Bizzy Bone Drops Off Another Solo Project With “Tha Waste Lands”

Bone Thugs-n-Harmony is still making music together as of 2022, and one of the members is continuing that work ethic. One of those members is the youngest of the group, Bizzy Bone. The Columbus, Ohio native is maybe the most active of them all, dropping long projects year after year. Just last year, in 2022, the rapper put out six efforts. Five of them were either special or deluxe editions, while the other was an album called, I’m Busy.

It was Bizzy’s second offering of the year and one that came amid some controversy. There was a lot of information about the collective and whether or not Bone had issues with his groupmates. He shut those rumors up saying that, “Nowadays no made up drama nor immaturity can change camaraderie, love and friendship. Literally there are no problems with us. You get us in the room together it uh be like the telly tubbies in onesies.”

Bone is now back with Tha Waste Lands, a 19-track album. It has only one feature and that is his son, Ybl Sinatra. The runtime of the project is just over an hour as well. Most of the production is trap-inspired with Bizzy showing off his wacky personality on plenty of cuts here.

Doja Cat Shares NSFW Photo Dump To Celebrate Her First Ever Number One Solo Hit

Earlier this week it was officially announced that 2023 had its first number-one rap song on the Hot 100. In its fifth week on the charts Doja Cat’s song “Paint The Town Red” elevated from number three to number one officially becoming the first hip-hop song to top the charts in over a year. She follows up Nicki Minaj, who debuted her single “Super Freaky Girl” at the top spot last year. Technically, Doja is the second rapper to appear on the top spot this year. Latto lent a guest verse to K-pop superstar Jung Kook’s single “Seven” earlier this year which also debuted at number one.

It’s Doja Cat’s second time appearing at the number one spot. She previously topped the charts alongside Nicki Minaj with the pair’s remix of Doja’s viral hit “Say So.” But “Paint The Town Red” represents her first ever time topping the charts by herself. Fittingly, she took to Instagram to celebrate the track’s success. As is often the case with her Instagram photo dumps there’s a surreal and random feeling to it throughout. Right in the middle of the series of pictures, however, is a screenshot of the track at the number one spot on the Hot 100.

Doja Cat’s highly anticipated new album Scarlet is slated to arrive later this month. The project will drop on September 22 and has been preceded by three singles. “Paint The Town Red” was the album’s second single, following “Attention” and succeeded by “Demons.” Doja is also going on tour later this year. The Scarlet Tour kicks off on Halloween night and features Ice Spice and Doechii as openers.

Bad Bunny Is Frustrated By Fans Expecting Transparency In Kendall Jenner Relationship

Around late July, reality star Kendall Jenner and Latin music superstar Bad Bunny began popping up in public places together. While it was just an unsubstantiated fling at first, things appeared to be getting more and more involved as the pair were seen together more often. They began popping up at shows together. First sharing pics from a 50 Cent concert and being spotted alongside Kim Kardashian at a Drake tour stop. While that night was dominated by the announcement that Drake had a collab with the reggaeton star on his new album, the dating curiosities soon returned.

In a new interview with Vanity Fair, Bad Bunny talks about plenty of things fans have been dying to hear. When asked about Jenner, unsurprisingly, he didn’t disclose any details. Instead, he took the opportunity to express his issues with the personal transparency often expected by major public figures. ““[Fans] don’t know how you feel, they don’t know how you live, they don’t know anything, and I really don’t want them to know. I’m not really interested in clarifying anything because I have no commitment to clarify anything to anyone. I am clear and my friend Jomar is clear and my mother is clear. They are the only ones to whom I have to clarify anything.” Check out the full interview below.

Bad Bunny Isn’t Clarifying Anything

Bad Bunny also lets slip plenty of details on other aspects of his life and music in the interview that fans are eating up. He shared his thoughts on his controversial loss to Harry Styles for the Album Of The Year Grammy earlier this year. He explains that he didn’t think much of it until seeing the overwhelming public reaction. The intense backlash from fans convinced him that he really should have won.

Bad Bunny wouldn’t share any concrete details on his forthcoming album. While VF teases that it could be arriving this fall, he doesn’t elaborate except to say that he’s been inspired by ’70s’70s music. What do you think of Bad Bunny’s comments on clarifying his relationship status with Kendall Jenner? Let us know in the comment section below.

