Sexyy Red is currently in the middle of her first-ever headlining tour. The breakout rapper is having a massive 2023 on the back of her new album Hood Hottest Princess. The project has spawned hits like “Pound Town 2” and “SkeeYee” and led her to make some major collaborations. This year alone she’s teamed up with Lil Durk, Latto, SZA, Young Nudy, Drake, and of course, DaBaby.
During Red’s tour stop in her hometown, she had a special gift for fans. The St. Louis crowd got the treat of watching Red and DaBaby performing on-stage together. Earlier this year the pair collaborated on the “Shake Sumn REMIX” and brought that energy to the stage. While Sexyy Red receives her usual hate from fans online others come to her defense in the comments. “She literally working, creating generational wealth for her family. With how big of a 2023 Sexyy Red had, it’s unsurprising her distinct style has become a big hit this Halloween. She played into that herself over the weekend when she tweeted “lemme see yall Sexyy outfits.” Fans lived up to the request filling up her mentions with their best renditions of her signature look. The most praised fit of the bunch came from Youtuber Heather Sanders. Sanders absolutely nailed her look from the BET Hip Hop Awards this year.
While many dressed up as Red, the rapper herself gave her take on a Halloween staple. She dressed up as a devil, which fittingly matched her Red aesthetic perfectly. TI says that legends like Eminem, Andre 3000, and Nipsey Hussle all share one common trait. He discussed what he feels that is during an interview with B. High ATL while explaining how his collaboration with the Outkast rapper came together.
“I waited, and paid,” he began. “Andre 3000, Eminem, [and] Nipsey Hussle is the longest verses that you will ever, ever, ever […] but when they finish, they’re going to come together masterfully.”

In the comments section of the interview, some fans took issue with TI putting Nipsey Hussle in the same group as Eminem and Andre 3000. Others adamantly came to the late rapper’s defense. One argued: “Nip a [goat emoji] if you say otherwise you’re misinformed. You may not relate to his music if you don’t come from a similar background which is cool but for the majority of us who do come from that and actually understand the struggle of trying to transcend an environment where intellect is frowned upon to fulfill your true purpose….you know the impact he had and status he achieved.” Another wrote: “Nipsey Hussle will forever be one of the greatest, most of y’all haters in the comments must listen to P Diddy and MC Hammer.”
TI Discusses Working With Andre 3000
As for new music from TI, he recently shot down the possibility of releasing a collaborative project with Boosie Badazz. Appearing on the We In Miami podcast, earlier this month, he explained: “I feel like the time that we had allotted for it, we kind of passed by it. You know what I mean? It was ready. We got the records. But it’s so much that goes into releasing a record besides just releasing the record, and I feel like we kinda missed the window. Not saying that that window can’t present itself again. We have a very healthy relationship.”
While much of the recent news cycle in Britney Spears’s life has been dominated by her new memoir, there have been other stories popping up. During a bit of a turbulent time for the singer where she was facing public backlash for videos she posted where she appeared to be dancing with knives, she was hit with another slight public drama. That was when it came to light that she had been pulled over twice, once in September and once in October.
Now, body cam footage of both encounters has made its way online. TMZ shared the videos, neither of which paint Britney in all that bad of a light. In both clips, she’s very apologetic and provides explanations for her actions. During the first stop, she’s asked why she doesn’t have info like her license and proof of insurance. She explained that her security usually holds onto documentation like that. In the second clip, her explanation for a traffic violation is much simpler. Britney Spears’s new memoir The Woman In Me made a big splash with fans online. The person most impacted by the story’s revelations was definitely Justin Timberlake. Spears revealed details on their time dating in the early 2000s. That included Timberlake getting her pregnant and the “excruciating” experience she had terminating the pregnancy.
It also detailed Timberlake breaking up with her via text. The text reportedly came to Britney while she was on set of the film Crossroads. Fans weren’t happy about that detail in particular and began to attack Justin online. The hate got so loud that Timberlake was forced to turn off the comments on all of his Instagram posts. Well, that seemingly changed recently as he spoke on the allegations that Brett Favre aided in diverting funds from welfare recipients in Mississippi. Favre didn’t like his comments and launched lawsuits against Pat McAfee and Sharpe.
In the end, he settled with McAfee, and the whole thing was put to rest. However, the case against Sharpe remained ongoing. Many were curious as to how this whole thing would include. After all, Sharpe is someone who is beloved by fans. Meanwhile, Favre doesn’t have the greatest reputation among the fans these days. Well, last night, Sharpe revealed that the entire thing is over and done with. He came out victorious.

In the accompanying interview, the California native has plenty of praise for his father, particularly his “Through The Wire” single, which she named as her most-listened-to song at this time. “I like singing, performing is my favourite,” the growing girl told the outlet. When asked if she thinks that passion is inherited from her family, North replied, “Sometimes. Mostly from me though, and then a little bit of my dad.”

