Tee Grizzley’s Goes Through Near-Death Experience In “Robbery 7” Music Video

Tee Grizzley has continued his “Robbery” series by sharing the seventh installment for fans on Friday. In a music video for the track, Grizzley faces a near-death experience and converses with God to find forgiveness for his actions before returning to the world of the living. He concludes the first verse with the brutally honest lines: “I felt the еmbrace, it’s been a minute since I dropped tears / I’m like, ‘What about all them shootings? What about all them n****s that died? / All the hurt I put in they family heart, all the fear I put in they eyes’ / Said, ‘Everything gon’ make sense, just not right now / You came close, but you ain’t die, it’s not your time.’”

In response to the music video on YouTube, fans have been loving the new release. “The lyrical story telling with the cinematography to match will never get old,” one top comment reads. Another fan posted: “Man this so hard I love the message about GOD in the beginning that was hard,” with several fire emojis. In other news, Grizzly recently linked up with J Cole to film a music video in New York City. Further details on the unreleased song are unclear but check out Grizzly’s newest single, “Robbery 7,” below. Be on the lookout for further updates on Tee Grizzley on HotNewHipHop.

Saucy Santana Goes “Bizerk” On Fierce New Single

Saucy Santana fans have been waiting for new music from the “Material Girl” for a few months now, and luckily, he’s finally delivered. Last week, he unveiled a brand-new single called “Bizerk,” and it’s just as fierce as the title would suggest. The track is defined by playful lyrics and club-ready production, and so far, listeners are impressed. He spits about making a man’s “pockets hurt” and stunting in designer clothes, among several other “hot girl” activities.

The track follows the release of Saucy Santana’s single “Standin’ On Bidness!” which he unveiled in January of this year. It also follows his various high-profile collabs with the likes of Latto, Flo Milli, and even Madonna. At the time of writing, it remains unclear when he plans to unleash his next full-length project, though he has been teasing a couple of upcoming singles on social media as of late.

Aside from thriving in his musical endeavors, Saucy Santana is also featured in season three of College Hill: Celebrity Edition, which premiered last week on BET Plus. Drama already seemed to be brewing between him and Claudia Jordan, due to some of her past remarks about him on social media and on her show. What do you think of Saucy Santana’s new single? Will you be adding “Bizerk” to your summer playlist or not? Who do you want to see him team up with next? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Fridayy Looks For The “Baddest In The Room” On New Single: Stream

Fridayy is keeping the good vibes coming in 2024 with his latest single “Baddest In The Room,” a track that sums up his lust when he spots exactly that in the middle of the party. Moreover, it follows previous singles like the Chainsmokers collab “Friday” and a more direct display of balladry and melancholy with the March cut “Without You.” In comparison to those cuts, this one takes more inspiration from dancehall and Afrobeat rhythms and tones, but the vocals and harmonies are firmly within the R&B tradition.

Furthermore, the main instrumental draw to “Baddest In The Room” is a rustic acoustic guitar lick that contrasts with airy synthesizers and deep synthetic bass. Fridayy is able to work with both timbres quite well as far as how his vocals match, but it’s also not that notable of a switch-up or change of pace compared to all his other material. He’s definitely come a long way from his debut self-titled album last year, and has even further to go.

With that in mind, we’re excited to hear where the “When It Comes To You” crooner takes us next. If you haven’t heard Fridayy’s “Baddest In The Room” yet, find it on your preferred streaming service or check out the visualizer on YouTube a bit further down. Peep some notables lines below as well, and let us know what you think of the record in the comments section. Also, as always, stick around on HNHH for more soothing R&B drops around the clock.

Chance The Rapper’s New Single “Stars Out” Leaves Fans With High Expectations For Upcoming Album

Chance The Rapper fans have been looking forward to a new project from the hitmaker for years now, and it finally looks like one is on the horizon. Earlier today, he unveiled his brand new single, “Stars Out.” The track arrived alongside a minimalistic accompanying music video, and so far, fans are impressed. It’s expected to appear on his upcoming album, Star Line Gallery, which he officially announced in April of this year.

Listeners sharing their reactions to the new single on social media, revealing that it’s given them high hopes for the rest of the album. “Stars Out” follows Chance’s single “Buried Alive,” which he also unleashed back in April. That similarly had fans looking forward to hearing what else he has to offer on his next LP, and anticipating a major comeback for the Chicago artist.

IDK Links With Gunna For Flexing Anthem “TiFFANY”

IDK is seemingly recruiting an all-star lineup for his next album, as he drops “TiFFANY” with trap superstar Gunna. We say that because the London, England rapper and singer grabbed Joey Bada$$ for “DENiM”, the lead single for BRAVADO INTiMO. On the previous track, IDK and Joey both brought it over a smooth boom-bap flavored beat. With that in mind, Gunna certainly had some pretty big shoes to fill following “DENiM”. The Atlanta lyricist does succeed, especially when it comes to sticking to the topical focus of “TiFFANY”. That being that living for the grind will put you ahead of so many other people in life.

I’m the type that could never lose (Never lose) / I’m the type that be breakin’ rules / And I’m breakin’ backs, gotta bring it back“, IDK raps on the first few bars of his verse. Also making this track go is the trap beat cheffed up by Kenny Stuntin, EVRGRN, and Turbo, the latter being a frequent producer of Gunna’s. It helps this first-time link-up more seamless between two fairly different rappers. As for BRAVADO INTiMO, the details are pretty scarce. Outside of the title and the tandem of singles, the release date and cover art are unknown. It is expected to hit streaming sometime this year, though. It will eventually follow up on the massive F65, which also had a star-studded cast of Benny The Butcher, Snoop Dogg, NLE Choppa, Rich The Kid, and more.

