Rihanna shared the first words she and ASAP Rocky’s son, RZA, said to them during her new profile with Interview Magazine. According to the iconic singer, he remarked: “Hey.” Rihanna had the conversation with the publication’s editor-in-chief, Mel Ottenberg, who used to be her stylist.

“I used to try to get his attention all the time, and I would say, ‘Hey, hey, hey.’ And one day he said it back to me in the same melody and I kept singing it and he kept following it over and over again,” Rihanna explained. She also revealed that RZA’s favorite song at the moment is “Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes.”

We’ve seen each other outside of relationships. We knew what we’re capable of, and the trouble that we could bring to each other’s lives,” Rihanna said. “We can make or break each other’s hearts. And so, we started dating with a lot of caution.” She also admitted she’d be down for more kids: “I don’t know what god wants, but I would go for more than two. I would try for my girl. But of course if it’s another boy, it’s another boy.”

Rihanna Reveals Why She’d Have More Kids With ASAP Rocky

Rihanna says that she’d be willing to have more children with ASAP Rocky after the two welcomed their second son, back in August. Speaking with Interview magazine for a new piece, she told Mel Ottenberg about her relationship with the rapper. Ottenberg, who is now the editor-in-chief of the publication, was once Rihanna’s stylist.

“We’ve known each other for a long time. I’ve seen him in relationships. He’s seen me in relationships. We’ve seen each other outside of relationships. From there, she explained that the COVID-19 pandemic sped up their relationship. “I let god lead and just let go,” she added. “Because in previous relationships, I tried and tried and tried my best, and you still feel like it’s not enough. So when someone sees you completely, and believes in you, and thinks you’re worthy of being the mother of their kids, it’s a great feeling. I felt the same about him. I knew he would be a great dad.” Rihanna also admitted she’d be down for more kids: “I don’t know what god wants, but I would go for more than two. I would try for my girl. But of course if it’s another boy, it’s another boy.”

ASAP Rocky Is So Stylish That He Makes Even Rihanna Feel ‘Bummy As Sh*t’

If you were making a list of the most stylish celebrity couples, Rihanna and ASAP Rocky would absolutely be on it. They may even be No. 1, but either way, they’re undoubtedly in the conversation. If you ask Rihanna, though, it’s Rocky who’s pulling most of the weight there, as she reckons his style game is far above her own, as she said in a new Interview conversation with her stylist (and Interview editor in chief) Mel Ottenberg.

Ottenberg made note of Rihanna’s earring and she revealed it was a gift from Rocky. Ottenberg then complimented Rocky’s taste and Rihanna responded, “Isn’t he the best? I be feeling bummy as sh*t next to this man. I feel like, g*ddamn, I look like his assistant. I’m getting on a plane. We should be in sweats. He wants to be in a full Bottega suit. I’m like, ‘Why you got to do that to me?’”

Ottenberg then wondered if there’s “a little competition for the looks” between the two and Rihanna replied, “No. It’s more like I spend my time getting the kids dressed to death, and then I’m like, ‘What’s the most comfortable outfit to wear around them? What’s not going to feel uncomfortable on their face or on their body or make me feel like I can’t hold them properly?’ Moms are lazy dressers in real life.”

Asian Doll Apologizes For Calling Wale Ugly But Still Sends Shade His Way

Asian Doll has apologized to Wale for calling him ugly but still described him as “mean.” It comes after she previously labeled him the “worst celebrity” in a since-deleted post. “Why that girl call me Ugly,” Wale asked on Twitter, Monday. “All jokes aside I’m sorry fr you not even ugly just mean,” she wrote back with a crying emoji.

When The Neighborhood Talk shared the tweets on Instagram, fans shared plenty of laughs about the candid response. “So basically pretty in the face but his attitude stanks?” one user wrote with a laughing emoji. Another added: “At least she took the ugly part back and apologized.”

His back and forth with Asian Doll wasn’t the only drama Wale partook in on Monday. He also responded to Meek Mill calling him out while attempting to avoid any escalation. “When u get in other people unserious drama in this industry 90pct of the time they be back friends… eventually ..and then u look silly… in the end… so I love minding my business,” he wrote. “If a photo can create such vitriol, one has to ask himself some questions. Happy Monday.” Meek had accused him of never liking him and threatened him with physical violence. He was unhappy that Wale posed for a picture with his former friend, Dean Stay Reddy.