Tyga Announces New “Playlist” Project With YG

Tyga and YG have been dropping new music together all year. Back in June, they began the year with a summery bop called “West Coast Weekend” which also featured Blxst. They followed it up just a week later with a more hard-hitting banger called “PLATINUM.” The pair of tracks have racked up over 8 million and 4 million streams on Spotify respectively in the months since they were released. Their third collaboration of the year “PARTy T1M3” dropped last month landing somewhere in between the previous two in terms of vibe. That track has already been streamed over a million times.

All of these songs seemed to be leading towards the pair’s upcoming tour. Earlier this year the pair announced that they’re hitting the road later this year on the Str8 To The Klub tour. Unfortunately, fans who bought tickets already are reporting that some of the shows appear to have been canceled. In their place, shows with just YG and Tyga have popped up. They haven’t formally announced a cancelation of the Str8 To The Klub tour. Despite that they appear to already be working on its replacement. Originally they were planning on touring with Saweetie, who appears on the pair’s 4th single together this year “Birthday.”

Tyga And YG Have A New Playlist On The Way

Now, Tyga and YG have announced what all of their new singles have been building towards. “HIT ME WHEN U LEAVE THE KLUB :THE PLAYLIST – SEP 29,” reads the caption of a new Instagram post made by the pair. It also comes with artwork to go with the project.

Despite being called a “playlist” it appears to be something closer to a collaborative album. Fans in the comments are expecting plenty of new music and believing it’s a “playlist” in the same way as Drake’s More Life. Are you excited for YG and Tyga’s new playlist Hit Me When U Leave The Club? Let us know in the comment section below.

M Huncho Unleashes 19-Track Album “My Neighbours Don’t Know.”

M Huncho is a melodic expert in the UK rap scene and he is back to show why he is once again. His innate ability to command melodies and undeniable rhythms makes him an intriguing name to keep your eye on. Especially, in a scene where drill is so prevalent across the pond, it helps Huncho stand out in a sea of copycats. It is a shame his audience has not grown as much or as quickly as others but his sound is very appealing.

The album is 19 songs surpassing just over the 50-minute mark. He also grabs some features for this effort as well. Here you will find artists, D-Block Europe, Nafe Smallz, Nines, Peezy, K-Trap, Steve Drive, and Slim. Besides his signature sounds there are also some R&B cuts too.

Listen To My Neighbours Don’t Know. From M Huncho

Huncho was born in Brent, North West London. He is still just 29 and will turn 30 on November 17. Another unique fact to know is that she shares some resemblance to a very legendary rapper. Like MF Doom, Huncho dons a black villain-like mask at nearly all times as a way to make listeners pay more attention to his music rather than himself, according to Genius.

What are your initial thoughts on M Huncho’s brand new album, my neighbours don’t know.? Is this the best project the artist has ever put out? Which songs are you playing back the most so far? Slim Thug Is Feeling Good On His Latest Record “Midlife Crisis”

Prolific, veteran, Houston rapper Slim Thug is back with another album for 2023. This new project follows up his second release from this year, BIGslim (Swisha House Remix) (Edited), and it is titled Midlife Crisis. Before both of these releases, he put out Where Dreams Are Made. Each output has been short and concise with each one not exceeding more than 10 songs. Midlife Crisis follows that similar trend with just 12 tracks at just over 37 minutes in length.

Thug is sounding extremely confident as he always has on this new effort. A good deal of the cuts here feature some nice soulful vocal samples. Additionally, the rapper is laying down his verses over the traditional bassy and bouncy Southern hip-hop beats. Some of the themes that are woven into the runtime of the project seem to reflect on his past when times were putting him in difficult situations.

Cardi B says that her long-awaited sophomore album will be dropping in 2024. While discussing the project Ebro in the Morning, Cardi confirmed that fans won’t be able to hear the new music before the end of the year.

“You know what? I was indecisive but I was like, you know what? I should already start talking about the album because I’m going to be putting it out very soon,” she began. “But it’s like I have to watch it because I always feel like somebody watching me — it’s going to come out when it’s going to come out.” When asked if fans can expect the project before Christmas, Cardi confirmed: “I can say that; it’s not going to come out this year.”