Boldy James & Conductor Williams Establish Their “Terms And Conditions” On New Single: Stream

When it comes to conversations about the best hip-hop artists, what matters most: who’s been the best over time, or who is the best right now? We’ll let you decide for yourself, but on that last note, few MCs are as consistent right now as Boldy James, and few producers have quite the current catalog that Conductor Williams does. As such, it’s no surprise that their upcoming collab album Across The Tracks, set for a June 28 release, quickly became one of the most anticipated projects of the year for rap fans.

Furthermore, we just got our first taste of how good this album will likely come out thanks to the project’s first single, “Terms And Conditions.” The “Mr. Perfect” spitter brings his usually sharp street wordplay and particularly marks the differences between his beginning and his current form, whereas the “Mercury Thermometers” beatsmith employs a grand and triumphantly harmonic vocal sample with a dry and simple drum break. It’s a powerful combo from Boldy James and Conductor Williams, setting a lavish and tender tone without compromising its grittiness.

Meanwhile, recent collab projects like Boldy James’ Penalty Of Leadership album with Nicholas Craven this year and Conductor Williams’ CONDUCTOR MACHINE EP with Conway The Machine last December are further proof that Across The Tracks is going to be very special. If you haven’t heard “Terms And Conditions” yet, find it on your preferred streaming service or check it out on YouTube below. Down there, you can find the comments section for you to leave your thoughts on the record plus some notable lines. Also, as always, come back to HNHH for the latest great music drops around the clock.

LL Cool J Is Back And Better Than Ever On New Single “Saturday Night Special”

Late last week, LL Cool J announced that he’d finally be making a comeback with a new single, “Saturday Night Special.” As if that wasn’t enough exciting news for one day, the NYC legend also teased a new full-length project, which he expects to be ready by this fall. He didn’t share too many more details about the album at the time, which does not yet have a name, though he promises to reveal features, a tracklist, and more once the release date gets closer. It’ll be his first album in more than a decade, so it’s safe to say that fans are eager to see what he has up his sleeve.

Based on the sound of “Saturday Night Special,” however, it should be good. LL Cool J unveiled the new single today, complete with verses from Fat Joe and Rick Ross, as well as a simple yet impactful black and white accompanying music video. The bouncy, Q-Tip-produced track feels like a journey back in time and sees the rappers dissect street politics with impressive precision. On it, LL Cool J manages to send the message that he’s back, focused, and sharper than ever.

What do you think of LL Cool J’s new single? What about Rick Ross and Fat Joe’s verses? Will you be adding “Saturday Night Special” to your summer playlist? Are you looking forward to hearing his upcoming album when it arrives this fall? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Saint James Opens Up A Fresh “Jordan Box” With Estee Nack & Rome Streetz On New Single: Stream

Following the release of “Mr. Perfect” with Elcamino and Boldy James, London producer Saint James is back with another grimy banger with “Jordan Box.” This time, he enlisted Rome Streetz and Estee Nack as his MCs on the beat, the latter of which is fresh off his SYSTEMATICALLY WE WERE NEVER FREE collab project with Boneweso. As for this new track, the instrumental is built around an occasionally crashing but mostly measured drum break, laser sound effects, and of course, the main woodwind melody.

Overall, it’s quite the ethereal and breezy production for Estee Nack and Rome Streetz to rap over, and Saint Jame$ does a great job of building that atmosphere. Lyrically, Estee wraps the track up with a rambling second verse that has a lot of dynamic flow switches and a pretty loose feel, which works in this dreamy context more than it usually does. As for the “Ya Understand” spitter, he sounds a bit more lively in the track’s opening verse, but also boasts some impressive rhyme schemes and street-informed wordplay.

If you’re curious to check out more from Rome Streetz, he just dropped his Buck 50 EP with Wavy Da Ghawd, and hopefully Saint Jame$ ends up being just as prolific as he and Estee Nack are. After all, we’re sure that a lot more gems would emerge as a result. If you haven’t heard “Jordan Box” yet, find it on your preferred streaming service or check it out on YouTube below. Drop your thoughts on the cut down in the comments section and find some standout bars there as well. Also, as always, stick around on HNHH for more killer rap releases around the clock.

NoCap Keeps A “Baby Drake” On New Single: Stream

NoCap is making a strong return in 2024 with his brand new single “Baby Drake,” which creatively debuts as (maybe) the first rap song in history to refer to Adonis as a chopper. Jokes aside, this is exactly the kind of sound fans would expect from The Main Bird, mixing some cheeky and outrageous lyricism with a laidback beat and drowsy, ear-grabbing deliveries. His studio sessions with the likes of G Herbo and Kodak Black have definitely sharpened his tool box as far as coming through with unorthodox flows and creating a melancholy but still hardened vibe.

Furthermore, “Baby Drake” achieves this partly through a guitar-backed beat, bringing what sounds like a dramatic soul sample back to Earth with crisp hi-hats, deep bass, and sharp rimshots. It’s a pretty lush and bouncy atmosphere for NoCap to glide over as he raps about his distaste for unworthy competitors in the rap game and his ascent within it. There’s also a slight sense of loss here contrasted with lust, much like his feature on Monaleo’s “Miss U Already.”

Meanwhile, NoCap still has some legal issues, such as the use of his music video in a murder case. But these obstacles aside, it’s clear that he has no plans of slowing down this year, and will likely have some more heat for his listeners coming soon. On that note, if you haven’t heard “Baby Drake” yet, find it on your preferred streaming service or check the music video out below. Let us know what you thought of it down in the comments section and find some notable lines from the song down there, too.
