Tua Tagovailoa Hit With Another Concussion

Tua Tagovailoa has had one of the wildest rollercoaster-type seasons ever. He started it off strong with a string of wins to start the year. However, Tua eventually got a concussion which led to three-straight losses for the Miami Dolphins.

Of course, that concussion was a horrible one as it led to a frightening neurological response that was captured on tape. Overall, it was a horrible look for the Miami Dolphins who subsequently changed their protocols. Now, however, they are experiencing another nightmare.

Tua Tagovailoa Gets Hurt

On Sunday, Tua and the Dolphins lost to the Green Bay Packers. Many noted that Tua played poorly in the second half and that it felt like something was off. On Monday, it was revealed that Tua had been put under concussion protocol for the hit below.

After some evaluation, it is now being reported by head coach Mike McDaniel that Tua officially has another concussion. Consequently, he will not get to play this week as Teddy Bridgewater has been named the starting QB. Overall, it is horrible news that could seriously affect Tua’s future.

McDaniel was very somber during his press conference today and it is easy to see why. This is just bad news all around, and you have to be dejected if you are a Dolphins fan who was hoping for some sort of playoff berth.

Hopefully, Tua is going to be okay. He is a very exciting player and it is disheartening to see concussion problems plague his season.

Shannon Sharpe Delivers Epic Takedown Of Russell Wilson

When it comes to holding players accountable, you know that Shannon Sharpe is going to be brutally honest. The Undisputed co-host has had some harsh opinions over the years, and that won’t be changing anytime soon. Overall, it is his honesty that makes him so captivating on television.

Sharpe has had a lot to talk about this year when it comes to the NFL. For the most part, the league has been entertaining and there has been plenty of drama concerning Sharpe’s former team. Of course, we are talking about the Denver Broncos, who just fired Nathaniel Hackett.

Shannon Sharpe Rips Russ

Consequently, Sharpe had a lot to say about what happened with Hackett. Sharpe believes the team is in complete disarray and it will be hard to do anything with Russell Wilson’s contract. Additionally, Sharpe went on a humorous rant against Wilson where he came through with some very creative insults.

“They let Russ cook on Christmas and he burned the god dang gon’ meal! And everybody went hungry thanks to Russ’ cooking,” Sharpe said. “Russ, you better get back on your grind. You better make sure they know that this was a ‘blip’ and not a trend because they’ll eat your money next year.”

For Broncos fans, the Russell Wilson has been a complete and utter disaster beyond comprehension. Wilson used to be one of the best quarterbacks in the entire NFL. Now, he is a shell of his former self, and he is going to need a reality check if he wants to start winning again. Hopefully, for Broncos fans, he is able to get better.

As for Sharpe, it is hard to disagree with anything he said here. These are some unfiltered thoughts, and you have to respect that. Let us know what you think of Sharpe’s remarks, in the comments below.

Skip Bayless Calls Out Mac Jones For Being A Dirty Player

Skip Bayless is easily one of the most vocal people in the entire sports world. He is constantly delivering hot takes on all things sports. He typically gets to do this on Undisputed where he sits across from the likes of Shannon Sharpe. Overall, he is a polarizing figure and that will never change.

More recently, Bayless has come under fire for his treatment of Sharpe. Many have taken issue with how he tries to provoke his co-host. For the most part, Bayless has not addressed any of this, and it is likely that he never will.

Today, however, Bayless and Sharpe had a new task at hand as they discussed the likes of Mac Jones. Jones is not having a particularly great season in New England. In fact, he is now being called a dirty player. This is all thanks to plays like the one down below.

Skip Bayless Reacts

Subsequently, Bayless had an interesting reaction to all of this. As you can see down below, he is shocked that such a young player would stoop this low. He is even more shocked that a quarterback is gaining a dirty reputation. For Bayless, this is almost unheard of.

“I have never, ever heard of a quarterback, A QUARTERBACK, who has been branded as a cheap shot artist and a dirty player,” he said. “What quarterback have you ever known who could even put himself in position to make dirty plays? Somehow this kid pulls it off and this wasn’t a first. It’s like Grayson Allen, who couldn’t keep himself from tripping players.”

