Kendrick Lamar Accuses Drake Of Being ‘Not Like Us’ On His Latest Diss Track

The very public beef between Kendrick Lamar and Drake is far from over. Last night (May 3), Drake dropped “Family Matters,” a response to Lamar’s diss track “6:16 In LA,” which he released earlier in the day. Within less than an hour, Lamar responded to “Family Matters” with “Meet The Grahams,” on which, Lamar accused Drake of fathering and hiding a daughter from the world.

Drake has yet to respond to “Meet The Grahams,” however, Lamar has since shared another diss track — “Not Like Us.”

Produced by Mustard, “Not Like Us” is equally scathing lyrically, as much as it is a certified dance-ready West Coast banger. On the track, Lamar calls Drake out, implying inappropriate behavior with young girls.

“Why he trollin’ like a b*tch? Ain’t you tired? / Tryna strike a chord and it’s probably A-Minor,” raps Lamar.

He also calls out his use of AI technology to imitate Tupac’s voice, and warns him not to show his face within the West Coast.

“You think the bay gon’ let you disrespect ‘Pac? / I think that Oakland show bout to be your last stop.”

Closing out the track, Lamar calls the OVO founder an “OV-Hoe,” and encourages the listener to chant it back.

Drake Blames Metro Boomin For Future’s Involvement In Beef: “I Know He Had To Be An Influence”

Drake admitted that Future’s involvement in Kendrick Lamar’s ongoing feud against him made him sick to his stomach. Discussing the beef on his new diss track, “Family Matters,” the Toronto rapper theorized that Metro Boomin convinced Future to join in. During the second verse, he raps: “Pluto sh*t make me sick to my stomach, we ain’t never really been through it / Leland Wayne, he a f*ckin’ lame, so I know he had to be an influence / These n****s had a plan and they finally found a way to rope you into it / Two separate albums dissin’, I just did a Kim to it, n***a, skim through it.”

When the diss dropped, many fans on social media noted that Metro’s legal name is Leland Wayne. He appeared to respond to drama by retweeting Young Thug’s iconic tweet: “Boy slow down dropping all that BS music…” He also shared a picture of himself jumping in the studio.

Elsewhere on “Family Matters,” Drake accuses Kendrick Lamar of being an abuser to his partner and claims that his child might not actually be his. Shortly after the song’s release, Lamar fired back with “Meet the Grahams,” on which he alleges Drake has been hiding another child. He also relates him to Harvey Weinstein and goes as far as to remark he “should die.” Drake has yet to respond to Lamar’s quick retort but check out his latest diss below.

Kendrick Lamar Calls Drake A “Certified Pedophile” On DJ Mustard-Produced Diss Track “Not Like Us”

Before Drake could even respond to Friday night’s “Meet The Grahams,” Kendrick Lamar has already fired off another diss track aimed at the Toronto rapper. This time, he shared “Not Like Us” on social media, making reference to Baka Not Nice’s past legal trouble while also repeatedly accusing Drake of being a “pedophile.” “Say Drake, I hear you like ’em young / You better not ever go to cell block one,” he raps towards the start of the song.

When Lamar shared the track on Twitter, fans were loving the drama. “We’re witnessing one of the best rap beefs of all time,” one user replied. Another wrote: “This is real hatred, folks. For generations, all haters will be compared to this moment.”

Lamar first dissed Drake on Metro Boomin and Future’s “Like That,” earlier this year. In the time since, they’ve traded several songs aimed at one another. The drama reached a new level on Friday night after Drake dropped “Family Matters.” In the song, he accused Lamar of being abusive towards his fiance. He also dissed several other artists who have been beefing with him including The Weeknd, Rick Ross, and more. Within an hour, Lamar fired back with “Meet The Grahams.” On that track, he speaks directly to several members of Drake’s family while accusing him of hiding another child. “I’m sorry that your father not active inside your world / He don’t commit to much but his music, yeah, that’s for sure,” Lamar raps.

Does Drake Have A Daughter As Kendrick Lamar Claims On ‘Meet The Grahams?’

Drake’s tension with nearly half of hip-hop caused dozens of rumors to begin floating around online. It is hard to tell if Metro Boomin, the architect behind “Like That” (the track that kicked it all off), knew just how messy things would get. But he surely has provided the instrumentals for others to air out their grievances with Drake.

