Kanye West Previews Young Thug Collaboration For Ty Dolla Sign Project

While showing off his new album with Ty Dolla Sign, Kanye West played a collaboration with Young Thug in Miami at Dukunoo Jamaican Kitchen on Sunday night. In one track, West remarks, “free Young Thug,” before also playing a verse from the incarcerated rapper. The evening comes after a surprise appearance at Art Basel.

When a clip of Ye previewing the Young Thug song began circulating on social media, fans had plenty of positive reactions. “This is the first time Kanye has ever actually let the beat drop when he played a teaser from one of his album. This is fire and I can’t wait to hear the full version!” one user wrote on Twitter. Another added: “Thug previewed this verse twice once in 2019 and once in 2021 but the beat is changed the og is gunna x thug prod Pierre.”

Yeat Teases New Song On Live, Reveals Length Of Upcoming Album

Yeat has previewed a new song while streaming on Instagram. Yeat played the new track, complete with a pretty fire beat switch. It’s likely that the song will appear on Yeat’s upcoming album. Speaking of the album, he also revealed that the album will be a 25-track juggernaut. Yeat announced the track count on his Instagram post that simply said “25 song”.

The life cycle of LyfëStyle has been a fascinating one. It was expected to be released over the summer but was delayed indefinitely. It’s now unclear when the album will drop, with some sources saying it will be out as late as December 2024. Yeat himself has not put out anything confirming when the album will be out.

Yeat Used Young Thug As His Yearbook Quote

Back in August, Yeat went viral for his alleged yearbook quote. According to images shared online, his yearbook quote is lyrics attributed to “Thugga”. Except the quote is wrong. Or at the very least, it’s not one continuous lyric. According to the image, Yeat submitted “I got hundreds on top of hunnids. That blue cheese, NOT ranch.” But this appears to a mashup of two lyrics. The first part of the quote is from “Problem“. Meanwhile, the second half of the quote is from “Homie”. The two lyrics in full are “I got hundreds sittin’ on hundreds, that blue cheese, I’m not ranchin’” and “I got blue cheese on me, all hundreds/Blue cheese no ranch.”

However, that’s not the only thing people were reacting to in the image. While most people have a very standardized yearbook photo. Meanwhile, he is draped in tartan and wearing ski goggles, which is certainly a look. However, the combination of the irregular photo and the weird lyric has led many people to declare that the image is faked. Furthermore, the image has been circulating since late May, around when Yeat and Young Thug collaborated on “My Wrist”. Do you think it’s real?

Yung Bans Comes Back With New Album, “Vol. 6”

After four years of radio silence when it comes to full-length project, his last being 2019’s MISUNDERSTOOD, Yung Bans is finally back with a new mixtape. Vol. 6 is a 15-track offering of what he does best: woozy beats, drowsy delivery, and a whole lot of vibes. Moreover, the St. Louis native focuses on hypnotizing soundscapes with his trap production, with songs like “I Juss” and “No Belt” with YNW Melly packing a heavier punch with their bass treatments. If you need a refresher, the last track we covered from his was 2021’s “Won’t Think Twice,” and not much has shifted since then when it comes to his artistry.

Furthermore, that would be a tad disappointing for Yung Bans, if not for the fact that he encapsulates this style so well. His patient flows and easily adaptable rhyme schemes on songs like “The Streets” remind us of why he captured the ears of so many listeners during the SoundCloud rap golden age. What’s more is that the “Blow Her Back Out” MC also chose a pretty solid list of features on Vol. 6 to show off his chemistry with other artists and switch up the tracklist’s flow. For example, there’s the aforementioned Melly, plus Highway, R5 Homixide, Doe Boy, and Ralo.

Yung Bans’ Vol. 6: Stream

However, these features don’t take away from the record’s overall experience, as the 24-year-old is still at the center of everything here. There are also plenty of moments here that turn more explosive, reminiscent of earlier singles like “Freak Show” with Latto. If you haven’t heard Vol. 6 yet, find it on your preferred streaming service and let us know what you think in the comments section down below. If you’re curious before you dive in, check out the tracklist down there as well. For more news on Yung Bans and more great hip-hop releases around the clock, check back in with HNHH.

New York MC Rowdy Rebel has been in the game for about eight years now. Since he is a veteran in the industry, you would think he would have a ton of material out. However, the opposite is actually true. To be fair, some of that certainly attributed to the legal trouble he was involved in with Bobby Shmurda, back in 2014. However, it is still a surprise that he only has five projects to his name.

But, this past year or so has seen him make up for lost time behind bars. Rowdy has dropped three projects with the latest being Back Outside. This is a quick follow-up to his April release with Fetty Luciano, Splash Brothers. His co-partner happens to land on this project too.

Night Lovell Drops A New Set Of Grimy Trap Bangers On “I HOPE YOU’RE HAPPY”

We got our first official announcement of Night Lovell’s upcoming project back in early August. The Canadian rapper dropped the hint on his social media, namely Instagram. It featured a selfie of him with a confused look on his face, with the caption simply saying, “aLbUm?” Then, just over two months later Lovell shared that he wrapped up recording it.

