Metro Boomin Deletes Ancient Tweet About Drake And His Ability To Attract Women

Metro Boomin and Drake are currently in the midst of a beef that has been bubbling for a few months now. Overall, no one knows the origins of the feud. However, some track it back to the album Heroes & Villains, and how Metro cut Drake’s verse on the Travis Scott-assisted “Trance.” Since that time, things have escalated thanks to some things Metro had to say about Her Loss. Moreover, there was some obvious tension on We Don’t Trust You as they let Kendrick Lamar on “Like That” to diss Drake and J Cole.

Drake has since responded to the diss, and he has been taking particular aim at Metro. There was a line about Metro making drums on “Push Ups,” and since that time, Drake has continued to troll the producer on social media. Amidst all of this, some fans have dug up old tweets from 2010 in which Metro could be seen praising Drake. For instance, in the tweet below, Metro theorized how if hip-hop were like high school, the megastar would be making everyone mad because of all the girls he would have.

Metro Boomin Tweeted A Lot In His Younger Years

This old tweet has been making the rounds all throughout social media this past week. However, it seems like Metro caught on, and took swift action. Now, the tweet has been deleted, although a screenshot of this fact has been making the rounds. It all seems very silly, and quite frankly, it is. But when it comes to rap beef, it seems like all of these artists are taking it seriously. Only time will tell if they will ever kiss and make up.

Let us know your thoughts on this feud between Drake and Metro Boomin, in the comments section down below. Whose side are you taking in all of this? Do you believe that the two can ever reconcile and make music together again? Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the music world. Latto Blasts Fans Calling Her Dad A Pedophile Over Alleged Age Gap With Rapper’s Mom

Latto is coming to the defense of her dad after accusers on X (formerly Twitter) have been calling him an alleged pedophile. These serious accusations were made after the Columbus, Ohio native shared a past and present set of photos of her mom. They have gone viral overnight due to fans, mostly men, deeming the more recent picture “thirst trap worthy.” Also catching people off guard was the caption that went along with the first image of Latto’s mom holding the rapper as a baby. “My mama 15yr old fast a** w me.” Having a child that early nowadays is a shocking thing to hear and it got people wondering how old the man was at the time. Unfortunately for Latto, she has had to combat people online calling her dad a pedophile.

Where these people got this information that Latto’s pops was much older than her mother is still a mystery. According to HipHopDX, X users were claiming that he was 23 when he got Latto’s mom pregnant. “Her dad was 23 and her mom was 15 at the time of conception. Wouldn’t that make her father a pedophile? Mhm thinks,” someone wrote.

Latto Is Not Taking Any Disrespect Toward Her Dad

Latto had enough after someone asked her, “So how old is her dad??? That’s the question.” “My parents are 3 yrs apart lol,” the hitmaker said back. Surely the men saying things like, “I’m ready to be the father that stepped up,” already were getting on the hitmaker’s nerves. But potentially life-altering claims like this just took her over the edge.

What are your thoughts on Latto defending her dad against the pedophilic claims? Why do people always assume the worst in general, why or why not? Are you surprised at how viral Latto’s mom has become on social media? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. Drake Hires Marching Band To Perform Outside Magic City In Grand Effort To Troll Metro Boomin

Drake isn’t letting up on Metro Boomin on social media, amid their ongoing feud. Taking to his Instagram Story on Tuesday, he shared a meme referencing a bar on his new diss track, “Push Ups,” with which he tells the producer to “shut your h*e ass up and make some drums, n***a.” Additionally, he hired a marching band to perform outside of Magic City in Atlanta.

When DJ Akademiks shared a clip of the marching band on Instagram, users compared Drake’s level of trolling to 50 Cent. One fan joked: “He bullying Metro at this point because he literally can’t fight back.” Another user compared the antics to Rick Ross. “So this is funny but Ross is corny? The amount of passes yall give this n***a is insane,” they argued.

The feud took off when Kendrick Lamar dissed the Toronto rapper on Metro and Future’s song, “Like That,” last month. On the song, he rapped: “F*ck sneak dissin’, first-person shooter, I hope they came with three switches… Motherf*ck the big three, n***a, it’s just big me. N***a, bum… ‘Fore all your dogs gettin’ buried / That’s a K with all these nines, he gon’ see Pet Sematary.” In the time since, Metro and Future dropped a second collaborative album featuring several more artists dissing Drake, including ASAP Rocky and The Weeknd. He finally responded with “Push Ups,” last week. Check out the latest antics from the feud below.

