When Can You Play PartyNextDoor’s New Album ‘P4’ On Spotify?

PartyNextDoor is back. The Toronto singer had taken a bit of a hiatus for the past few years, sharing new music only sparingly (“Her Old Friends,” “Resentment“) until announcing his new album, PartyNextDoor 4 (or P4) last month. Now, it’s just hours from appearing on DSPs, and fans are already plenty excited to find out what the toxic troubadour has in store.

When Can You Play PartyNextDoor’s New Album P4 On Spotify?

PartyNextDoor 4 is out 4/26 via OVO Sound / Warner Records. That means it’ll most likely hit streaming platforms like Apple Music, Spotify, and Tidal at midnight, eastern time (which is 9 PM pacific).

Just make sure nobody can see your device screen when you pull it up to listen to it; the album’s raunchy cover photo caused a fair amount of consternation online when he revealed it back on April 1st, prompting some fans to wonder if the cover was an April Fool’s joke. However, it looks like Party is dead serious, forging ahead with the cover photo, which fans later learned was modeled by Lanazia Greene, who told Complex, “The reaction was insane. I didn’t think that it would at all go crazy the way that it did.”

You can listen to P4 on all DSPs at midnight on 4/26.

Trippie Redd Thinks This Drake Diss Track Is The Greatest Of All Time

Trippie Redd and Machine Gun Kelly, the brains behind the recently released genre : sadboy project, were Complex‘s most recent guests for their GOAT Talk series, in which artists debate the best (and worst) contenders in particular categories. The topic of diss tracks came up, for which MGK suggested a pretty understandably biased answer: his “Rap Devil” diss track towards Eminem from back in 2018. On the other hand, Trippie invoked former collaborator Drake and his Meek Mill diss, 2015’s “Back To Back,” as his answer. As far as other revelations, the “Taking A Walk” creative named Young Thug as the greatest MC of all time, whereas Kelly gave Lil Wayne the title.

Furthermore, both sadboys have been involved in some publicly notable beef in the past, albeit for very different reasons and with very different results. Machine Gun Kelly battled Eminem in 2018, a feud which ended with Slim Shady’s “Killshot” diss track and no response from its target, who chose to publicly downplay it rather than clap back. Whether or not you agree with his assessment, at least he put an end to it instead of ignoring it until the hype died down. In Trippie Redd’s case, he and former collaborator 6ix9ine went at it online, but one of Tekashi’s former associates, Anthony “Harv” Ellison, claimed that it was all fake for staged publicity.

Trippie Redd & Machine Gun Kelly On GOAT Talk: Watch

The “GOAT Diss Song” conversation begins at around the 7:15-minute mark.

Another debatably staged development has been taking over a lot of discourse around genre : sadboy, in fact. Trippie Redd and Machine Gun Kelly recently clowned a producer who they fired from their collab project, who claimed that part of their rollout was to start beef with producers from their tape. Overall, it’s a very confusing and odd marketing decision either way, whether to lean into it or to seemingly validate the claims. Maybe this is just the evolution of rap beef these days: fighting over made-up fights and why the made-up fights are worse than the real fights over the blah, blah, blah… and so on.

Meanwhile, this all unfortunately falls under some mournful context given the passing of Trippie’s frequent collaborator Chris King. It’s a difficult time for his loved ones, and one that these debacles over genre : sadboy must not make any easier for the Ohio native in particular. We wish King’s loved ones and him the best in this trying time, and that they find light in their corners. For more news and the latest updates on Trippie Redd and Drake, log back into HNHH.

Travis Scott Will Have To Face Jury Trial For Astroworld Lawsuits

Travis Scott will now have to face a jury of his peers in relation to the numerous lawsuits for the Astroworld Festival tragedy. According to Billboard, Judge Kristen Hawkins has ruled that Scott will not be able to avoid the trial. Previously, Scott’s attorneys had claimed that he could not be legally liable for what went down. Attorney Daniel Petrocelli was the one to make this argument, noting that adrenaline and all sorts of other factors play into these shows.

“Like any other adrenaline-inducing diversion, music festivals must balance exhilaration with safety and security—but that balance is not the job of performing artists, even those involved in promoting and marketing performances,” Scott’s attorney said. “Which only makes sense: Performing artists, even those who engage in certain promotional activities, have no inherent expertise or specialized knowledge in concert safety measures, venue security protocols, or site-design.”

