50 Cent & Big Meech Team Up To Tease Upcoming Collab

It’s been roughly a month since Big Meech was released from prison, and he’s now serving the remainder of his sentence at a Florida halfway house. He since appears to have been making the most of his newfound freedom with manicures, dental work, and more. Recently, he even got the opportunity to hang out with 50 Cent. As an executive producer of a TV series about the Black Mafia Family, BMF, fans figured think link-up would happen eventually.

At the time of writing, it remains unclear exactly what was discussed during their meeting, but it seems as though they had plenty to talk about. It also looks like they’re working on something big together. “GreenLight Gang… Ultimate Hustler edition… Camera speed, rolling and action. BMF BIG MEECH,” 50 Cent captioned his post. Unsurprisingly, the photo is now making its rounds online as fans share their excitement for the upcoming collab.

Fif is far from the only person glad to see Big Meech out of prison, as countless other celebrities have shown him their support since his release. This includes Boosie Badazz, Rick Ross, Sexyy Red, and many more. LeBron James even got called out by critics for posting a positive message for him on X. “Welcome home Big Meech!!” his post read simply. Some users argued that it was wrong to glorify Big Meech considering his past, and accused him of sending the wrong message to his younger fans.

Big Meech’s son, Lil Meech, also shared an uplifting post about his release which has since been deleted. In it, he made it clear that he’d been waiting for his father’s release for quite some time. “This is all i ever wanted,” he wrote. “Thank you God.” His heartfelt message was accompanied by footage of Big Meech getting a manicure and chatting on the phone while wearing a diamond BMF chain.

Baka Not Nice Proves He’s Still Around By Posing For Photo With Drake

It’s been several months since Kendrick Lamar unleashed his hit Drake diss, “Not Like Us.” In it, he accuses the Toronto rapper and his associates of being predators. Famously, he even called one of them out by name, Baka Not Nice. “Baka got a weird case, why is he around? / Certified Lover Boy? Certified pedophiles,” he raps.

Baka is a former bodyguard and longtime friend of Drake’s. He was arrested for allegedly forcing a woman into prostitution in 2014, according to Complex. He pleaded guilty to assaulting the same woman in 2015. Procuring for prostitution and human trafficking charges against him were reportedly dropped because the woman decided not to testify. He was sentenced to six months behind bars. Amid Drake’s viral feud with Kendrick, Baka has stuck by the OVO Sound co-founder’s side. Last night, he even took to his Instagram Story to share a new photo alongside Drake.

Of course, Instagram users in 2cool2bl0g‘s comments section are hard at work trolling the OVO signee. “Why is he around ,” one of them asks. “Don’t he got a weird case?” another wonders. Despite all the clowning, it’s clear that Baka and Drake are on good terms. Baka’s post doesn’t necessarily come as a huge surprise, considering he’s been rooting for Drake for several months now, but it does serve as a reminder that he’s still very much in the picture.

In September, for example, he took to Instagram to share his thoughts on Kendrick’s surprise release “Watch The Party Die.” He didn’t hold back, making it apparent that he was not a fan. “Sh*t sounds like them shoes look,” he wrote, referencing the artwork. GloRilla Looks Almost Unrecognizable While Showing Off Her Natural Hair Growth

GloRilla stole a whole lot of rap fans’ hearts in 2024, if she hadn’t already stolen them from her breakout 2022. As such, fans are always interested to hear what she has to say about her everyday life, especially when it comes to relatable and culturally significant matters such as Black hair. Recently, the “Sticky” femcee took to Instagram to share a picture of her natural hair, along with some insightful comments that caused discussion and community among her fans. “I’m so tender headed I keep my braids up fa a whole 4 months before I get em redid [crying emoji],” she captioned the new photos. “at least my hair growing.”

However, GloRilla now has some other issues to deal with beyond her hair growth, and so do various other of her rap peers. Plies recently launched a lawsuit against her, Megan Thee Stallion, Cardi B, and Soulja Boy for alleged copyright infringement, claiming that they used his “Me & My Goons” instrumental without proper permission. The tracks in question include Glo, Meg, and Cardi’s “Wanna Be,” plus Soulja’s “Pretty Boy Swag.”

Elsewhere, other GloRilla connections to her fanbase didn’t land as universally as these pics of her natural hair, especially when it comes to the United States election. Following Donald Trump’s victorious campaign to be the nation’s president, she made (and then deleted) a joke about birth control reacting to this news. “I been got on birth control anyway,” the Memphis lyricist shared and then rescinded. She previously endorsed Kamala Harris for U.S. president, even performing at her Milwaukee rally recently. There are a lot of other divisive and strong reactions to this political development, but for some folks, it’s still too soon to make light of other issues or even speak on them casually.

But one division that GloRilla wants to combat is her previous and brief beef with former City Girl JT, something that she attributed solely to fanbase bickering during a recent interview. She maintained that they’re actually cool, and that the fans just went too far with their debates. There are plenty of other chances for unity, even through something as seemingly innocuous as hair.

In August, the duo was spotted sitting courtside together during a basketball game at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Shortly after, the athlete left a flirty comment under one of Whitfield’s Instagram photos, further fueling fans’ speculation.

Now, however, they appear to have made things official. Today, in honor of National Boyfriend Day, Whitfield hopped online to celebrate James. She shared a photo of the two of them posing alongside Mickey Mouse at Disneyland, adding a sweet message. “BF day,” the Spelman College sophomore wrote simply. “I love you!” James later took to his own Instagram Story with a heartfelt message of his own.

