Fans Think Future Dissed Gunna On New Song “Allure” And Here’s Why

Future and Gunna are two of Atlanta’s biggest rappers. They have an impressive resume when it comes to collabs, as evidenced by hits like “Pushin’ P” and “Too Easy.” Gunna’s involvement in the Young Thug trial, however, has soured his relationships with several other names in the industry. Future is among the most notable. There’s seemingly tension between the two, based on the lack of collabs they’ve put out and subliminal statements they’ve made via social media. Now, fans believe that Future has taken subs and put them in a song.

Future dropped a slick guest verse on the new Ferg single “Allure.” It’s an absolute banger of a song, for one. The Atlanta rapper appears to still be in Mixtape Pluto mode, which is very much an amazing thing for fans. The closer fans listened to his “Allure” verse, though, the more theories began to swirl that the rapper was actually taking aim at Gunna. The lyrics don’t mention Gunna by name, but it’s hard to listen to the wording and not imagine that he’s the target. And we don’t use the word “target” lightly, either.

Future Allegedly References Gunna’s Death

“You done took a plea on my slime,” Future raps. “Won’t be surprised if you ended up dead.” It’s very clear that Pluto is taking about his friend Young Thug when he says slime. It’s also pretty easy to infer that Gunna is going to be the one who could end up, well “dead.” This is the most pointed that a Pluto diss has ever gotten. He rapped the first verse and the chorus of “Like That,” the diss song that broke the rap game open in 2024, and was still more vague. It speaks to the rapper’s seeming frustration with Gunna, if in fact these bars are aimed at him.

We know that Future doesn’t play when it comes to Young Thug. During a 2020 interview with Apple Music, the Atlanta rapper spoke in depth about how much he valued their friendship. “That’s my twin,” he asserted. “There’s me and then there’s him. … When you mention Thug you mention me. It’s like one.” The two even collaborated on the 2017 album Super Slimey. Interestingly enough, Future isn’t the only person in Young Thug’s life to lobby an alleged threat at Gunna. Young Thug’s kids uploaded a diss to Gunna back in July. The YSL rapper was not pleased.

Joe Budden Celebrates The Rumored Cancelation Of Lil Yachty’s Podcast

Lil Yachty has seemingly gone from one drama to the next in 2024. The rapper formerly known for his fun-loving attitude and friendship with Drake has become a headline grabber. First, there was the whole situation in which he announced he won’t be doing interviews anymore because of the way the internet reacted to his comments. Then, there was the Karrahbooo situation (read more about it here). Now, it’s Lil Yachty’s podcast, A Safe Place. And Joe Budden is loving all of it.

Lil Yachty has been co-hosting A Safe Place Podcast since June 2023. There have been several notable rappers who have appeared, but it appears as though the pod’s days are numbered. Yachty’s consistent co-host, MitchGoneMad, tweeted out that he’s going to be needing a new job. “Currently practicing my putting the fries in the bag technique will update you soon,” he wrote. When asked when a new episode is coming out, he responded: “Ngl i think bro rolling up that podcast in a backwood as we speak.” Joe Budden has been watching all of this unfold, and he decided to celebrate the news on his podcast.

Joe Budden Played ‘Another One Bites The Dust’ On His Pod

Budden and the rest of his team read Mitch’s tweets, then decided to flex their podcasting muscle. They threw on the Queen song “Another One Bites the Dust,” as a means of celebrating the end of the Lil Yachty podcast experiment. “I know what he said,” Joe Budden noted in regard to Mitch’s tweets. “Hell is about to break loose!” Anybody who has a working knowledge of Budden and Lil Yachty know that there is no love lost between them. If anything, they have disliking each other from afar for nearly a decade.

Joe Budden went nuclear on Lil Yachty during a 2017 episode of Everyday Struggle. He got seethingly angry over the notion that Boat was young and just wanted to have fun. Memes ensued, and it remains one of the most iconic pieces of hip hop media in the 2010s. The tension hasn’t died down, though. Lil Yachty claimed that he would “smoke” Budden if they were to rap on a song together during Budden’s appearance on, you guessed it, A Safe Place Podcast. “If you give me one of them Metroid beats,” the podcaster joked. “Then you will have the better verse.” Well, guess Joe got the last laugh.

The Footage Took Place At Diddy’s Home In 2022

Context can shift a whole lot. Those in attendance don’t seem bothered by Diddy’s announcements. In truth, several of the comments under the TMZ upload on YouTube point out that his comments were not especially incriminating. The reason the outlet picked it up, though, is the context of what has Diddy has been accused of. A celebrity photographer recently spoke to the New York Post about the parties they attended. The photographer, Selma Fonseca, claimed to have attended between 20-30 parties dating back to the 1990s.

Fonseca claimed that Diddy parties were always lavish affairs, with the best food and guests. She did recall one instance in which her camera was confiscated after she took a photo of Diddy and a girl she had never seen before. Despite this intense interaction, Fonseca claims that she never saw anything along the lines of what Diddy is being charged with. “I was surprised at the same time because I’ve never seen anything,” Fonseca asserted. “I’ve been around this guy so many times… I used to see him probably once a month or more.” Diddy is currently being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.
