Well, that was fast. Kendrick Lamar has swept the hip-hop world off its feet with his brand-new sixth album, GNX. The astounding release hit the digital airwaves on Friday afternoon, and it’s been all the craze and will continue to be for quite a while. The lyrical content is of course going to shoulder that load. However, Kendrick doing extra things like a “squabble up” music video will also help a great deal. The Compton icon just dropped off the visual for it moments ago, and you can watch it below.
“Everyday Hustle” is one of the best cuts off of Future and Metro Boomin’s 2024 collab album, WE DON’T TRUST YOU. We don’t understand why it took this long to drop the music video, but the Rick Ross-assisted cut finally got a visual treatment… Well, sort of. Fewtch doesn’t rap in it: he just looks cool for the camera while a lot of footage of booty-shaking plays. Then, for his verse, Rozay stands in front of his private jet and flexes a lot of his material belongings, but it doesn’t seem like the most tight, concise, or unified vision. Maybe it was just some old footage they wanted to splice into a new vid on The Biggest Boss’ channel, which wouldn’t be the first time he made a feature a music video of its own.
Regardless, every single one of these artists is dealing with a lot of career and gossip stuff that probably has them busy right now. As such, the “Everyday Struggle” video came at an opportune time for them to enjoy this release and give fans a little something in the meantime. Beyond his Future and Metro Boomin feature, Rick Ross is still dealing with his “biggest opp,” as he raps on the song. He and Tia Kemp have not stopped throwing each other under the bus with scathing allegation after scathing allegation.

As for Metro Boomin, the Future collaborator recently responded to sexual assault allegations against him. “These are false accusations,” his lawyer Lawrence Hinkle III reportedly told Billboard. “Mr. Wayne refused to pay her months ago, and he refuses to pay her now. Mr. Wayne will defend himself in court. He will file a claim for malicious prosecution once he prevails.”
Meanwhile, Future recently hit the studio up with Lil Baby, Travis Scott, and none other than a recently released Young Thug. Fans wonder what this link-up resulted in, and whether or not we’ll hear new Thugger music this year or early in the next. It’s an everyday hustle for all these hip-hop artists, even if music videos don’t always turn out like some fans expected.
GloRilla recently released her new album GLORIOUS and engaged with a fresh new social media narrative because of it: is she pregnant? She spoke on the topic through various songs from the project, and also debuted some baby bump pictures with actor Da’Vinchi that sent fans plenty of conflicting signals. Still, a lot of fans knew what was coming: a music video was bound to show up any day now to explain why the Memphis femcee leaned into this so hard. Sure enough, we just got the new “I LUV HER” visuals with T-Pain, which shows Glo and Vinchi in a wholesome relationships that ends in marriage and a pregnancy. She may have fooled some fans, but others saw it coming from a mile away.
Regardless of whether you believed these rumors or not, the music video for “I LUV HER” is still very well-made and adorable, and a neat little narrative twist also leaves you pretty satisfied by the end. Elsewhere, GloRilla is still debating her physical transformations online, but in ways that don’t relate to a fake baby bump. Instead, it’s about fans wondering whether or not she got a BBL, rumors that she clapped back at with hilarious force.

Still, other GloRilla statements – particularly about relationship topics – have some fans thinking that the narrative in the “I LUV HER” music video might become reality soon if she gets her way. “Single & celibate until God send me my husband,” she expressed on Twitter recently, which started a debate around what that word really means. Regardless, it does suggest that the 25-year-old would rather hunker down on a relationship right now than mess around. Maybe she’s just trying to manifest with this new visual treatment.
In other GloRilla news, she recently got a few Grammy nominations for the 2025 awards show, which she expressed a lot of gratitude for. If she keeps her run up with more drops and music videos like these, then we can expect many more nods to come in the future. At least fans can put these pregnancy rumors to rest and be more aware of the signs once the next artist pulls a stunt like this.
Overall, 2024 has been another solid year for Atlanta rapper and crooner, Gunna. Since his involvement in the YSL RICO trial, he’s been doing well to maintain a loyal fanbase amid the relentless “rat” and “snitch” labels. Of course, there’s always going to be some that will hold a grudge, but his streams and standing within the game are still very high. He’s still pulling in well over hundreds of millions of plays on songs, with 37.3 million monthly listeners rallying around him. One of Wun is his latest LP this time around, and once again there remain to be a nice collection of hits. Tracks like “prada dem,” “on one tonight,” and the title cut are arguably the main ones to list. However, Gunna has not been clear of obstacles entirely.
Right now, it seems like Young Thug is turning on his YSL brethren. That’s despite making sure he was one of the few from his crew he could work alongside and remain in communication with. A tweet and delete let us know how Thugger is supposedly really feeling. Wunna still hasn’t broke his silence on their relationship, so we are hoping these two are working things out. However, that could possibly not be the case, as a lot of the themes on One of Wun preached self-growth. Gunna preached more of the same on “HIM ALL ALONG,” his most recent release. “They was tryna stunt my growth, I been steady chasin’ my goals / N****, why you watchin’? I’m grown, n**** can’t take my throne,” he spits melodically on the chorus.