To quickly recap the mounting allegations made against Drake; Rick Ross accused him of undergoing several cosmetic procedures, including a rhinoplasty (more commonly referred as a nose job). The Weeknd alleged that his label, OVO Sounds, stifles the careers of its signees. Asap Rocky claimed to have been sexually involved with the mother of Drake’s son Adonis. With the exception of The Weeknd’s comments, so far Drake has addressed each remark in some way or another.

For starters, Drake seemingly denied getting a nose job. He also confirmed that Asap might have been involved with Adonis’ mother, but it doesn’t matter because in Drake’s eyes he had Rihanna (who so happens to be the mother of Asap Rocky’s two sons, RZA and Riot) first.

But on Kendrick Lamar’s latest lethal diss, “Meet The Grahams,” he pulled what fans are dubbing “a Pusha T.” Essentially, Kendrick challenged Drake’s parenting skills and manhood as he believes his foe is “hiding” another child – this time a daughter.

So, Does Drake Have A Daughter As Kendrick Lamar Claims On “Meet The Grahams?”

According to Drake’s post on May 3 via his Instagram Stories, the answer is no.

“Nah,” he wrote. “Hold on. Can someone find my hidden daughter please? And send her to me? These guys are in shambles.”

However, users online are having a hard time accepting Drake’s rebuttal as fact. Some have even taken him up on his research challenge. Based on Kendrick’s third verse, the child in question is supposedly no child at all but rather a preteen (approximately 12 years old).

With that nugget of information, users on X (formerly Twitter) dug up Drake’s post from January 15, 2012. For users, Drake’s “Baby girl” upload was all the proof they needed.

It doesn’t help that when Pusha T claimed Drake had a secret son (which turned out to be true), Drake behaved similarly. So, stick around long enough and things could change.

GloRilla Says Interviewer In Viral Accent Video Set Her Up

GloRilla says the viral video of her showing off her Memphis accent during a recent interview was misleading. In the clip, she appears to pronounce “food,” “music,” “confused,” and more words in a near-unintelligible way. Afterward, she claimed on Twitter that the interview had written down different words for her to read than appeared on screen. “Da word was feud & few, ionno why his ass put food,” she wrote on Twitter.

On Instagram Live, she further addressed the clip while speaking with fans. “Didn’t he put ‘food’ twice knowing it was ‘fued’ and ‘few’?” she asked a friend. “I’ll check the sh*t out of his fat neck ass. Don’t ever try to be motherf*ckin’ funny.” From there, she called out fans claiming she fakes her accent. “Who the f*ck I gotta fake an accent for?” she argued.

Who Is Leland Wayne From Drake’s ‘Family Matters’ Diss?

Drake has enemies. If you’ve been keeping track as Uproxx has he actually has a quite a lot of enemies. Over the last few weeks, the public has learned that the “First Person Shooter” rapper has had several dust-ups online and on record. But heavy is the head that carries the genre’s record-breaking, charting success.

Between The Weeknd and Nav to the estate of Tupac, Drake has taken several shots across the industry. Asap Rocky claimed to have intimately been with the mother of Drake’s son Adonis. Rick Ross accused his former friend of getting a nose job to combat his “racial insecurities.” Even, Ye (better known as Kanye West), questioned the true nature of Drake’s 2022 deal with Universal Music Group.

Slowly, but surely, Drake has begun to chip away at each record’s rumors. So, on Drake’s latest response track, “Family Matters,” he used a mixture of pet names and legal names to clapback at his opposition. Here you can learn who about Fring. But, that still leaves Leland Wayne to be revealed.

Continue below for answers.

So, Who Is Leland Wayne From Drake’s “Family Matters” Diss Song?

Sandwiched between lines, Drake fires off rounds at Kendrick Lamar, Ross, and The Weeknd. But there are some names listeners did not immediately recognize, including Leland Wayne. So, who is Wayne? Let’s just say it isn’t a family relative of Drake’s mentor and longtime friend, Lil Wayne.