Jones is developing one of the worst reputations you can have, and that is not going to bold well for his future. Hopefully, he can learn from his mistakes and start playing with a bit more respect.

Let us know what you think of Mac Jones, in the comments section down below.

Shannon Sharpe Reacts To JJ Watt’s Retirement

Shannon Sharpe was one of the best tight ends to ever play the game of football. If you love football, then Sharpe is someone you should respect. He changed the position forever, and overall, he is one of the legends of the game who is arguably top 3 or 5 at his position.

These days, Sharpe can be seen on FS1’s Undisputed where he sits across from Skip Bayless. While these two tend to bicker a lot, there is no doubt that they have some interesting debates. Today, however, they reflected on a current NFL star, JJ Watt.

This is all because Watt revealed that he was going to retire from football at the end of this season. In the tweet down below, you can see that Watt signaled that this weekend was his last ever NFL home game. Overall, it was a shocking admission, although one that is highly respected.

Shannon Sharpe Pays Homage

Sharpe is someone who understands just how hard it is to retire. As a result, he respects Watt wanting to call it quits for his family. Additionally, Sharpe noted just how amazing Watt was and how he will likely go to the Hall of Fame one day.

“You can make the case he was the best player in football for some time. An impeccable career. I don’t think anybody saw THIS. Obviously, he’s going to Canton,” Sharpe stated.

Watt will certainly be going to the Hall of Fame, and it is likely he will be first-ballot. After all, he won three Defensive Player of the Year awards, and as Sharpe said, he was the league’s best player at one point. Hopefully, the Hall of Fame committee feels the same way.

Let us know what you think of Watt’s career, in the comments section down below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news from around the NFL.

JJ Watt Reveals His Plans To Retire

JJ Watt has consistently been one of the best defensive players in the entire league. During his time with the Houston Texans, Watt was known for his MVP-level play and incredible tipped passes at the line of scrimmage. Furthermore, Watt has been known as an amazing teammate who is always there to help people.

One can just look at his charity work in Texas when that horrific hurricane hit a few years ago. Watt was able to raise millions of dollars, and he became a hero in the community. Overall, there is no doubt that Watt is an amazing guy who is beloved by all.

JJ Watt Surprises Fans

Over the last couple of seasons, Watt has been playing for the Arizona Cardinals. Unfortunately, his time with the Cardinals hasn’t been exceptional. Regardless, the fanbase loves him as he has continuously been one of the best professionals you could ever ask for.

Today, however, Watt threw fans for a loop when he revealed that this is going to be the final year of his career. “Koa’s first ever NFL game. My last ever NFL home game,” Watt wrote. “My heart is filled with nothing but love and gratitude. It’s been an absolute honor and a pleasure.”

Needless to say, Watt is making it clear that he will not be playing in the NFL past 2023. This is definitely a sad day for NFL fans as it brings in the end of an era. In the tweets below, you can see just how much respect Watt commanded during his time in the league.

Watt is making this decision for his family, and you can’t blame him. The longer you play in the NFL, the worse your quality of life is long-term. That said, Watt is making sure he will be there for his wife and child.

Let us know what you think about this decision, in the comments below.

Tom Brady Speaks On Looming Retirement Decision

Tom Brady has some massive decisions to make this off-season. Of course, last year, he decided to announce his retirement from football. However, just a month later, he decided to come out of retirement for one more season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Overall, this wasn’t exactly his best decision as the Bucs stand at a record of 7-8. Still, the Buccaneers are in a playoff spot and they are staring down a matchup against the Dallas Cowboys. If Brady can turn things around and win it all, then it will be his most unlikely Super Bowl run to date.

During the most recent episode of his famous Let’s Go podcast, Brady was asked about making the retirement decision. As Brady explained, it isn’t something that is truly on his mind right now. Instead, he is thinking about finishing out this season and getting the best possible result. However, he did note that once he decides to retire, that’s it this time.

“I think what I really realized … was you’ve got to be really sure to do that,” Brady said. “And for me, you know, a lot of people have kind of gone through this situation. I’m going to take my time whenever that time does come.”

