Recently, model Jayden Steele took to social media to explain why countless people in the entertainment industry hesitate to come forward with their stories of being abused by powerful people. She began by explaining that she herself was “physically attacked by a very large rapper in the 90s.” She described how she decided not to push for justice at the time because the attorneys she worked for represented the head of the rapper’s label.

“This man attacked me, I defended myself. 10 squad cars were called to the hotel because we tore that b*tch up,” she recalled. “There wasn’t one police report written about the incident. I had five officers come up to my room and take a statement. Not one police report was written.” It’s unclear what prompted the alleged physical altercation.

Jayden Steele Confirms Alleged Attacker’s Identity

“They told me to pick my battles,” she explained. While nowhere in the video did Steele disclose the name of her alleged assailant, fans speculated in her comments section. One commenter suggested that it could be Method Man, to which she simply replied, “Yes.” The Wu-Tang Clan performer has yet to respond to the allegations. He is far from the only person to be hit with allegations as of late, however.

Earlier this month, actor Christan Keyes came forward to share his story of being sexually harassed. He claims that his assailant was a “powerful” man in the industry, but failed to disclose his name. According to him, however, he has recordings of his interactions with the individual, which he plans to eventually hand over to authorities. “The wonderful thing about confidentiality agreements and non-disclosure agreements is that they can’t prevent you from turning all of those things over to the police,” he explained. Angel Reese Returns To Baltimore In Hometown Sellout

Angel Reese was greeted by the first sell-out crowd in the 14-year history of Coppin State’s Physical Education Complex as she made her first return to her hometown of Baltimore since leaving the Maryland Terrapins last year. In front of 4100-eager fans, Reese and LSU dismantled their hosts 80-48. Reese had a game-high 26 points, adding 6 rebounds and 5 steals to her tally as well. “I knew that people were going to come out and support. They love me here, right or wrong, up and down. Baltimore has always had my back,” Reese said after the game. Flau’jae Johnson added 18 for the Tigers.

The win moved LSU to 12-1, their twelfth consecutive win since their season-opening loss to Colorado. However, the Tigers have hardly been tested during the non-conference period. Only Virginia and Virginia Tech have really pushed LSU since the Colorado game. However, that only adds to the hype around the Tigers’ January 25 clash with currently undefeated South Carolina.

Angel Reese Reveals Reason For Four-Game Absence

Of course, the biggest story surrounding LSU’s early season start was the abrupt absence of Reese from the team for four games around Thanksgiving. Upon her return, Reese explained her absence as a “mental health break” and was self-imposed. “Taking time to yourself is really important. I feel like it’s just something important, resetting, refocusing within the team. I’m just happy to be back. My mental health is the most important before anything and I’m gonna make sure I’m okay before anything because I don’t wanna cause any harm or cancer in the locker room. I want to people realize that I’m not just an athlete. I’m a human, too. I go through things,” Reese said after LSU’s win over Virginia Tech.

Furthermore, Reese claimed that Shaq had FaceTimed her every day during her absence. Reese recently signed onto Reebok as Shaq’s first signing in his president of basketball role. However, Reese’s explanation raised questions with some fans. Firstly, it doesn’t explain why Reese was benched at halftime against Kent State in what Kim Mulkey called a “coach’s decision”. Secondly, one of the few comments Mulkey made about the situation was that it was a “locker room issue”. While things didn’t fully add up, fans were happy to have Reese return to the team.

This time, she tries to queue him into a freestyle and ends up stunned by what he delivers.

In her freestyle, Nicki flirts with Stephen a bit cracking a joke about how she could marry him. But the married host is prepared, delivering a bar right back at her that leaves Nicki’s jaw dropped. In the comments of the video, fans hype up Colbert for his response. “his wife home like ‘yea that’s what I thought’” one of the top comments reads. “This how I need my man. Given the hype for Pink Friday 2 leading up to the album, it’s no surprise that the record has performed so well commercially. It shot to the very top of the Billboard 200 in its first week. But it didn’t just debut at the top spot, it absolutely lapped the competition. The album debuted with over 200k sales in its first week putting it among the 10 biggest first week sales totals of the year.

