Megan Thee Stallion Hypes Up Her Upcoming Appearance On “Family Feud”

Megan Thee Stallion has been everywhere so far in 2024. She made waves back in January with the release of her explosive single “HISS.” The track took aim at all of her haters and doubters with numerous specific references to notable foes. Fans are hoping that that and the song “Cobra” she dropped last year are building towards a new album at some point in 2024.

Now she’s hyping up the next place she’ll be appearing, an episode of Family Feud. “This might be in the top 5 of best family feud episodes. I CANT WAIT FOR YALL TO SEE THIS. #TeamMegan” a recent tweet she made reads. It’s attached to a trio of pictures show off her look on the show and her alongside her entire team. Megan Thee Stallion Excited For “Family Feud” Episode To Air

Earlier this week, Megan got some attention for her stunning look during a basketball game. She sat courtside for a recent game between the Minnesota Timberwolves and Los Angeles Lakers. The late-season contest has some major implications for the NBA playoffs but plenty of eyes were focused on the “Savage” singer.

One particular moment stood out during the game though. Lakers star D’Angelo Russel ended up tumbling into the crowd and had to avoid a photographer sitting on the ground. But in doing so he crashed right into where Megan was sitting courtside. While she seemed a bit rattled by the interaction she shook it off quickly. What do you think of Megan Thee Stallion’s excitement over her upcoming appearance on Family Feud? Do you plan on tuning into the episode whenever it ends up airing? Lil Uzi Vert Finally Sells The Mansion They Listed Last Year

Late last year, Lil Uzi Vert put their California mansion up for sale. The property is in Bell Canyon and the rapper originally bought it back in 2021. The quick turnaround had the potential to net Uzi a nice profit as it was originally listed for $6 million. The five months it took to sell probably weren’t a good sign. That’s why it’s no surprise that the property eventually sold for an underwhelming $4.35 million. Given that Uzi bought the mansion for $4.4 million just a few years ago the final price tag has to be a bit of a let down for the rapper.

Earlier this year, Lil Uzi Vert deactivated their social media. They weren’t exactly clear on why but as a result they’ve been extremely quiet since. The rapper promised two new projects last year following the release of Pink Tape, but neither ever materialized. The first was the long-awaited third edition of their LUV Is Rage series. Fans were hoping the project would drop like an extended deluxe edition similar to LUV Vs. The World 2 and Eternal Atake back in 2019. The second album they announced was a tribute to Young Thug called Barter 16. The project even got an album cover where Uzi mirrored a classic Thug cover. Neither project was ever officially released despite repeated teases.

Lil Uzi Vert Sells Their Mansion For $4.35 Million

Uzi’s absence from social media has kept them away from some of the numerous dramas surrounding their partner, City Girls rapper JT. She’s been engaging in a back and forth with GloRilla dating back to last week.

But even more shocking to fans was her recent spat with the other member of City Girls, Yung Miami. The pair filled Twitter feeds with their arguments yesterday. It got so bad that “the girls are fighting” began trending on Twitter. What do you think of Lil Uzi Vert selling their mansion for slightly less than they bought it for a few years ago? Do you hope they return to social media soon? Let us know in the comment section below.

Will J. Cole’s ‘7 Minute Drill’ Still Be Removed From Streaming?

j cole

When J. Cole titled his new mixtape Might Delete Later, fans had no idea how literal that name would end up being — or how quickly the prophesy would come to pass. Just three days passed before J. Cole declared one of the songs, “7 Minute Drill,” the “lamest sh*t I did in my f*ckin’ life.” The song, built around a halfhearted response to Kendrick Lamar’s fiery call-out on Future and Metro Boomin’s “Like That,” received a somewhat lukewarm response from the hip-hop community, who questioned the premises of many of its positions on Kendrick Lamar’s musical output along with the wisdom of J Cole chucking those particular stones from the inside of a glass mansion.

After he apologized for the song, are likely wondering whether he intends to withdraw it from streaming completely. And while that wouldn’t be completely unreasonable… it would be utterly horrible optics.

The last time J. Cole got into a simliarly sensational tiff with another rapper was in 2020, when he released “Snow On Tha Bluff” and stumbled backwards into an ill-advised beef with Noname. In that case, he was met with the concise but stern response “Song 33,” as well as disapproval from peers who called him out for distracting from more meaningful discussions at the time. Notably, although both rappers expressed regrets for the short-lived feud, both songs are still on streaming.

