Bfb Da Packman Links With His “Hoe Friends” On Latest Release

It’s been relatively quiet from Bfb Da Packman since he shared his Fat N*ggas Need Love Too album last year. In November, “Trick” finally arrived on DSPs. Now, the rapper has returned with another new single, this one explicitly titled “Hoe Friends.”

As you may have guessed, his lyrics find the Michigan native comedically telling a story involving plenty of sexual antics. “I’m single now,” he surprisingly declares to listeners. “I got caught cheating with my bitche’s auntie.”

Prior to that Bfb shared bars about “[putting] Granny in a nursing home,” because she’s been “acting extra.”

The infectious production on “Hoe Friends” comes courtesy of BeatsbyTrav and Taz Taylor, as well as Yakree, a press release notes.

In the latter half of the brief song, he rhymes, “For real, rest in peace Mac Miller / She worked out all day just to come lay with a fat n*gga.” His jokes only continue with, “I could’ve made it far without you, I’m not Marvin Sapp, n*gga / My bitch is transgender ‘cuz she always got that sack with her.”

While promoting his work on Instagram, Da Packman assured his followers that his page is a “slut shaming free zone.”

On his debut album, the “Free Joe Exotic” artist collaborated with Lil Yachty, DDG, Sada Baby, Benny the Butcher, Coi Leray, Wiz Khalifa, and more. Now that he’s got more experience and confidence under his belt, there’s no telling what he’ll bring to the table in 2023.

Stream Bfb Da Packman’s “Hoe Friends” on Spotify or Apple Music below. Afterward, find more new releases from this weekend on our Fire Emoji playlist here.

Quotable Lyrics:

For real, rest in peace Mac Miller
She worked out all day just to come lay with a fat n*gga
I could’ve made it far without you, I’m not Marvin Sapp, n*gga

Benny The Butcher, Rick Hyde, Elcamino & Heem Drop “We Here”

The Black Soprano Family is bringing more and more talent out of Buffalo, New York. The Griselda off-shoot, led by Benny the Butcher, has just released a new track. Heem, Elcamino, Rick Hyde, and Benny the Butcher himself spit on “We Here,” the latest from the Black Soprano Family. Over a chilled-out but still sharp beat, each MC delivers cold and confident bars about their success. They’ve been riding high off of it from releases like their Gangsta Grillz mixtape with DJ Drama.

In addition to their prolific release schedule, the collective is also committed to honoring those who helped them on the way. DJ Shay, who is a key figure in the Buffalo hip-hop scene, tragically passed in 2020 due to COVID-19. Recently, Benny and the B$F crew spoke on his influence and good-hearted nature.

“That’s the epitome of Shay right there. He going to correct you because he take pride in mentoring the young n***as,” the Griselda rapper remarked. “So I’m saying, correcting you, pointing you in the right direction. Shay taught me, gave me my routine, too.”

Moreover, that drive and hunger is evident on “We Here.” Each MC has lines that will have you rewinding for another listen over an intoxicating beat. There’s a lot of detail in the verses, whether it’s the luxury brands they wear or their street experiences. Even if the topical focus is less grim or narrative, they still work some sharp lines in here. It’s a craft they’ve delivered consistently with singles like “297 Parkside.”

Rick Hyde opens up powerfully with “F**k them other n***as, s**t, my biggest opp was patience.” There’s also more clever metaphors, like “That’s why y’all be stayin’ out the way in this bucket of crabs.” Also, there’s some darkness in this track from moments like “I come from bad blocks, where murder was good business.”

You can find “We Here” by Benny the Butcher, Heem, Elcamino, and Rick Hyde on your preferred streaming service. Also, peep the music video and some standout bars below and stay tuned to HNHH for the latest heat from Buffalo.