14 songs from the album also made their way into the Hot 100 this week. Three of them, including “Everybody” with Lil Uzi Vert and “Needle” with Drake landed inside the top 50. That’s particularly impressive for this time of year when the majority of the top 50 on the chart is occupied by Christmas songs. Nicki also scored her first-ever chart-topper on the Hot Gospel Songs chart. She collaborated with gospel singer Tasha Cobbs Leonard on the track “Blessings” which sits atop the chart this week. Last month, Keke Palmer filed for a restraining order against Darius Jackson, the father of her child. She accused the fitness trainer of physical and emotional abuse, additionally filing for temporary sole custody of their son, Leodis. Earlier this month, things took an unexpected turn when he filed a motion alleging that the new mother had abused him on various occasions. Now, he’s petitioning for his own domestic violence restraining order against Palmer, appearing in court today to file.

Jackson accuses Palmer of choking him, hitting him, and more. He further alleges that she’s been verbally abusive, bombarding him with emails after their disagreements. He even provided alleged text messages from Palmer to back up his claims, which appear to show her apologizing for the incidents.

Carmelo Anthony “Throwback” Performance Blows Jadakiss Away

On a recent joint appearance on 7pm in Brooklyn, Carmelo Anthony found a way to wow his close friend Jadakiss. As Jadakiss gave Usher his flowers for his recently-ended Vegas residency, he also mentioned that he still fondly remembered his time working with Usher. A moment later, Anthony was dropping a perfect cover of Kiss’ verse from that collaboration, “Throwback”. “He killed it!” Jadakiss exclaimed once Anthony had powered through the verse. Jadakiss and Melo have been friends for most of Anthony’s professional basketball career. After Melo retired in May, Kiss was sure to honor his close friend. As Jadakiss began his performance at an Air Jordan event in July, he played audio from the 2003 NBA Draft, specifically the announcement of Melo going third overall to the Nuggets. Melo was in the crowd and was evidentially touched by the unorthodox shoutout. Kiss has also referred to Anthony as his “little brother” on numerous occasions during their friendship. Furthermore, Kiss’ son previously called his dad the “Melo of the [music] industry”, drawing yet another parallel between the pair.

However, Melo isn’t the only one with hip-hop connections. While walking through the crowd at Madison Square Garden during an It’s All A Blur tour stop, Drake spotted a familiar face. The Toronto rapper bounded over to embrace and greet Kiyan Anthony, Melo’s son. Furthermore, evidence from social media indicated that the pair had grabbed a picture together after the show.

Kiyan is a four-star recruit in the class of 2025. He is ranked #45 by 247 Sports and #52 by ESPN. He currently has a wealth of collegiate offers, including his father’s alma mater Syracuse. Additionally, Carmelo Anthony revealed in post-retirement interviews that he had intended to retire earlier, but that his son encouraged him to keep playing. Kiyan’s other offers are from Bryant, George Mason, Manhattan, and Memphis.

NBA YoungBoy’s House Arrest Terms Altered By Judge

NBA YoungBoy has recently received a modification to his house arrest sentence. The news comes as YoungBoy awaits trial on federal gun charges, where he faces allegations of being a “felon in possession of a firearm” during a 2020 incident in Baton Rouge.

‘Harm’s Way’

A judge has recently granted NBA YoungBoy’s house arrest modification request, altering the terms of his home confinement. While the ruling allows for increased access to mental health treatments, it denies his request for more studio time.

In a ruling on Monday, Dec. 18, Judge Shelly Dick made modifications to the Baton Rouge rapper’s house arrest terms, according to court documents. The judge allowed the “Bandit” rapper to receive additional mental health treatments but declined his request for extended studio time. 

