Xzibit Teases Potential “Pimp My Ride” Reboot

Xzibit has teased a reboot of the classic MTV show Pimp My Ride. Fans on social media are all excited about the series’ potential return. Pimp My Ride aired from 2004 to 2007 with Xzibit as its host. Xzibit would take people busted down cars and pimp them out at West Coast Customs garage. They would go wild on these cars, putting anything from fishtanks to video gems to fully functioning BBQ grills in this vehicle. The series is from a bygone era on MTV, and fans are nostalgic about it.

Xzibit posted a picture on Instagram on Wednesday, which sparked excitement among fans. Fans immediately suspected that a reboot of Pimp My Ride is in the works. The post, which features a top-down view of a tricked-out muscle car, was accompanied by the caption, “It’s Time To Get Back To Customizing Cars.” The post also features a cryptic date, which might indicate when the news will be officially announced. Fans hope it is real and an announcement will be made next week.

Some were even so wild that they would seem impossible to drive. The show’s popularity and nostalgia come form the customizations but also Xzibit’s hosting capabilities. He was entertaining as a host and had some very memorable and hilarious moments. If it comes back, hopefully, X will be back as its host.

Rapper Xzibit was a well-known and accomplished rapper before the sereis, but it took his fame to a new level. With Xzibit and the program both so successful, viewers were taken aback when Pimp My Ride was canceled after just six seasons. X hasn’t always had a good relationship with the show’s creators, despite him hinting at the show’s comeback if there was any time to bring the show back, it’s now. Byron Allen Named In Racial Discrimination Lawsuit

Byron Allen is mentioned by name in media mogul Soo Kim’s racial discrimination case against the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). Kim said in a filing on Wednesday, April 24, that the FCC was sabotaging a $8.6 billion agreement to buy Tegna Inc. He asserted that he wasn’t the “correct type of minority” to achieve the diversity objectives of the FCC. Tenga is self-described as a media company that is leading the way in the digital era and using important investigations, uplifting stories, and creative marketing services to better our communities.

Kim feels like he doesn’t feel as important as an Asian businessman dealing with a black-owned business. The CEO also alleged that “the FCC killed the deal motivated by the belief that Mr. Allen’s Black-owned company deserved greater solicitude than [his] Asian American-owned company.” This is an accusation of racial discrimination and a toxic environment where race is prioritized. Byron Allen is a former comedian who turned into a Media mogul. He recently offered $14.3 billion to acquire Paramount Global. Allen is known for acquiring major, established companies to increase his portfolio.

Byron Allen is a big name in the case. Kim said in a statement, “I am suing the FCC because they need to be held accountable for racially discriminating against me. The disparate and unfair treatment in my case is undeniable and unnecessarily divisive. Every person appearing before the FCC deserves to be treated equitably.” The case certainly involves some messy business for Kim and everyone involved.

The FCC dropped its deal with Kim to buy Tenga in favor of Allen’s bid. Hence, there was an accusation that Kim was not the right kind of minority for the deal. “Race was a negative for Korean American Soo Kim, but it always seemed to work as a positive for Byron Allen,” the complaint alleges. The suit then calls Allen and his company “the right kind of diversity.” He asserts that racial preference is the reason the FCC decided against the deal. Byron Allen is named in the lawsuit, and there will surely be more updates as the case develops.

Beyonce and Blue Ivy In New Lion King Prequel Trailer

Beyoncé and her daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, will appear in the prequel story of the iconic Lion King. On Monday, April 29, the first teaser for Disney’s upcoming prequel to the 2019 blockbuster live-action Lion King was released. It offers a great look at Mufasa, Scar, and their home in the African Pride Lands. The trailer, of course, shows Beyonce reprising her role as Nala from the 2019 movie. Blue Ivy voices the daughter of King Simba and Queen Nala. Her character is named Kiara. Kiara was introduced in the sequel to the original animated Lion King 1998’s The Lion King II: Simba’s Pride.

Oscar-winner Barry Jenkins takes the helm of the prequel, promising to deliver a new entry into the Lion King cinematic universe. The 2019 live-action CGI adaptation of The Lion King was a global hit, grossing almost $1.7 Billion worldwide and becoming one of the year’s most successful movies. Furthermore, the success of the adaptation paved the way for more movies, and now we have a prequel that will unveil a story yet untold. All in all, Beyonce and Blue Ivy are a welcome pairing for fans.

