Lakers Reportedly Interested In These Two Point Guards

LeBron James and the Lakers are a team in need of some help. With Anthony Davis injured, it has become difficult for the team to make a run. They are stuck at 13th in the Western Conference, however, they remain just 2.5 games out of sixth place, which is kind of remarkable. Overall, they can still make a big splash.

That being said, many are looking toward the Lakers as the trade deadline arrives soon. The trade deadline could be a big deal for the team as there are plenty of teams looking to buy and sell. When it comes to the Lakeshow, they are seen as more of a buyer than anything else.

Lakers Want Point Guards

According to reporter Jeff Zillgitt of USA Today, there are two point guards that the Lakers are interested in. These two guards are Fred VanVleet and Kyle Lowry. The Raptors and the former Raptors are highly skilled at their positions and are seen as upgrades over Russell Westbrook.

Additionally, both of these point guards are being put on the trading block. The Raptors know VanVleet can walk at the end of the year. Moreover, the Heat don’t want to pay Lowry anymore. Having said that, both could be the perfect players to trade Westbrook for.

Skip Bayless Explains Why Lamar Jackson Quit On Ravens

Skip Bayless has had a busy few weeks. Between insulting Shannon Sharpe and disrespecting Damar Hamlin, Bayless is not very popular right now. However, he is still very much employed by Fox Sports, and that is definitely not going to change anytime soon.

Whether you love him or hate him, it is clear that Skip is very entertaining. Overall, one could even liken what he does to performance art. He is always putting on a persona, and it is ultimately what has kept him so popular, for better or for worse.

Skip Bayless on Lamar Jackson

Today, Skip and Shannon spoke about the Lamar Jackson situation. Jackson is injured and will not play for the Ravens this weekend during their Wild Card game against the Bengals. Consequently, Bayless believes Lamar is actually giving up on the Ravens. However, he is only doing so as the Ravens gave up on him first.

“If Lamar wanted to play for his team this weekend, he would. If he had been paid, he’d be out there. He quit on them because they quit on him,” Skip said. “Lamar Jackson wouldn’t think twice about playing vs the Bengals on Sunday if he had been paid. It’s all about the contract.”

Sharpe echoed these sentiments as he said “two things that help injuries the most: ice and money.” Needless to say, both Undisputed hosts are firm on the idea that had Jackson been paid properly, he would be on the field right now.

Jackson himself has stated that his injury is pretty bad and that he wishes he could play. Overall, it has not been a great couple of seasons for Jackson who has consistently gotten injured toward the end.

DeMarcus Cousins Secures Lakers Opportunity

DeMarcus Cousins has had a rough go of things over the past few years. After leaving the Sacramento Kings, he has bounced around the league quite a bit. From the New Orleans Pelicans to the Warriors to the Lakers to the Nuggets, Cousins has not been able to settle down.

Overall, it has been hard to watch as fans know what prime Cousins was capable of. As a result of his lack of NBA opportunities, it seemed like Boogie was subsequently planning a move to Taiwan. However, it seems like a new opportunity is keeping him in America.

DeMarcus Cousins x Lakers Reunion?

According to Chris Haynes of Bleacher Report, Cousins is getting a workout with the Lakers on Friday. Of course, Cousins was on the Lakers back in 2019-2020, however, an ACL injury kept him out of the lineup. It was a disappointing campaign that ultimately led to his recent string of inconsistency.

Now, however, Cousins has a real opportunity to get back on an NBA roster. In fact, Cousins is going to be competing against Meyers Leonard, who is always working out for the Lakers. Most Lakers fans are hoping for Cousins to get the spot as they are already familiar with him.

The Lakers could use a whole lot of help these days. However, it remains to be seen if Cousins or Leonard will get an opportunity. Either way, it is good to see the Lakers exploring all avenues ahead of the trade deadline.

Shaq Eats A Frog After Losing TCU-Georgia Bet: Watch

Shaq and his NBA on TNT co-hosts have some amazing chemistry. They are always coming through with some fantastic television, regardless of where they are in the season. On Thursday nights, they have proven to be must-watch television.

Recently, Shaq made a bet with Ernie Johnson regarding the NCAA Football National Championship. Ernie is a huge Georgia fan, which subsequently led to Shaq’s challenge.

Below, you can see Shaq claiming that he will eat frog legs if TCU loses. Overall, this was a very interesting bet as TCU were massive underdogs. In fact, the Horned Frogs ended up losing by an embarrassing mark of 65-7. Of course, this meant that the former NBA star would have to eat some delicious frog.

Shaq Honors The Bet

On Thursday night, Shaq proved that he is, indeed, a man of his word. As you can see in the clip down below, Shaq ate the frog legs without complaining about it. Interestingly enough, the NBA legend quite enjoyed his experience. He was even dipping the legs in some sauce which helped produce a bit more flavor.

If you are a TCU fan, this week has been truly distressing. The Horned Frogs lost by the largest margin in Bowl game history. Yes, that’s right, not just National Championship game history, but Bowl history as a whole. Overall, it goes to show that the National ranking system is broken. Sure, TCU was a nice story, but they did not belong in the big game.

As for Shaq, well, we commend him for upholding his end of the deal. He could have easily refused to do it, however, that would have been bad TV. Luckily, the TNT producers continue to give us gold.

These days, however, the artist can typically be seen at the games with his son Adonis. Adonis has become a frequent fixture at these games as he is chomping on some candy. Fans love seeing them both there, and it feels like the Raptors play their best ball with Drake in the building.