That was done on Twitter, now known as X. Shortly after that, the Ottawa artist put out the second single for I HOPE YOU’RE HAPPY. It was called “MY DAY IS RUINED !” A heavy-hitting trunk-knocking banger with horrorcore elements. However, we unknowingly got our first look at the LP with a 2022 track, “Eye Spy.”

Boosie Badazz Pleads With Lil Baby For Feature On His Next Album

Boosie Badazz is someone who is a staple of hip-hop culture at this point. Overall, he has come out with some iconic music over the years. Although, for many, he is someone who is known for his humorous observations on the culture. While some may hate the things he says, others find him at least a little entertaining. Ultimately, he is someone who elicits a reaction, and if you can do that, then you can easily find a bit of success. Either way, Boosie is someone who has a lot of fun.

Overall, he is also someone who is always listening to the younger artists in the game. In order to stay sharp, it is important to listen to those who run the game right now. One of those young artists is none other than Lil Baby. It is believed that the young artist has a new album on the way, and fans are interested to finally hear it. Of course, Boosie is one of the many people who want to hear it. In fact, Boosie wants a spot on the album, and in the video below, he drunkenly begged for a placement.

Boosie Badazz Shouts Out Lil Baby

“I just saw Lil Baby,” Boosie said. “Put me on the album, n***a! Tell Lil Baby put me on the album, n***a […] Real n****s getting banned these days — put a real n***a on the album, Im’a slide, n***a.” Whether or not Lil Baby accepts such an offer, truly remains to be seen. However, you never know. It could very well be a situation where Baby wants to pay homage to someone who is a legend and elder statesman in the game. Either way, we’re sure the album will be solid.

Let us know if you would want a collaboration between these two, in the comments section below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the music world. We will always be sure to keep you informed on everything happening involving your favorite artists.

“Pink Friday 2” Reactions: Nicki Minaj Stunned, Slayed, Shocked & Soured On New Album

Now that Nicki Minaj’s highly anticipated fifth studio album is finally here, the Barbz and music fans at large are spending a lot of time breaking it down. Of course, it’s pretty early to really come to a conclusion on what the consensus behind Pink Friday 2 is. We’re sure that some beats will grow on us, we will understand bars more with each listen, some features won’t be as exciting as when we first heard them, and so on. But on Onika’s 41st birthday, on the very first day we got our ears on it, how is it shaping up? Well, according to the fans… good! But it depends on who you ask.

Obviously, a lot of fans of Megan Thee Stallion, Latto, or other femcees probably don’t like Pink Friday 2 that much. Apparently Nicki Minaj had plenty of subliminal disses and shots for the female rap game, which is disappointing to see from just a solidarity standpoint. With these conflicts and comparisons in mind, you’ll obviously find a lot of hate towards the project online from other female rap fans, which is very understandable. If you’ve liked the Barb before, you’ll probably like this record, but if you prefer other styles, it might not do much for you.

Barbz Are Loving Nicki Minaj’s Latest

Furthermore, there’s also a lot of convo about the featured guests: Young Money (Lil Wayne & Drake), Future, Lil Uzi Vert, and more. Particularly, there was even some conversation around Drizzy’s appearance on here being better than a lot of what made it to For All The Dogs. That’s on the track “Needle” if you’re curious to check it out. If you want to see more wild reactions to Pink Friday 2, Nicki Minaj’s latest nuke-drop on the industry, check them out below.

More Pink Friday 2 Reactions

Meanwhile, what did you think of Pink Friday 2 so far, considering that we’ve only listened to it for a couple of hours? Does it stack up with Nicki’s previous work, with that of her contemporaries, or with the high standards she set up for it? However, you may feel, let us know in the comments section down below. Pharrell Links With Swae Lee And Rauw Alejandro For Tropical Cut “Airplane Tickets”

Pharrell Williams has been one of the most revered hip-hop artists over the past decade-plus. The Virginia Beach, Virginia native has always done things a little differently, helping him stand out more than your typical beatmaker. He loves to challenge the people he collaborates with, which is such a good quality to have. While he drops fairly regularly, he has not dropped an album in almost 10 years.

But, it looks like that is going to change sometime next year. Genius has a new project listed on his page and it is called Phriends, Vol. 1. We have already gotten the singles to this supposed release. The first of which was “Cash In Cash Out” with 21 Savage and Tyler, The Creator back in June of 2022. Then, in November of 2022, we got a second helping with “Down In Atlanta” with Travis Scott.

Listen To “Airplane Tickets” By Pharrell Williams, Swae Lee, And Rauw Alejandro

Now, over a year later we have the third promotional cut. This one sees Swae Lee and Rauw Alejandro enter the fray. This one certainly has a separate vibe from the previous two efforts. It takes a more summery and tropical direction, seeing as Rauw is from Puerto Rico. “Airplane Tickets” brings a danceable rhythm and is more of a kick-back song to have as nice background music.

What are your initial thoughts on this brand-new single, “Airplane Tickets,” by Pharrell Williams, Swae Lee, and Rauw Alejandro? Is this the best promotional track from the producer’s upcoming album, Phriends, Vol. 1? Whose performance on the track was more impactful? Is this Pharrell’s best beat out of the three songs? We would like to hear what you have to say about all of this. With that in mind, be sure to leave all of your hottest takes in the comments section below.
