Tokyo Toni Unveils Karlissa Saffold Diss Track Amid Beef

Unfortunately, tensions between Blueface’s mother Karlissa Saffold and Blac Chyna’s mother Tokyo Toni only continue to rise. Last week, Saffold took to her Instagram Story to put Tokyo on blast, claiming that she might have changed her mind about their beef after realizing how she gets down. “Lil @misstokyotoni ain’t want no smoke after she realized I ain’t no joke,” she wrote. “I’m @olsokcy @kaliwae & @bluefasebabyy mamma. You couldn’t have possibly thought because I’m an actress, I’m punk. They get it from they mammy.” 

This prompted a response from Tokyo, who recently went live to tear into the personality. She didn’t hold back, making it clear that Saffold “don’t want none.” She cited Saffold’s relationship with Blueface during her rant, claiming that while sons are typically protective of their mothers, hers consistently puts her on blast online.

Tokyo Toni Blasts Karlissa Saffold During IG Live

She went on, claiming that Saffold pushed her children to be entertainers because she wished she herself could do that for a living. “You wanted to get on that stage when you were young and it didn’t work, did it?” she said. “Girl I had my turn.” Tokyo was far from done with Saffold, however. She went on to perform a diss track about her, again taking shots at her background, family life, and more.

In the diss track, she tells Blueface that his mother is a “nothing a**, dirty a**, trifling a**, wh*re a** b*tch.” Clearly, Saffold’s comments have Tokyo feeling some kind of way. It’s unclear whether or not she plans to respond with her own diss track.

Keke Palmer Responds To Taraji P. Henson’s Comments On Quitting Acting

Keke Palmer expanded on Taraji P. Henson’s recent comments on considering quitting acting by discussing how she works multiple jobs to keep afloat. Henson broke down into tears while discussing how much she puts into her performances compared to what she’s paid with Gayle King on her SiriusXM show. Palmer says she can’t just be an actor and must also be an influencer, host, public speaker, and more.

“The entertainment industry is just like any other industry,” she wrote on Instagram. “We run businesses to keep our brands afloat, us being the brand/business. And it’s that team of company members that decrease any assumed large lump sum. This includes monthly expenses just like everyone else. In the words of biggie ‘more money more problems.’”

We ALL work multiple jobs and we may like some but also because we HAVE to. Former NBA G-League Player Chance Comanche Admits To Murder

Chance Comanche has recently made a shocking confession. The former NBA G-League basketball player has admitted to strangling his victim. 

A Harrowing Confession

In a disturbing turn of events,  Chance Comanche has confessed to the murder of Marayna Rodgers, revealing chilling details of the crime. Las Vegas police have accused Comanche and his 19-year-old girlfriend, Sakari Harnden, of meticulously planning and carrying out the murder. 

The plot began to take shape on Nov. 30, as revealed by text messages and group chats obtained by authorities.

According to FOX 5 Vegas, Comanche had initially tried to involve a friend in the murder plot, but the friend refused. Undeterred, Comanche and Harnden devised a plan to lure Rodgers into a “kinky sex” trap. 

Comanche convinced Rodgers to meet him, promising a payment of $1,000. Once in the car, Rodgers had her hands zip-tied, unaware of her danger.

More Shocking Details

Comanche said he and Harnden dated more than a year ago and broke up but remained friendly, according to the documents. The report said Comanche told authorities Harden was having problems with Rodgers and claimed the woman was going to “smoke” Harnden over a Rolex watch, and that was when they began their plot to kill her. 

The former basketball player informed investigators that their motive for the murder was Harnden’s alleged issues with Rodgers, including a dispute over a Rolex watch. The couple drove Rodgers to a secluded area, where Comanche proceeded to wrap an HDMI cord around her neck. 

Upon hearing Rodgers struggle to breathe, Comanche stopped, and Harnden allegedly took over and choked her to death. The pair later dumped Rodgers’ body in Henderson, concealing it with rocks.

