Yebba Finally Releases “Waterfall (I Adore You)” After Drake’s “Demand”

It is a darn shame that Yebba does not get the praise and recognition that she so deserves. Of course, what got her on the map was her work with Drake on Certified Lover Boy with “Yebba’s Heartbreak” back in 2021. The song has over 240 million streams on Spotify which is currently her most popular track. Other than that big co-sign, many people might have never been able to hear Yebba’s soothing voice. Hopefully, after hearing this brand-new single, she will not need any more help from bigger names.

The Arkansas singer, songwriter, and producer received a “demand” from Drake a few weeks ago to put out the full version of a song. On For All The Dogs, she has an outro section on the closing track, “Polar Opposites.” Yebba’s lyrics mainly contain the phrase “Baby, I adore you.” Apparently, this was part of a full song known as “Waterfall.”

Listen To “Waterfall (I Adore You) From Yebba And Sweata

Now, we have the official record and it goes by the title, “Waterfall (I Adore You).” There is a solo version with just Yebba, of course, but there is a second rendition. The other one features a little verse on the backend from Sweata. It is an absolutely beautiful song. Drake was absolutely right about requesting this to come out, it is a stunning ballad.

What are your initial thoughts on this brand-new song from Yebba, “Waterfall (I Adore You)?” Was this track worth the wait after Drake asked her to release it? Is Yebba one of the most underrated vocalists in music right now? We would like to hear what you have to say about all of this. With that in mind, be sure to leave all of your thoughts and opinions in the comments section below. Additionally, always keep it locked in with HNHH for all of the latest breaking news around Yebba, as well as all of the hottest song drops.

RUSSELL! Transforms Into Mr. Sweethartt On “JUST LIKE CANDY”

As we get deeper into the fall and inevitably, into the frigid winter climate, it’s safe to say that we’re quickly approaching cuffing season. Fortunately, RUSSELL! (formerly known as D-Pryde) came through with the perfect vibes for the occasion with the release of his new single, “Just Like Candy.” The Toronto-based singer’s latest single breaks his hiatus from music and introduces his alter-ego: Mr. Sweethartt. “JUST LIKE CANDY” divulges from the lover boy perspective, detailing the warmth of a woman’s love over nostalgically funky production.

“‘JUST LIKE CANDY’ was written during an interesting time in my life. I had made a friendship with a girl that inspired the song through a dance show she choreographed,” RUSSELL! explained in a press release. “I really wanted to aim for a song you can groove and dance to, but also makes you feel sexy within times of admiration and loneliness. I feel every guy that meets a girl he really likes, needs a soundtrack for the imaginary situations in his head that he may be thinking of when he thinks of that girl.”

RUSSELL! Makes His Return: New Music On The Horizon

The Filipino-Canadian artist is undoubtedly a groundbreaking figure in the Canadian music scene. He sprung to prominence as D-Pryde during the early days of YouTube, becoming an inescapable force online. He toured alongside J. Cole, collaborated with Bun B and Tory Lanez, and previously inked a deal with Rostrum Records, the label that Mac Miller was previously signed to. However, in the years that followed, he rebranded as RUSSELL! and elevated his artistry, straying away from the party-friendly bangers for a more mature, soulful sound.

With the release of “JUST LIKE CANDY” and its music video, which was both edited and creatively directed by RUSSELL!, he’s entering a new chapter in his career and we’re excited to see what he has in store on his forthcoming album. Press play on “JUST LIKE CANDY” above and sound off with your thoughts in the comments below.

Skilla Baby Is Looking For His “Bae” On New Single

Skilla Baby is fresh off the stove with his latest single, and he cooked up some boisterous but menacing material on “Bae.” Moreover, the track’s title might lead you to believe that this is a lovey-dovey melodic cut that lusts for a partner. However, he proves quickly through menacing piano keys, a grimy trap rhythm, and what sound like reversed piano strings that this track is anything but. The Detroit MC also keeps his trademark lackadaisical delivery, riding the beat with simple rhyme patterns and easy-to-follow flows. It’s not one of the most revolutionary releases you’ll hear this week, but it might be one of the hardest.

Overall, the song is about a woman that’s much more than what her suitors believe, whether it comes to her looks, her money, or her independence. As such, Skilla Baby combines these elements to make a track that’s as much of a pickup line as it is a boastful and hard-hitting street cut. While he doesn’t offer much from his personal perspective, this actually makes the record that much better, as it’s all about the “Bae.” Regardless of the track’s themes, it’s good to hear that the 24-year-old is keeping the stove hot for 2023. After all, he just released a collaborative tape this year with Tee Grizzley, Controversy, that is tough as nails.

Meanwhile, the “Gang Time” artist is one of many prominent voices establishing the D as a hotspot for hip-hop in pretty much every lane. In fact, he also contributed to Grizzley and fellow Detroit spitter Sada Baby mending their beef, so he can be leader in the scene as much as a component of it. Let’s hope that these careers continue to flourish. If you haven’t heard “Bae” yet, find it on your preferred streaming service and peep standout bars below. Also, stay posted on HNHH for more news on Skilla Baby and more great rap releases each week.

