There’s a 1Take over going on right now in Los Angeles.

Just like 1TakeJay did a few weeks ago, 1TakeBoyz’s 1TakeQuan follows suit with a new project of his own, sharing the new mixtape Back 2 Back, which he accessorized with a new music video for the project’s first single, “Love Talk.” The tape and music video arrives on top of the viral wave Quan is riding right now due to the popularity of his latest track, “Single.”

With a runtime of 34 minutes, the 12-song collection spot 1TakeQuan collab with buzzing artists Big Hube, Tyler J, Chxnk, and, of course, the usual suspects Rucci and 1TakeBoyz. Along with “Single” and “Love Talk,” the project includes breakout songs “Chitlins,” “Bubble Coat” and “I’m Tripping.” Known for his playboy antics, Quan shows a different side of him in the music we rarely hear from a member of the rowdy crew.

On “Love Talk,” featuring 1TakeOcho and Tyler J, 1TakeQuan is an office manager seducing his co-worker as she flaunts around in lingerie, showering the recording artist with money. Ocho and Tyler enjoy bedroom rendezvous with beauties of their own while they rap hypnotizing verses of enticing persuasion. The video is directed by CreatedByBlu.

Back 2 Back is 1TakeQuan’s fourth mixtape. Breakin through in 2016, outside 1TakeBoyz music, Quan is best known for his 2019 collaboration with Roc Nation’s Kalan Frfr, “Freak,” the same year Quan drops his debut mixtape, Quebaall. Today, 1TakeQuan’s uncensored energy, unique rugged tone & unforgettable performance style has earned him the moniker of “ultimate ratchet” in the group.

Gucci Mane Drops NBA YoungBoy Diss ‘Publicity Stunt’

Gucci Mane is not the one.

After YoungBoy Never Broke Again dissed him on “I Hate YoungBoy,” Guwop has responded with his own diss. On “Publicity Stunt,” the 1017 Records boss takes thinly-veiled shots at an unnamed rapper.

“He’s tryna pull a publicity stunt / These rappers be pussy, they bleed once a month / Don’t speak on my name, don’t get put in a blunt / You can diss all you want, still won’t get a response,” raps Gucci.

“Stop beatin’ ’round the bush and just get to the point / You wanna be me, I know what you want,” he continues. “But you ain’t gotta pull no publicity stunt / Live by the gun, then you die by the gun / Ain’t gotta care ’bout the shit that I done / My ni**a got bond and he went on the run.”

Later, he asks, “Why you diss me for publicity, ni**a? / Is you in the streets or a industry ni**a? / Is you my fan or my enemy, ni**a? / My money too grown to be kiddin’ with ni**as.”

At the end of the track, he also references a lyric off YoungBoy’s AI YoungBoy 2 song “Make No Sense.” “I thought you felt like Gucci Mane in 2006,” says Gucci, who also used the line in his Instagram caption.

Last month, YoungBoy called out Gucci, along with Lil Durk and Lil Baby, on “I Hate YoungBoy.” The diss includes the lyrics, “Used to f**k with Gucci till I see he like them pussy ni**as.”

On Friday, YoungBoy and DaBaby dropped their joint project Better Than You.

Omah Lay and Justin Bieber Team Up on ‘Attention’

Justin Bieber comes through with another global smash.

After scoring a hit with WizKid on “Essence,” the pop superstar reconnects with Nigerian newcomer Omah Lay on their Afro-fusion jam “Attention.” Omah brings Bieber into his vibrant world on the laidback groove, with its seductive synths and gentle drums.

They bring the sensual song to life in the Colin Tilley-directed video, which finds them catching a vibe under the glow of a bonfire party.

“Attention” follows “Free My Mind” and arrives ahead of Omah’s debut album Boy Alone, due this April. On March 20, the 24-year-old singer will embark on his “Boy Alone” world tour.

Bieber is currently on his “Justice World Tour,” which kicked off last month.