That confidence-boosting single now has a music video to go along with it and it’s a nice fit. Him and producer of the record Turbo are enjoying the finer things in life thanks in part to their hard work. Despite the opulent visuals, Gunna’s also possibly prepping fans for more. After the song concludes, a teaser of a moodier snippet plays as he hops on a private jet. Billboard and fans agree with our speculation and hopefully, it drops soon.
It’s hard to deny just how impactful and important Future is to the modern-day hip-hop scene. He’s without a doubt one of the most influential of his time, as one of the most prolific. The grind never stops for the Atlanta native who continues to churn out record after record. He’s dropped multiple projects for most of his career, and a lot of them still manage to top the charts. 2024 is no exception, as Pluto worked alongside his partner in crime Metro Boomin for WE DON’T TRUST YOU and WE STILL DON’T TRUST YOU. Both debuted at number one on the Hot 200 despite just being a few weeks apart. However, he managed to pull off a hat trick with MIXTAPE PLUTO. The September solo release sold 129,000 units and because of that, he became the first rapper to have three number ones in a six-month span.
Despite there being some reservations about it, Future’s hardcore fans loved it, and they certainly showed out for him. To repay them, he’s been dropping off some bonus content over the last couple of months. One of which was the highly desired “SOUTH OF FRANCE” remix with Travis Scott. The collab was thought to be a lock for the tracklist, but Future decided to go against features for the initial release. He’s also been dropping off some visuals for the tape, with the number now up to five. That fifth video from Future is for “BRAZZIER,” one of the “deeper” cuts. It’s nothing too special visually speaking as he’s seen flexing with his homeboys during the nighttime. Check it out below.
Since coming into the game back in 2017, Don Toliver has steadily improved as an artist. Everyone knows how the story goes at this point with the Texas native. He got his big break by landing on Travis Scott’s ASTROWORLD cut “CAN’T SAY,” and since then he’s become a major face of the psychedelic trap subgenre. But after dropping Heaven Or Hell in 2020, Don began to experiment more and separate from being simply a carbon copy of La Flame. He played around with more R&B and soul on his 2023 outing Love Sick, to which some found was a bit of a mixed bag. Still, him branching out was much needed and it seems that it was more realized on HARDSTONE PSYCHO.
The more aggressive and in-your-face style boded pretty well for him across the board. He adopted the biker/metal aesthetic and did a good job incorporating it into the body of work. Overall, it helped this record become his most ambitious yet. Fans rewarded the growth and made it his most commercially successful to date, too. Songs like “TORE UP” and “BANDIT,” which are in that rock vein, are doing numbers to this day. But there are cuts doing the same that call back to his melodic upbringing. “NEW DROP” has become the fan-favorite and it’s one of ours too. The quirky, watery, and atmospheric melodies provided by Don and producers Wheezy, Dez Wright, Psymun, and Bryan Yepes are plain hypnotic. That adjective can be used to describe the visual for “NEW DROP,” which is racking up views right now. The moody aesthetic that’s on the track works its way into the video thanks to the consistent biker theme and dim lighting. Check it out below.
Megan Thee Stallion, while providing a lot of bangers on MEGAN, it’s subsequent ACT II takes all gas and no brakes to a new level. If the cover wasn’t telling enough for you, it does hint at the sonic direction for these 13 new tracks. The gaudy diamond-encrusted font and her extravagant grill scream that this is going to be strictly Southern hip-hop slappers. Right on cue, you are going to put in the time machine as the Houston rapper is doing just that with the wavy synths to the familiar drum patterns. This is easily the most she has leaned into her H-Town roots in her music and most of the love letters do the era justice.
One of those prime examples is “Bigger In Texas,” the lead-off cut for this extended version of her self-titled record. The brand-new visual especially shows off her love for the Lone Star State with the over-the-top lowriders, Johnny Dang’s famous jewelry store, and plenty of cameos from artists that paved the way. Slim Thug, Paul Wall, and Sauce Walka are just a few that show love to the H-Town Hottie. As for the track itself, Meg brings her patented flow, adlibs, bars, and the whole bit and it’s a pretty impressive display regardless of how much you’ve heard this formula. There are some hilarious flashes of her humor as well with gut-busting bars like, “Pockets gettin’ thickеr and thicker, I’m tastin’ the money, it look likе I ate a few hundreds / I just hopped on a G6, I’m gettin’ head while I’m playin’ my Switch, hm.”
Tyler, The Creator has returned with a new teaser, “ST. CHROMA,” marking what appears to be the first song from his upcoming seventh studio album. In doing so, he dropped a music video to promote the track, which ends with the word, “Chromakopia,” displaying across a green screen, likely referencing the title of Tyler’s next album. On the song, he raps in a whispered tone about being in the “top ten” and the “hottest in this b*tch.”
