Whitney Alford Emphatically Raps To Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” In Background Of Denzel Curry’s IG Story

Kendrick Lamar’s fiancée, Whitney Alford, can be seen rapping along to the hit diss track, “Not Like Us,” in the background of a video that Denzel Curry posted from the rapper’s concert in Los Angeles from earlier this week. When Curry posted the clip to confirm he was in attendance at the star-studded event, eagle-eyed fans noticed an impassioned Alfrod rapping the song in the background. Drake has brought her and Lamar’s relationship up several times during their ongoing feud. He’s accused Lamar of abusing his partner and claimed he hasn’t seen their children in years.

“Unfortunately no matter how many of these vids come out, drake fans will continue to act like Whitney was abused with no evidence,” one fan wrote in response to the clip on X (formerly Twitter). “I guarantee if Whitney literally comes on video saying ‘Drake is a liar my man never hit me’ his fans will just say she’s lying cause she’s scared.” Another user wrote: “Drake fans will say Kendrick forced her to sing along and know every word. In all seriousness, this is wholesome asf and great to see.”

He performed several diss tracks from the beef before ending by doing “Not Like Us” several times over and over again. “Y’all ain’t gonna let anyone disrespect the West Coast, huh? Oh, y’all ain’t gonna let nobody mock and imitate our legends, huh?” he asked at one point.

Fans Debate Drake’s “Back To Back” Performance Following Kendrick Lamar’s “The Pop Out” Concert

Drake’s iconic performance at OVO Fest in 2015, when he performed his Meek Mill diss track, “Back to Back,” is being reconsidered by fans on social media after his latest rival, Kendrick Lamar, hosted The Pop Out – Ken & Friends in Los Angeles on Wednesday night. When Complex shared a clip of the set on X (formerly Twitter), Friday night, fans were harsher on the show after Lamar’s impressive concert.

“To think about it, this was the response to divert from the ghost writer allegations…. He just distracted yall,” one user wrote. Another added: “If Kendrick put up pics of Drake behind him at Ken & Friends y’all would call him obsessed.” One more fan wrote: “We really let this Canadian dude disrespect a sreet n***a from Philadelphia. Kendrick Lamar Was Spotted Filming The ‘Not Like Us’ Video, Which Means His ‘Drake Victory Lap’ Isn’t Over

The person who coined the phrase, “all you need is love,” didn’t meet Kendrick Lamar. Although the “Euphoria” rapper receives more than enough praises from fans and peers alike, users online have joked that he’s currently running off of his pure hatred of Drake.

Today (June 22), Kendrick was spotted in his hometown Compton, California, reportedly filming a music video for “Not Like Us.”

The chart-topping Drake diss track has been unofficially declared the “song of the summer,” and Kendrick’s The Pop Out: Ken & Friends Juneteenth concert presented by Amazon Music, demonstrated why.

Despite being filmed in the public, details surrounding the video shoot have remained under wraps. However, if it is anything like his June 19 show, you should expect to see tons of guest cameos from across industries, including the song’s producer Mustard, Kendrick’s former Black Hippy collaborators (Ab-Soul, Jay Rock, and Schoolboy Q), basketball stars LeBron James, Russell Westbrook, and DeMar DeRozan, plus so many others.

Of course, none of this has been confirmed, but that hasn’t stopped folks from wishing for it. Users online have also speculated that YG is set to appear in the visual after he posted clips with controversial podcaster Bobbi Althoff in the city.

As of today, the video’s release date hasn’t been shared with the public. But given the speedy turn around of the song, it won’t be vaulted much longer.

Ice-T Compares Kendrick Lamar’s “Gang Truce” Concert To A “Cure For Cancer”

Ice-T couldn’t emphasize the importance of Kendrick Lamar’s The Pop Out – Ken & Friends concert in Los Angeles enough while reflecting on the show on X (formerly Twitter) on Saturday. He remarked that Lamar uniting various gangs in his hometown of L.A. for the event was comparable to finding the “cure for cancer.” “A Potential Gang Truce in LA is like a Cure for Cancer for us,” Ice-T wrote while sharing a picture from the show. “Extreme Respect to @kendricklamar.”

Fans joined in the celebration in the replies to the post. “Your song Gotta Lotta Love, tried uniting the colours and gangs, should’ve worked too,” one fan remarked. Another suggested: “Hell yes extremely awesome I love compromise and coexistence that’s beautiful.”

During the show, Lamar brought out tons of West Coast stars including Dr. Dre, Tyler, the Creator, Ab-Soul, and more. At one point, he reflected on the significance of the evening for his hometown. “This sh*t making me emotional,” Lamar said on stage. “We been f*cked up since Nipsey died. We been f*cked up since Kobe died. This is unity at its finest. We done lost a lot of homies to this music sh*t, to this street sh*t. For all of us to be together on stage, that sh*t is special. Everybody on this stage got fallen soldiers.” He finished the night by performing his Drake diss track, “Not Like Us,” several times over. “Y’all ain’t gonna let anyone disrespect the West Coast, huh? Oh, y’all ain’t gonna let nobody mock and imitate our legends, huh?” he asked.

