Shannon Sharpe Links Up With Deion Sanders

Shannon Sharpe and Deion Sanders are two men who have been criticized heavily as of late. This is because Sanders is currently in the midst of leaving an HBCU. Additionally, Sharpe has defended Sanders and even noted that an HBCU was never his first choice.

Overall, this discourse has divided people and following Sanders’ last game with Jackson State, the debate is still being had. Simply put, fans wish there was more respect for HBCUs. Sanders’ decision and Sharpe’s subsequent support have opened up a dialogue about what building up an HBCU football program should look like.

Shannon Sharpe x Coach Prime

With Sanders taking the head coaching job in Colorado, Shannon Sharpe made his way to Boulder recently. This was for a special episode of Club Shay Shay that we imagine will be dropping fairly soon. Overall, these two are incredibly interesting, and their conversation should be reflective of that.

While taking to Twitter, Sharpe noted that he visited Sanders for a special on-location episode. The two were happy to see each other, and we can only imagine the stories that were shared. Hopefully, this interview will bring some clarity about Sanders’ big decision.

With Sanders and Sharpe receiving heavy criticism, we’re sure there will be some strong reactions to his podcast. However, Sanders is someone who has received praise from his players, and we’re sure he has his reasons for leaving Mississippi. Either way, there is going to be a lot of chatter surrounding this meeting of the minds.

Former NFL star Willie McGinest is considered to be a legend within the New England Patriots organization. He got to play with the team for 11 years between 1994 and 2005. Additionally, he got to see the rise of Tom Brady, which led to three Super Bowl titles for McGinest.

Overall, he is one of the most respected players in the history of the franchise. The Patriots inducted him into their Hall of Fame, and he is always invited to alumni events. Furthermore, he has a job working with the NFL Network, where he provides his expert analysis.

Willie McGinest Arrested

Unfortunately, McGinest found himself in trouble with the law Monday as he was arrested by authorities. He later posted bond, however, he was charged with assault with a deadly weapon. According to TMZ, this all stems from an incident that took place at a nightclub in Los Angeles, on December 9th.

As you can see in the video below, McGinest and a group of friends can be seen beating up a man on camera. This beatdown took place at Delilah in West Hollywood. McGinest speaks with the man in question before punching him in the face. Throughout the melee, McGinest even beat the man over the head with a bottle.

Overall, it was a pretty nasty beatdown that is certainly going to turn some heads. However, it was revealed that the NFL Network has suspended McGinest until further notice. They even offered a statement, saying “Willie McGinest will not appear on NFL Network while we review the matter.”

Skip Bayless “Disgusted” By Cowboys Loss

Skip Bayless is one of the biggest Cowboys fans when it comes to analysts on TV. For years, he has tried to convince himself that any given year is the one in which they will go back to the Super Bowl. Overall, Skip has yet to be proven right, even when the team is having a good season.

Last night, the Cowboys broke the hearts of all of their fans, including Bayless. This is because the team blew a 17-point lead against the Jacksonville Jaguars. They ultimately lost the game in overtime, and it was truly embarrassing. There couldn’t have been a worse way for the team to lose that game.

Skip Bayless Reacts

Subsequently, Bayless had to talk about the game during this morning’s episode of Undisputed. Following a viral week, Bayless had to face Shannon Sharpe, who was ready with the Cowboys slander. Instead of arguing with Sharpe, Skip decided to agree with his co-host. Simply put, Bayless has had enough of this team’s underachieving ways.

“I was disgusted by much of what I saw. My Cowboys have been looking ahead to the Eagles since the game in Philly,” Bayless wrote. As Skip described, the Cowboys take on the league-leading Eagles on Saturday in Dallas. This is a huge game for the Cowboys, and it seems like that’s all they care about right now.

If you are a fan of the Cowboys, this is not good news heading into the postseason. They will have to start their campaign on the road, and it is likely they might play a team like the 49ers. If that’s the case, then “America’s Team” might be headed towards another early exit.

Let us know what you think of Bayless’ assessment, in the comments section below. Also, stay tuned to HNHH for more news from around the sports world.

Jakobi Meyers Ridiculed After Horrific Final Patriots Play

Jakobi Meyers and the New England Patriots were a trending topic on Twitter last night, for all of the wrong reasons. During their game against the Las Vegas Raiders, the Patriots had one last drive to try and win the game. The score was tied at 24, and if the Patriots just ran the clock out, they would go to overtime.