Comanche In Custody

Users on Twitter (X) reacted to Comanche’s confession. One user named @SpoonOfZeke commented, “Never thought I would see a death by HDMI cord.”  Another user named @Qurandale commented, “This gotta be the most insane s*it I’ve ever seen dawg.” 

Comanche’s arrest came shortly after his release from the Stockton Kings basketball team. He was apprehended by the FBI on Dec. 15, two days after Harnden’s arrest. Comanche is in custody without bail in California, awaiting further legal proceedings.

Former Basketball Player & Girlfriend Charged With Open Murder In Las Vegas Killing

Chance Comanche, a former basketball player, and his girlfriend, Sakari Harnden, are facing an open murder charge. The charge is in connection with the kidnapping and killing of a missing woman in Las Vegas.

Police Pursue Murder Charges

Chance Comanche, who formerly played for the NBA G-League’s Stockton Kings, and his girlfriend, Sakari Harnden, were arrested on Dec. 13 and charged with kidnapping Harnden’s friend, Marayna Rodgers. 

Rodgers, who was visiting Las Vegas from Washington state, was reported missing on Dec. 7, two days after she was last seen with friends and had arranged to meet with Harnden and Comanche, according to police. Police began pursuing murder charges against the couple after Rodgers’ remains were discovered, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said in a news release on Dec. 17.

Rodgers’ Body Found

The investigation took a grim turn when police discovered Rodgers’ remains in a desert area of Henderson, about 20 miles southeast of Las Vegas. Detectives determined that both Harnden and Comanche were responsible for the murder of Rodgers. 

While Harnden has been charged with murder, theft, and kidnapping, Comanche is currently awaiting extradition to Nevada and has not yet been charged with murder, although police stated that both suspects’ charges would be amended to open murder.

Fans Speculate

The arrest of Comanche and Harnden has generated a strong reaction on social media. 

One user with the handle @BrownStallone commented, “Way to throw your life away. Missed golden opportunity.” Another user named @Curve_Fu_Master expressed their disbelief, stating, “It’s really crazy how these athletes really be living double lives.”

No murder charge has been filed against Comanche, according to court records, but police said Sunday that both suspects’ charges would be “amended to open murder through coordination with the Clark County District Attorney’s office.”

Comanche was arrested by FBI personnel on Dec. 15 in Sacramento, California, and is awaiting extradition to Nevada, according to police.

Tragedy Strikes Lagos Influencer

This case is reminiscent of another tragic murder, as seen in the death of Nigerian influencer Augusta Osedion, also known as Austa XXO. In July 2023, her boyfriend Benjamin Best confessed to killing her through a series of Instagram posts after Osedion was found dead in a pool of blood.

Ice Cube’s “It Was A Good Day” Becomes His First Song To Hit 1 Billion Spotify Streams

Ice Cube has officially joined the pantheon of rappers with a track that’s been streamed more than 1 billion times on Spotify. The previously ultra-rare achievement is becoming more and more common the longer the service is around. Some major artists like Drake and Ed Sheeran have racked up numerous such tracks. Now other artists are joining the fray with hits both new and old hitting 1 billion every day.

The most recent addition to the bunch is Ice Cube. The veteran rapper just netted his first-ever song to reach the 1 billion mark and it’s probably the track you’d expect. His biggest Hot 100 hit ever and one of the biggest songs of his career “It Was A Good Day” also became his first to surpass 1 billion streams. The achievement is especially impressive given how old the song is. The vast majority of billion-stream songs were released in recent years while Spotify was already an active platform. But a number of major hits from the 80s and 90s have reached the milestone in recent years.

Ice Cube Joins The 1 Billion Spotify Streams Club

Last month, Ice Cube had an NBA award named after him. The basketball league officially announced an Impact Award named after the rapper. The award is meant to honor the rapper’s  “extraordinary contributions to the world of basketball, his unparalleled passion for the game, and his unwavering commitment to encouraging crucial dialogues surrounding inclusivity, equal opportunity, and racial and social justice while contributing to initiatives focused on education and community development.”