Scott has been sued by upwards of 2500 people, including the families of those who passed away during the show. Artists like Drake have been investigated throughout the process, although Drizzy has been asked to be dismissed from the case. In fact, Drake got what he wanted. Now, Scott will have to go through the arduous court process, and it could very well take a while given the fact that a class action lawsuit is at play. Only time will tell how this will play out.

Kanye West Divulges On Falling Out With Pusha T

Kanye West’s recent interview with Justin LaBoy on his The Download podcast did a whole lot more than add another solider to the Drake coup d’état taking over hip-hop right now. Moreover, it also saw him open up about a lot of industry relationships, past claims and beefs, and what the future might hold. One particularly interesting part was when Ye reflected on his relationship with Pusha T, former G.O.O.D. Music president and frequent collaborator. The two seemed to fall out following Push’s comments on his former partner’s antisemitic and right-wing ties and behavior, but the Yeezy mogul also suggested that they aren’t completely disconnected right now.

“I just spoke with Pusha the other day,” Kanye West remarked. “It was good to talk to him. It was the first time talking to him in a couple months. We made good music together. I thought that somehow because I made beats and made music for somebody that when I couldn’t see my children, these people would use their platform. ‘Cause I used my platform on their behalf. Now I realize no one owes me anything… If you depend on somebody who is not giving you what you need, you’re the one that’s in the wrong.”

Kanye West Details What His Relationship With Pusha T Looks Like Now: Watch

Meanwhile, this is what Pusha T had to say to XXL about Kanye West’s worrisome behavior and affiliations in late 2022, which he expressed in tandem with his departure from G.O.O.D. Music. “It’s beyond that and it’s nothing to tap dance around,” he posited. “It’s wrong. Period. But to me, it’s just me and him having a difference of opinion yet again. ’Cause we done had this for years. He’s not speaking to me now. If you ain’t with it, you ain’t down. And I ain’t with it. I’m not budging on that. I’m not with it.

“I heard about this new stuff,” the Clipse MC shared, possibly alluding to Ye’s appearances on right-wing-adjacent media like InfoWars or Fox News. “I don’t know. It’s something that just sort of tells me he’s not well, at the same time. I will say that. It’s going to places where it’s no way to move around it. Remember, I’m the one that said the MAGA hat is the new Klu Klux Klan hood while he’s making my album. He beefing with Obama. I met Obama. But it’s the same thing with him and the Drake thing. I’m going through this and that, he’s doing shows [with him].” This also follows news of allegedly leaked text messages between them that surfaced online earlier this year, although those are unconfirmed. Regardless, check back in with HNHH for the latest news and more updates on Kanye West and Pusha T.

Who Is Anthony Saleh? The Music Manager Connected To Kendrick Lamar, Nas & Future

Last week, Drake posted several images of a music industry executive and business investor named Anthony Saleh, as a means to troll Kendrick Lamar. After Drake dissed Kendrick with tracks such as “Push Ups” and “Taylor Made Freestyle,” the 37-year-old Canadian artist shared images of Saleh with captions like “Is today the day?” and “Are we getting in our bag or nah??” Reports quickly clarified that Anthony Saleh is Kendrick Lamar’s manager, as initially revealed by Hits Daily Double in 2021, proving that Drake was attempting to use these images to hurry a response from people in Kendrick’s social and artistic circle.

But what do we know about Anthony Saleh? Despite his connections to several high-profile clients in the rap world, the industry insider actively maintains a low-key presence on social media platforms and rarely appears in public. He has locked down his X (formerly Twitter) account, meaning only a select few can access Saleh’s social media. In a way, it seems like Saleh is the perfect match for Kendrick Lamar, as Kendrick has a known aversion to sharing private details of his life with the public, outside of music of course. So, let’s take a look at Anthony Saleh’s business track record, and see what we can find out.

Saleh Is The CEO Of A Management Firm

Kendrick Lamar isn’t the only big name in rap connected to Anthony Saleh. According to a write-up in Complex, Saleh is the CEO of Emagen Entertainment Group, which reps such notable acts as Nas, Alina Baraz, Col3trane, and Devault. Saleh previously worked with Future and assisted him in the release of his back-to-back number 1 records, Future and Hndrxx. Given that Kendrick Lamar’s verse on Future and Metro Boomin’s “Like That” from We Don’t Trust You kicked off the ongoing “rap civil war,” it seems clear that Drake is well aware of Anthony Saleh’s ties to Future.