Shaboozey Wants Latto So Bad That He Doesn’t Care She’s Already Taken

For a long time now, the hip-hop community has assumed a relationship between Latto and 21 Savage, although it seems like Shaboozey didn’t get the memo. Moreover, he recently quote-tweeted a mirror selfie that she posted on the social media platform, with a very simple and hard to misinterpret message: “Hiii.” When fans pointed out that the Clayton County MC is already (presumably) taken, the Fairfax native wasted no time in doubling down. “Why they ain’t never post each other???” he responded to a fan who pointed this out, whereas when another user told him to “Focus,” he simply said, “I’m focused… on her.”

Overall, this unabashed thirsting was as comical as it was upfront, and it had a cheeky enough energy to it to lend itself well to Latto’s sense of humor if she were to respond to Shaboozey. What’s more is that this is kind of an ironic time to thirst for her considering her participation in Megan Thee Stallion’s twerking challenge. The 777 artist had previously said that she needed her man’s approval before jumping into the viral trend, and the results did not disappoint many folks online. So it seems like, even at peak heat, this relationship stays strong and unwavering.

Shaboozey Shoots His Shot With Latto

Meanwhile, the “SWEET HONEY BUCKIIN’” rapper, singer, and songwriter is far from the first male celebrity to try to shoot their shot at Latto. Few before him have been as funny in the process, though, due to the blunt nature of the advance and for addressing the elephant in the room. If she wants to keep her personal life private, that’s entirely and reasonably within her right, but it also means that there will be plenty of people unable to stop themselves before shooting their shot. We’d bet that the 25-year-old doesn’t mind the attention either way.

Elsewhere, she defended Lizzo amid her retirement, encouraging her to stop listening to the trolls and to keep moving forward. This is an inverse of how the two artists had supported each other years prior, resulting in a full-circle moment. We’ll see what develops in that regard, or if any more suitors appear to get a rude awakening. For more news and the latest updates on Shaboozey and Latto, log back into HNHH.

Sainté “Still Local” Review

Sainté, the Leicester-born maestro of the mic, has long been a harbinger of innovation in the UK rap scene. With a history of crafting tracks that resonate with both the heart and the streets, his music is a testament to his love for sonic experimentation. His latest mixtape, Still Local, which was released on March 29th, is a continuation of this legacy, offering a fresh take on the genre while paying homage to his roots. It’s a project that not only reflects his journey but also his fearless approach to blending different musical styles, ensuring that each song is a new discovery, a different shade of his artistic palette. Altogether, Sainté’s commitment to pushing boundaries is evident in every beat. This makes Still Local a bold statement in a career defined by a willingness to explore and evolve.

“Classic” Saintè

Many of Saintè’s fans love him for his nostalgic sounds. Thankfully, that isn’t missing in this mixtape as well. However, perhaps more interesting is his ability to pair nostalgia with a diverse range of topics. Moreover, most of these topics are deep and intimate.

The album opens up with “Too Much,” before moving on to “Tea Over Henny.” The latter stands out in Sainté’s discography as a track with stellar instrumentals that rival the acclaim of “Summer Is Blue.” With “Route 64” Sainté takes us on an introspective journey through his emotional highways. There is also “Stop Crying,” a juxtaposition of emotions set to rhythm. “Stop Crying” opens with the quintessential UK Sainté flair, a familiar prelude that fans have come to love. However, it’s the outro that leaves a lasting impression, a wistful and floaty departure from the norm that’s sure to become an earworm for those who appreciate Sainté’s experimental edge and creative spirit.