Should J. Cole retract “7 Minute Drill” completely when he did not do the same for “Snow On Tha Bluff,” the contrast would almost certainly call scrutiny to his questionable views toward women; some commenters have already noted that he apologized for dissing Kendrick (this after subtly and overtly inviting battle for years) but not for lyrics perceived as transphobic elsewhere on Might Delete Later. On “Pi,” he taunts a straw opponent, “I’m seeing hints of a trans fella / In cancel culture’s vicinity, he’s no killer, trust me / Beneath his chosen identity, there is still a pussy.” Fans on Twitter have rightly noted that this is just the latest example in a pattern of lyrics with demeaning views of queerness (see also: the Born Sinner intro “Villuminati,” with multiple uses of a gay slur).

So, as of now, it doesn’t look like J. Cole plans to remove “7 Minute Drill” from streaming, but there are certainly quite a few other tracks in his discograpy that could also use some pruning and apologies.

Ye’s Donda Academy Accuser Allegedly Still Has A Daughter In The School’s Choir

The month of April started off with some wild claims from a new lawsuit filed against Ye, formerly Kanye West, and his Donda Academy school. It’s hardly the first time anybody has taken him to court over the controversial Academy. Last year bizarre details emerged from a lawsuit about the school. They claimed it had open skylights and no windows because the rapper reportedly didn’t like glass. West was also hit with lawsuits relating to racial discrimination and wrongful termination. Those have both come up repeatedly from the school.

The newest lawsuit features some of the most bizarre claims yet. Included in the lawsuit are claims that he threatened to shave children’s heads and lock them in cages at the school. Almost as audacious is some of what West reportedly said to students and faculty. The lawsuit cites an antisemitic rant he went on following Adidas cutting ties with him for his public antisemitic comments. It also details conspiracies he reportedly pushed about gay people and population control. The suit itself is over discrimination, retaliation, and wrongful termination. But recently Page Six uncovered some interesting information relating to the family of the man who filed the suit.

Ye’s Accuser Still Has A Daughter In Donda Choir

New information uncovered from the Academy’s attendance records revealed that the man who filed the lawsuit has a daughter who is still participating in the Donda Choir. Records show that she’s continued to attend even as the lawsuit was filed last week. In their report, Page Six even goes as far as to say that he’s made “no attempt” to have his daughter removed from the choir. The news immediately had some of the rapper’s biggest followers trying to poke holes in the lawsuit’s credibility online.

What do you think of the man who filed a lawsuit against the Donda Academy still having a daughter in the school’s choir? Do you think it calls the legitimacy of some of his claims into question? Let us know in the comment section below.

Stephen A. Smith Reveals Why He Is Taking Drake Over Kendrick Lamar Amid Their Beef

Everyone is talking about Drake, Kendrick Lamar, and J. Cole right now, including Stephen A. Smith. Perhaps sports media’s biggest personality, the First Take icon has been chiming in and getting involved in this big three conversation ever since “Like That” dropped. He did a segment for it on his self-titled talk show where he expressed his excitement for the competition, as long as it does not result in violence. Now, Stephen A. is back with some more commentary on it, explaining why he is taking Drake over Kendrick.

He gave his patented “soliloquy” on the topic during his guest appearance on the hit podcast Drink Champs, according to Hollywood Unlocked. Overall, it is a pretty solid argument from Stephen A., with the main point being that Drake is always able to keep chugging. “I’m going to go with Drake because even though everybody knows Kendrick Lamar and how gifted he is you got too many people periodically trying to come at Drake and he’s always standing,” he says. “Like mainstream, globally he’s one of those dudes.”

Smith continues, “It could be the look, it could be how he communicates. It could be his flavor it could be anything, but Drake damn near seems impenetrable… I don’t hear too many people coming at Kendrick Lamar but everybody is always trying to come at Drake and obviously I can relate to that.” Some fans disagreed, saying that Drake gets targeted a lot because he is any easy target. Consequently, Kendrick is more impenetrable because hardly anyone steps to him. We saw how that worked out for J. Cole as of late, even though it was commendable.

What are your thoughts on Stephen A. taking Drake over Kendrick Lamar in a Drink Champs debate? Do you see the vision with his reasoning for taking him, why or why not? If Drake responds to Kendrick, how do you think that will end up? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section.