However, that is not what happened. Instead, Jakobi Meyers received a lateral that should have never been attempted. Meyers had nowhere to go, and instead of going out of bounds, he attempted to throw the ball back to quarterback Mac Jones. Eventually, the ball was intercepted by Chandler Jones, who scored the dumbest last-second game-winning touchdown we have ever seen.

Jakobi Meyers Apologizes

After the game, Meyers showed accountability for his poor decision. He had tears in his eyes, and he admitted that he was trying to be the hero. Overall, it was a sad moment for the player, who clearly understands that this could have professional ramifications.

Additionally, the internet was not particularly forgiving towards Meyers. Whenever a player makes a mistake like this, you can be sure that people are going to be cruel. Of course, that is exactly what happened in this particular instance. Regardless of his humility, he was always going to get roasted.

Down below, you can find a plethora of memes that make light of the situation. Overall, the memes are pretty brutal as they portray Meyers as the villain of the Patriots’ locker room. Moreover, there is this sense that Meyers could be kicked off the team by Bill Belichick, who is known for his no-nonsense attitude.

Meyers has been an effective player for the Patriots this season, although there is no doubt that this is a brutal development for him. Hopefully, the Pats keep him so he can redeem himself. After all, one play should not define an entire career.

Let us know what you thought of the play, in the comment down below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news from around the sports world.

Tom Brady Is “Likely” To Retire After This Season

Tom Brady is one of the greatest professional athletes of all time. While he wasn’t the most talented player at his sport, he certainly knew how to win. Winning is all that matters at the end of the day, and with seven Super Bowls, it is clear that he’s a legend.

However, Brady is now experiencing quite the fall-off. This season, he has not been good, although he still has a shot at the playoffs. Either way, fans are starting to think that it might be time for Brady to call it quits. After all, that’s what he was supposed to do last year.

Tom Brady Speculation Continues

With the Buccaneers having a less-than-stellar season, it is starting to look likely that Brady will end up retiring. He becomes a free agent in the offseason, and some have speculated that he would go to New England. Moreover, there have been some reporters claiming he will go to Miami.

Now, however, a report from Mike Jones of The Athletic claims that many insiders have him retiring from the sport… for good this time. For now, this is simply a belief that has not been backed up by anything Brady has said. In fact, Brady has made it seem as though he still has a couple of years left.

LeBron Gets New Birthday Gift

Recently, LeBron revealed that he got an early birthday gift that has everything to do with his favorite video game series. The gift came courtesy of his friend DJ Bamboozle, and he even posted about it on his Instagram story. As you will see, it was a very unique gift, indeed.

Basically, LeBron and DJ Bamboozle got to play Madden together in an empty SoFi Stadium. Additionally, their game was telecasted onto the big screen that hangs above the stadium. This made it infinitely cooler, and you can tell that LeBron was very impressed.

LeBron’s birthday is actually on December 30th. However, this was clearly the best time for the two to link up. Overall, it looked like a very fun evening and a great way for LeBron to kick off his upcoming 38th birthday celebration. Over the coming weeks, he will be very busy with his NBA duties, and this was a cool way to kick back, relax, and have some fun.

Despite his age, James is still playing at an extraordinarily high level. He has shown himself to be one of the best players to ever step on the court, and that is not going to change. If he keeps playing how he has been, there is no doubt he will beat the scoring record soon.

Rob Gronkowski and Tom Brady were fantastic teammates with the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Together, they were able to win four Super Bowl titles, and are even considered the best QB/TE duo of all time. Although Gronk is now retired, they definitely still think about one another.

Brady is still playing, however, it is clear that his playing days are nearing an end. When they do come to a close, he will have a massive nine-figure deal waiting for him at Fox Sports. No one knows how Brady will do on TV, although Gronk seems to have an idea.

Rob Gronkowski Speaks

According to TMZ, Gronkowski was recently approached by paparazzi, who asked him about Brady’s TV deal. That’s when Gronk noted that he thinks Brady is cut it out for the booth. Overall, he has great football knowledge and is extremely charismatic.

“Tom’s gonna kill it,” Gronk said. “He knows football like no other. He can break down any player at any time. He’ll just present it to the screen, showing the strength and weaknesses. He can talk football like no other.”