Drake & Lil Yachty Reference Track Situation Leads To Heated Legacy Debate

Drake is someone who has had to deal with ghostwriting discourse for the last decade. Overall, this is all because of Meek Mill, who exposed him for using writers on If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late. Of course, this is a big no-no in hip-hop. MCs take a lot of pride in their bars, and finding out that the megastar had some help made some people turn on him. Or, at least, it had people contemplating whether or not Drake had a GOAT case. However, in recent years, fans have come to terms with the fact that even the best rappers have writers who will help them with hooks and melodies, here and there.

Amid his feud with Kendrick Lamar, a reference track from Lil Yachty began surfacing online yesterday. This reference track was for the song “Jumbotron Shit Poppin” off of Her Loss. Essentially, Yachty did the entire track, and Drake just sang it word for word, with the same melody. Although Drake has written for countless artists, including Kanye West, fans still felt like this was some sort of betrayal. While ghostwriters help, fans felt it was weird that Drizzy was just taking an entire song and not changing it up whatsoever.

Drake Debates Rage On

Once again, this isn’t necessarily uncommon. Regardless, it still led to a huge legacy debate. On The Neighborhood Talk, you can see a plethora of tweets from fans who are split on what the reference track truly means. Some think it is totally normal and that Drizzy is still one of the greats. Meanwhile, others believe this completely disqualifies him from further GOAT discussions. It is a tired debate, albeit one that will continue to draw attention for quite some time.

Let us know what you think about all of this, in the comments section down below. Do you believe that this reference track actually affects Drake’s legacy in any tangible way? What would make you reconsider Drizzy’s legacy at the top of the rap game? Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the music world. Cardi B Seen Working With Pardison Fontaine, Leading Fans To Speculate This

Cardi B and Pardison Fontaine have been linked to each other for quite a few years. Both rappers have worked extensively together, with the latter helping the femcee write some of most recognizable hits. Some of those include “WAP” with Megan Thee Stallion, “Money,” “Up,” and even “Bodak Yellow.” Pardi has also been quoted numerous times, praising the gritty New York hitmaker. “Cardi’s a genius, period – on so many levels. I say this all the time. She would’ve been a star no matter what she chose to do,” Fontaine said.

“She would have been a star. That’s what she is. She really pioneered a lot of the energy that you see on the internet right now.” With the two artists having so much mutual respect for one another, it was no surprise to see them in the recording booth recently. A clip shared by Live Bitez and from what appeared to be an Instagram live, Cardi and Pardi were laughing it up and joking around with each other.

But internet trolls in the comments section always having negative to say even when it comes to wholesome moments like this. Fans were making jokes that Pardi is writing another hit for Cardi, “A song he wrote… duh,” one person wrote. Another was even going as far as to call out the femcee for working with Megan Thee Stallion’s ex. “Wait how u working with your friends opps,” she asked. What comes out of these sessions remains to be seen, but we just hope its fire.

What are your thoughts on Cardi B and Pardison Fontaine linking up for a collaboration? Do you think this has any underlying intent, why or why not? As for his relationship with The Notorious B.I.G., Cee served as a producer on his 1994 debut studio album, Ready to Die. He reflected on their relationship during an interview with Rock the Bells, last November. “The first time I met him was when his DJ, 50 Grand, rest in peace, brought Big to my house. The plan was we were going to redo the basement demo that he and 50 Grand put together,” Mister Cee recalled at the time. “Big was very shy. He would always talk with his head down and say, ‘Yo man, don’t be promising me nothing, man. If you say you’re going to do something, do it.’ And I’m like, nah, we’re going to redo the demo. We weren’t in a studio. We were at my house. I did it with two turntables, just cutting the record back and forth. We had a little cheesy mic that was better than the mic 50 Grand had at his house.”

Upon news of Cee’s death, many noteworthy names in hip-hop shared condolences on social media including DJ Premier, 50 Cent, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Peter Rosenberg, Queen Latifah, and more. Be on the lookout for further updates on Mister Cee on HotNewHipHop.

Kid Cudi Seemingly Has Beef With Donald Glover, But Glover Just Isn’t Interested

Back in February, an X (formerly Twitter) user tweeted, “@KiDCuDi You and Gambino gotta work on something whether it’s TV, movies, or music we’d love to see/hear it! Your guys’ song Warlords needs an official release!” Kid Cudi shared the tweet and replied, “Im cool.”

This seemingly indicated Cudi has some sort of issue with Donald Glover/Childish Gambino, although based on publicly available information, it’s not clear why. Whatever the case, Glover has addressed it.

As HotNewHipHop notes, during a recent Instagram Live broadcast, a fan asked Glover for his thoughts on Cudi. Glover said, “Kid Cudi, if you got a problem, like, I’m not here for the beef. Just, like, talk to me. […] ‘Cause it’s like, we don’t have to agree on everything, but we also don’t have to be like, ‘Yeah, when I see you, we have to want to kill each other.’ I don’t… man, life is too short.”