Diddy has responded to the rumors that he once wanted to fight Will Smith after the actor and his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, tried to have a threesome with his then-girlfriend, Jennifer Lopez. Appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Diddy downplayed the truthfulness of the story.
“Speaking of love, I saw a guy on the internet the other day,” Kimmel began. “He said he used to be your security guard, who said that when you were dating J. Lo, Will Smith and Jada tried to pick her up on a threesome, and you were gonna beat up Will Smith. Is that true?” Diddy replied: “This show has gotten crazier since the last time. You really heard that? Nah.” After joking about not believing everything you hear on the internet, Diddy adds: “I don’t know what you’re talking about. Jimmy, I thought we was friends.”

On the last day of 2020 the world was shocked to learn that hip hop’s supervillain, MF DOOM had passed away 2 month’s prior on October 31st. Shock, disbelief and sadness spread across the community of fans, family and people who loved him.
My story with DOOM started in 2004. I was working on The Beautiful Struggle tour for Talib Kweli and DOOM was the opener. I was rushing around backstage when I saw him and Benn Grimm waiting to go onstage.
“You got a dutch?” I asked him, pushing past Benn who seemed like he was trying to block him. “Nah I don’t have one, he replied, flashing a smile of 18k gold fronts. At that moment, Kweli walks by and says, “Oh you met DOOM, this is my assistant Courtney Brown— Court, you know DOOM is from KMD?’

This was the beginning of a friendship that would forever influence my life. Not much long after our initial meeting we became road buddies and I came to know the author Daniel Dumile. After watching me problem solve on the road for Kweli, he asked me to work for him and his wife Jasmine once that tour ended. They both taught me how to navigate the business world as well as helped with my personal growth. DOOM was a teacher and to be in his circle you had to study. He would send countless 4 hour lectures and sign books that he felt were pertinent to my growth.

Once his mask was removed, he revealed he was thoughtful… full of curiosity, kindness and unusual talent. He treated me like a queen in an industry that took advantage of women. He didn’t act like a rapper because as he said that wasn’t even him. He would run errands, helped with my goals and always knew how to fix everything. He inconspicuously took the train from NYC in a snowstorm to Jersey Shore to help us pack up my granny’s 7 bedroom house for sale. Even though he just released his classic album MM…FOOD , he trooped through the snow walking from the train to our house in Neptune, NJ because no cars were available. We stayed up all night talking about everything under the sun as he meticulously wrapped heirlooms inquiring about each item.
I moved to LA to assist him as he worked on DangerDOOM. During that time we spent a lot of time finding inspiration for that album and hanging out with my best friend at the time Kelis and her husband, rapper Nas. One day after a bougie LA dinner I convinced them to come back to my hotel room where DOOM put on some beats and Nas began freestyling. This lasted nearly an hour. DOOM had his Special Herbs CD on him and it was a historical moment not captured on camera or recorded.
Eventually my job description grew as I became a part of his ‘entourage’ but DOOM was a villain and there was always more to be revealed. When I began writing he supported that too—demanding I write many of his cover stories including his FRANK 151 cover.

One day he instructed me to do an entire press day with what he called a ‘robot’ and later I found out it would be Benn Grimm. (He was full of surprises.) He told me not to let ANYONE in the room except the journalists for the interviews and the photographers to take photos. I was scared shitless. We were shooting a cover with a fake DOOM. I had on my best business ensemble and issued a lot of ‘no’s’ that day. We made it through that day until a woman who knew him and demanded to speak to him kept pressuring to enter the room.
Busted. We stayed up that night with him and Jas in Atlanta and me in New York writing the perfect editorial for Elemental Magazine who was pretty upset.

He and I together composed the perfect words to explain his tactics. And Jas, always loving and fair, paid me handsomely for my work. They both respected my pen. We moved back to LA to work on MADVILLAIN 2 and that album is the greatest album no one has heard yet. Built off a lot of crazy experiences and real life situations he turned into songs, he put a lot of work into that record. Although he didn’t complete it, he felt masterpieces should not be rushed. One song we researched for weeks which came from a weird news story I told him about in New York. We laughed about it for nearly 2 hours before the intense research began. We called it the ‘monkey song’. He recorded a few songs with Ghostface during that time and he was one of the few rappers I could get to change lyrics which is why there are 2 versions of Angels.

I could go on for eternity with stories, memories and lessons I learned from the supervillain. He was very strategic and placed things and people where he wanted them to be. He knew what he was doing. Many might wonder why I would reveal so much. DOOM often talked about not being here and of course I would shrug it off. He emphatically told me, “If I’m not here anymore, you better tell that story. I’d rather it be you then anybody. Villain!” Maybe one day, I will. Rest in Power DOOM.