Reflections And Complexities

The artist is bold, without sacrificing power for quality, thought-provoking content. In “Y2K,” Sainté delivers a reflective narrative, pondering the transient nature of love and success against a backdrop of nostalgic beats. “They’ll See” continues this introspective journey, with Sainté’s laid-back flow offering a tranquil respite from the often intense UK rap scene. Meanwhile, “Love Is Deep” delves into the complexities of affection and connection, set against an enchanting soundscape that underscores the depth of the emotions explored within the track. Finally, with “Milwaukee,” Sainté holds a masterclass fusion. It is a song that marries the old with the new in a celebration of musical evolution. The track feels like a conversation across time, a dialogue between the past and the future, held together by the thread of Sainté’s unwavering flow.

Saintè’s Collab Experiments

Most standout tracks on Still Local were able to shine, especially due to the diverse range of artists featured. “Currency” is an anthem for the grind, a testament to the hustle that’s both relentless and rhythmic. Sainté lays down verses that resonate with the pursuit of success, backed by a beat that’s as compelling as the almighty dollar. It’s also a track that pays homage to the drive for financial freedom, wrapped in a melody that’s rich with ambition. Draft Day doesn’t just deliver verses, he ventures into singing, complementing Sainté’s own melodies seamlessly. Altogether, it’s a melodic dialogue between two distinct artists.

“Fancy,” featuring Chow Lee, is a cultural exchange set to music, a dialogue between continents that pulses with the energy of two worlds colliding. The track’s Jersey beat is a playful challenge, an invitation to dance at the intersection of tradition and innovation. The synergy between Sainté and Chow Lee is palpable, as their styles intertwine seamlessly, producing a track that’s as intriguing as it is enjoyable.

“Alone,” featuring the ethereal vocals of Beattie and the dynamic presence of Loukeman, stands as a poignant exploration of solitude. Sainté’s verses, introspective and raw, delve into the dichotomy of life’s solitary journey against the backdrop of Beattie’s haunting harmonies and Loukeman’s compelling rhythms. Furthermore, the collaboration with Lil Silva on “Safe” is a dreamscape painted in sound, a lullaby for the soul that speaks of safety not as a place, but as a state of being. Finally, “G’s Reign,” the mixtape’s concluding track, is a raw and unfiltered narrative that strips away the layers to reveal the core of Sainté’s artistry. Featuring Potter Payper, it’s a track that lays bare the truths of life, a poignant reflection on purpose and presence.

The Verdict On Still Local

Summarily, Still Local is a commendable effort that showcases Sainté’s commitment to his roots and his ability to experiment with sound. It’s evident that the star is capable of leaving a lasting impact, even though the project feels wanting more sometimes. It lacks the cohesiveness and energy to elevate it beyond what we’ve come to admire already. So while the project’s potential is evident, it’s mired by a sense of everyday lingo that permeates through the tracks.

Nonetheless, it’s a solid foundation, albeit one that leaves the listener yearning for a spark that will ignite a true artistic revolution, or perhaps more of the old stuff like “Champagne Shots.” In the end, Still Local feels like a prelude to Sainté’s capabilities. It’s a mixtape that has its moments, but Sainté will need to up his game by the time his expected album will finally arrive.

Russell Simmons Goes After Sexual Assault Accuser To Cover His Legal Fees

Russell Simmons wants his sexual assault accuser, Drew Dixon, to cover his legal fees as she is suing him for defamation. The Def Jam co-founder allegedly attempted to tarnish her reputation by downplaying her claims during a December 2023 interview with The New York Times. Simmons, on the other hand, says his comments were of public concern.

“Due to the nature of both Plaintiff’s and Simmons’s fame, and Plaintiff’s public discussion about their sexual history, this topic may fairly be considered as relating to a matter of ‘social or other concern of the community,” Simmons’s attorney David Fish explained in a new filing, as caught by AllHipHop. “Moreover, Plaintiff cast her reputation and these allegations to the forefront of the public’s attention and created further public interest by appearing in The New York Times article, the documentary on HBO, and advocating publicly about her experience with sexual abuse…the allegedly defamatory Statements are as a response to Plaintiff’s inviting public commentary on her interactions with Simmons.”

As for Simmons’ comments at the center of the lawsuit, he told The New York Times in part: “If you slept with as many people as I slept with—thousands—and we’re talking about six people. But I can simply tell you that I was in so many compromising situations, that people can have a recollection from 30 or 40 years ago, and it can be different from my recollection…could some reimagine a story out of thousands of people? Could someone want notoriety in the market where people thirst for fame, even infamous?”

