DaBaby’s Lawyer Slams DaniLeigh’s Brother’s Bowling Alley Brawl Lawsuit

DaBaby is firing back at a lawsuit from DaniLeigh’s brother.

The rapper’s lawyer says Brandon Bills has no grounds to sue his client following their bowling alley brawl last week.

Drew Findling claims that it was Bills who first made threats when he said he wanted to “knock out” DaBaby if they ever got in the boxing ring.

“It is offensive that this alleged victim threatened and instigated violence and has now used this incident to make a quick money grab,” Findling tells TMZ.

DaBaby is being investigated for assault with a deadly weapon, but Findling believes that the criminal investigation should be dismissed because Bills’ decision to file a civil lawsuit is a clear indication that he is only interested in a payday.

“Garbage like this has no place adding to the backlog and wasting law enforcement time and energy,” adds Findling.

During the altercation, which was caught on camera, DaBaby and Bills exchanged words before DaBaby appears to take the first swing, knocking Bills to the ground. Their fight spilled over onto the slippery lanes of the bowling alley, but Bills was outnumbered by DaBaby and his crew.

Bills says he experienced physical and psychological damage as a result of the beatdown, and also incurred medical bills and sustained disability. DaBaby has claimed he acted in self-defense and has been banned from the bowling alley.

After the brawl, DaniLeigh, who shares a daughter with DaBaby, called her baby daddy “lame as hell” for attacking her brother. “I PRAY THIS STOPS NOW !!! BC THIS IS MY FAMILY! AND I GOT A DAUGHTER TO RAISE,” she wrote.

Kanye West Reveals ‘DONDA 2’ Tracklist, Says Album Won’t Be On Streaming Services

The countdown is on to DONDA 2.

With just five days until the 2-22-22 drop date, Ye has unveiled the tentative tracklist for the sequel to his Grammy-nominated album.

The 21 tracks, which were handwritten on a piece of paper, include titles like “Pablo,” “Sci-Fi,” “We Did It Kid,” “Mr. Miyagi,” and “Candyland.” No features are listed, but he has been in the studio with artists including Moneybagg Yo, A$AP Rocky, French Montana, The Game, Big Sean, and Pusha T.

Ye has also announced that the album won’t be available on streaming services including Apple, Spotify, Amazon, or YouTube. Instead, he plans to release it through his own Stem Player. Each device, manufactured by Yeezy Tech and Kano Computing, costs $200 and plays four different elements of the track—vocals, drums, bass, and music. So far, 67,000 units have been produced and 3,000 are being made daily.

“Donda 2 will only be available on my own platform, the Stem Player. Not on Apple Amazon Spotify or YouTube,” said Ye. “Today artists get just 12% of the money the industry makes. It’s time to free music from this oppressive system. It’s time to take control and build our own.”

He also revealed that he turned down a nine-figure deal from Apple Music. “After 10 albums after being under 10 contracts. I turned down a hundred million dollar Apple deal,” he said. “No one can pay me to be disrespected. We set our own price for our art. Tech companies made music practically free so if you don’t do merch sneakers and tours you don’t eat.”

He continued, “Jay Z made Tidal and fake media attacked him. Well in the words of my big brother. Come and get me. I’m willing to die standing cause I ain’t living on my knees no more. God please cover me. I run this company 100% I don’t have to ask for permission. This is our 2nd generation stemplayer We have more things we working on. I feel like how I felt in the first episode of the documentary.”

On Tuesday, he will celebrate the album’s release by hosting his DONDA Experience concert at LoanDepot Park in Miami.