10. Max Verstappen’s Formula 1 Season

Yes, that’s right, the first spot on our list goes to Max Verstappen. This season, Verstappen won his second-straight Formula 1 title. Additionally, he broke the record for most wins in a season with 15. Sure, there were more races than ever before, however, he showed everyone why he’s a legend in the making. This was a historic campaign that will be celebrated for years to come.

9. Houston Astros World Series

At this point, the Houston Astros are a hated franchise, and for good reason. They are known for their cheating scandal that rocked Major League Baseball. Despite this, they were phenomenal this past season. Their performance against the Philadelphia Phillies was impressive, and their 106-win regular season was something to behold.

8. Georgia Bulldogs Defeat Alamaba For The Title

The Alabama Crimson Tide are one of the best dynasties in the history of college football. However, they weren’t good enough to defeat the Georgia Bulldogs for the National Championship. Georgia went 14-1 last season and even came through with a 33-18 victory in the final. Overall, it was a huge win for that program, and it’s a performance that will be remembered for a very long time. That 20-point fourth quarter is truly what sealed the deal.

7. Colorado Avalanche – 2022 Stanley Cup Playoffs

Sports Performances

The Colorado Avalanche have had an amazing team for a while now. Unfortunately, they were never able to put it all together in the playoffs. In 2022, however, that all changed as the Avalanche were dominant on their way to the Stanley Cup Final. Additionally, they defeated the reigning two-time champion Tampa Bay Lightning to win it all. This was one of the biggest triumphs of the year, and it needs to be highlighted.

6. Alex Pereira Defeats Israel Adesanya

Israel Adesanya came into his Middleweight title defense against Alex Pereira with a ton of confidence. After all, Izzy is one of the most entertaining fighters in all of the UFC. Although most fans predicted that he would win, Alex Pereira played spoiler. Anytime you win as an underdog, you have to be considered for a best sports performance list. These two will probably fight again soon, however, Adesanya better prepare himself.

5. Nikola Jokic Channels Wilt Chamberlain

Wilt Chamberlain’s stat lines were truly some of the most absurd we’ve ever seen. Since his time in the league, only a handful of players have been able to match him. Interestingly enough, Nikola Jokic did just that just a few days ago. The performance was so good that we had no choice but to include it here. Against the Charlotte Hornets, the man had 40 points, 27 rebounds, and 10 assists. That is wild by anyone’s standards. If you love basketball, then you have to appreciate this kind of greatness.

4.  Joe Burrow Carries Bengals To The Super Bowl

Joe Burrow’s run to the Super Bowl speaks for itself. His offensive line was non-existent and he still showed shades of Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, and Joe Montana. The Bengals have a fantastic defense and they deserve their credit. However, Burrow’s mental toughness helped turn the Bengals from underdogs into a real Super Bowl threat. During the big game, they were only a couple of minutes away from winning. While they didn’t get it done, Burrow will likely deliver that team a Super Bowl before he retires.

3. Leon Edwards Dethrones Kamaru Usman

The third-best sports performance on our list goes to none other than Leon Edwards. Edwards was able to dethrone Kamaru Usman for the Welterweight title. Coming into this match, fans thought Usman would coast his way to another belt. Unfortunately for him, it did not go down that way. Instead, Edwards hit Usman with a fifth-round knockout that sent shockwaves throughout the UFC. It was a huge moment for Edwards’ career, and fans loved every single second of it. We can only imagine what their rematch will look like.

2. Steph Curry NBA Finals

What more can be said about Steph Curry? He won his fourth NBA title this past year and he got his first NBA Finals MVP trophy. Overall, he carried that Warriors team, and making a list of sports performances without him on it would be criminal. He deserves this spot, and he would have been number one if not for the World Cup Final.

1. Kylian Mbappe & Lionel Messi World Cup Final

Sports performances

If you watched the World Cup Final, then you know that Kylian Mbappe and Lionel Messi stole the show. These were the superstars of their respective countries, and they showed up to play. While Argentina won it all, it was Mbappe who secured the golden boot with a hat trick in the final match. Additionally, Messi scored two goals to keep his team together. This was a back-and-forth tilt with France going down by 2 early. However, in just a couple of minutes, Mbappe scored two goals to tie it. From there, Extra Time and the subsequent Penalty Shootout gave us the best dramatics the World Cup has ever seen. If you love sports, you know that these two are deserving of the number one spot. We will remember this showdown for not just years, but decades to come.