Judge Dick expressed concern that granting more studio time could potentially put people in “harm’s way,” including NBA YoungBoy himself.

‘Low Record Sales’

NBA YoungBoy has been confined to his Utah home for the past two years under a 24-hour lockdown, except for medical appointments, court appearances, and activities approved by his pretrial supervision officer, according to court filings. 

The rapper’s assertion of suffering mentally due to his confinement led to his request for modifications. He argued that his current situation has negatively impacted his music career, claiming “low record sales” due to his house arrest.

Federal prosecutors are opposing NBA YoungBoy’s plea to ease the restrictions of his house arrest, citing concerns about his mental health and declining music sales. The Louisiana rapper’s attorney filed a petition, seeking modifications to the conditions of his house arrest, but the prosecution is strongly contesting the motion.

Mental Health Matters 

NBA YoungBoy is facing a legal battle involving his Utah house arrest. On Monday, Nov. 27, NBA YoungBoy’s attorney, William K. Morris, filed a petition to modify the conditions of his current house arrest and is facing heavy pushback from the prosecution. 

The rapper’s legal team argued that his current confinement has taken a toll on his emotional well-being, leading to weight loss, sleep deprivation, and a sense of hopelessness regarding his future career prospects. Prosecutors are opposing this request, sparking a heated debate over the extent of the “Right Foot Creep” rapper’s mental health concerns and his ability to seek proper treatment.

Prosecutors Say No

Assistant U.S. Attorney William K. Morris expressed:

“The United States fails to see how the defendant’s current conditions of pretrial release prohibit him from seeking and obtaining mental health treatment. Being confined to his home and unable to complete his employment obligations has led to great anxiety, depression, loss of weight and sleep. NBA YoungBoy has been visibly stressed and has expressed concern and loss of hope that he will be able to return to his contracted employment obligation.”

As the Baton Rouge native’s legal team attempts to have a federal court alleviate the house arrest terms due to depression and mental health issues, prosecutors say they disagree.

The prosecution argues that NBA YoungBoy has access to adequate means of addressing his mental health struggles, refuting the need to relax his confinement. As the legal battle continues, how the court will rule remains uncertain, impacting the rapper’s mental well-being.

NBA Youngboy Is Gettin’ Free!

As NBA Youngboy continues to await trial on his federal gun charges, his legal team is working double time. They have now asked that the Louisiana rapper to be released on bond.

Youngboy’s Legal Teams Wants House Arrest

The last time his team requested bond for the rapper, it was denied.  However, things are different this time around. His attorneys are now requesting that Youngboy be relocated to his Utah residence to serve his time on house arrest. In this request, he would have access to his in-home studio and would be monitored by a private security team.

Prosecutors were unsure, noting that he was in a fight in jail and may be harmful to himself or others. 

The judge has now granted NBA Youngboy a bond and will allow him to stay on house arrest in his Utah home until his trial.

Youngboy Makes Album Announcement From Jail

Recently, Youngboy announced he’s dropping a compilation with artists from his label under Motown records.

NBA Youngboy has been dominating the music industry and has no plans on stopping soon. The rapper has been gearing up for yet another highly anticipated release following the success of his most recent album “Sincerely Kentrell”.

She and Kim were recently live streaming on their TikTok when the most recent instance of having no filter delighted fans. When somebody in the comments suggests she could find a date for her uncle Scott Disick, North takes the time to think about it. While her answer delights fans, it instantly puts Kim in a somewhat awkward place.

North responds to the question saying Cardi B. Kim has to quickly remind North that Cardi is currently married. That’s technically true as she’s been married to Offset for years now. But the couple seem to be going through a tough patch. They unfollowed each other on Instagram and in a recent livestream Cardi described herself as “single.” After North brings up Cardi, Kim switches into a much more alert mode reminding her that she has to watch what she says before eventually deciding to end the livestream. North West is a fan of quite a few different female rappers. Earlier this month when Nicki Minaj dropped her new album Pink Friday 2, North was one of the first fans.