Emagen’s site no longer lists Future as a client, though Anthony Saleh has multiple business holdings outside of the management firm such as a general partner role, WndrCo., a holding company that has invested in companies like MixCloud. Kendrick does not appear on the Emagen Entertainment Group roster, despite his ongoing relationship with Saleh. Kendrick and the executive officially linked up only 10 weeks before the “Humble” rapper released his latest LP, Mr. Morale And The Big Steppers, which served as his final project on the Top Dawg Entertainment label.

Before Anthony Saleh took on the role of CEO at Emagen, he served as an executive vice president at Atom Factory for two years. He also joined the technology investment firm WndrCo as a partner in 2016, investing in multiple startups within the music and tech world. Since Anthony Saleh joined the firm, WndrCo has gone on to fund ventures such as Audioshake, Dapper Labs, Tracklib, and others.

Before catching public strays from Drake in the Kendrick Lamar beef, Anthony Saleh earned recognition as Nas’s silent partner, assisting the Illmatic MC in managing his finances and executive producing some of his hit records. According to a 2016 profile in Forbes, Saleh first started working with Nas at the age of 23, and the pair have made a wide array of lucrative investments together since then. The biggest bag for the pair came in the form of their joint venture QueensBridge Venture Partners, which took in more than $40 million on cryptocurrency investments on platforms like Coinbase.

Soulja Boy Has Fans Feeling Skeptical After Expressing Interest In Buying TikTok

Soulja Boy is an artist who has had many of his songs go viral over the years. Overall, virality has been a massive part of the Soulja Boy brand. However, there is no doubt that there are limits to this. This is especially true with the latest news pertaining to none other than TikTok. The platform is set to be banned in the United States of the company refuses to get a new owner. Ultimately, this is a massive issue and a lot of people are upset with the government for doing this. That said, President Joe Biden has signed off on it, which means it is law.

Yesterday, Soulja Boy lamented how much he hates the decision. In the tweets collected below by DJ Akademiks, Soulja explained just how bad this precedent is. Essentially, the government can decide to ban any app at any time, if they so choose. This subsequently led to the artist saying that he would be down to go out and buy TikTok if given the opportunity. Of course, this would be a massive purchase for Soulja Boy, although one that probably isn’t affordable without an absurd loan of some sort.

Soulja Boy Speaks

Fans noted that Soulja Boy likely doesn’t have the funds for such a purchase. “I don’t think he knows how much tiktok is worth,” one person wrote. “Bro makes so much money from tik tok hes just worry about that,” said another. Others had interesting insights about the platform and how the governments in other countries have effectively shut down American platforms. Either way, things are not looking good for TikTok right now, no matter how you swing it.

Let us know what you think about the TikTok ban and some of Soulja Boy’s plans, in the comments section down below. Do you believe that TikTok will eventually sell so it can stay in the United States? Or is it destined to fail right now? Ray J Admits His Sister Brandy Had This To Say About His Face Tattoos

Ray J has opened up a little bit more about the response to his bizarre new face tattoos, which have inspired some conversation online for their eccentric nature. Two of them are at least understandable: the names of his children Melody and Epik, but the one of his new TV network Tronix is the one that’s really raising eyebrows. Still, it seems like the singer and actor doesn’t really mind the backlash… unless it’s coming from a place where he knows it’s all love and genuine care. Moreover, he recently revealed during an Instagram livestream on Wednesday (April 24) that his sister, fellow celebrity Brandy, reached out to him after he posted a video showing the tats off with some worried thoughts.

“My sister hit me and said, ‘Yo, that post that you posted, take that s**t down,’” Ray J admitted. “She said I didn’t look clean, I looked dirty. My mouth was chapped, I got white s**t coming all out my mouth. My sister is mad at me because she doesn’t want my face tattoos. She doesn’t want me to come online irresponsibly. And that’s why I love her.”

Ray J Shows Off Face Tats In Video That Brandy Wanted Him To Take Down: Watch

Furthermore, the video already ran its course by the time that he took it down, but it’s unclear whether he was more critical of his appearance in the recording or if he’s regretting the tattoos themselves. Either way, it seems like Ray J is doing this for very different reasons than what people might assume or expect with a headline like this. “A lot of people think I’m going through some kind of crisis,” he expressed. “I appreciate y’all support for praying, but it ain’t like that. I’m never going to audition for s**t ever again. Why would I audition for a movie when I could just shoot my movie and put it up and make money?

