Kendrick Lamar is currently performing at “The Pop Out” which is a concert that is looking to be a uniting force for the West Coast. To open his set, Kendrick performed his first diss track against Drake, “Euphoria.” It was a truly incredible moment that fans will remember for the rest of their lives. In fact, Kendrick rapped every single bar, which just goes to show what an amazing performer he is. As you can imagine, the visuals of the performance are pretty spectacular.
Below, you can find a small snippet of the performance, which had the entire KIA Forum shaking. It was not the first time tonight that this was the case. Of course, Tyler, The Creator had popped out earlier in the evening. We also got some truly spectacular performances from the likes of Roddy Ricch, YG, and many others. Mustard even put on a tribute to Nipsey Hussle, which made the concert feel that much more special.

This show is a once-in-a-lifetime type of event, and it must be pretty special to be there right now. Missy Elliott is in the midst of a career renaissance. The iconic rapper was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2023, and will embark on her first headlining tour in July. The former validated her talents as a musician, and the latter her star power. Unfortunately, health concerns have plagued the rapper over the last 15 years. Missy Elliott was diagnosed with Graves’ Disease in 2008, which led to severe weight loss and dizzy spells. She’s not going to let her diagnosis slow her down, however.
The rapper told People Magazine that she plans to carry out her tour dates without the assistance of medication. She told the outlet that the first three years after her diagnosis were extremely difficult, but she’s learned to overcome it without having to rely on external treatment. “Every day I wake, I’m blessed to be here and in good health,” she conceded. “I’m feeling so much better now. That was a run. Every now and then you get a little ache in the leg or the knee, but outside of that, I feel good.” Missy Elliott divulged the secrets for her medication-less treatment, and they were simpler than one might think.

According to the rapper, a healthy lifestyle changed everything. “Under my doctor s supervision, I’ve been off medication,” she noted. “I’m completely managing the condition thru diet and exercise.” It’s comforting to know that Missy Elliott will be able to fulfill her tour, given how excited she was to do it back in April. “Fans have been asking me to tour forever,” she wrote in a press release. “But I wanted to wait until I felt the time was right. “Because I knew if I was ever going to do it, I had to do it big. And I had to do it with family.” The “family” in question consists of longtime Missy collaborators Ciara, Busta Rhymes, and Timbaland.
Missy Elliott is not letting Graves’ Disease slow her performing. She’s also continuing to make music at an impressive rate. She hasn’t put out an album since The Cookbook in 2005, but she told Variety that she’s sitting on six albums worth of material. “I probably have at least six albums worth of music at this point,” the rapper revealed. “I believe that it’ll be a day that everybody’s going on about their way and then you just look online and see an album date from me. So yeah, I think that’ll happen sooner than later.” It doesn’t sound like the Missy renaissance is ending anytime soon.
Here Are The Set Times For Kendrick Lamar’s The Pop Out — Ken & Friends Concert
On Tuesday, June 18, DJ Hed posted the lineup on X (formerly Twitter): DJ Hed & Friends (4 p.m. PT), Mustard & Friends (4:45 p.m. PT), and Ken & Friends (5:45 p.m. PT).
It remains to be seen who all of the friends will be joining DJ Hed, Mustard, and Lamar during their respective sets, but rap’s biggest names are presumably all possibilities — except for Drake, of course.
As of this writing, DJ Hed’s set is underway. TDE’s Ray Vaughn popped out to perform “Problems.” DJ Hed quipped, “They say the West Coast can’t rap? That’s crazy.” Then, he proceeded to welcome Cuzzos for a short stint on stage before Rucci and AzChike ran out to perform their collaborative track “Light It Up.” The revolving door of guest performers continued with Jay Worthy & Meet The Whoops, Wallie The Sensei, Westside Boogie, Zoe Osama, Kalan.FrFr & G Perico, Bino Rideaux, BlueBucksClan, RJMrLA, OhGeesy, Jason Martin, and Tommy The Clown.

Tyler The Creator is one of the biggest artists in hip-hop right now. Although he is from California, he doesn’t always run with other West Coast artists. That is why it came as a massive shock to fans on Wednesday night that he was one of the guests at the KIA Forum. Overall, Kendrick Lamar is hosting his “Pop Out” show, and during DJ Mustard’s set, Tyler had the crowd ready to start an earthquake. The entire arena rumbled when he came out, and you could tell it was from pure adulation and surprise.
As you can see in the video down below, Tyler came out by performing “WusYaName” off of his album Call Me If You Get Lost. Furthermore, he performed “Earfquake” from the album IGOR. It was an incredible moment and one that fans are going to surely remember for the rest of their lives. As it stands, Roddy Ricch is on the stage, and he is running through some of his biggest hits. Needless to say, this is one of the greatest concerts you will ever see.
The first set hosted by DJ Hed was a massive celebration of smaller West Coast artists. From Rucci to Remble to Ohgheesy to Jay Worthy, there were some incredible talents on stage. It goes without saying that it’s been a busy year for J Cole. After catching strays on Kendrick Lamar’s verse on Future and Metro Boomin’s “Like That,” he unleashed his fourth mixtape in April, Might Delete Later. The project arrived complete with a scathing response, “7 Minute Drill.” Shortly after unveiling it, however, J Cole backtracked and removed the song from all streaming services. He also issued a formal apology to Kendrick onstage at his Dreamville fest. This was a controversial move until the Compton MC went nuclear on Drake amid their lyrical battle.
Shortly after that debacle blew over, he joined forces with Cash Cobain for “Grippy.” His feature was far from well-received, however, and he was immediately ripped to shreds for what listeners called “cringe” bars. He managed to redeem himself with his fan-favorite appearance on “Free Fall” from Tems’ new album, and now, he’s gearing up to unveil yet another high-profile collab.
Earlier this week, the North Carolina-born performer was spotted filming what appears to be a new music video alongside Tee Grizzley. In a clip from the exciting moment, the two artists are seen spitting in the streets of NYC. The video is expected to accompany a new track they have on the way, which does not yet have an official name. It doesn’t have a release date either. The fact that they’re already working on a video, however, indicates that it should arrive sooner rather than later.

