One Of Wun, Gunna’s new album, is just hours away from release. Here’s when you can stream it on Apple Music.
With a due date of May 10, 2024, One Of Wun will hit DSPs at midnight tonight, Eastern time (or 9 PM Pacific).
The album, which features appearances from Leon Bridges, Normani, Offset, and Roddy Ricch, is Gunna’s fifth studio album, following 2023’s A Gift & A Curse. Gunna released two singles from the album ahead of its release: “Prada Dem” with Gunna and “Whatsapp (Wassam).”
The album shares a release date with Future’s upcoming mixtape, prompting some fans online to speculate that the two Atlanta rappers might have a feud brewing.
Gunna is currently on tour promoting his last album, although the setlist for the Bittersweet Tour does include a handful of tracks from One Of Wun.

Conway The Machine is always cooking up something for his fans. He has a new album called SFK dropping tonight and he’s spent all week building up hype for it. That hype hit its peak with a new video he shared to social media assisted by a pretty surprising guest. Unsurprisingly the upcoming album sports an absolutely packed feature list and continues a years prolific streak for the Griselda crew. Just a few months ago Benny The Butcher finally dropped his often-teased album Everybody Can’t Go.
The video Conway shared features numerous clips of him performing, working on new music, and hanging out behind the scenes. One notable moment sees him meeting pop hitmaker Dua Lipa. The singer just released her new album Radical Optimism, her first since 2020’s Future Nostalgia. Last year she had a smash hit with the song “Dance The Night” from the Barbie film soundtrack. It’s unclear how she ended up in the video or if her presence will hype up many Conway fans, but its an interesting crossover regardless. “I really did it this time!!! I f*cking did it!! . Conway has already released a few songs from the record. Earlier this month he dropped “Ten/Rya Interlude” which features Key Glock and Rya Maxwell. The trio assembled a full 6-minute song, long by rap standards and even longer by single standards. That was preceded by the Joey Badass-assisted “Vertino” which became an instant fan favorite. The track has since racked up more than 1.5 million streams on Spotify alone.

Drake’s Toronto home, nicknamed “The Embassy” became the subject of intense media coverage following its unveiling on Architectural Digest in 2020. The $100 million mansion is now in the news for something other than its grandeur. Drake now joins the long list of music stars whose homes have become the target of shootings. On Tuesday, the 7th of April, the Toronto police released reports of a shooting that occurred. As of this moment, there has been only one major casualty, which is a seriously injured security personnel who was outside the mansion at the time of the incident. There has since been growing speculation that perhaps this incident is connected to Drake and Kendrick’s ongoing beef, though authorities haven’t confirmed whether that’s the case. Here are all the facts we know so far about the attack on “The Embassy.”

At about 2 a.m. on Tuesday, May 8th, a shooting occurred outside Drake’s massive 50,000 square feet mansion in Toronto. The victim was a security guard employed at the property, who was standing outside the gates when the incident took place. According to police, the guard was shot and sustained serious injuries around his chest region in what has been speculated to be a drive-by shooting (police didn’t confirm whether that’s the case). However, authorities have stated that he is presently receiving care.
Investigation And Speculation
The Toronto Police are actively investigating the shooting incident at Drake’s home. However, they have not released any descriptions of potential suspects. Furthermore, information about the getaway vehicle involved has also not been disclosed at the moment. Police said that they did collect “some video evidence which captures the incident,” though that has yet to surface. Unfortunately, on Wednesday, May 8, the police were called back to the home, where an intruder was finally apprehended, according to Toronto’s City News.
As the investigation continues, authorities are working to determine the motive behind the attack, which remains unknown at this stage. The police have not confirmed whether Drake was present at his mansion during the shooting. However, pictures show that there were cars packed in the home. Lead inspector Paul Krawczyk has informed the public that the suspect(s) made their escape on wheels.
This incident has raised eyebrows due to the rapper’s recent high-profile feud with fellow rapper Kendrick Lamar. The two have been engaged in a heated exchange, trading diss tracks and leveling unsubstantiated allegations against each other. However, authorities have cautioned against drawing any premature conclusions about a potential connection between Drake’s rap beef and the shooting. That won’t stop the rumor from circulating like wildfire though. As celebrity culture and “stans” are often the cause of these stalker-like attacks, it’s not surprising that this is a theory that the public has entertained.

The shooting has undoubtedly caused concern among residents of the luxurious Bridle Path neighborhood. The local residents have also expressed shock and dismay over the incident. Beginning with the release of the album’s first single, “Prada Dem,” featuring Offset, and culminating with the reveal of the tracklist just yesterday, Gunna has turned up the hype for One Of Wun with every move. Now, the only thing left to do is drop the album, which he’ll do Friday, May 10 (tomorrow). So, when can you stream the new album on Spotify?

Incidentally, it looks like there might be one wrench in the works of Gunna’s master plan, though. Just days ago, Future announced the release of his own mixtape, after releasing two joint albums with Metro Boomin. Fortunately, this time, Gunna won’t have to go it alone; in addition to Offset, his album tracklist (which you can see below) will also include another frequent collaborator, Roddy Ricch.

When we last heard about Chief Keef’s fifth studio album, Almighty So 2, the “I Don’t Like” rapper was aiming for a spring 2023 release date. However, Keef clearly felt that the album still wasn’t quite ready — despite having been in the works for nearly five years at the time — and again delayed the release. This week, though, he not only gave fans a solid release date, but he also announced it with a dramatic trailer, which you can watch above. So, when can you finally give Almighty So 2 a stream on Apple Music (or the DSP of your choice)?
Well, Almighty So 2 is due on Friday, May 10 via Keef’s independent label 43B. That means it will most likely be available to stream at midnight Eastern (9 PM Pacific). One of the benefits of being independent means that Keef has more flexibility to set release dates — hence the long wait for the album’s release — but it also means that the veteran rapper has dotted all his “i”s and crossed all his “t”s if he’s finally determined the album is ready to put out.

