Jeezy Is Feeling “Invincible” Amid Jeannie Mai’s Domestic Violence Allegations

Last week, court documents obtained by The Shade Room revealed new allegations made by Jeezy’s estranged wife, Jeannie Mai. The two are currently in the midst of an “increasingly contentious” divorce according to reports, and have been making headlines for legal filings concerning their custody arrangement. In the docs, Mai alleged that the rapper previously pushed her down a staircase, struck her in the face, and more. She additionally accused him of leaving their infant daughter around an AK-47, putting her at risk of serious injuries.

Jeezy has since denied the allegations and provided text messages that allegedly point to Mai’s claims being fabricated. She had provided photos of injuries she alleged were inflicted by her ex, but the texts suggest they could have actually been obtained in a golf course accident. “The allegations are not only false, but also deeply disturbing, especially coming from someone I loved,” a statement from Jeezy reads in part. “It’s disheartening to witness the manipulation and deceit at play and at this time my main concern is being an active father to our daughter as I continue to fight for court-mandated joint custody.”

Breezy then went for the throat on “Weakest Link,” claiming that when Takeoff died in 2022, “everybody really wished it was [Quavo] instead.” He additionally rhymed about the 2021 surveillance footage of an alleged physical altercation between Quavo and Saweetie. Quavo responded once again with “Over H*es & B*tches,” name-dropping Rihanna and seemingly challenging him to a fight. The debacle has hip-hop fans everywhere weighing in, with many arguing that Brown came out on top.

Now, a new clip is making its rounds on social media of the crowd at a Quavo concert. The crowd looks shockingly small, especially considering the size of the venue. The attendee filming the video suggested that the former Migos member’s beef with Brown could be to blame, noting that Quavo was scheduled to hit the stage in only 30 minutes.

“Yo Chris Brown,” the cameraman says in the clip, panning to rows and rows of empty seats. “Are you serious bro? I know you’ve got something to do with this. According to his mother, however, he can see perfectly well. She took to her Instagram Story yesterday to address the rampant rumors, calling Jr. nothing short of “blessed.” The Baddies star fired back at those with mean things to say about him, reminding them that he’s only a child.

As the first full week of testimony wrapped up in the historic Donald Trump hush money trial, jurors were granted a three-day weekend to mull over what they had heard. After over 10 hours of detailed testimony across four days, David Pecker, the former chief of American Media Inc., concluded his time on the witness stand.

Pecker outlined how he assisted Trump in suppressing negative stories and attacking his rivals in the National Enquirer during the 2016 campaign. Upcoming testimonies from Stormy Daniels and Michael Cohen are heavily anticipated.

Friday afternoon, the prosecution called Rhona Graff, Trump’s longtime assistant at the Trump Organization, followed by a banker for Cohen, indicating a shift towards the pivotal documents central to the charges against Trump.

The courtroom drama unfolded with more of the alleged scandalous affair, where the focus shifted to 34 counts of falsified business records. T-Pain Is Making Another “On Top Of The Covers” Album

T-Pain has announced that a sequel to his On Top of the Covers album is on the way. He confirmed the project while performing at the Stagecoach Festival as a surprise guest during Jelly Roll‘s set on Friday. On stage, he performed “All I Do Is Win” and “Buy U A Drank,” as well as a cover of “Should’ve Been a Cowboy” by the late Toby Keith.

After Jelly Roll praised the original album and revealed it’s what inspired him to invite T-Pain on stage, the rapper revealed that part 2 would be coming “real soon” and advised fans to “get ready for that.” He dropped the first album back in March of last year. It featured covers of Black Sabbath, Journey, Sam Cooke, and more.

He previously revealed that he began working on the covers album years beforehand after winning The Masked Singer in 2019. “This covers album has been years in the making. I started recording this right after I won The Masked Singer,” he told Rolling Stone in 2023. “It got put on hold for a bit but now that I’m independent, I’m able to do whatever I want to do through Nappy Boy Entertainment and this is something I’ve felt strongly about for a long time. These songs are not what you’d expect when you hear that T-Pain is doing a covers album and that is what I think is cool about it.”

Harvey Weinstein Hospitalized After Overturning Of Rape Conviction: “He’s Somewhat Of A Train Wreck Health Wise”

Harvey Weinstein has reportedly been hospitalized after being examined by doctors upon his arrival at Rikers Island in New York City on Friday. His transport comes after the overturning of his 2020 rape conviction in an appeals court on Thursday. The film industry mogul’s attorney, Arthur Aidala, confirmed that his client is undergoing testing at Bellevue Hospital in Manhattan.

“They examined him and sent him to Bellevue. It seems like he needs a lot of help, physically. He’s got a lot of problems, he’s getting all kinds of tests. He’s somewhat of a train wreck health wise,” Aidala said, as noted by the Associated Press. He also claimed that Weinstein is still as strong as ever mentally. Aidala further explained that it can take state corrections and prisons officials up to two weeks to transport a prisoner. “He was not treated well. They refused to give him even a sip of water, no food, no bathroom break,” he said. “He’s a 72-year-old sickly man.”

A judge previously sentenced Weinstein to 23 years in prison after the initial trial. Following the court’s decision on Thursday, however, he will now get a chance at a new trial. He and his legal team argued that the original trial permitted jurors to hear too much evidence not directly related to the specific charges for which he was on trial. Emily Tuttle, a spokesperson for Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, told Reuters: “We will do everything in our power to retry this case and remain steadfast in our commitment to survivors of sexual assault.”