Some, including Ice Cube himself, see the gesture as an attempt to appease him. Cube is affiliated with the BIG3 basketball league. He’s suggested on numerous occasions that the NBA is trying to kill the league in an effort to squeeze out competition. NLE Choppa Mistaken For Chris Brown By Walmart Employee: Watch

NLE Choppa recently unveiled a YouTube video of him and some friends going “ghetto Christmas caroling” in public. The video shows them dressed in robes, performing rap songs in Sephora, an Apple store, and more. They even stopped by Walmart for an impromptu performance of Drake, Sexyy Red, and SZA’s hit, “Rich Baby Daddy.”

Various confused shoppers looked on as they performed, one of them being an employee. She appeared to be feeling the unexpected show, however, she wasn’t exactly sure who she was watching. “Chris!” she shouted, “I love you Chris Brown!” NLE Choppa played along, thanking her before rolling into the R&B icon’s track “Wall to Wall.”

Woman Shows Love To Chris Brown During NLE Choppa Performance

While some social media users are laughing at the woman for the confusion, others are coming to her defense, claiming that the two of them actually look pretty similar. “Close enough,” one Instagram commenter jokes. “The disrespect,” another adds alongside a series of laughing emojis. Luckily, the 21-year-old was able to deal with the mix-up in stride and didn’t appear to be too offended. After all, he is a big Breezy fan, so he might have even taken it as a compliment.

He showed his appreciation for the “Under The Influence” performer last month on Instagram, providing fans with a cover of the 2019 Indigo track on Instagram. While some viewers found it funny, others thought he could have a serious future in singing, though he appears to have only been trying to flex the diamonds on his teeth in the video. Drake Faces Backlash For Morgan Wallen Collaboration

Drake is facing backlash on social media for his decision to feature Morgan Wallen in the music video for his song, “You Broke My Heart,” off of his For All the Dogs: Scary Hours Edition album. Wallen has been a controversial figure since being caught using a racial slur in 2021. In a video published by TMZ from the time, he hurled the n-word, amongst other obscenities, during a drunken return home after a night out in Nashville.

To open the six-minute video, Drake and Wallen discuss a recent breakup over dinner. “I didn’t like her. I think she might have been the wrong girl anyway,” Wallen says. Drake concludes: “God bless her. Let’s see what else is out there; that’s what we need to do.

Nicki Minaj Scores Her First Ever Number One Hit On The Gospel Charts

Nicki Minaj has roared back into the public eye with the release of her 5th studio album Pink Friday 2 earlier this month. The project was her first new studio album in 5 years and came in on a massive wave of hype from her devoted fanbase. Nicki didn’t hold anything back from the project including a trio of singles that had already reached chart success and a variety of high-profile features. Drake, J. Cole, Future, Lil Wayne, Lil Uzi Vert, and more appear on the project.

One of those features is from gospel singer Tasha Cobbs Leonard. She appears on the track “Blessings” which pops up near the end of the album. The genre switch-up ultimately netted Nicki a brand new achievement on the charts. The song hit number one on this week’s edition of the Hot Gospel Songs chart, the first time Nicki has topped this specific chart. The song marks Leonard’s 5th time reaching the very top of Hot Gospel Songs chart. It’s one of numerous charts that were rocked by the release of Pink Friday 2. Nicki Minaj Tops Hot Gospel Chart

Pink Friday 2 also had an impressive impact on the Hot 100. 14 of the album’s 22 tracks made an appearance on this week’s chart. Three of the songs cracked the top 50. They were led by “Everybody” featuring Lil Uzi Vert which debuted inside the top 30. The number are particularly impressive given how much Christmas music dominates the Hot 100 this time of year. Christmas songs make up the majority of the Top 50 on this weeks chart.

Where the album made its most dominant impression was on the Billboard 200 where it stormed to a commanding first week debut. The album debuted at the number one spot after pushing more than 200k units in its first week. That total is enough to place it among the ten biggest first-week debuts of 2023.