ScHoolboy Q has been busy recently. Back in March, he dropped his new album Blue Lips. The project came after a long break for the “Collard Greens” rapper. His previous record CrasH Talk dropped all the way back in 2019. While CrasH Talk was subject to quite a bit of scrutiny from both fans and critics, Blue Lips was met with much more praise. Since then, Q has been reminding fans how entertaining he can be by stopping by numerous podcasts and radio shows to discuss a huge variety of topics.
Unsurprisingly he’s spoken quite a bit on something he seems pretty qualified to comment on, rap music. During a recent show appearance, he repeated a claim he’s made before, that there’s still plenty of good music out there. But he also explained why it’s getting harder and harder to find it. “for the most part, it’s cooked because it’s turned to content… rappers are just content creators now,” Q says in the interview. In the replies, fans surprisingly disagree with him. “I get what he’s saying but you could literally say this about any industry right now. ScHoolboy Q also plays a small role in the biggest rap story of the year, Drake and Kendrick Lamar’s beef. Recently it came out that he reportedly warned J. Cole to step out of the beef before Kendrick and Drake started firing on all cylinders. The claim also alleges that the warning came before Cole publicly apologized to Kendrick and took his own diss track down.

Gucci Mane’s 1017 Records hasn’t been very lucky when it comes to its artists’ experiences with the prison system, an unfortunate reality that is too heavy to be treated as a “coincidence or correlation” argument. It’s something that he’s always been upfront about wanting to support his team through, and something that he recently talked about with his wife. Moreover, Keyshia Ka’oir’s All Things podcast’s first episode invited Guwop, and despite their close bond, she didn’t hold back on some tough questions. While this definitely took him aback for a moment, it was interesting to see what his candid remarks were on something so serious.
“So the streets want to know why all your 1017 artists keep going to jail,” Keyshia Ka’oir asked Gucci Mane, who expressed surprise at the opening. “Oh, wow. So that’s how we gon’ start?” he asked his partner. “I was one of those type of artists, I was always going back and forth to jail. I try to help those artists that I feel I see a lot of myself in.” The “TakeDat” MC also posited that he’s always there to try and lend his artists in legal situations a helping hand “through their little bumps or whatever they’re going through. But I feel like if I’m not helping them, who else gon’ help them? Nobody says that part of the story.”

Furthermore, that part of the story is crucial when you consider the careers of Pooh Shiesty, Foogiano, Hoodrich Pablo Juan, Ralo, and more 1017 affiliates caught up in the prison system. Some of them already made it out, others remain behind bars, but Gucci Mane has publicly stood by all of them throughout their struggles. It’s not easy for a label boss to manage all these different careers, and even harder to see them develop in the way they have. But it’s a process he always seems willing to go through.
Meanwhile, speaking of Keyshia Ka’oir, she recently addressed pregnancy rumors that seek to take their relationship to the next level. We can only wonder what other revelations might come forward as a result of this All Things podcast, for which we’ll have to wait and see. As for 1017 Records, we wish all these artists the best in achieving accountability, dealing with their situations, and making it out. We’re sure that once they are free, Gucci Mane will be there with open arms to welcome them back to the game.

We are now in Year 20 of the Kendrick Lamar and Drake beef (that’s how it feels, at least). At this point, multiple diss tracks have been swapped back and forth over the past few weeks, and most observers have chosen their sides. That appears to include Jack Dorsey, best known for co-founding Twitter (now X).
Then, on May 4, he shared Lamar’s tweet about his “Meet The Grahams” diss and added, “truth vs lies.” On May 6, Dorsey tweeted, “like that not like us,” an apparent reference to Lamar’s “Not Like Us.” Finally, on May 8, Dorsey posted a link to Lamar’s “Rich Spirit” and wrote, “turn him to a song.”
He also recently retweeted a tweet of an old video of Lamar performing in a Best Buy store. That tweet was shared in response to a user who wrote, “Kendrick’s old tweets are like ‘Hey guys im finna perform at best buy :D’ LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOOO,” which itself was in response to a tweet saying, “You know Aubrey angels went looking for some tweets on Kendrick account too only to find he is indeed the most boring n**** of all time.”
DJ Akademiks has been one of the main sources of inside information throughout the Drake and Kendrick Lamar feud. Overall, this makes a whole lot of sense when you consider how Drake is friendly with Ak. In fact, Drizzy was the one who informed Akademiks that “Family Matters” would be dropping on Friday night. At this stage, fans are curious as to whether or not the Canadian megastar is going to release again. Akademiks has been teasing a new song, and Drake has been pretty ambiguous on his Instagram page. That said, no one knows for sure what is going down.
Well, taking to Twitter today, Akademiks had a message for the fans. It was a cryptic one at that as he simply said “Appreciate the silence. What comes after it is usually great.” Ultimately, fans have no real idea what this means. It could have a whole plethora of meanings for all we know. That said, it does appear as though Drake has something up his sleeve. “The Heart Part 6” was not it for a lot of people, and they would have loved for him to have finished the feud with something a lot stronger.
Having said all of that, on the song “Not Like Us,” Kendrick Lamar makes it apparent that he has 10 diss tracks ready to go. If that is truly the case, Drake may want to hold off on going further with the feud. After all, “Meet The Grahams” and “Not Like Us” were absolutely scathing, and both artists may damage their reputations further if this continues to go down a dark path.