Before them out of town shows, I was OT coppin’ (OT)

Ransom, Lloyd Banks & V Don Unleash “Short Notice”

High-caliber MCs are still feeding hip-hop fans all the way to the end of the year. Ransom and V Don are the latest to announce new music, as they’ve linked with Lloyd Banks to release the single “Short Notice.” The track seemingly comes in anticipation of another collab between the New York rapper and producer. They’ve announced Chaos Is My Ladder, an upcoming project from the two set to release sometime this December. Moreover, it follows a streak of quality singles and collaborations, from his October track “Sinatra’s Demons” to “Band of Brothers” with Benny the Butcher and 38 Spesh.

As expected, “Short Notice” is a no-frills track with heavy East Coast energy, from the dominant and emphatic performances to the heavy drums. There’s also some great sample work on display, with a rich instrumental pallet that makes the beat varied. For example, there are shimmering chimes, a passionate string section, acoustic guitar chords, and atmospheric keys. It may sound like a lot, but the way different elements come in and out of the song’s structure and mix is dynamic. It shows V Don’s versatility and production talent, who recently released a sharp collab album with Willie The Kid.

Meanwhile, Ransom and Lloyd Banks also hold their bars to that high standard. They’re able to give the lush beat a raw edge through their flows and authoritative deliveries. If anything, it shows how timeless and universal this sound is, and how it’s still able to captivate. They have a lot of legacy to uphold, as Lloyd Banks paid tribute to his late manager Hovain.

In terms of subject matter, the MCs address familiar street tales and attitudes with detailed perspectives. Also, their rhyme schemes don’t crumble under the weight of hardened upbringings and lost friends. As they rap about their credibility and movement, they are still hyper-focused on engaging flows and lines to back up their experiences.

You can find “Short Notice” by Ransom, Lloyd Banks, and V Don on your preferred streaming service. Also, you can find some notable lines from the single below and stay tuned to HNHH for the release of Chaos Is My Ladder this December.

MadeinTYO Returns With “Thinking To Myself” Single Ahead Of New Project

Countless new singles rolled into our inboxes this week, but one that really stands out is MadeinTYO’s “Thinking to Myself.” The new song specifically finds the 30-year-old reflecting on his aspirations of heading back to his former home of Tokyo, Japan.

In the accompanying music video, we see the rapper make his return to the foreign country. As a press release notes, at the time of its filming, he was the second U.S.-based artist to travel to Japan post-COVID.

Interestingly, the visual also stars IMMA – a well-known virtual social media model from Tokyo.

“Maybe I should slow down / The same ones that hated, see my shit turned around,” MadeinTYO reflects throughout his first few bars. “They told me that my shit was watered down / A couple plaques years later, man, look at me now.”

As the brief song comes to an end he adds, “I just wanna take a flight to Japan and never come back / Quit all this rap. I guess they want that old thing back.”

Just last month, we heard from the “Skateboard P” hitmaker on his four-track 24HRS In TOKYO EP. Prior to that, he linked up with Jay Worthy and Harry Fraud on “Earth Sky.”

At this time, specific details remain sparse, but we do know that the Hawaii native is gearing up to release a new project in the near future. His last full-length offering arrived back in 2021 in the form of Yokohama with UnoTheActivist.

The two stars teamed up with other artists like MDMA and KA$HDAMI for titles like “Ghostrider” and “Plug.”

Montreal’s Skiifall Drops “Fam Without Blood”

One of the most promising artists out of Canada is closing the year on a high note. Skiifall came through today with the release of his latest single, “Fam Without Blood.” The artist connects with Wondagurl, Rodiah McDonald, London Cyr, and frequent collaborator Yama//Sato, who team up for the song’s production. Skiifall glides with his unique blend of patois, English and French with a matter-of-fact flow. Meanwhile, the production boasts an eerie feel from the ominous soundscapes, accented by sliding 808s that Wondagurl became known for.

The song arrived alongside a new music video directed by Aimé-T. Irabahay, which finds Skiifall roaming through the night with his crew.

Skiifall’s coming off of an incredibly productive year. Since emerging with “Ting Tun Up” in 2021, he quickly became one of the most recognizable figures to come out of Canada. He closed out 2021 with “Break Of Dawn,” alongside BadBadNotGood, The Kount, and Yama//Sato before leaping into 2022 with “Bloodclart Business,” which he debuted on Colors. Since then, he’s remained relatively low-key, though he did link up with Lil Silva on “What If?”