Cardi also addressed the idea that rumors of Taylor Swift possibly dropping a new project in the fall influenced her promotion plans. “I wasn’t even thinking like that — my first album and everything — I just like, for this album, I’m just holding it because I feel like I’m missing a couple of things,” she admitted. “Then on top of that, everything just has to be like perfect from everything because I feel like people are expecting so much.” Check out Cardi’s interview with Ebro below.

Cardi B Discusses Her Next Album

Her latest comments come after she teased having a specific date in mind already for the project. Speaking with DJ Whoo Kid, she noted that it’s not her birthday. “I’m kinda still working but I have a date in mind,” she began. “It’s not coming out on my birthday. Matter fact, I don’t want nothing coming out in the month of October. October is my month. I don’t want no shit related to work in October, okay.”

Tinashe’s BB/ANG3L Is Sonic Heaven

A true unheralded veteran in the R&B genre delivers once again on her latest commercial effort. Tinashe has been wowing fans and music heads for quite some time. Her ability to crossover into so many different genres is arguably her greatest skill and it is in full force on her new but short album. BB/ANG3L is sadly only seven tracks and 20 minutes in length. We say sadly because the effort and soundscapes here are truly breathtaking and blissful. You pair that with Tinashe’s effortless and silky, smooth singing and you have a terrific project on your hands.

Back in July, the singer teased at the name of the album on her Twitter account. Following that, about a week later she put out the lead single to this album, “Talk To Me Nice.” It may be some recency bias, but this is one of Tinashe’s best tracks ever. From the very start of the track, you get her looping, entrancing “Talk” vocals with a stripped-back beat that is bassy and truly addicting. The melodies and vocals Tinashe pulls off have you trapped and it feels like all you can do is sing along with her but it is amazing. Then, the beat switch comes in and it lets her voice shine even more, what a track.

Shortly after that, “Needs” came out. It saw her perform with the utmost confidence talking about her requirements for a good time in bed. But, the new tracks like “Treason,” “Tightrope,” and “Gravity” are all fantastic as well. This album, according to Genius, “is the first part of a two-part project that sees Tinashe explore genres such as R&B, Electronic, Pop, and Hip-Hop.” Well, it is safe to say we are excited for the second half of this adventure. BB/ANG3L is a must-listen for Tinashe and R&B fans alike.

What are your initial thoughts on this brand new album, BB/ANG3L, from Tinashe? Is this her best album of all time? Which song is your favorite on this project so far? Lancey Foux Takes Us “BACK2DATRAP” On His Third Mixtape

The hip-hop talent in the UK is extremely vast, offering plenty of unique voices to many in the States. East London’s Lancey Foux is one of those talents, and he has continued to provide some eclectic sounds over the past several years. He is back to do that once again on the third mixtape of his career, BACK2DATRAP. Additionally, this is his eighth project overall dating back to his debut Pink in 2015. Lancey’s title tells you all you need to know about the subject matter for this mixtape.

There is no real theme, sense of cohesion, or story behind the tracklist for BACK2DATRAP. It is a project that serves the purpose of providing nothing but slaps and Lancey delivers tenfold on that front. Most mixtapes are usually lengthy and padded out with filler tracks to rack up streams. But, the rapper keeps it to a minimal 12 tracks at just 30 minutes and change.

Listen To BACK2DATRAP From Lancey Foux

Lancey’s lead single for this tape, “MMM HMM” featuring an unpredictable verse from Sexyy Red lands here too. Other than that, it is a featureless set of cuts that sees him bring wild energy and fun beats. Most of the production comes from Bally who is a frequent beat maker for Lancey and others such as Lil Uzi Vert. A lot of the instrumentals fall under the rage rap subgenre with of course trap and even psychedelic trap elements. There is a lot of exciting tracks here and it should fare well with many Lancey fans.

What are your initial thoughts on this brand new album, BACK2DATRAP, from Lancey Foux? Is this his best project to date? Does this feature the best production out of all of his efforts? We want to hear what you have to say about all of this. With that in mind, be sure to leave all of your thoughts and opinions in the comments section below.