Valee & MVW Feel Like Pop Stars On New Single, “Tailor Swift”

Valee may have already dropped a collaborative album with Harry Fraud, Virtuoso, but he’s by no means done with 2023. Moreover, he just released a new single “Tailor Swift” with producer and multi-genre artist MVW, and it makes for a fitting and engaging listen. As such, it’s exciting to hear that their full-length collab project, VALEEDATION, will drop very soon on Friday, October 20. On it, we should expect more of the abstract piano playing, carefree delivery, witty lines, and zany vibes that this single displays. The Chicago MC has long been one of the scene’s most interesting and influential voices, and the fact that he’s still going should be a treat for everyone.

Furthermore, “Tailor Swift” hints towards this upcoming project being a little more off-kilter than usual for the 35-year-old- which is saying something. With just this cut to go by, it feels like the dwindling and odd rhythmic piano keys will be a big part of this, which might extend to other melodic elements. Sharp snares, hissy hi-hats, and atmospheric effects also contribute to this song’s hypnotizing nature, and hopefully MVW continued down this path a few more times along his beat-making travels. Of course, part of the excitement behind a Valee release is that you don’t really know what you’ll get until you get it. Still, you can count on his deadpan delivery, odd flows, and nonchalant lyrics to guide you through.

Meanwhile, VALEEDATION will be equally exciting from a rapping and production standpoint. Previous albums from Michael Vincent Waller like CONNECTIONS, which also featured the “Vibrant” lyricist, demonstrates the breadth of his abilities and influences. No matter what style or sound they decide to tackle, we’re probably getting one of the most unique and visionary underground albums of the year very soon. Lil Uzi Vert Gives Fans First Taste Of “Luv Is Rage 3” With NFL

Eclectic Philadelphia rapper Lil Uzi Vert is already on their way to dropping more projects. It has only been three months since they put out their first project in three years with Pink Tape. Although quite a decent audience was not really feeling Uzi’s blends of rage, trap, and metal, fans are still chomping at the bit. So much so, that two more are expected to be hitting streaming, hopefully, in the coming months.

Uzi has teased the Barter 16 and third installment in the Luv Is Rage relentlessly. Whether it be at concerts or on social media, they are promising it will be soon. In the meantime, we have a new single, which according to Genius, is expected to land on Luv Is Rage 3. “NFL,” which stands for “Never Fall In Luv,” gives us a good idea of how a fair amount of the project will sound. HipHopNMore caught wind of the song dropping.

Listen To “NFL” From Lil Uzi Vert

In addition to the song, they have also put together some visuals for it. On YouTube, it is already number 10 on trending in music, with over 585,000 views. Uzi is using an interesting flow and video game-esque beat, which they are no stranger to. They first gave fans notice that a song would be dropping a couple of days ago on their Instagram. “NFL vid30 0N Th3 W@Y [goat emoji] (never fall in luv) [broken heart emoji.” Fans are already digging the song and you can check it out for yourself above.

What are your initial thoughts on this brand new single, “NFL,” from Lil Uzi Vert? Based on how this sounds, will Luv Is Rage 3 be a better listen than Pink Tape? When do you think Uzi will put out this sequel? Is Barter 16 much farther away from coming out? We want to hear what you have to say about all of this. tobi lou & Young Thug’s “Cobra” Is Among The Waviest New Singles This Week

Nigerian-born and Chicago-raised artist tobi lou can most easily be referred to as simply that: an artist. To try to put his melodic tendencies, production approaches, and always diverse musical toolbox into a specific mold would take away from his appeal. Moreover, he’s been building something very special with assistance from producer FARADA with singles that he’s stacked on top of each other with each release, like a slowly-building album. One of their last releases was “Losing You,” and now they’ve come through with a genre-fusing odyssey with none other than Young Thug: “Cobra.”

Furthermore, the song is actually quite the long and progressive journey, with compellingly shifting structures and aesthetics. Sometimes, tobi lou’s soft croons and pitched-up vocal licks work with gentle guitar strums to craft an R&B jam. Other times, Thugger’s expressive inflections and faster flows bounce off sharp snares to make for a chill trap banger. There’s even house-inspired sections that give “Cobra” some unexpected hits of club-like energy, and it moves through all these phases with ease. Whether it’s thanks to the interesting vocal sample choices such as Soulja Boy or the consistently low-key timbres for all the production elements, its versatility doesn’t detract its high-impact structure.

Meanwhile, the “Caturday” multi-hyphenate’s consistent releases, week in and week out, are building up to a big splash. SNOT Shares New Single “Cruel World”

It’s been a prosperous year for rapper $NOT (pronounced snot), with several notable achievements. Earlier this year, the Billboard-charting artist announced the “Get Busy Or Die North American Tour” for 2023. The tour commenced on May 4 in Orlando, Florida, and concluded on June 22 in Nashville, Tennessee. This tour marked a significant moment in his career, connecting him directly with his devoted fan base. He’s decided to build on this momentum by releasing his latest track, “CRUEL WORLD,” which is available now. In this new release, he maintains his signature laidback style, delivering his lyrics with a monotonous tone that initially captured the hearts of his predominantly Gen Z audience. Throughout the song he names some of the things that he feels is “cruel” about the world.

