Kanye West Verse On New Childish Gambino Track Subject To Speculation Of Dreaded AI

Childish Gambino was creating some major excitement around the release of his upcoming album Atavista. The reboot of 3.15.20, which is still awaiting a drop date, was announced in mid-March. The Georgia multi-hyphenate has been teasing the record immensely on now two GILGA Radio livestreams. He launched the second just last night, April 21, and fans were not able to contain themselves after hearing one song in particular. Kanye West vocals stunned everyone on a three-minute track during the hour and change event. He has been creating quite the stir online himself after dissing drake on a “Like That” remix and some were wondering if it was real. Well, there is also similar speculation, as AI rumors are swirling for the verse from Kanye on the Gambino track.

The reason for the second-guessing comes from a post on X from the account called Kurrco. The GILGA Radio show has been utilizing the controversial technology through ads and narration. Furthermore, Gambino and GILGA have been farming talent from the AI space for this rollout. Fans in the comments section are noticeably concerned and fed up with the constant talk around AI.

Childish Gambino Teased The Kanye West Track Last Night

“Could be, but it’s definitely new. I just hate that everything is questioned for ai nowadays. AI removes all feeling from music,” one Ye fan account says. One goes as far as to say the music industry is essentially cooked. “Ai ruining everything we’re f***ed.” Another fan is even theorizing that its a scrapped Ye verse. “Either it’s a old real verse, or it’s a new ai verse, bc ye doesn’t have the “lisp” from the grills.”

What are your thoughts on this Kanye West verse on this unreleased Childish Gambino song being deemed as AI? Does any part of Ye’s performance give off an artificial vibe? Where do you stand on the technology in music and why? Are you excited for Gambino’s upcoming record, Atavista? Slimesito Grabs More Production From Evilgiane For “DESIGNER DRUGZ”

The crop of talented hip-hop producers and beat makers continues to expand by the second. One of the new stars that is pushing himself to new heights is Yonkers, New York native evilgiane. The creative and almost avant-garde genius really came into his own last year, especially. He had several viral singles, including his work on “The Hillbillies” with Kendrick Lamar and Baby Keem. However, he is more known for his affiliation with the Surf Gang label and its artists. The album that really put evilgiane on the map was his 2024 effort #HEAVENSGATE VOL. 1 and one artist that contributed heavily to that was Slimesito. Now, evilgiane and Slimesito are teaming up just months later for a new single “DESIGNER DRUGZ.”

This track in considered to be for the Maryland rapper and whether or not this is just a loosie remains to be seen. “DESIGNER DRUGZ” features a woozy and futuristic sound that will have you wanting to float in space. Slimesito and evilgiane are definitely on the same wavelength, as the synergy is obvious right from the jump. The “Mafia Business” artist finds a pocket immediately and takes off from there.

Evilgiane has certainly taken off himself and he spoke with The Face just last month and how he feels music is extremely important for him, but also for the world. He feels artists need to be inspirational for one another and they are the catalysts for creation. “Encourage more people to make art, no matter what type of art they’re trying to make. It makes everyone else happy. A lot of people are angry and take it out on others because they can’t express themselves. Art is the easiest way to do that.” He is certainly one of the most expressive names we have going, and we cannot wait to hear more from him and Slimesito.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new single “DESIGNER DRUGZ” by Slimesito and evilgiane? Is this the duo’s best collaboration so far, why or why not? What is the best element of the track and why? Do you think Slimesito or evilgiane have a project coming soon? HARDY Puts Country Twang On The Classic Snoop Dogg & Dr. Dre Collab “Gin & Juice”

Just a couple of months ago, two of the West Coast’s most prominent rap figures Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre announced a new alcoholic beverage. Promotional videos for the perfectly named “Gin & Juice” rolled out in February, as each artist continues to create more avenues for themselves. It seems the drink is in the process of being rolled out still, according to The Source, and it is being distributed nationally through Southern Glazer’s Wine and Spirits. It is known to be the largest beverage distributor in the United States, so there is clearly a lot of support behind the spiked concoction.

Four flavors are available, including apricot, citrus, melon, and passionfruit and it is a premium gin-based cocktail. While Snoop and Dre will certainly not have too much trouble marketing it themselves, some extra exposure never hurts. The iconic G-funk duo has done just that, according to HipHopDX, as they have asked country singing star HARDY to give the drink a larger audience outside of hip-hop. The Mississippi native got the okay to recreate the rappers’ essential track “Gin & Juice” with Southern flare.

