Larry June and Minnesota-born producer Cardo Got Wingz are a perfect pairing. They have proven that time and time again over the past few years. Their work relationship dates back to 2020 with Cruise Usa. It was a short eight-track project that gave us our first look at what this duo could produce in the future. June and Cardo noticed what they could accomplish together, so they wasted little to no time.

In 2021 they put out their second LP, Into The Late Night. From there these two established a reputation for crafting effortless after-hours cruising cuts. Now, since August of this year, June and Cardo have been getting ready for their third helping of cuts. The first of which was “The Good Kind.” It has the ultimate feeling of summer and driving around town with all of the windows and sunroof open.

Armani White And TroyBoi Finally Have A Track Together With “Shut S*** Down”

TroyBoi has been one of the best producers over the past decade or so. He is not your traditional hip-hop beatmaker though. If you have kept up with his career, Troy’s production style is more bouncy and includes lots of plucky and almost “cute” instrumentation as well. He is also famous for his knack for creating fun remixes to artist’s tracks. The UK native has worked alongside some big names throughout his tenure and he now adds a budding star to the list. He grabs Armani White for his lead single, “Shut S*** Down.”

This track will appear on an upcoming EP in December. It may be the title track seeing as the tour he is going on has the same name. That kicks off on November and will wrap up on December 16. In an article from PressParty, Troy recalls how he connected with the Philly rapper several years ago. “I was first introduced to Armani back in 2015 when I heard a remix he did of my track ‘Do You?.’ I was so impressed with his flow and delivery. We connected soon after that and became a fan of his work ever since.

He then details how this track came to be. Troy says, “When I made the beat for ‘Shut S*** Down’ I knew it needed someone on it with a charismatic energy and a crazy flow. You might have heard one of his songs on the radio recently. “Calm Down,” especially the version with pop star Selena Gomez has been one of the biggest hits of the year. It lands on the latest edition of his debut project, Rave & Roses Ultra. The undeniable grooves and melodies on the song have made it a global phenomenon. At the time of writing this, it sits at nearly 1.1 billion plays.

Another song you will hear his voice on is Ice Spice’s new track, “Pretty Girl.” It sees the femcee do a total 180° to fit Rema’s style. While many casual listeners most likely only know these two cuts because of the names attached to them, you might want to hear more of his material. He can flat-out make great listening experiences on his own.

Cochise Has Fans Going Crazy With New Single “LUKAKU”

The state of Florida might have the most diverse and unique rappers out of them all. We have seen so many voices turn into stars whether it be in the underground or the mainstream. One that sort of teeters on that fine line between the two is Cochise. He is not as popular as a Kodak Black, but he does not have 500,000 monthly listeners either. In fact, he currently has close to 5 million.

Cochise has been giving fans quite a decent amount of material to chew on over the course of this year. Before the release of his newest single, “LUKAKU,” he has gone on to put out four others as well. In addition, one of those, “KANEKI,” is a part of his seven-track EP, NO ONE’S NICE TO ME. In fact, they have a collaboration album together, Memory Lane. Released back in 2021, it boasted a tight 12-song tracklist. Only one Trippie Redd feature broke up the 11 other cuts with just the rapper and producer duo.

This time around, there is a little more to offer overall. Memory Lane 2 contains more rapping from the Baltimore artist production from Murda with three more offerings. This New Music Friday (October 27), Banks finally delivered “DILEMMA,” which was previously teased on social media. The short, infectious single was produced by Chad Dexter, Adalberto, DeQuesada, and Theplayxobeats, crafting a perfect soundscape for the notoriously sassy recording artist to lay down her bars on. “Get with it / I see you sendin’ ’em shots, y’all ni**as opps, I ain’t miss s**t,” Azealia spits seconds in. “Take my quick hit, uh / And I’m blowin’ your brains, best believe I won’t miss this.”

Azealia Banks Prepares Fans for Long-Awaited Business & Pleasure Album

As Genius notes, the song is set to appear on the tracklist of Banks’ long-awaited Business & Pleasure LP. It’s been in the works since 2015, with May 2019 scheduled as the original release date. October of that year saw another failed attempt at putting out the album, which we could finally get an update on now that the East Coast rap diva is sharing her work with the world again. The only other track we’ve heard her on in 2023 is “New Bottega” with Torren Foot just before spring began.

If you are a fan of Kodak, you know that he has tried various different sounds over the years. Sometimes, he will go with something a bit more hard-hitting and rap-oriented. However, sometimes, he finds himself giving fans something on the softer side. “Eaze Your Mind” fits the latter.