Shannon Sharpe Seemingly Has A Message For Skip Bayless

Shannon Sharpe is one of those former NFL players that commands respect. While many know him for his work on TV, there is a whole generation that grew up with him as a superstar for the Denver Broncos. Overall, he revolutionized the tight end position for the better.

Furthermore, Shannon is a Hall-of-Famer. He certainly deserves to be there given the fact that he set numerous records as a tight end. Some of these records are still holding strong today. Needless to say, any disrespect for the man is misplaced.

Unfortunately, Sharpe’s co-host Skip Bayless needs an obvious history lesson. On Monday’s episode of Undisputed, Bayless told Sharpe that he is jealous of Tom Brady. Moreover, he told Sharpe that Brady was “way better” than him, simply because Sharpe was criticizing Brady.

Shannon Sharpe Responds?

For the most part, Sharpe has avoided directly speaking on the situation. He has liked tweets that compliment him, however, he won’t actually say anything about Skip. Today, however, he did seem to make it clear that he wants Bayless to understand just how good he was.

In the tweet below, you can see Shannon replying to someone who posted some of Sharpe’s best highlights. The fan said, “It’s cool Unc, since Skip forgot, let’s remind our viewing audience.” Sharpe kept his reply brief, saying “Y’all know. EVERYONE SHOULD.”

Sure, it wasn’t a direct callout to Skip, but it is easily the closest thing we have seen to one since this incident went down. Overall, Sharpe’s frustration is palpable, although it is definitely justified.

Moving forward, Skip needs to look at these clips and then look at himself in the mirror. He clearly made a massive mistake, and he will have to be better in order to avoid future conflict.

Deshaun Watson Reacts To His Slow Start

Deshaun Watson and the Cleveland Browns were always destined to have a rocky go of things. The circumstances surrounding his signing were dubious, to say the least. Following numerous sexual assault accusations, Watson was signed to a massive contract with the most guaranteed money ever.

Overall, it was a shocking deal, especially since Watson’s legal problems were still ongoing. Regardless, the Browns made their decision and lived with the consequences. Subsequently, Watson was hit with a massive 11-game suspension, and he was only able to return to action two weekends ago.

Deshaun Watson Speaks

If you’ve been watching Watson as of late, you know that he has struggled a bit since returning to action. Of course, this was to be expected, however, some fans are certainly excited about his issues. He’s not liked right now, and other fanbases are looking for any reason to rejoice.

His record is currently 1-1, and he has two interceptions as well as just one touchdown. Furthermore, the one time he did win, it was all because of special teams and Brown’s defense. As one can imagine, Watson is aware of his issues, and recently spoke about his start with 92.3 The Fan in Cleveland.

“I’m not close,” Watson said when asked about achieving his potential. “I want to be better. I’m nowhere near where I want to be and this team is nowhere near where we want to be.”

This weekend, Watson and the Browns will face a huge challenge in the Baltimore Ravens. It won’t be easy, however, the team needs to get into a rhythm. While their playoff hopes are pretty well out of the question this year, they can still build some chemistry for 2023.

Shaq Speaks On Potentially Getting In On NBA & NFL Ownership

Shaq is certainly one of the richest men in the sports world. Overall, he is an incredible businessman who has plenty of investments out there. He has completely dominated the advertisement space, and if there is something he can attach his name to, you know he’s going to do it.

Over the years, Shaq has become one of the most recognizable spokesmen, and it only makes sense that this would translate to ownership. Consequently, there have been various talks about Shaq owning a sports franchise. Whether that be the Phoenix Suns or another squad, the former big man has shown interest in diversifying his portfolio.

Shaq Talks With TMZ

Recently, Shaq spoke on TMZ about both NBA and NFL ownership. The Suns and Washington Commanders are two teams that are up for sale. Subsequently, they are both being pursued by Jeff Bezos. However, Bezos needs partners, and the four-time NBA champ could certainly fit the bill.

“I haven’t had any discussions with my partners, so I can’t make the statement yet, but we’re still looking to be heavily involved in purchasing an NBA team,” Shaq said. As for Football, this is what he had to say:

“Yeah, but this time around when I purchase a team, I want to be heavily involved. I would like it to be in a place where I’m living at. If it ain’t the Dolphins, the Cowboys, or the Raiders, and those teams are way too expensive for me, but my main man JB can write that check!”

Ownership of any kind takes a lot of time, money, and effort. It would be hard for Shaq to manage, however, he certainly seems keen on making it happen. Hopefully, we get to see it soon.
