The buyer of Kanye West’s infamous Malibu mansion, which he recently sold for around $21 million, has been revealed to be Belwood Investments, a “real estate crowdfunding firm” that’s been in operation since 2018. In a press release the company put out, they confirmed plans to put $5 million in renovations into the home “to restore the property to its original state.”
“We are incredibly excited about the acquisition of this property,” Belmont said. “This is not just a phenomenal real estate investment; it is an opportunity to revitalize and preserve an architectural gem by the renowned Tadao Ando, ensuring it remains a jewel of Malibu. This acquisition exemplifies Belwood Investments’ commitment to transforming properties with historical and architectural significance while delivering exceptional returns for our investors.”

Kanye West & Ty Dolla Sign Perform At Rolling Loud In Los Angeles
The release added that: “Restoration will honor the unique materials and innovative design elements specified by Ando, many of which were imported from around the world… The renovation process is anticipated to take 12-16 months.” It also noted that: “Richard Sachs, the original owner, aptly described it: ‘This is not just a house; this is like a Picasso, a cubist painting, very important and very rare.’” The company never made mention of Kanye West’s ownership.
West caused controversy regarding the property by stripping it, despite the rarity of Ando residences. The New York Post previously reported that he described it to a worker as his “bomb shelter” and “Batcave.” He removed tubs, light fixtures, windows, heating, air conditioning, and more. About seven days ago, Nicki Minaj decided to drop a bombshell on X. “PF2 #GagCityReloaded – the album”. That simple announcement was enough to rile up the entire legion of Barbz, as this sort of came out of nowhere. Apparently, her revealing the Gag City Reloaded tour was step one of the plans because now we are getting new music to accompany this new leg of her massive Pink Friday 2 trek. Then, phase three would occur in the evening of the aforementioned tweet. Nicki Minaj hopped on a 45-minute Instagram Live to talk about this new deluxe edition, and tease some collaborations in the process.
However, at the time, she was not able to give any sort of concrete details about this third bonus version. “I will be doing a deluxe version of Pink Friday 2. It will be called Pink Friday 2 Gag City Reloaded. It’s going to be out soon. Do I have the exact dates for you? No. Is it coming out this week? No. But it’s coming”. Then, yesterday, part four of the rollout would see Nicki Minaj hype up a track that she claims will be the Barbz “favorite song on the deluxe”.

J Prince called out Fulton County Deputy District Attorney Simone Hylton as well as Lil Woody while sharing a clip from the YSL RICO trial on Instagram on Monday night. In the video, Hylton asked Woody whether he recalled comparing Young Thug to J Prince. The witness claimed he didn’t know who that actually was and brought up his previous admission about lying to police about the rapper back in 2015. “I told you for the 10th time,” he stated, as caught by AllHipHop. “I’m gonna tell the police anything, and that’s what I did.”
“Nothing surprises me anymore when it comes to fake-ass people putting my name in their mouth,” Prince captioned his post. “But I still find it very interesting how some prosecutors will go above and beyond the call of duty to try and destroy a man’s life for being inspired by a successful Black entrepreneur like myself. Either way, it’s more likely than not that, whenever Kendrick does return with new music, he won’t really have much of a reason or desire to rehash anything about his Drake beef. The battle is over, and he can easily stick to his victory for now. What’s more is that fans believe this thanks to a recent tweet from K.Dot’s childhood friend Lil L, also known as Euro Luxxk. “Nah we leaving the Canadian alone everybody just working at this moment so just stay tune[d],” he responded to a fan on Sunday (August 25).
Furthermore, this is especially interesting because of what Drake has to say about all this. His new “100 GIGS” drops referenced his feud with a lot of rappers this year quite often, and he even posted and deleted an Instagram Story that proclaimed he will “win Game 2.” As such, there’s a chance that the 6ix God wants to take Kendrick Lamar down and boast about his success and status despite Kendrick’s attempts to obliterate him. Still, this could also just be a flex to his many haters and rap game opps, not an actual indication that he wants revenge of some sort.

Then again, we won’t really know until it happens, will we? As such, a lot of Kendrick Lamar and Drake fans wouldn’t want either of them to beat a dead horse.

Many of his die-hards point to these facts as reasons why he probably won’t re-engage in the Drake beef, at least outright. We wouldn’t rule out a celebratory or subliminally general bar or two, and it will be hard to hear Mr. Morale’s boastful rap game lyrics without thinking of his Toronto rival. Lil Baby was arrested in Las Vegas, Nevada on Monday, according to a new report from TMZ. Overall, the artist was arrested for allegedly carrying a concealed weapon. While this in and of itself does not warrant an arrest, he was allegedly doing so without a permit, which is, in fact, illegal. The artist was subsequently taken to the Clark County Detention Center. His bail was set at $5000 and as it stands, it is unknown whether or not he was released yet or not.
The artist is one of the biggest names in hip-hop right now. Ever since 2018, Lil Baby has been on a magical run that has included chart-topping albums, some truly massive singles, and a feature run that is more than impressive. In recent years, some fans have made complaints about his growth, although his last few efforts have gotten him back into the good graces of fans. Hopefully, he will be able to keep that momentum up.
