Taylor Swift, who Cannon has (jokingly) eyed as his next baby mama. By comparison, interviewer Howie Mandel has three children.

There is a lot to break down there. First, we would not be doing our due diligence as journalists if we didn’t note that birth control is not 100% effective. While birth control greatly reduces the likelihood of pregnancy, it does not eliminate it completely. But “super sperm” is a bold statement from the 12-time father, though one that’s surprisingly hard to disprove. However, if that’s the case, maybe Cannon could help with NASA’s reported plan to send millions of sperm to the moon. Despite this, Cannon’s 12 children is a modest number. Wikipedia only tracks men who have had 25 children or more. Though to be clear, we are not encouraging Nick Cannon to have 13 more children. But if he does have “super sperm”, that might be out of his control.
