Isaiah Rashad Drops A Deluxe Edition Of ‘The House Is Burning’ With Juicy J, Young Nudy, And More After ‘Homies Begged’

The world waited nearly five years for Isaiah Rashad to make his return to the music world and finally, at the beginning of August, he did just that. The TDE rapper touched down with his second album The House Is Burning, and it was met with rave reviews from fans. Guest appearances from Lil Uzi Vert, Jay Rock, SZA, 6lack, Smino, and more also stood out on Rashad’s latest body of work. Nearly four months after he released it, Rashad returns with its deluxe version simply because the “homies begged.”

The new version adds four songs to the project’s original 16 tracks. It finds Rashad sticking to his Tennessee roots by sharing a remix of “RIP Young” with Juicy J and Project and heading to Atlanta for “Deep Blue” with Young Nudy and “Geordan Favors” with Deante’ Hitchcock. Lastly, the TDE rapper recruits West coast singer Umi for the deluxe edition’s closer, “Donuts.”

Prior to sharing the deluxe version of The House Is Burning, Rashad released videos for “THIB,” “Chad” with YGTUT,” and “From The Garden” with Lil Uzi. He also stopped by A COLORS Show to deliver a vivid performance of “HB2U.”

French Montana, Doja Cat, And Saweetie Are All For Some Freaky Fun On ‘Handstand’

It’s been nearly two years since French Montana delivered an album to the world with his last being 2019’s Montana. Luckily for fans of the rapper, that streak is officially over as Montana returns with his fourth album, They Got Amnesia. The project seems to be a response to those who forgot the hits he contributed to hip-hop over the past decade, which include “Pop That,” “Unforgettable,” “Marble Floors,” and more. A bright moment on They Got Amnesia comes when Montana recruits Doja Cat and Saweetie for “Handstand.”

The track is a bouncy effort that finds the trio indulging in some freaky fun. Montana, Doja, and Saweetie each flaunt their sexual prowess as they request and receive attention from those around them. As for the rest of They Got Amnesia, French Montana delivers 21 songs for the album that also sees appearances from John Legend, Rick Ross, Kodak Black, Pop Smoke, Lil Durk, Fivio Foreign, Fabolous, 42 Dugg, Coi Leray, Ty Dolla Sign, Latto, Lil Tjay, and Moneybagg Yo.

As for Doja and Saweetie, the former recently passed Drake for the most monthly listeners on Spotify while Saweetie dropped her Icy Season special on Amazon.

Cardi B Squares Up With All Challenges On ‘Bet It’ From The All-Female ‘Bruised’ Soundtrack

In one week, Halle Berry brings her brawler flick, Bruised, to Netflix but first, she and Warner Records have unleashed the film’s groundbreaking soundtrack, which is the first of its kind to feature a tracklist comprised entirely of female rappers. After hyping the soundtrack with its first two singles, City Girls’ “Scared” and Baby Tate’s “Dungarees,” the full project lands today with the force of a heavyweight haymaker thanks to punishing cuts like Cardi B‘s defiant contribution, “Bet It.”

Backed by a classic Canción melódica sample from Spanish singer Camilo Cortés, Cardi showcases a polished flow that suggests that she’s been hitting the gym as hard as Halle’s main character Jackie Justice in the film itself. Cardi also subtly nods to the film’s status as Halle’s directorial debut, snarking, “My life is a movie, only Cardi could direct it.” It’s a braggadocious and confident cut that also finds the new Bronx Bomber flaunting the spoils of her years of hard work: “More movie sets mean more movie checks / ‘Cause I live in a mansion, I don’t live in regrets.”

In addition to the above-mentioned artists, the newly-released Bruised soundtrack also includes original cuts from Ambre, Big Bottle Wyanna, DreamDoll, Erica Banks, HER, Flo Milli, Latto, Rapsody, Saweetie, and Young MA. You can listen to the full soundtrack here. Check out Cardi’s contribution above.

Freddie Gibbs And Jadakiss Are A Menacing Duo With High-Class Raps On ‘Black Illuminati’

It’s been a year and a half since Freddie Gibbs delivered a project to the world with Alfredo alongside producer The Alchemist. While that isn’t a lot of time to wait for a new body of work from an artist, Gibbs is more than ready to unload a collection of raps on his fans. In the past year, Gibbs dropped “Big Boss Rabbit” and “Gang Signs” with Schoolboy Q, in addition to teaming up with the likes Nas, Bobby Sessions, Kenny Mason, and more. Now, Gibbs has aligned himself with Jadakiss, who’s also having quite the year, for their new single “Black Illuminati.”

The video for their new collab portrays them as an impenetrable duo as Freddie and Jada calmly flex their lyrical muscle with menacing raps. The track is presumably the latest single from Gibbs’ upcoming album SSS. While a release date or guest features for it has yet to be revealed, he has shared its roster of producers, and boy is it a good one. Pharrell, Madlib, Working On Dying, The Alchemist, Sevn Thomas, Hit-Boy, Boi-1da, Jake One, DJ Paul, Justice League, Tay Keith, Kaytranada, Bizness Boi, Kenny Beats, and Mike Will Made-It are all set to supply records for SSS according to Gibbs.

As for Jadakiss: He recently joined Benny The Butcher and Busta Rhymes for Snoop Dogg’s “Murder Music.” Jada also received the key to his hometown of Yonkers along with the other members in The LOX — Sheek Louch and Styles P.

