Nicki Minaj is certainly no stranger to beefing with other artists, but now, some think she’s even cut off some of her former friends. Earlier today, social media users noticed that she unfollowed both Ice Spice and JT on Instagram. For those who don’t recall, she teamed up with Ice Spice for not one but two tracks last year, “Princess Diana” and “Barbie World.”

In May, Ice Spice’s former friend leaked a few of her text messages, in which she described Nicki as “ungrateful and delusional.” Nicki has yet to address this debacle, though Ice Spice did in her Rolling Stone interview last month. “We don’t have the closest relationship, you know? But we’re definitely good,” she said at the time, explaining that she only sent the texts out of frustration.

Nicki Minaj Sparks Speculation With Latest Instagram Activity

As for JT, Nicki had a history with the City Girls but appeared to squash the beef for good a few years ago. The “FTCU” rapper even brought JT out for her Pink Friday 2 world tour stop in Boston in April. It appeared as though all was well between the two of them until last month when some social media users think she shaded JT during a Stationhead rant. This is unconfirmed, though Nicki’s latest Instagram activity appears to back this theory up.

Of course, all of this is still pure speculation, and it’s also possible that Nicki’s unfollows didn’t mean anything at all. The Barbz aren’t convinced, however, and think there must be tea brewing under the surface. Only time will tell whether or not Nicki meant this as a statement, or if she’ll ever address it publicly. Dame Dash Trolls JAY-Z Over His “Deep” Pockets Amid Roc-A-Fella Records Drama

Dame Dash went after JAY-Z during a rant on his Instagram page on Tuesday, after his Roc-A-Fella co-founder filed a notice that the rights to his 1996 album Reasonable Doubt will switch from the company to his possession in 2031. Dame has been attempting to sell his stake in Roc-A-Fella shares to cover a judgment regarding copyright infringement and defamation owed to movie producer Josh Weber.

“I don’t expect anyone, just some average person, to come buy it — or a third of it, my third. I don’t wanna get sued again,” he said. “I know, for some reason, nobody wants me to sell it, but I’m ready to just move on, do my thing. I had a lawsuit, I had a judgement, and I’m like, ‘Yo, that’s 800 grand. Go get it from over there. They not paying me neither!’ So, they went and did the work for me [to] paid that debt and I’ll be able to sell it. It all worked out for me. I’m sure there’s a little twist they put on things. I don’t know why. I do know why, but I don’t know why. I don’t know why about one thing, but I do know why about the other.”

Dame Dash Celebrates His Birthday With JAY-Z

From there, he set his sights on JAY-Z. “They had some bum-ass board meeting and all of a sudden he gets first right of refusal. I don’t really care. Today, Janet Jackson officially announced her upcoming Las Vegas residency at Resorts World Theatre. The 10-show run is scheduled to kick off on December 30 and wrap up just after Valentine’s Day 2025. Tickets will be available for purchase starting on August 28, and for obvious reasons, fans can’t wait.

“Janet Jackson is undoubtedly one of the biggest names in pop music,” Bobby Reynolds, senior vice president of AEG Presents Las Vegas, says of the announcement. “We could not be more thrilled to close out 2024 with her return to the Las Vegas Strip and her venue debut at our award-winning Resorts World Theatre, and to kick off 2025 with a run of sure-to-be-unforgettable shows. This is a residency fans won’t want to miss.”

Janet Jackson Reportedly Earning $13 Million For 10-Show Vegas Residency

Amid the exciting news, The Jasmine Brand reports that Jackson has signed a $13 million deal for the residency. Sources add that she was “jumping for joy,” and that she’s looking forward to her “fresh and dynamic” performances. Of course, this is no small payday, though some social media users argue that she deserved more. This is up for debate, but reportedly, it “blew the London residency offer out of the water.”

Jackson took to Instagram earlier today to celebrate the exciting news, sharing a heartfelt message with her supporters. “We’re so excited to announce our new residency at Resorts World Las Vegas launching New Year’s week! DaBaby Could Owe DaniLeigh’s Brother A Massive Check For Bowling Alley Fight

Back in February of 2022, DaBaby and his ex-girlfriend DaniLeigh’s brother Brandon Bills got into a heated brawl at a bowling alley. Shortly after, Bills filed a lawsuit against the rapper, accusing him of attacking him for no reason. He alleged that he suffered both mentally and physically as a result of the encounter. Early on, it was unclear exactly how much he was seeking in damages.

Now, however, In Touch Weekly has reportedly gotten ahold of this number via court documents. According to them, Bills is seeking $2 million in damages and another $2 million in special damages. The outlet adds that he’s claiming to have “severe injuries, psychological damage, and medical bills.”

This new detail arrives amid reports that Bills has struggled to serve DaBaby with the lawsuit. In April, it was even revealed that Bills asked the court for permission to take out an ad in a local newspaper to inform the rapper of the suit. He’s been trying to serve him with it since July of 2023. In Touch Weekly‘s latest update claims that a judge has signed off on the request. This means that he’s now free to do so.

Bills’ lawsuit isn’t the only legal issue DaBaby’s dealing with these days, however. Last month, he also accepted a plea deal in a 2020 assault case. He’s accused of attacking a 65-year-old man, whose home he rented for a music video, after being confronted for having too many people there. In doing so, he explained why he feels Lamar won the beef, which prompted the WWE legend to reveal he hasn’t listened to hip-hop in many years. “I know nothing about this,” Cena admitted. “All I know is the headlines. I’m the one person, the one breathing human being who did not hear bar one of this beef. I haven’t heard any music, any tracks, nothing, so this is all new to me. Who won?”

Sharpe began by bringing up Lamar’s diss track, “Not Like Us.” “They play it all the time,” he said. “There’s not gonna be a football game, a basketball game, or anything that you go to where the home team is winning where you’re not gonna hear, ‘They’re not like us.’ Kendrick won.
