Not only is NLE Choppa one of the most comedic rappers in the game right now, but he is also one of the nicest. The Memphis, Tennessee star has repeatedly poured out so much love and kindness into the world in many ways. For how young he is (21), he shows just as much as maturity, if not more than others twice his age. One prime example you can look to is the amount of hate he received for dropping “SLUT ME OUT 2”. The homophobic claims did not get to him and instead showed incredible mental strength. Now, NLE Choppa is helping carry on the legacy of King Von.

The hitmaker had a segment at the Vegandale Festival to attend to and what better way to go about it than to pay homage to a Chicago legend. NLE has shown that he has a lot of love for the late superstar in the making in the past, so this comes as no surprise. Choppa reached out to Von’s nephew, GrandBabii, and asked him to help out with his show. According to him, he told GrandBabii that he needed to show out for his uncle and he was in, although for being so young the nerves were real.

The latter also asked what song they should spin, and assumed his answer would be “Crazy Story”. However, GrandBabii requested “GTA”, as that was his favorite of his uncle’s. According to Choppa’s post, the younsgter told him he wants to pursue music, “After that he told me standing on the stage performing made him want to be a rapper. I’m just glad to play a small part in the successful career I know he’s gonna have one day 💯🤲🏼”. Choppa continues to be a source of inspiration for the any aspiring MC.

Young Thug shared a message of confidence for his nephew during a text message exchange that has made its way to social media. During the conversation, the incarcerated rapper mentions that he’s on the way home.

“LY2 Peter u good,” Thug asked his nephew, according to HipHopDX. He replied: “Yes, Unc I really Miss You Brah AINT Nan Like When U Hea I Miss having Fun I miss Listening To Everything U Tell Me I Miss Waking Up Knowing we Together .. Young Thug will have his work cut out for him to get home soon. Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis has been adamant about putting the YSL mogul behind bars. “It does not matter what your notoriety is or what your fame is. If you come to Fulton County, Georgia, you commit crimes, and certainly if those crimes are in furtherance of a street gang, then you are going to become a target and a focus of this district attorney’s office, and we are going to prosecute you to the fullest extent of the law,” she said after his arrest.

Young Thug Messages His Nephew

Having been in jail for over a year, the court is still searching to narrow down a jury for the lengthy case. Before that happens, Thug has been denied bond four times. His attorney, Brian Steel, argues that Thug isn’t a risk if allowed out of jail. “Mr. Williams is not a risk to commit a crime and he’s not a risk to flee the jurisdiction and that’s what bond is about,” Steel told ABC News back in April. Janet Jackson’s Performances Slammed By Nephew For “Degrading & Objectifying” Women

When you’re in a family as big as Janet Jackson is, there’s bound to be drama from time to time. The most recent tidbit of gossip to catch the eye of bloggers comes from TJ Jackson’s Twitter page, where he markedly shared his thoughts on his aunt’s past performances. His comments came in response to another user who shared a salacious video of the R&B vocalist grinding on a man and feeling him up as the audience watched on.

“I never liked when she did this in concerts either” he explained, proving that he’s not hypocritical for calling out Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion over their controversial “WAP” song in other tweets. “I don’t like when females are overly sexualized in art… It degrades and [objectifies] women in a way that’s not healthy,” he went on to say. Afterward, he confirmed that he has a preference for the “That’s The Way Love Goes” version of Janet.

TJ’s comments didn’t take long to earn him dozens of angry and confused replies, many of which he gave the time of day to. When asked by a follower what his thoughts would be on a similar performance from a male, he explained, “It’s unfair, but men aren’t as objectified as women. Nevertheless, to me, it diminishes it and leads to other stereotypes.” The way the singer sees it, “vulgarity is not art,” rather, it’s used to create shock and awe.

“[It] can lead to perceptions, and even worse, role models that don’t help our advancement,” his post concluded. Despite those continuing to come at him, the 44-year-old made it clear in several well-written tweets that his stance is what it is, but he still has love for his aunt. Elsewhere in the debate, others tried to call out TJ for trashing Janet when the “Rhythm Nation” artist‘s brother was known as something of a sex symbol during his prime.

“So when Michael grabbed his crotch and even got his video banned for vulgarity, did that diminish his art?” one person pressed TJ. “[Because] you could argue he, at times, was more vulgar than Janet,” they added. Not long after, MJ’s nephew came to his late uncle’s defense. “His videos never objectified women,” the father of four pointed out.