Morray And Benny The Butcher Vow To ‘Never Fail’ While Reaching For The Top

North Carolina rapper Morray went from a practically unknown name to one of rap’s most promising new acts in a matter of just one year. He first rose to fame through the success of his breakout single, “Quicksand.” He later released his debut project, Street Sermons, which helped him secure a position in the 2021 XXL Freshman class. Morray’s success continued as he appeared on J. Cole’s album The Off-Season and joined the rapper on his nationwide tour supporting the album. Now, Morray’s back with new music as Benny The Butcher accompanies him on his latest single, “Never Fail.”

Together, Morray and Benny address their haters and speak about overcoming the pressures of becoming successful. The new track arrives with a video that follows the duo as they tour New York City. The duo eventually lurks around the tall skyscrapers of the city while sharing their determination to reach the top and not allow anyone to stop them. Prior to “Never Fail,” Morray teamed up with Tyla Yaweh for “Hands Up,” a track that the pair used to fight for the freedom of a loved one. Morray also celebrated his recent success on the triumphant “Bad Situations” earlier this year.

As for Benny The Butcher, he recently signed a deal to Def Jam after appearing on Reason’s No More No Less: Demo 1 EP with Wale, Isaiah Rashad, Ade, and Zacari.

Bryson Tiller, Justin Bieber, And Poo Bear Deal With Holiday Heartbreak On ‘Lonely Christmas’

Earlier this year, Bryson Tiller shared a deluxe reissue for his third album Anniversary. The re-release extended the project’s original ten songs to 15 while recruiting Big Sean to join Drake as the small cast of guest acts on the project. While some might’ve believed that was all Tiller had to offer in 2021, the Lousiville singer is back with another body of work to bring in the holiday season: A Different Christmas, which is highlighted by “Lonely Christmas” with Justin Bieber and Poo Bear.

The song leans towards the acoustic side of things as the trio sings through heartbreak and the realization that the holiday season won’t be spent with the people they held closest to their hearts. As for the rest of A Different Christmas, the project also sports appearances from Kiana Lede, Tayla Parx, and Halo.

Prior to its release, Tiller spoke about A Different Christmas and shared what inspired him to create it. “Before we get into my next album, I wanted to share another special project I worked on for you guys,” he wrote. “This one was really fun to make. Inspired by Bieber, Ariana, and by one of my loneliest holiday seasons ever.”

Saba Pushes Past His Insecurities In The Commanding Video For ‘Stop That’

Saba is just a few months away from giving us his first album in almost four years, and its upcoming arrival couldn’t come any faster. The Chicago rapper revealed the upcoming body of work is titled Few Good Things after releasing its presumed lead single, “Fearmonger,” earlier this month. Saba continues the campaign for Few Good Things with its second single, “Stop That.” The new track is a hard-hitting effort that finds the rapper tackling his insecurities and motivating himself to never succumb to them.

In a press release that arrived with the song, Saba spoke about the meaning of the track to him. “I feel like more often than not, we let our own judgement of ourselves knock our confidence off before anyone else even offers any feedback,” he said. “Our own insecurities ring really loudly in our heads, to the point where we make ourselves smaller before giving anyone else the chance to.” He added, “This is something that I feel like I found myself beginning to do over the years. Hiding from the uncomfortable moment. And this song works as my noticing and correcting that.”

In addition to sharing the new song, Saba also revealed that Few Good Things will arrive on February 4, 2022, leaving fans with less than three months to prepare for the project’s release.

A Man Was Shot Near Young Dolph’s Memorial, Leading To The Arrest Of Three People

The music world is still reeling from the unexpected death of Memphis rapper Young Dolph. He was shot and killed at Makeda’s Cookies, a bakery that Dolph often shopped at. As the community continues to mourn his death, another shooting occurred near Makeda’s on Thursday. According to FOX 13, a man was shot at the Family Dollar next door to the bakery. The Memphis Police Department confirmed that two people were arrested at the scene in connection to the incident and a third was detained at a nearby intersection. According to Revolt, the victim is currently in non-critical condition.

The incident occurred after Memphis police revealed that Young Dolph’s alleged killers were caught on camera moments before the shooting. In the footage, one man appears to be holding an AK-47 Draco machine pistol while another man fires with a handgun. Both individuals wore masks and were dressed in hoodies and sweatpants. Witnesses at the scene said the two men fled the scene in a “lighter-colored Mercedes.”

It was also revealed that Dolph was set to host a Thanksgiving turkey giveaway in Memphis on the same day he was tragically shot and killed. “This is the holidays. There’s more to it than just giving away turkeys,” Dolph said during a turkey giveaway he held in 2018. “I’m here to flood the area and the city with positive vibes. Ain’t nothing like family. When you come to Memphis, you get the family vibe. All of my partners, friends, they’re from my neighborhood. Everyone here is for the support, and it’s really just about capturing the positive vibe around the holidays.”

Some of the acts include Bow Wow, Omarion, Ashanti, Pretty Ricky, the Ying Yang Twins, Soulja Boy, and more. With just a week and three shows remaining, Soulja Boy will have to sit out two performances after the promotion company behind the tour decided to remove him from them as a precaution following Young Dolph’s death. The announcement was made through a post the company shared on Instagram.