“CRUEL WORLD” serves as a follow-up to his May single, “Easter Pink,” which further cemented his reputation as an artist to watch. Beyond singles, $NOT’s most recent full-length project, Ethereal, made waves when it dropped in February 2022. This 14-track endeavor boasted impressive guest appearances by renowned artists like Juicy J, A$AP Rocky, Trippie Redd, Kevin Abstract, Joey Bada$$, and Teddi Jones. Since its release, fans have been treated to visually captivating music videos for tracks like “Benzo,” “5AM,” and the Rocky-assisted “Doja,” making $NOT’s journey in the music industry a compelling one to follow.

$NOT Continues The Momentum

Before Ethereal, $NOT introduced his 2020 album, “Beautiful Havoc,” which garnered considerable attention due to its well-received singles. Among these standout tracks were “Life,” “Like Me,” featuring iann dior, and “Sangria,” featuring Denzel Curry. In 2021, $NOT emerged as one of the most exciting artists to watch, thanks to his distinct sound that offered a refreshing and unique perspective in the music landscape.

His innovative approach to music and consistent delivery of captivating singles made him a noteworthy figure in the industry. The consistent delivery of music further solidifies his place in the hearts of his fans. Despite his already busy schedule, $NOT shows no signs of slowing down.

Megan Thee Stallion & Cardi B Collab Single Rumors Surface Online

Two of the most revered and successful femcees in today’s rap game might have another hit single on the way. Moreover, The Neighborhood Talk recently sparked industry rumors that, apparently, Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion will drop another collaborative single soon. Of course, the duo is well-known for their massive song “WAP,” which is as beloved as it is divisive online. However, with no real information or reports to substantiate this, take it with a grain of salt, as it’s just industry hearsay. Regardless, it’s promising and exciting news considering their previous banger and how talented the two rappers are.

Unfortunately, both have been relatively radio silent when it comes to new solo material, though that might change soon. That being said, it would be very understandable if Megan Thee Stallion takes some time before returning to the hip-hop release game. She’s still performing and things like that, but the case against Tory Lanez and her feud with her label took a heavy toll on her. Now that she can heal and be more unencumbered by that scandal, hopefully she’s able to move forward as an artist in any way she sees fit.

Cardi B & Megan Thee Stallion Might Drop Something Soon

Furthermore, on Cardi B’s end, it looks like she’s gearing up for her highly anticipated album at her own pace, too. For example, she recently gave an update that hints that she’s only dropping solo material for now, and no more offshoot collabs. As such, maybe these Megan Thee Stallion collab rumors relate to a single for said project. Either way, there should be some exciting material from the Bronx artist soon.

“I’m not going to release any more collaborations, I’m going to put out my next solo single,” she remarked to Vogue Mexico. “Right now I’m working on the cover art and ideas for the next record because it’s definitely coming up. So stay tuned because it’s coming out very soon. I also have plans in the world of cinema. In fact, I have plans to do everything I can: fashion, branding… I want to do it all, honey.” For more news and the latest updates on Megan Thee Stallion and Cardi B, check back in with HNHH.

Earl Sweatshirt Drops “Sentry” With MIKE Off The Alchemist Collab Album: Watch

Earl Sweatshirt and MIKE just dropped off the Alchemist-produced track “Sentry,” the first release off of the Odd Future affiliate and the legendary beatmaker’s upcoming collaborative album Voir Dire. While it didn’t officially hit streaming services or YouTube (and we have no official release date for the project), this new track and music video spread around the Internet and social media. With a release party scheduled for this Friday (August 25), there’s good reason to believe that we’re getting this highly anticipated collab soon. What’s more is that it’s great to see Earl and MIKE collaborate given how much they’ve inspired and drawn from each other’s work.

Moreover, the track (like most of Uncle Al’s production) is a dense, earthy, and haunting sample loop that perfectly fits the MCs’ more laidback demeanor. It’s also phrased and chopped in a very interesting way, as Earl Sweatshirt and MIKE take completely different approaches when it comes to flow. The former tackles it in regular 4/4 time, or at least sounds like it, whereas the latter employs a triplet flow, switching up how “Sentry” hits rhythmically. It may be a stark and minimal soundscape, but it heightens the abstract and personal lyrics at play. Furthermore, these three creatives make a lot out of a little, using unconventional and unique approaches to turn a chop and some bars into so much more.

Earl Sweatshirt & The Alchemist’s “Sentry” With MIKE: Watch The Music Video

Meanwhile, in the music video, they simply rap in an empty and coldly lit hallway, but don’t seem disheartened by their circumstances. This often sums up their lyricism: despondent, reflective, and downtrodden; yet always resilient, vivid, and hungry. As he celebrates ten years since his first studio album Doris, Earl is still putting out high-caliber material with remarkable consistency and an emotive punch. If you haven’t heard “Sentry” yet, find it with the link below or watch the video above. Also, stick around on HNHH for more on Earl Sweatshirt, MIKE, The Alchemist, and Voir Dire.