Back in the day, early in Glover’s music career, he opened for Cudi and didn’t have an awesome time. He reminisced about that last year, saying, “At the time, I had a full band and a violinist. I just kept turning to the band and telling them, ‘Next song! Next song!’ I put on a really intense show through the boos.”

Childish Gambino Receives Second Lawsuit As Kidd Wes Continues To Fight Over “This Is America”

Nearly three years ago, Childish Gambino was sent a copyright infringement lawsuit from fellow rapper Kidd Wes. The latter felt that “This Is America” was “unmistakably substantially similar, if not practically identical” according to those past legal documents. However, almost two years later, on March 24, 2023, Judge Victor Marrero of a New York federal court dismissed the lawsuit. It was ultimately decided that there were not enough similarities between the Gambino’s version and Kidd Wes’ “Made In America,” which was released a year prior in comparison. Now, according to AllHipHop, Wes is still searching for justice, as he recently filed a second lawsuit against Gambino.

Pulling information from Courthouse News, they discovered that this was put in motion on Monday, April 15. To get more technical about this, Judge Marrero originally shut this down because Kidd Wes failed to copyright the underlying musical composition of “Made In America.” Because of that, Kidd Wes would have lost with proper copyright registration all together. Of course, there was massive pushback from his attorney Gregory William Keenan.

Does Kidd Wes Have An Argument Against Childish Gambino?

He saw this is as an “administrative mistake.” Keenan stated, “An applicant for a copyright registration, especially one who’s not a lawyer, might check the wrong box on the registration documents as a result of some legal oversight.” Jonathan Davis, Gambino’s lawyer argued that this [was] not a mere error.” Wes and his team are currently awaiting the results of their second attempt, so be sure to check back with us when we find out more.

What are your thoughts on Childish Gambino being sued again? Do you think this lawsuit will have a different result, why or why not? Listening to the songs back-to-back, do you spot any glaring similarities? Is this song still in your rotation? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. Rick Ross Brings Trolling To Drake’s DMs, Calls Him “#NoseJobPapi”

Rick Ross has gotten even more direct with his trolling of Drake on social media, now taking to the Toronto rapper’s DMs. He shared the messages on his Instagram Story, Monday night. In one, Ross wrote: “I wrote it white boy,” with a nose emoji. In a second, he forwarded him a meme about the rumors of him getting a nose job.

The latest teasing comes after Ross seemed to allude to writing Drake’s iconic verse on Travis Scott’s “Sicko Mode.” In a previous video of himself listening to the track over the weekend, Ross remarked “Who wrote this? Guess who wrote this. You would never guess who wrote this.”

The online feuding between the two began when Drake mentioned Ross in his leaked diss track, “Push Ups.” Within hours, Ross fired back with “Champagne Moments.” On his song, he rapped: “You ain’t never wanna be a n***a anyway, n***a, that’s why you got operation to make ya’ nose smaller than ya’ father nose, n***a. I unfollowed you, n***a, ’cause you sent a motherf*ckin’ cease and desist to French Montana, n***a. You sent the police, n***a, hated on the dog project.” Drake took issues with the bars and described them as “racist” during a public text exchange with his mother. Joe Budden Reveals How His Love Of Escorts Has Led To Valuable Drake Intel

Overall, Joe Budden is one of the most popular and heralded figures in hip-hop media. While some people seem to be jealous of that, Budden continues to do his own thing. Throughout the past year, he has found himself in feuds with a ton of artists. Ari Lennox, NBA YoungBoy, and even Drake have found themselves at odds with the rapper-turned-podcaster. Now that Drake and Kendrick Lamar are beefing, fans have been looking towards Joe’s opinion on everything. After all, he seems to always have an inside scoop.

This weekend, Joe did a podcast episode with DJ Akademiks. During this episode, Ak tried to get to the bottom of Budden’s previous issues with Drake. As Budden explained, he really doesn’t have any issues with Drizzy. Instead, he respects the man as an artist. He just always has tough love for creators, and that comes through for the megastar. This led to some pressure from Akademiks, who continued to question Budden. That is when Joe revealed that a lot of his Drake intel doesn’t even come from OVO. It actually just comes from escorts.

Joe Budden Keeps Himself Honest

“I think most of my Drake intel today comes from my love of escorts,” Joe explained. “I’m not trying to be funny. The escorts just always know. The escorts are ground level to it all. The escorts are the CIA of the subway system.” It is a very unique admission, and not one that everyone would be willing to make. However, Budden has always been shameless in the past. That said, this certainly implies something about Drake, and an alleged similar interest. Either way, Budden remains an entertaining figure.

Let us know what you think about these comments from Joe Budden, in the comments section down below. Do you believe that he is too much of a Drake hater? Have you been amused by his back and forths with the megastar? Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the music world.