He shared Whitfield’s post, writing “I love you babyyyyy [kissing emoji].” His newly-public romance isn’t the only thing James has to be excited about these days, however. He’s currently preparing for the upcoming NBA season. He’ll be playing for the Lakers with his father and teammate, LeBron James. In July of this year, the power forward spoke about the honor in an interview with Today, telling the outlet that he hopes they’ll be able to separate their father-son dynamic from their dynamic as teammates.

“I’m going to hold him accountable, and he should hold me accountable when I do things not right,” he explained at the time. “I can separate dad from teammate. Hip-hop in general has had an importantly resurgent year thus far in 2024. You can certainly point to a lot of MCs for that. However, producers, like usual, are contributing their fair share as well. One of them has been Mustard (DJ Mustard). After remaining quite silent for a little while, these first nine months have been opposite. You’ve heard his producer tag all throughout the summer thanks to his production on Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us”. Additionally, though, you can point to his latest solo album, Faith Of A Mustard Seed. He was able to grab tons of impressive guests, including Travis Scott, Young Thug, ScHoolboy Q, Quavo, Roddy Ricch, and more.

Hopefully, very soon, we can add Dr. Dre to this conversation. Over the last couple of months or so, we have been receiving some encouraging updates surrounding Missionary. It’s being billed as the sequel project to Doggystyle, which of course is Snoop Dogg’s iconic debut. Dr. Dre is handling all of its production and there’s some belief that November will be the month it arrives. It would make sense, as the 23rd of that month will mark the 31st anniversary of Doggystyle. But while that’s in the works, Dr. Dre is taking some time away to meet up with Mustard.

According to HipHopDX, the Perfect Ten creator shared the photo of them in the studio together with the caption, “Back in the lab with my pen and my pad.” This could mean a lot of things. One, Mustard could be receiving some knowledge from one of the West Coast pioneers. He could just be referencing some of Dre’s iconic lyrics. Or they could be cooking up some beats for Missionary. Just weeks later, she shared a photo of them kissing on Instagram, which appeared to confirm they were still an item.

This left fans concerned and confused, particularly as Bhad Bhabie just welcomed her first child with him earlier this year. Amid all of this, she hopped online to share a bizarre message about him. “@xgamelv looking for a bbl latina h*e must b rich and have a house and cars he can use,” she wrote. This, of course, only added to the confusion.

Ab-Soul Poses With Kendrick Lamar Grammys Performance Photo In 2Pac Shirt

It’s no secret that Ab-Soul and Kendrick Lamar go way back, and recently, Ab-Soul decided to show his fellow Black Hippy artist some love by looking back on one of his most memorable moments. In a new photo making its rounds online, he poses in front of a photo of Kendrick’s 2016 jail cell performance at the Grammys, flexing the large Top Dawg Entertainment tattoo on his arm. Moreover, he rocked a 2Pac t-shirt in the photo. This could have been a nod to Kendrick’s beef with Drake or a simple coincidence.

Fans on X are loving the photo, particularly after Kendrick and Ab-Soul reunited at the former’s “Pop Out” in June. The LA show was the first time Kendrick performed his Drake diss tracks after their viral beef, and he enlisted the help of Ab-Soul for “6:16 In LA.” Of course, he backed Kendrick throughout the entire feud, though he doesn’t seem sold on the idea that Drake can’t redeem himself.

In June of this year, Lil Uzi Vert made headlines for their participation in a Marc Jacobs campaign. The performer posed with the brand’s 40th-anniversary bag in collaboration with Stephen Sprouse. Unfortunately, this resulted in a great deal of clowning online. Uzi’s never been one to hide their true colors after a bit of criticism, however.

In fact, new photos circulating online show them posing for even more photos for the brand, joined by a special guest. Kai Cenat is featured in the photos, rocking a fuzzy black jacket, leather pants, and a pair of white shades. As for Uzi, they sported a sleeveless rhinestone-studded dress, a small black handbag, and dark sunglasses.

As expected, the photo has elicited mixed reactions from social media users. Most are here for the unexpected collaboration, however, and can’t wait to see more. With that being said, they look to have been spending more time together due to the campaign, so it might be closer than ever. “Uzi on stream is going to be f***ing insane,” Cenat told fans in June.

Earlier this week, a judge denied his request for release on bond. “I am not going to reconsider any bond issues that have already been ruled on absent legitimate changed circumstances,” she declared.

The judge in question was Paige Reese Whitaker, who was assigned to the case last month after two other judge’s recusals. While the rapper may not be seeing an end to his long-winded legal battle anytime soon, he’s got at least one thing going for him, his relationship with Mariah The Scientist. The Atlanta-born songstress was recently spotted supporting him in court, wearing a smile as she looked on from her seat.

Mariah has never shown any signs of straying from the relationship amid Young Thug’s incarceration. Diddy Shows “Love” To His Youngest Daughter On Instagram Amid Legal Woes

He’s accused of sexual assault, physical abuse, and more. He was even seen attacking his ex-girlfriend Cassie in security footage from 2016 that surfaced earlier this year. Diddy wound up apologizing for that, though aside from denying the allegations, he hasn’t said much else about his ongoing legal woes.

Regardless, the mogul appears to be enjoying his summer. He returned to Instagram last week to celebrate his daughter Chance’s birthday with a heartfelt post. “My babygirl turned 18 today.