Skip Bayless Debuts His Cowboys-Inspired Christmas Gift

Skip Bayless is one of the most polarizing people in the sports television world. Some people love him for his trolling, while others think he is the worst thing to happen to sports discourse. Overall, this has made him a huge money-maker for Fox Sports 1, and that is why he remains employed.

As many of you know, Skip is a huge fan of the Cowboys. This year, they have been having a solid season. On Christmas Eve, they defeated the Philadelphia Eagles in an incredibly entertaining matchup. Subsequently, Bayless was able to have the best Christmas ever.

Skip Bayless Celebrates

With Bayless feeling the Christmas cheer, he was able to have a good Sunday with his wife Ernestine. In the image down below, you can even see the sportscaster showcasing his new Dallas Cowboys poncho. Subsequently, we imagine he is going to wear this on the air whenever they win.

Today, Bayless was overjoyed while talking about his team. He noted that he thought the Cowboys played the perfect game, even if it was against the backup QB of the Eagles. Overall, Bayless is having the time of his life and he was ready for this moment.

“My Dallas Cowboys are going to have a very happy New Year. They made a statement that we are a potential Super Bowl team,” he said. “I give my Cowboys a 9 on the 1-10 impressive scale because there was no Jalen Hurts, but I do respect Gardner Minshew. I believe all told, this was their best game of the year.”

The Cowboys probably won’t win their division, however, they will be a threat in the postseason. If somehow they do win the title, then there is no stopping Bayless from being a complete menace.

Let us know what you think the Cowboys’ chances are, in the comments down below.

Bengals Plane Loses Engine Leading To Scary Scene

On Saturday, the Bengals came through with a huge win against the New England Patriots. This was a very important game for the Bengals to win as they are looking to take the top spot in the AFC North. Overall, Joe Burrow was solid while the defense made the Patriots look bad.

It was a nice early Christmas gift for the team. Since the game was on Christmas Eve, they were able to fly home that night and make it to their families in time for Christmas Day. Unfortunately, the entire country was gridlocked, and even NFL superstars couldn’t avoid potential disaster.

Bengals Flight Issues

According to reporter Lance McAlister, the Bengals were flying home out of Rhode Island when an engine failed. Subsequently, the team was forced to experience an emergency landing. This landing took place at JFK Airport in New York City.

Eventually, it was reported that the Bengals were able to get their second plane and make it home around midnight on Christmas. Overall, this is not the kind of situation you want to be in. However, everything turned out fine, which is definitely good to see.

For the Bengals, the goal moving forward will be to make it back to the Super Bowl. This team made it there last year against all odds. Now, they have a chance to go right back, which would be huge.

Stay tuned to HNHH as we will continue to bring you the latest news and updates from around the NFL world.

Willie McGinest Writes Lengthy Apology After Nightclub Fight

Subsequently, footage of the fight was released via TMZ. Furthermore, McGinest was arrested and charged with assault with a deadly weapon. It was a horrible look for the NFL Network analyst, who has since taken to Instagram with an apology letter.

Willie McGinest Speaks

Per McGinest:

“First and foremost, I want to offer my deepest apology for my lapse in judgment and behavior on December 9 at a restaurant in West Hollywood. To my family, community, friends, and youth I mentor, please know I feel horrible for my actions and take full responsibility.

[…]

Most of all, I am disappointed in myself, as I know this is an isolated incident and is not reflective of my faith, role as a father, life’s body of work, or the role model I’ve worked hard to become. It is personally devastating that decades of community service, youth engagement, mentoring, and professional development would become an afterthought in a single moment that should have never happened.”

McGinest’s former teammate Tom Brady actually reacted to the post with a heart emoji. Overall, many in the comments section reiterated the fact that McGinest is a good person. For them, this was just a bad moment that shouldn’t define him.

This is a developing story, so stay tuned to HNHH for all of the latest news and updates. Additionally, let us know what you think of this latest sports controversy, in the comments section.