However, this ultimately led to diss tracks like “Push Ups” and “Champagne Moments.” Since the feud, Ross has continuously taken shots at Drake in the media. It has made for some hilarious moments, and there is no doubt that Ross has no plans to slow down.

As you can imagine, many are hoping for K-Dot to perform “Not Like Us.” Some fans have even taken it upon themselves to make custom merch around the song. Below, you can see four fans who have “They Not Like Us” across the front of their shirts, and “Dot Fuck Em Up” across the back. Although one has to appreciate the effort, some couldn’t help but see the irony in these shirts. This is because the kids wearing the shirts are white, and the phrase “not like us” is explicitly referring to them.
To be fair, the hook in “Not Like Us” has a couple of meanings. On the surface, it is simply a reference to Kendrick’s previous bars about Drake being an alleged predator. It is a way for Kendrick to separate himself and his friends from the alleged actions of Drake and his crew. However, the other meaning has to do with the various attacks Kendrick made against Drake pertaining to his cultural awareness. The song calls Drake a colonizer in the rap game. Not to mention, throughout the entire beef, Kendrick took shots at Drake for his background, and how he isn’t from the culture like Kendrick himself is. It’s way of looping Drake in with the white hip-hop fans who have a tendency to lose sight of how hip-hop got to where it is today. As many on social media noted, these white fans misinterpreting Kendrick’s lyrics is a perfect illustration of why a song like “Not Like Us” was needed in the first place.

Since Cassie filed her bombshell lawsuit against Diddy in November of last year, the Bad Boy Records founder has been hit with countless shocking allegations. In her suit, Cassie accused him of sexual assault, abuse, and much more. She even alleged that the mogul would make her engage in sexual acts with male escorts in what were dubbed “freak-offs.” Allegedly, he would film the drug-fueled encounters, and eventually had Cassie find and hire the escorts herself.
During a recent interview with VladTV, Diddy’s former bodyguard Roger Bonds shared his take on these claims. He alleges that while he wasn’t involved in these events “on any level,” he did know of a camera bag that Diddy’s assistants were ordered to keep on them at all times. According to Bonds, this held the camera used to film the alleged freak-offs.

Bonds also recalls one instance when he had the day off and felt as though Diddy was rushing him to leave the hotel he was staying at. He claims this made him feel even more suspicious than he would have been otherwise. This was only compounded when he took the elevator down and spotted who appeared to be a male escort heading up. “I stayed on the elevator and the elevator stopped on Puff’s floor,” he alleged. “He just walked straight to Puff’s door.”
He then remembered the man allegedly knocking on the door of Diddy’s room and being let in. Bonds says this wasn’t of concern to him immediately, as he had just assumed that he and Cassie were “freaks.” Bonds said he would see other men allegedly spend time with Diddy and Cassie on various occasions. Sexyy Red is ready to battle. She went as far as to say that she’d drag the “ol’ bones” of fellow rapper Khia during a 2023 disagreement. That being said, Red isn’t trying to start drama for the sake of drama. The rapper noticed that fans had been hyping up a comment that Latto’s sister made about Latto trying to copy Sexyy Red’s style. The internet waited with baited breath to see if Red would take the bait, and pop off on Latto. The rapper did the opposite. She went out of her way to clarify that she had no issue with Latto despite the allegations.
Sexyy Red hopped on Instagram the clear the air. She commented under the video of Latto’s sister and assured all of her fans that she was cool with Latto. “I didn’t say nun about this girl period,” Red wrote. “I don’t have ah problem with @latto.” Bizarrely, this isn’t the first time Sexyy Red has had to deny rumors that she was beefing with Latto. The same exact situation happened in November 2023. Red liked a post about girls trying to make TRU Religion a trendy brand again, and Latto posted a photo of herself in TRU Religion shortly after. Fans tried to connect the dots, but Sexyy Red once again intervened on X (formerly Twitter). “Definitely not shading her,” she tweeted. “I’m direct wit it whatever I gotta say.”

They both appeared on the Yung Nudy song “Peaches & Eggplants” in 2023, and hopped on the Cardi B single “Motion.” There hasn’t been any documented instances of tension between Red and Latto. The timing of Latto’s sister’s accusation was a bit odd, though. Shortly after Latto’s sister put Latto on blast for biting, Sexyy Red posted a message to her Instagram Story. The photo appeared to be taken in the backseat of the car, but it was the text over it that grabbed the most attention. “I’m you h*es blueprint,” she wrote. “I’m gettin’ sick of it.” The timing is uncanny, if the two posts were in fact unrelated.