HARDY told Complex that he was honored for this incredible offer. “I’m still in disbelief, but I am so stoked that I’m dropping my version of ‘Gin and Juice’ with the blessing of Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg themselves. Thankful for the opportunity.” HARDY does a great job of flipping some memorable lines, as well as performing the hook. He even made sure to incorporate the iconic ringing synths into his version. Be sure to check out the two songs back-to-back with the links above.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new single “Gin & Juice” by HARDY? Did the country star do Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg justice with this interpolation, why or why not? Do you think we are going to continue to see the melding of country and hip-hop more often going forward? Was this a smart marketing move by Dre and Snoop to ask HARDY to do this? Bladee, Ecco2k & Thaiboy Digital Sum Up Their Talents On New Single, “TL;DR”: Stream

Drain Gang is back with one of the filthiest beats you’ll have heard so far this year, some infectious flows, and the despondent but effortlessly cool lyrics the collective is known for embodying. Moreover, Bladee, Ecco2k, and Thaiboy Digital just dropped the song “TL;DR” on streaming services (produced by Whitearmor) after they released its music video, shot by the first artist’s brother Gus Reinwald, just last week. This continues a solid 2024 for Bladee, who just dropped his collaborative album with Yung Lean, Psykos, last March. As for Ecco and Thaiboy, this is the first thing that either of them have released to DSPs in a while, which is very exciting.

Furthermore, to give an example to easily convey what makes this song so engaging, Playboi Carti fans should definitely tap into Drain Gang if they haven’t already. This beat is a perfect introduction: relentless but backdropped hi-hats, addictive synth timbres, cavernous bass, crisp percs and snares, plus ethereal vocal effects. It ends up striking a difficult balance between nocturnal moodiness and intoxicated hype, something that a synth switch towards the end plus additional elements really help illustrate. Lyrically, Bladee, Ecco2k, and Thaiboy Digital call back to some of their previous cult classics and proclaim that this cut is for the “real fanatics” who love songs and projects like “For You,” The Fool, or even earlier. We won’t spoil them here, unfortunately.

Drain Gang’s Back: Stream & Watch The Music Video For Bladee, Ecco2k & Thaiboy Digital’s “TL;DR”

Meanwhile, their tradeoff is also well-balanced: the “Enemy” creative opens and ends, Ecco2k has a cold-blooded verse, and Thaiboy Digital brings some of that repetitive hypnosis and opulence. Needless to say, we can’t wait to see where Bladee and the rest of Drain Gang take us next. If you haven’t heard “TL;DR,” find it on your preferred streaming service and peep some standout bars below. Let us know what you think of it in the comments, and make sure to check out the music video above. As always, stick around on HNHH for more Drain Gang news and the latest great music drops around the clock.

FTO Sett Doesn’t Want You To “Duck No Smoke” On New Single

Sett, who also goes by FTO Sett, is a Memphis, Tennessee rapper who we have not covered for all the best reasons. He was recently arrested in late February for a connection to a drug and firearms case. On top of that his bond was revoked so he is still awaiting his fate. His next court date was for March 5 and there was no clear-cut reason at the time of the report as to why his bond was rescinded.

The last time we spoke about FTO Sett musically was for a collaboration with Lil Baby called “Can’t Be F***ed With.” That hit streaming back in mid-January. As for 2023, the still budding rapper delivered his debut tape with 29 tracks and a host of features on Life of a SlimeCrook. In the present, regardless of his legal issues, FTO is looking to feed his fans.

Desiigner Mixes Country & Trap On “Big Dawg”

Desiigner was one of those rappers that was being painted as a one hit wonder. On top of that label, he was also mistakenly being referred to as Future early on in his career. If you ask most casual listeners of the genre about the first time they heard “Panda” they will most likely tell you they thought it was Pluto. For a brief moment, he proved the doubters wrong. But lately Desiigner has gotten lost in the shuffle, and know he is looking to make some stylistic changes on “Big Dawg.”

That switch-up sees him trying his hand at blending country and trap music. This is not anything groundbreaking for hip-hop, but it is cool to see Desiigner experiment a bit. Country and rap crossing paths has become more popular as of late with acts like Shaboozey and JaeyBxrd making some waves. So, it makes sense to continue to push those ideas forward.