Chris Brown Looks Frustrated After Facing Another Set Malfunction On His “11:11” Tour

Chris Brown is currently making his way across North America on his “11:11” tour, and so far, fans are impressed. The hitmaker has left audiences in awe with explosive performances, wild dance moves, and elaborate stunts. Unfortunately, however, he recently ran into some technical difficulties onstage. Earlier this month, he was left stranded in mid-air after some wires got stuck, prompting him to chastise his crew. He was uninjured, though he certainly seemed fed up.

Now, it appears as though he ran into yet another mishap onstage at a recent performance. In a clip making its rounds online, he’s seen closing a song and expecting to be lowered into the stage. Things didn’t play out as he expected, and he got stuck. As a result, he was forced to walk off like normal. He didn’t look happy about it either, though it’s unclear whether or not his team heard about it this time.

Chris Brown Forced To Walk Off Stage After Mishap

Luckily, fans can agree that the small mishap didn’t outshine the rest of the show. He has many more opportunities to make things up too, as his tour is scheduled to run until late summer. Brown is expected to close his “11:11” tour, which also features Ayra Starr and Muni Long, with a performance in LA on August 7.

Aside from his impressive performances, Brown is also offering fans intimate meet-and-greets, allowing them to chat with him and take fun photos. Reportedly, he’s charging up to $1K per person for them, which is certainly no small chunk of change. According to one fan, however, the photo she got with Brown was so up close and personal that it cost her her boyfriend. What do you think of Chris Brown seemingly suffering yet another set malfunction on his “11:11” tour? Funkmaster Flex Wants To Know The Purpose Of Kendrick Lamar & Drake’s Feud

Funkmaster Flex wants to know what the point was of Kendrick Lamar and Drake’s beef and has taken to X (formerly Twitter) with some ideas. Speaking on the feud after Lamar hosted a massive concert in his hometown of Los Angeles, Flex theorized the beef could’ve been for marketing or pure competition. “I HAVE DRAKE / KENDRICK QUESTION?,” he wrote. “WAS IT A LYRICAL COMPETITION? OR A MARKETING / CAREER RELAUNCH? I NEED TO UNDERSTAND WHAT ARE THE RULES IN A LYRICAL BATTLE?”

Many of Lamar’s fans came to his defense in the replies to the post. One user wrote: “Drake lost regardless of what you call it lmaooo.. but what makes you say Career relaunch? Did he retire & i missed it?” Another added: “Bro acting like Kendrick career was dead or dying…it would make sense if this was Rick Ross.” Ross, as well as Metro Boomin, The Weeknd, and more artists, have also been feuding with Drake.

Kendrick Lamar, DJ Mustard & More Film “Not Like Us” Music Video In Compton: Watch

It’s certainly no secret that Kendrick Lamar’s Drake diss track, “Not Like Us,” is one of the biggest tracks of the year so far. This is especially true after he performed it five times alongside several of his celebrity peers at his “Pop Out” show in LA earlier this week. Dr. Dre, YG, Ty Dolla Sign, and many others made appearances throughout the evening in what ultimately turned out to be a massive celebration of West Coast hip hop.

Shortly after the highly anticipated event, it was reported that Kendrick was gearing up to film a new music video in Compton. Apparently, he recruited the L.A. County Sheriff’s Dept. to send over some Sheriff’s Deputies for added security. When that news first surfaced, it was unclear what exactly the music video was. Now, however, it appears to be confirmed that it’s a video for “Not Like Us.”

Kendrick Lamar’s Music Video Shoot

In several clips making their rounds online today, Kendrick can be seen dancing to the hit, surrounded by a huge crowd in his hometown. DJ Mustard, who produced the track, was also in attendance dancing along with the group. Mustard even posed for photos with a few lucky fans, appearing to be in good spirits. It seems as though he wasn’t the only special guest Kendrick invited to join him at the shoot, however.

Earlier today, a clip of Bobbi Althoff linking up with YG also surfaced online. This led to rumors that she’d also be making an appearance in the eagerly awaited video. At the time of writing, it remains unclear exactly when fans can plan to see it. They hope, however, that it’ll be sooner rather than later. What do you think of Kendrick Lamar getting spotted filming a music video for “Not Like Us” in Compton? What about DJ Mustard popping out? Sexyy Red Recreated The Infamous Clinton–Lewinsky Scandal For Her Latest Video Teaser

Given the upcoming presidential election, politics are on the top of most Americans minds and the includes Sexyy Red. The “U My Everything” rapper has gone on the record to share her support for former President Donald Trump (then seemingly walked it back).

But it appears for her forthcoming music video, Sexyy Red pulled inspiration from another politician. Yesterday (June 21), she took her official X (formerly Twitter) page to post a Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinsky-inspired teaser for the next In Sexyy We Trust visual.

In the clip, Sexyy Red put her own spin on the infamous sexual contact scandal that rocked the 1990s. “I’m doin dis for our ancestors 😂,” she wrote.

Despite the mock Oval Office setup, the faux presidential seals plastered everywhere, and a framed photograph of Clinton on a nearby table, some users online weren’t able to catch the references.

“Who da hell is this,” wrote one user.

Others slammed Sexyy Red for claiming her actions in honor of Black suffrage. “You’re moving us backwards, Ms. Redd,” penned one user.

Monica Lewinsky hasn’t issued a response yet. However, this isn’t her first time being referenced by a musician—most notably on Beyoncé’s song “Partition.” Lewinsky responded then, and she likely will respond now.