The mystery man in question is none other than Metro Boomin. While the world may refer to him by his stage name, the producer’s family simply know Leland Tyler Wayne. For whatever artistic reason, Drake decided to go with Boomin’s legal name, according to KBIA (an outlet near Boomin’s hometown of St. Louis, Missouri). Could it be an intimidation tactic? Possibly. Or it might have been creative way to include his archenemy into his witty lines without the need for any metaphoric heavy lifting.

After reading the stanza below aimed at Metro Boomin, the latter seems to be the best bet.

Pluto sh*t make me sick to my stomach / We ain’t never really been through it Leland Wayne, he a f*ckin’ lame, so I know he had to be an influence / These n****s had a plan and they finally found a way to rope you into it / Two separate albums dissin’, I just did a Kim to it, n****, skim through it

Drake Fans Resurface Kendrick Lamar‘s Fiance’s Candid Instagram Post

A post from Kendrick Lamar‘s fiance, Whitney Alford, discussing her mental health and going to therapy is resurfacing on social media amid the rapper’s ongoing feud with Drake. On Friday, the Toronto rapper brought up Alford on his diss track, “Family Matters,” while accusing Lamar of abuse. Lamar immediately fired back with his own song, “Meet the Grahams,” on which he alleges Drake has been hiding another child.

As for Alford’s post from May 2022, she wrote: “I was stuck in a time and place that was no longer my reality and was no longer serving me. My babies forced me to take a long look at myself and journey back through the very things that made me. I’ve always carried the light with me. As a child no one was able to help me process. Many times silence was enforced because my emotions were a lot to handle. Hiding my pain has been a technique I’ve mastered my entire life. Mask it with a smile and everything is good. Silence has been my superpower, protecting me in the most vulnerable spaces.” From there, Alford revealed: “Then I was referred to a great therapist.”

She continued: “After a few years of hard work, I can finally say I hear my own voice again. And it’s very powerful. I use my smile when it feels genuine. And it’s beautiful. Allowing the world in and sharing my experience is one of my greatest fears. But truth is always very important for me. I’ve lived a sober life, feeling every single part of it, with the exception of mastering how to float when it’s all too much. But I yearn to be centered. To flow, to heal. To enjoy life.” When The Neighborhood Talk shared the post, plenty of Lamar’s fans came to his defense. One user commented: “This doesn’t seem like a cry for help from Kendrick sounds like unresolved childhood trauma that showed up in adulthood that she needed to address.” Another wrote: “Y’all not really music listeners cause if u were this not [tea emoji] if you listened Kendrick ‘Mr.Morale Big steppers’ album he talked about his relationship problems, family problems, how he had turn from being a boy into a man. Healing /growing.”

Brian McKnight’s Concert Gets Canceled After He Called His Biological Children “Evil”

Last month, Brian McKnight raised eyebrows with a few shocking comments about his biological children. While addressing backlash, he suggested that they’re “evil,” and only claimed his step-children. This, of course, prompted even more backlash. One of his biological sons, Niko, even took to social media to fire back, making some disturbing allegations against his father and insinuating that he’s actually the “evil” one.

Now, it appears as though McKnight continues to face the consequences of his remarks. He was scheduled to perform at the MotorCity Casino Hotel in Detroit at the beginning of June, but the event has since been canceled. This is due to social media users trolling even organizers online, making it clear that they weren’t interested in supporting him any longer.

Brian McKnight Critics Troll Event Organizers

“Wouldn’t even go for free,” one unhappy commenter wrote. Another said, “Tell him bring his kids and we might come.” Those who bought tickets were later notified that the event had been canceled. Social media users are now celebrating, with some dubbing it “karma.” His ex-wife Julie even chimed in with a simple popcorn emoji, indicating that she’s enjoying watching it all unfold. Shortly after McKnight’s comments on their kids, she responded with a clip, comparing him to a child throwing a tantrum.

“The point of every negative situation, whether it’s an illness whether it’s a fool that you have to deal with because they keep entering your life when you are no longer giving any more energy to it, is to only keep you down to where they thought they had you because they were the author of an extremely abusive situation emotionally, mentally,” she explained. “So when everybody pulls that away, it’s like a kid without candy who throws a tantrum…” McKnight has yet to address the cancellation. What do you think of Brian McKnight’s Detroit show getting canceled after social media users trolled its organizers? What about all of the backlash he’s receiving online for calling his biological children “evil”? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.