While he has not dropped a new album since 2018’s L.O.D., hopefully all of these singles mean something bigger is on the way. In 2024, Desiigner has already dropped four solo efforts, with the most recent, “Drip Check,” hitting streaming just last Friday. But while we are optimistic, he has been prolific in years prior and has not dropped an album. For now, check out “Big Dawg” and tell us what you think.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new single “Big Dawg” by Desiigner? Is this his best song as of late, why or why not? Which element of the track did you find to be most enjoyable and why? Headie One, Stormzy, & Tay Keith Unite For High-Profile Collab “Cry No More”

Headie One and Stormzy, two UK veteran rappers are some of the more prominent voices in the drill scene across the pond. In fact, they have a combined 17 years plus of experience and their undeniable chemistry shows up whenever they collaborate. Pretty soon, Headie One will be dropping his new project The Last One, so to hype it up, he just put out a new single “Cry No More.”

According to Genius, the prolific veteran will have it out by June 14. So far there have been two singles released ahead of it. One of them is of course “Cry No More,” and the other is “Martin’s Sofa.” That one is a bit peculiar, since it came out back in January of 2023. In terms of collaborations between Headie and Stormzy, this is now their third ever song.

Also in the fold for this track are high-end producers Tay Keith and Pooh Beatz. Both have crafted up some of the biggest trap bangers here in the states. But they are dabbling in UK drill in this case and it goes over well. Headie One spoke with Complex why he was so happy to work with both of them and why this is one of his favorites from The Last One. “This is one of my favorites from the album. I loved the sample and 808s straight away when Tay and Pooh played it in the studio. Stormzy went crazy on it, too.”

Travis Scott Surprise Drops “CHASE B REMIX” Of “FE!N,” But Fans Are Trashing It

Travis Scott easily had one of the most successful albums of 2023 period last year with his long-awaited fourth studio album UTOPIA. It went on to spawn some incredible and impactful songs that are well on their way to being some of the biggest of his career. “I KNOW ?” “MELTDOWN,” “TELEKENESIS,” and of course, “FE!N,” are among the big ticket cuts. To further establish the latter in his discography Travis Scott is bringing a CHASE B REMIX into the fold.

The remix’s title is a nod to fellow Houston, Texas DJ and producer CHASE B. He has a lot of close ties with Scott, crafting beats for some of his catalog. For this reimagining, the veteran is transforming the rage rap track into a dance record. With a version like this, the lyrics are at a minimum. In fact, Playboi Carti’s verse is totally scrapped in the process. This is not the only major Scott track to receive a dance facelift. His 2016 mega hit “goosebumps” got HVME involved and that became a huge song in its own right.

Underneath the YouTube comments have not been glowing to say the least. “This the version Fein that a middle school dance would play,” one person comments. “Tiktok rizz party version,” another adds. “Bro dropped this and now he needs to pick it back up😭🙏🏼” Let us know what you think and check it out above.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new single “FE!N (CHASE B REMIX)” by Travis Scott & CHASE B? Is this his best dance remix ever, why or why not? Stove God Cooks & Stoupe Link For Intimidating “We Ballin Again”

Stove God Cooks is always impressive when he drops a new single or a feature. However, the underground New York rapper from Syracuse is someone we have been waiting on to drop a new album. It has been over four years since we got his debut project Reasonable Drought. Even then, it was not even a solo project. It was a collaboration with fellow underground New Yorker and lyricist Roc Marciano. But there is a ton of optimism that maybe some time this year, the Babygrande Records signee will come through with something truly spectacular. The reason why we think that is because of the steady stream of quality singles.

2024 has already been one of his most productive years since starting out in 2020. Stove God Cooks was essentially ready from the beginning with “Melo Chip and a Brick.” The excellent jazz rap cut with dirty horns courtesy of Conductor Williams, and the hungry rapping from SGC all amounted to something rewarding. Then, he came through with “Carbone,” with production from Stoupe on March 1.

Listen To “We Ballin Again” By Stove God Cooks & Stoupe

For “We Ballin Again,” Stove God’s latest offering, Stoupe joins him again. For us, we prefer this over “Carbone” because the instrumental is haunting, and Cooks’ bars are intimidating. He also delivers better flows with animated adlibs, and the awkward chorus is not there from “Carbone.” Be sure to run it up with the link above.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new single “We Ballin Again” by Stove God Cooks and Stoupe? Is this his best song as of late, why or why not? Which element of the track did you find to be more enjoyable and why? Do you think he is getting ready for a new album soon? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section.