Meanwhile, some people think that these are fake in the first place. We’ll see what Sukihana’s rumored new boo has to say about all this moving forward. Hopefully there are more people like his sister in his corner that are trying to balance out his antics. For more news and the latest updates on Ray J and Brandy, stick around on HNHH.

March was a major month for Schoolboy Q fans, as the rapper dropped Blue Lips, his first album since 2019’s Crash Talk. The project features collaborations with folks like Ab-Soul, AzChike, Freddie Gibbs, and Rico Nasty, and has been regarded by some critics as one of Schoolboy’s best albums yet. If that sounds like something you’d want to see live on stage, the good news is that Schoolboy has decided to take the album on tour.

The bad news is that as it stands now, he’s offering relatively limited opportunities to see it. Yesterday (April 24), the rapper announced Blue Lips Weekends, a series of concerts in July and August that, yes, take place during the weekends, allowing for a relatively relaxed touring schedule.

Information about specific venues isn’t available yet, but we do know that the tour will hit major cities like Toronto, Chicago, Atlanta, Brooklyn, San Francisco, and Seattle, among others. Tickets aren’t for sale yet, but fans can RSVP here to be notified when more information is available.

Machine Gun Kelly Doesn’t ‘Want Any Smoke’ With Taylor Swift’s Fan Base As He Refuses To Diss Her

People, generally speaking, like Taylor Swift; The fact that her new album, The Tortured Poets Department, just became the first project to accumulate 1 billion Spotify streams in a single week is evidence of that. Pair that with the fact that her Swiftie fan base is a passionate crew and it’s not often that you see people dissing Swift. With that in mind (and also accounting for the fact that he just likes her), Machine Gun Kelly absolutely refused to go after Swift.

This happened on yesterday’s (April 24) episode of Hot Ones Versus, a spin-off of the popular Hot Ones series in which two celebrity guests play a version of truth or dare, in which they have to eat a spicy wing to avoid responding to a potentially difficult question or prompt. MGK was paired up with Trippie Redd, and Redd asked MGK to say three bad things about Swift.

Kelly deadpanned to the camera and declared, “Ladies and gentlemen, you have got to be out of your motherf*cking mind if you think I want any smoke with that fan base. Also, Taylor is a saint and very nice to me, and Travis is my bro.”

Redd jokingly responded, “Kiss her feet while you’re at it,” and MGK replied, “Jesus Christ… I just… bro, she’s very nice! She’s very, very nice.”

Trippie Redd & Machine Gun Kelly Clown Producer Who Got Kicked Off Their New EP

Trippie Redd and Machine Gun Kelly recently came out with a new project called Genre:Sadboy. This new EP didn’t get the best reviews, however, fans of these two artists definitely appreciated it. Overall, the project was marred by a bit of a controversy that took place a week before the EP’s release. Of course, we are talking about the producer @kaixan2k who went out of their way to roast the fact that they were going to be placed on the project.

“The way I just learned I have a beat placement in this morning and I know it’s bout to be the worst song I’ve ever heard,” the producer explained. Subsequently, Trippie Redd had the song removed from the record. Eventually, the producer claimed to have already been paid, while also alleging that MGK is a “Pedo.” It was all very bizarre, and on Complex’s show Goat Talk, the two got to discuss what went down. As Trippie explained on the program, his response to the producer was his “GOAT Clapback.”

Trippie Redd & MGK Speak Out

Furthermore, Machine Gun Kelly weighed in all of this, saying “Unfortunately, this will be the biggest moment that you ever had in your life, you piece of shit.” Needless to say, neither Trippie nor MGK are huge fans of the producer and their actions leading up to the release of the project. At this point, the producer will have to work hard to get some industry connections in light of this situation. As for Trippie and MGK, they are doing their thing, regardless of who might be hating.

Let us know what you think of the beef between Trippie Redd, MGK, and the producer, in the comments section down below. Do you believe that the producer was in the right to stand their ground? Or was it a horrible move for them? Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news and updates from around the music world. We will continue to keep you informed on all of your favorite artists and their upcoming projects.