Simmons previously made headlines, earlier this week, for supporting his daughter Aoki’s relationship with 65-year-old restaurateur Vittorio Assaf despite the age gap. Be on the lookout for further updates on Russell Simmons on HotNewHipHop.

JT & Saucy Santana Make Up After Nasty Twitter Spat

The City Girls’ camp has been subject to a whole lot of unexpected and Earth-shattering drama for the past few days. Moreover, this all culminated in a spat between group members Yung Miami and JT on social media, which has fortunately since resolved and has now set the precedent for how other feuds could culminate between their associates moving forward. For example, the latter of the Florida rappers also caught some strays from Saucy Santana, who questioned why he’s always felt slighted by her. After a brief back-and-forth, the two frequent collaborators seem to have made up, per one of Santana’s last tweets at press time.

“If I’m ever mad I have a reason to be behind close doors you have done stuff to me that you think I should just get over!” JT began on Twitter. “You never come to my defense when I would’ve literally took a bullet for you!” “BINGO!!!!” Saucy Santana quote-tweeted. “The last sentence is the problem. This what it ALWAYS been! How much have I bigged u up!!! Had your back! Been w/ u thru highs & lows! Always congratulated! Boosted confidence & egos! U know the real so why it’s always shade for me?! One minute you love me. Next minute I’m ‘Caresha friend.’

“Never did NOTHING Ill to you, @ThegirlJT,” Saucy Santana continued. “Somehow I always ended up on the receiving of the shade. From the live when u first got out when then followed Blocc Boy JB calling me a f***ot and u sat dea! Snatching mics at rollong loud, calling me your ‘favorite opp’ on your bday. What have I ever done to you?! Besides be a FRIEND.” “Your career started from being disrespected on live!” JT clapped back. “You really tryna play me as a homophobe? Wow! To be fair i didn’t know how to work like I had just got out & rolling loud got time limits I GAVE you my mic to begin with…. WHOA! SMH baby don’t do this to me!

JT Responds, Santana Clarifies That It’s All Good Now

Then, Santana reposted an old video of the two at a club embracing, and captioned it with: “How the story ENDS! We talked! [heart emoji] Moving forward!” Not only that, but it seems like the City Girls MC’s feud with GloRilla might reach a similar conclusion, as it seems like neither side is really taking it all that seriously. Metro Boomin, Future, & The Weeknd Build Up Anticipation With New Snippet Ahead Of “We Still Don’t Trust You

The hype within the trap rap circle is reaching uncontrollable levels with We Still Don’t Trust You just four days away. The sequel to Metro Boomin and Future’s WE DON’T TRUST YOU is especially exciting because it is an entirely separate album. This album might have a hard time living up the hype around its predecessor. That partially has to do with “Like That” being such a massive song. But also, there was a lot of quality to be had on WDTY. However, this new snippet from Metro, Future and The Weeknd, has us thinking this will be one heck of an album.

Of course, this trio were just seen on “Young Metro,” a woozy, dark, and atmospheric cut with stunning synths from MIKE DEAN. People were ecstatic to hear The Weeknd feature again, especially in this capacity. But some felt let down when all the Canadian superstar was tasked with handling adlibs and crooning. This new snippet holds out hope for us and everyone else, that things will be different this time around.

Fans Are Always Ready For A Metro, Future, & Weeknd Track

The instrumental is eerie once again. But instead of going full trap, it feels like it was inspired by After Hours. The steady drum pattern and synths feel 80s inspired and share similarities with “After Hours” as well. You can audibly hear The Weeknd wailing with Future sneaking in, “We still don’t trust you.” Fans are showing loads of optimism, saying, “So hyped for this.”

What are your thoughts on this new Metro Boomin, Future, and Weeknd snippet ahead of We Still Don’t Trust You? Will this be a better song that “Young Metro” from WE DON’T TRUST YOU? What album will be better? Who else do you hope to hear featured on the record? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. Additionally, always keep it locked in with HNHH for all of the latest news surrounding Future, Metro Boomin, The Weeknd, and We Still Don’t Trust You.