However, it’s clear he’s gearing up for a massive year in 2023. “Fam Without Blood” follows the release of “I Can’t Feel My Mind (Freestyle)” last month.

In addition to his releases, he also hit the road with BadBadNotGood over the summer on their North American Talk Memory tour. Then, he hit the festival circuit across Europe.

If you aren’t familiar with Skiifall yet, make sure you press play on “Fam Without Blood” below and let us know your thoughts in the comments.

Lil Durk’s New Single Finds Him “Hanging With Wolves”

Since sharing his 7220 album in the early half of 2022, Lil Durk has been making steady appearances. We’ve heard him on singles both alone and with other popular artists. Previously, he connected with Doodie Lo on “Did Shit To Me.” Later we saw him connect with Kanye West and Cardi B on “Hot Shit.”

Most recently, the Chicago native is back to operating solo on a Chopsquad DJ-produced beat. His latest single, “Hanging With Wolves” sees him reflecting on the trials and tribulations of being a part of street life.

“They in my business, they tryna treat me like a menace, they tryna turn me down / You know I’m different, I’m walking around with my skinnies, I’m Saint Laurent down,” Durk flexes in his first few bars.

The “Laugh Now, Cry Later” hitmaker goes on to rap, “Saying ‘he stable,’ that n*gga had got off the table, so we had to calm down / Come to the ‘Raq with a rack, you think I’m dramatic, you n*ggas get shot down.”

As Yahoo notes, Durkio is currently working on a follow-up to Only The Family’s Loyal Bros compilation album. Details about that remain sparse at this time. Still, here’s hoping this latest single is just the first in a string of new releases from the collective.

The first half of 2022 was relatively quiet for Desiigner, but as the year comes to a close, he’s making sure his voice is heard. After sharing singles like “My Brodie” and “Star In The Room” in recent weeks, the 25-year-old is letting the world know that he’s only going to be getting “Bigger and Bigger” in 2023.

The “Panda” hitmaker’s new song arrived on Friday (December 9) and finds him feeling as boastful as ever. “Me and gang getting bigger and bigger / All around the world me and my hitters / Getting money can’t f*ck with my getters,” he tells listeners on the hook.

As a press release notes, Desiigner wanted to save the best for last with “Bigger and Bigger.” Speaking on his work specifically, the rapper says, “We’re going bigger and bigger in the mind. Levelling up on all our goals. Letting go of a lot of things we were hoarding onto.”

“Getting bigger and bigger from that and seeing more love. More things in your life that come through when you think in a bigger and bigger realm,” he added.

Previously, the recording artist kicked off the month by connecting with Slim Jxmmi on his “Kilo,” which fans have been raving about.

Despite enduring a tough year, 2016 XXL Freshman isn’t letting his personal struggles stop him. “Music is my therapy,” he explained. “I lost a lot of bros this year. We all say things out of emotions but the truth is in me.”

M.I.A. Prepares For Her “MATA” Album With “Beep” Single: Listen

M.I.A.’s excitement for her sixth studio album is incredibly evident, especially after she threatened to leak the project herself if it wasn’t on streamers before September ended.

Seeing as October has officially begun and MATA still hasn’t arrived, it’s clear that the English rapper didn’t get her wish, though she did announce that the record will land on October 14th while delivering her third single so far, “Beep.”

The upbeat, rhythmic track is all about using your voice to make sure that you’re heard while staying true to yourself. It follows the arrival of previous songs like “Popular” and “The One” earlier this year.

“Next gen transcend women and men / Bring a noise, make it count, yeah do it again / Never stop, never give up, don’t pretend / Tell a friend all the rules you’re gonna bend,” M.I.A. rhymes on one of her verses.

While we didn’t hear from any collaborators on the singles, the 47-year-old previously hinted that she worked with the likes of Doja Cat and Nicki Minaj on her upcoming LP.