Last night, Drake and Adonis were back in Toronto for the Raptors’ game against the Charlotte Hornets. The Raptors ended up winning the game, so you know both father and son were treated to a show. In some images below, posted by the NBA, the two seemed to be having a blast.

Interestingly enough, Adonis was wearing a pair of LaMelo Ball signature sneakers. Sure, Melo might play for the other team, although Drake and Adonis decided to show love anyway. As for Drizzy, he wore some bizarre platforms with a fuzzy top.

The Toronto Raptors have struggled at times this season, however, they have a couple of wins over the last few games. They are looking to make the playoffs, and their ascent is beginning now. Only time will tell whether or not they have the juice to actually get into the play-in.

Kyrie Irving’s Instagram Suspended, Fans React

Kyrie Irving has been seen as a controversial person. While his fans stand by his every move, there are others who have been offended by some of his posts. In fact, Irving was suspended by the Brooklyn Nets earlier this year due to his sharing of a documentary on Twitter.

Subsequently, Irving has largely slowed down his social media usage. He isn’t as active as he used to be on platforms like Instagram and Twitter. However, there are some times when he takes to Twitter just to remind fans that he is still working to be the best version of himself. Overall, he is quite spiritual and his fans adore that.

Kyrie Suspended

Despite his lack of activity on Instagram, Kyrie’s main account was suspended from the platform on Thursday. Kyrie announced this to his fans while using a second account. It was quite a surprising reveal, especially since Instagram didn’t give a reason.

“They suspended my @kyrieirving account, idk why, nor do I care to know the reason why,” Irving said. “Tribe My Tribe: Make sure y’all are paying attention to everything that’s going on. Stand firm no matter what.”

Below, you can find numerous tweets in which fans reacted to the news. Overall, most people seem to think this is some coordinated attack against the NBA star. However, it is impossible to say for sure as, once again, IG didn’t do a great job of explaining what happened here.

In the video clip down below, you can see Hughes receiving a pair of signed Nike Ja 1s. She also got a signed game-worn jersey, which is truly amazing. Additionally, she got to spend some time with Morant, who scored 38 points in a win against the Spurs.

Overall, this was a great moment for the young fan. While they may still be hurt about losing their basketball, they still got an amazing experience in Memphis. Hopefully, that ball turns up sooner rather than later.

Nerlens Noel Agrees To Rich Paul Settlement

If you remember, back in 2021, Nerlens Noel attempted to sue Rich Paul for $58 million in lost salary. This all took place because of a grievance Paul filed with the National Basketball Players Association. As the story goes, Paul, who represented Noel with Klutch Sports, hadn’t been paid commission for a $5 million deal with the Knicks.

Noel owed Klutch Sports $200,000, however, he refused to pay the bill. Subsequently, Noel launched the aforementioned lawsuit against Paul where he claimed that the agent was responsible for a missed opportunity. The Detroit Pistons star believes Paul talked him out of a $70 million deal. However, many agents around the league believe Noel is at fault as he ultimately had the final say.

Nerlens Noel Pays Klutch Sports

According to TMZ, Noel has officially decided to reach a settlement with Paul. His lawsuit had been thrown out, so there were no real other options left. Consequently, Paul will be getting a $200,000 payday while Noel continues to think about what could have been.

As you can imagine, Klutch Sports is happy to be done with this chapter. Overall, it was a bad look to have a player saying these things about such a powerful agent. Regardless, even the NBPA wasn’t on Noel’s side here, which is fairly telling.

LeBron James is easily a top-two player in the history of the NBA. With multiple MVP trophies, four NBA titles, and a potential all-time scoring title, there is no doubt that Bron belongs on the league’s Mount Rushmore. Even the old heads have to agree at this point.

The Future Of LeBron James

According to a new report from Zach Lowe on his ESPN podcast, LeBron is very much committed to staying in LA. Essentially, there is a chance he could become resentful of the front office, although, for the most part, he has always wanted to finish his career as a Laker. Lakers fans can finally breathe a sigh of relief.

“I keep hearing he wants to stay with the Lakers,” Lowe said. “He wants to finish his career with the Lakers. His comments though should be interpreted as his patience is not infinite and if this is just a continued morass of losing, maybe that changes. But if you force me to bet, I’d still bet on him finishing his career with the Lakers. And I’d feel pretty confident in that.”

Of course, this would mean the Lakers would need to draft or sign Bronny James Jr. LeBron James wants to play with his son, and he will go anywhere around the league to make that a reality.

Let us know what you think LeBron should do, moving forward, in the comments down below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news from around the sports world.

FTX Loses Naming Rights To Miami Heat Arena Amid Massive Scandal

If you are someone who was invested in cryptocurrency, then you probably knew about FTX. Unfortunately, many people lost their life savings with the exchange as it was promptly shut down. It has since declared bankruptcy, and now, FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried is looking at a lengthy prison sentence.

Overall, things do not look good for SBF. The entrepreneur is now being charged with fraud, money laundering, and even conspiracy. Needless to say, no one wants anything to do with his company. This is especially true of sports teams who were sponsored by the exchange.

FTX Founder Sam Bankman-Fried leaves Manhattan Federal Court on January 03, 2023 in New York City. FTX Vs. Miami Heat

NBA fans are well aware of the fact that the Miami Heat’s arena was called “FTX Arena.” The naming rights were purchased for $135 million just two years. Since the scandal, however, the Heat has been trying to get the name removed from its building. According to TMZ, those efforts have officially become successful.

Consequently, all FTX logos will be removed from outside of the arena. Additionally, any FTX branding on the court will also have to go. Over the past month, the exchange’s logos have remained on the floor in the arena, which has definitely caused some confusion.