Fans are expectedly loving the new release, having already flooded the YouTube comments section with praise. “Tyler wasn’t kidding when he said he wanted to work in film and cinematography, the production of this teaser is incredible, even though it’s so short,” one user posted. Another wrote: “This gonna be the craziest Tyler album yet. Just this teaser is fire! (literally). Tyler never disappoints.”
Chromakopia will mark Tyler’s first album since 2021’s critically acclaimed Call Me If You Get Lost. That album earned him the 2022 Grammy Award for Best Rap Album. He followed it up with a deluxe version the following year titled subtitled, The Estate Sale. In addition to music releases, he made headlines, earlier this year, for performing at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.
Tyler The Creator Teases His Next Album, “Chromakopia”
Check out the entirety of Tyler’s “ST. CHROMA” below. The announcement comes after he trolled fans for theorizing he was gearing up for a new album, earlier this month. When Steve Lacy complained on social media about fans demanding a new project, Tyler commented: “I feel you. Sh*t is annoying especially when I never said out my mouth an album was coming.” Be on the lookout for further updates on Tyler, The Creator on HotNewHipHop.
Latto continues to roll out Sugar Honey Iced Tea, and what would that process look like without a visual for one of the album’s biggest hits? The “Brokey” music video is finally here, and with colorful visual effects, guests like Rubi Rose, and a couple of interesting set pieces, it certainly succeeds at crafting an engaging, fun, and fitting treatment. Not only that, but the Clayton County femcee also included a short visual for a snippet of the track “There She Go,” so fans got a little bit extra. Overall, it’s definitely a music video highlight for the year, and one that shows her charisma and sense of humor quite well.
However, folks who remember the conversation around this song when it dropped know that it was a pretty controversial discussion. Many felt that “Brokey” looked down on less successful citizens who couldn’t afford luxurious gifts for their partners, a narrative that Latto quickly sought to combat. “I hate that y’all think I was calling hard workers brokeys [broken heart emoji],” she tweeted. “So I got $10k for whoever make the best video at they job to brokey & I’ll fly u out to be in the music video…no mo waiting til ur bday to go outta town. Tag me & hashtag #Brokey so I can see them all.”
Then, a woman went viral for getting fired from her job at Waffle House for doing the “Brokey” challenge, but she ended up winning. Latto flew her out and she appeared in the music video. Seeing this full-circle moment was a treat to see, even if the visual doesn’t do much to go against the initial criticism of the song. Regardless, this context does make the viewing experience pretty interesting for those in the know.
Meanwhile, other Latto fans are more concerned with rampant relationship rumors around her, which she recently discussed with Angel Reese and Mariah The Scientist for the former’s podcast. Alas, they are no closer to finding her man for certain. Still, thanks to tracks and music videos like “Brokey,” we can assume that whoever Latto’s partner is has the will and money to treat her lavishly.
Eminem continues to hearten fans and draw a couple of tears from them, as he just dropped the music video for his The Death Of Slim Shady (Coup De Grâce) cut “Temporary” featuring Skylar Grey. The song and visual is a touching tribute to his daughter Hailie Jade, with the lyrics hypothesizing on the Detroit rapper’s final message to her before his eventual passing. The visuals show old home video footage of Hailie, tearful moments at her wedding, and even the reveal that she’s expecting a child. We can’t believe that Marshall Mathers will become a grandfather soon, and from the looks of it, he can barely believe it either.
“I watched it in entirety and I don’t think I can do it again,” Hailie Jade recalled her reaction to Eminem’s “Somebody Save Me” music video featuring Jelly Roll, another family tribute. “I definitely cry every time I hear it at all. Between that and ‘Temporary’… I mean, I can’t. I audibly sobbed, I think, for both songs, but especially ‘Temporary.’ Watching the [‘Somebody Save Me’] video back and listening to the songs, I feel like my parents did such a good job growing up where I didn’t realize how bad things were.
“I think that’s why I get emotional so much just thinking that that could have happened,” Hailie Jade shared concerning Eminem’s addiction struggles and near-death experiences. “And obviously that’s the point of the song. But I will say, if you’ve ever lost an addict or loved one, I feel for you.” “The older I get, the less I can listen to any of the songs,” she said of “Mockingbird.” “I’ve done enough crying and I told myself I refuse.”
However, Eminem and Hailie Jade aren’t the only ones who got emotional from these milestones. “I wish I had a daughter, I do, I wish I had a daughter,” 50 Cent recently told Haute Living of Hailie’s wedding. “I wish I had that [father-daughter] relationship. For female children, their dad is the first man they fall in love with. Male children go to their mom; I’m a mama’s boy myself. It was unbelievable, the wildest thing for me, period. I was like, ‘Yo, bro, this is cr*zy. We’re getting old. Your baby is grown. What the f**k is going on?’ I was having a moment myself over there. I told Em, ‘You said it was OK to cry? Because I’m crying.’ I couldn’t believe it went that fast.”
