Iggy Azalea Addresses Rumor She Was “Bullied” Away From Music

Iggy Azalea shot down the rumor that she was “bullied” away from continuing a career in music on Twitter, Wednesday. However, she says she’s putting her new album on pause and focusing on other endeavors.

“I’ve always been someone who finds my joy in being creative & seeing my ideas come to life. For a long time I used music to deliver my big crazy ideas to the world,” Azalea wrote. “I know a lot of people have this idea that I was ‘bullied away from music’ and that’s something I’ve always laughed at because I’d never be bullied out of anything! In fact, I’m too stubborn.”

Pennsylvania rapper and crooner Lil Skies was one of the hottest rappers from about 2017 to 2019. His sound was very melodic with elements of trap, emo, pop rap. Unfortunately, many feel he has steadily fallen off since that point. While he still releases a steady flow of singles, it will be almost three years since his last album.

Lil Dicky Shoots His Shot With Rachel McAdams On “Mr. McAdams”

It basically describes his life and how he wants to become one of the most successful rappers of all time. However, Lil Dicky feels that the material is good enough to release as a full project’s worth. “It’s a really strong body of work that I’m super proud of. I was surprised when I took a step back and looked at the inventory of stuff that [has] made it into the show — ‘Oh, my God, there’s like a great album here of work that can live on its own.’” That is slowly becoming a reality because the soundtrack for Dave is on its way. It is going to be called Penith (The DAVE Soundtrack) and will be out on January 19.

Kanye West Has Fans Upset Yet Again As “Vultures” No Longer Has A Release Date

Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign have been working on a new album called Vultures. Overall, it is an album that has been surrounded by controversy. With Ye’s fervent anti-Semitism, there are those who are deadset on boycotting the album. Furthermore, Ye has delayed the album on numerous occasions. Of course, this is something Ye does all of the time, so we should have known better. All throughout December, the album was delayed, and most recently, the project was pegged for January 12th.

Well, it seems like that is no longer the case. According to Forbes a spokesperson for Ye has said that the album does not have a release date. Instead, the album’s fate is completely up in the air. There is some speculation that the album is going to be scrapped entirely. However, there are actual insiders who know for sure this is not the case. According to HipHopDX, one of those people is Malik Yusef. He recently told fans on social media that vocals are being re-recorded and that the album will eventually drop.

Kanye West Continues To Mess With Us

At this point, it does feel like the album is in limbo. While those around Ye are confident that it will still come out, the entire rollout has been absolutely painstaking. After sitting with it for the past week or so, there might have been someone who should have made the cut. DC The Don, a Wisconsin native, was grossly underlooked.

He can sing and rap and floats around the trap and melodic rap subgenres. DC shares similarities with other artists in these lanes, but is developing a unique sound. Last year he impressed us with some singles such as “Tell Shyanne” and his deluxe version of FUNERAL. DC The Don is back now to deliver a sequel to his SACRED HEART mixtape series.

Luh Tyler And Tony Shhnow Showcase Some Chemistry On “POP OUT”

Logic Finally Delivers Update On Long Lost “Ultra 85” Project

Logic is an artist who has dropped a lot of music over the last couple of decades. Overall, he burst onto the scene with his mixtapes in the early 2010s. Subsequently, he dropped some massive albums with Under Pressure and The Incredible True Story. However, when he dropped Everybody, he got hit with quite a bit of criticism. Some felt his subject matter was repetitive, and with each subsequent release, those criticisms got louder.

However, after a brief retirement, Logic has returned with some of the best material of his career. Heading into 2024, fans have been optimistic about what he may come out with next. Well, as it turns out, he has something interesting up his sleeve. Taking to Instagram recently, he posted a blacked-out photo with the caption, “Ultra 85 2024.” For those who may not know, Ultra 85 is an album that Logic has been teasing for years at this point. In fact, some thought it was the original name for Everybody.

Regardless, the album is now set to drop this year, and fans have a reason to be excited. That said, as you can see from the comments section, some are a bit perplexed by the announcement. Although some were questioning the sustainability of her success, she ended up putting a lot of those questions to rest. Heading into 2024, she is primed and ready for another big year, especially with the Grammys on the horizon.

Last night, Ice Spice found herself as part of the rollout for Playboi Carti’s brand-new track “BACKR00MS.” The song features Travis Scott, and leading up to the song’s release, Carti was shouting her out. She had posted some raunchy photos for her birthday, and Carti ended up reposting them. As it turns out, there is even a bar on the song about Carti needing a “Munch” like Ice Spice. Spice was taking notice, and once the song dropped, she ended up showing some love. “Backr00ms,” she tweeted while adding a lipstick kiss emoji.

As for the song itself, it is yet another lowkey and mysterious song from the artist. With each new album era, Carti has delivered a new sound. However, this is by far the biggest departure from his core sound yet. Regardless, it seems to be a sound that fans are genuinely enjoying. Carti is always finding new ways to reinvent himself, and this new era could birth his best album yet. Only time will tell whether or not that album actually comes out anytime soon.
