Now that Zaytoven is entering the latter stages of his career (even though he has not lost a step), he has been shifting his focus a bit. Of course, he is still working with the best of the best like Gucci Mane, Quavo, Lil Durk, and more. But, he is going back to where he found his passion for music, the Church. Very soon, Zay will be dropping a collaboration album with gospel rapper 1K Phew, who hails from Atlanta. On January 19 Pray For Atlanta will be available.

One of the other ways Zaytoven is moving on from the constant big-time collabs is by working alongside his son. His stage name is ZAYSKII and he has just come out with his debut album, I’m The One. NLE Choppa Brings Another Grizzly But Well-Written Track With “Purge On Em” Featuring DJ BOOKER

I think many would agree that when NLE Choppa goes ballistic on a track, he is at his absolute best. Well, that is this case tenfold on a new song he and DJ BOOKER just came by with. You can find it on their album fresh off the presses, The Chosen Ones. It is a collaborative album that features seven tracks and zero features.

A fair amount of the songs in the tracklist are handled production-wise by BOOKER. However, this is more of a Choppa track than anything else. “Purge On Em” was the second single ahead of the release. The first was “Mem,” which actually came out in 2022. “Purge On Em” was produced by Pluto Beats and Yokarza.

NLE hits a familiar pocket on this track, however, it is slowed down a bit. As we mentioned, the Memphis rapper is spitting murderously across this one. “All black attire, I cover my tats / And if I see a opp, I’ma slam like Shaq / Last n**** play with the gang, swear to god we left that boy limbs detached.” It is the closer and might be the most well-written song on the LP. ZAYSKII Creates A “Winnin” Melody On This Zaytoven-Produced Track

The greatest thing about music is that it can bring people closer together. There is something about the aura it creates that is unlike anything in the world. It is especially awesome when families become more tight-knit. That happens to be the case with Zaytoven and his son, ZAYSKII.

About a month ago, HNHH spoke with the legendary trap beatmaker about his kid’s debut project. “I’m putting his album out on January 2nd on his birthday. He turns 18.” He continued, “I’m excited about it because he watched me but at the same time, he’s not just trying to do it the exact same way I did. He got his own little twist and flavor to it, too.” It did not drop until the 5th, but we have the project on our hands now.

ScarLip Brings On NLE Choppa For A Remix Of Her High Octane Banger “Blick”

One of the most popular subgenres of hip-hop over the past couple of years has been drill. Additionally, Jersey club music is also seeping its way into rap as of late as well. I bring authenticity, unapologetic rawness, and aggression. I’m bringing pain back to rap. I’m always gonna bring the ugly side.”

We can certainly see what the 22-year-old is talking about. “Blick” is exactly that and more. The fast-paced beat induces that stank-face reaction and ScarLip’s energy is unapologetic. Stunna Girl And YG Reach New Levels Of Raunchy On “Stand Up”

Stunna Girl and YG are getting 2024 started off right. The pair didn’t wait long into the new year to share a new track and the song itself doesn’t hold anything back. It’s the first time the duo have collaborated on a song together and they brought out one raunchy bar after another for the hard-hitting banger. Over a Bankroll Got It beat the duo both flex their unique talents in the bedroom with a pair of short but ultimately very memorable verses. Listen to the entire song below.

“Stand Up” follows a 2023 that saw Stunna Girl releasing a few other notable collaborations. She found herself with a surprise hit in the song “Like Dat” which has amassed nearly 10 million streams on Spotify alone. To push the track even higher she recruited French Montana for a remix. Shortly after, she teamed up with JT of City Girls fame for yet another remix of the song. All three versions of the song sit among other tracks like “Real Rap” and “Pretty Privlidge” as some of her most-streamed music to date.

Stunna Girl Flexes On “Stand Up”

Meanwhile, YG may have had an even busier 2023. He released an entire collaborative project with Tyga called Hit Me When U Leave The Klub. The album also featured appearances from Lil Wayne, Busta Rhymes, and Blxst. The single “Brand New” with Lil Wayne served as quite the breakout hit with over 22 million Spotify streams since it dropped last year.

YG also made an appearance on Saweetie’s single “BIRTHDAY.” The song dropped right in the midst of a series of times the couple were spotted enjoying nights out together. The city of Detroit is continuing to produce some hot new talent with Veeze being one of them. Last year was one to remember for the 29-year-old sensation. His album Ganger brought him more mainstream attention than ever before. While his mumbly and lackadaisical style is not for everyone, he is certainly striking a chord with enough listeners. We came out with a list of five artists who we feel deserve more attention in 2024. Unfortunately, we did not include Veeze.

However, the reasoning for that was because we felt he was already pretty popular and too obvious of a pick. If there was an honorable mention part of the top five, he would be on there without a doubt. Now that the new year is here, Veeze is looking to get things off to a strong start. To do that he is teaming up with music video creators, Gallery Provence, for “WORST.”

BLP KOSHER Starts Off The New Year With A “Dreidel Bop”

During our Advent Calendar for the Christmas season, we came out with a listicle about five artists you should be paying closer attention to. We went with artists that have some semblance of a fan base but have not fully blown up. One of those artists we included was BLP KOSHER. The Jewish rapper hailing from Broward County, Florida began to come on strong in the latter half of 2023.

Bars Mitzvah, his second project, dropped back in early August and it became a sensation. Tracks like “Special K,” “The Nac 3,” “Wicked Miracle,” and more were some prime examples of the hits he had on it. Then, a couple of months later, he and the cloud rap icon from Sweden, Yung Lean, got together for “Violent Lullaby.”

Flatbush Zombies are one of the most respected trios in all of hip-hop. Their underground style has been a hit with a lot of people over the years.
