Juice WRLD’s Estate Releases New Single, “Face 2 Face”

It’s now been three years since we tragically lost Juice WRLD to an overdose-induced seizure in 2019. He was only 21 years old.

Although he’s no longer with us, his estate continues to keep his legacy alive by consistently dropping new music for his fans.

The Chicago native recorded so much while he was alive. Fans have already received two posthumous albums and an array of singles.

With just one verse and a repeated hook, “Face 2 Face” is short but sweet. However, it showcases the “Robbery” rapper in familiar territory.

In his signature sing-rap flow, he expresses the difficulty of battling his demons as he tries to get some sleep. This kind of intimacy within his music is why he continues to be loved and adored by fans.

His continued willingness to never shy away from addressing topics like mental health and addiction makes his impact on this generation undeniable.

“The ship gon’ sink, can’t sail no more / I lost my receipt when I sold my soul / I lost my seat, what do I stand for? / The monsters of the deep, they take control,” he candidly sings to kick off the verse.

An accompanying video also arrives alongside the song. Directed and edited by Steve Cannon, the visuals perfectly capture the images that Juice vividly paints throughout the track.

“Face 2 Face” serves as his third official single of 2022.

Earlier this year, the deluxe version of his posthumously-released 2021 album, Fighting Demons dropped. Five additional songs were added to the original tracklist, including “My Life In A Nutshell” and the previously released “Rich And Blind.”

Quotable Lyrics:

Every time I go to fall asleep, these demons haunting me
Face my fears, face-to-face as we meet
Evil is grabbing me
Losing my gravity
My mind’s a bloody scene, detached from reality

Rosalía Taps Cardi B For “DESPECHÁ RMX”

Cardi B didn’t come through with her long-awaited sophomore album in 2022. However, she did show out on a series of collaborations with other artists, reminding the Bardi Gang that she’s still that bitch.

After finding success on titles like Kay Flock’s “Shake It” and GloRilla’s “Tomorrow 2,” the New York native is connecting with Latin artist Rosalía. The two have come together for the “DESPECHÁ RMX” on Friday (December 16).

The updated version follows the original’s appearance on the Grammy-nominated singer’s Motomami project. It marks her third studio LP and landed her a nod for Best Latin Rock or Alternative album at the upcoming ceremony.

Throughout “DESPECHÁ RMX,” Rosalía sings in Spanish before Cardi flexes her bilingual rhyming skills. “Don’t need your drama, don’t need your stress / I could forget you like uno, dos, tres,” she declares in her first verse.

“Got my own money, whole lotta M’s / Como este mambo, my money dance,” her clever lyrics continue.

As AllHipHop notes, this isn’t the first time the Invasion of Privacy hitmaker has used both English and Spanish on the same song. Previously, “I Like It” featuring J. Balvin and Bad Bunny went 11x-Platinum.

Additionally DJ Snake’s “Take Take” with Bardi, Selena Gomez, and Ozuna has been viewed over 2.3 billion times on YouTube.

Other noteworthy multilingual tracks from the mother of two include “La Modelo” with Ozuna as well as “Mi Mami” with El Alfa. Later, in 2020, she went on to work with Anitta on “Me Gusta.”

Latto Is Back With “Another Nasty Song”

Throughout her career, Latto has built herself something of a reputation for making salacious songs. Like many other female rap divas, she’s not afraid to let her confidence shine through as she talks her shit. Of course, this sort of attitude comes with its share of haters, but the 23-year-old isn’t letting them phase her.

On her aptly titled new single, “Another Nasty Song,” the “Sunshine” artist dishes about some of her bedroom preferences. “‘Cause this here another nasty song / He love it when I pull up wit’ no panties on,” she saucily teases on the chorus.

Other bold lyrics from the rising recording artist include “Gangster bitch, I make him wear my chain whilе he drillin’ / And me and my bitch might run a train on this n*gga.”

The sexy single comes following a massive leak that Latto’s unreleased music was a part of. Hundreds of tracks that she had locked and loaded in her arsenal were sadly shared with the world without her permission, though they’ve made their admiration of certain titles very clear.

Latto heard her fan’s praise loud and clear and was quick to officially unveil “Another Nasty Song” with them as a result.

After sharing her own 777 album back in March, the reality star has had an impressive 2022. Most recently, we saw her work with GloRilla on “FTCU” and on Chlöe’s “For The Night” single.

Masego stayed out of the spotlight for most of 2022. In recent months, though, he’s making a return with new music for his adoring fanbase. In early November, his “Say You Want Me,” was making rounds. The song is full of rhythmic afrobeats and R&B vibes, and remains in rotation for many.

Before the year comes to a close, the 29-year-old has one last treat in store – a nearly four-minute-long single called “You Never Visit Me.” Throughout his lyrics, the musician reflects on how love can become less of a priority while one is chasing their dreams.

“Took the bait when they sold me the dream / And I drove to crazier zones and I paid for it,” he quickly sings over Wu10 and Todd Pritchard’s production. “You where there when I told you the plan, you were sold / Then we made it a goal to remain ’til we old.”

As Broadway World notes, the song came together at Wu’s Huntsville, AL studio. Additionally, co-producer Louie Lastic worked from Los Angeles and Justus West came through on the electric guitar.

Both “You Never Visit Me” and “Say You Want Me” are due to appear on Masego’s forthcoming album in 2023.

The Jamaican’s last full-length project came in 2023. Studying Abroad: Extended Stay boasts fan favourites like “Mystery Lady” with Don Toliver and “Silver Tongue Devil” with Shenseea.

It’s been relatively quiet from Bfb Da Packman since he shared his Fat N*ggas Need Love Too album last year. In November, “Trick” finally arrived on DSPs. Now, the rapper has returned with another new single, this one explicitly titled “Hoe Friends.”

As you may have guessed, his lyrics find the Michigan native comedically telling a story involving plenty of sexual antics. “I’m single now,” he surprisingly declares to listeners. “I got caught cheating with my bitche’s auntie.”

Prior to that Bfb shared bars about “[putting] Granny in a nursing home,” because she’s been “acting extra.”

The infectious production on “Hoe Friends” comes courtesy of BeatsbyTrav and Taz Taylor, as well as Yakree, a press release notes.

In the latter half of the brief song, he rhymes, “For real, rest in peace Mac Miller / She worked out all day just to come lay with a fat n*gga.” His jokes only continue with, “I could’ve made it far without you, I’m not Marvin Sapp, n*gga / My bitch is transgender ‘cuz she always got that sack with her.”

While promoting his work on Instagram, Da Packman assured his followers that his page is a “slut shaming free zone.”

On his debut album, the “Free Joe Exotic” artist collaborated with Lil Yachty, DDG, Sada Baby, Benny the Butcher, Coi Leray, Wiz Khalifa, and more. Now that he’s got more experience and confidence under his belt, there’s no telling what he’ll bring to the table in 2023.