Barry Jenkins told People about Beyonce and seeing her relationship with Blue Ivy, saying, “[Watching Beyoncé] both on the screen and behind the screen, get to be a mother – and how that affected and impacted for the better the work that we were all doing – was just really awesome.” Overall, It is certainly a cool feat for the mother-daughter duo. Mufasa: The Lion King hits theaters on December 20th.

Kevin Hart’s Defamation Case Against Tasha K Set To Move Forward

A California judge granted Kevin Hart’s defamation claim against YouTube entertainment industry blogger Tasha K, citing false accusations about Hart in a tell-all interview with Hart’s former personal assistant. Hart can now move forward with the defamation suit. During a hearing on Wednesday in Los Angeles, California Superior Court Judge Holly Fujie rejected a portion of Tasha K’s and her production company’s anti-SLAPP motion.

Miesha Shakes, Hart’s former assistant, stated in the December interview that the comedian was going to be charged in connection with a sex tape he recorded in Las Vegas in 2017. The interview was released on Tasha K’s website. Shortly after the interview went live, Kevin Hart filed the suit in December 2023. Hart had also claimed he was being extorted in the case, but that claim was thrown out by the judge. In the interview, Shakes also revealed that Hart had repeatedly cheated on his wife. Additionally, she claimed he had gotten at least one woman pregnant. She also claimed Hart allegedly had a gambling issue.

Tasha K. attempted to have the defamation action dismissed under anti-SLAPP statutes. The statues are meant to safeguard free expression. The court reportedly decided that Kevin Hart’s defamation claim had enough basis to move forward. The implication in the interview that Hart was being “charged” was sufficient enough evidence to allow the suit to be upheld. However, the decision is likely to be appealed by Tasha K, adding a layer of uncertainty to the case’s future.

“Shakes and Kebe’s use of the word ‘charges,’ in context and based on the common usage of the word, could lead a reasonable observer to conclude that Hart faced criminal prosecution,” Judge Fujie said at Wednesday’s hearing. “Defendants do not dispute that Hart never faced criminal charges in connection with the Las Vegas incident.” The defamation case will move forward. Tasha K was sued by Cardi B in 2019, so she isnt unschooled in being taken to court. Kevin Hart will look to keep his name clean and win a swift lawsuit.

Harvey Weinstein’s New York Rape Conviction Overturned With New Trial Ordered By Court

Harvey Weinstein’s 2020 conviction on felony sex offense charges was reversed by New York’s highest court on Thursday, and a new trial was ordered. That does not, however, imply that the film producer will be leaving prison any time soon. The New York Court of Appeals flipped Weinstein’s conviction, citing nonpertinent testimonies from women not involved with the current case. The argument in his New York case being dismissed is that information from other accusations ultimately rendered a guilty conviction. The court has ordered a new trial.

Weinstein will remain in prison for the time being. Weinstein has been serving a 23-year sentence in a New York prison following his conviction on charges of criminal sex acts against a film production assistant in 2006. Charges also included a charge of rape in the third degree for an alleged attack on an actress in 2013. Weinstein has always insisted on his innocence. He made a public apology for his decades of behavior in the industry but denied all charges against him.

The New York Court of Appeals said of the ruling this morning, “We conclude that the trial court erroneously admitted testimony of uncharged, alleged prior sexual acts against persons other than the complainants of the underlying crimes because that testimony served no material non-propensity purpose.” The courts have ordered a new trial to remedy the issue of the first. There is currently no proposed date for a new trial to begin. The New York District Attorney’s office is currently embattled with former U.S. President Donald Trump. All in all, it might take a while.

Weinstein was a respected movie producer behind films like Quentin Tarantino’s Pulp Fiction. Weinstein always had a less-than-positive reputation in Hollywood, with stories about abuses of power and authority over films being known. In 2022, Weinstein was found guilty in Los Angeles of a second rape and given a 16-year jail term. Additionally, on the West Coast, Weinstein was cleared of all charges stemming from one of the women who provided testimony during the 2020 New York trial. Overall, Weinstein is still in prison, and the status of a new New York trial is up in the air.

Haddish spoke of her sobriety, saying, “I’m very sober. I haven’t had a drink since [the incident]. When I sit back and look at my life, everything that’s crazy that’s happened is because somebody or myself had alcohol in their system.” She acknowledged the problem that had led her into difficult situations and completely cut it out. DC Young Fly has been dealing with a lot of tragedy in the past year. Recently, he said that he’s constantly thinking about his late girlfriend, Jacky O, with whom he shared three children. Jacky Oh passed away due to complications she experienced during surgery. It has been a hard event for fans and DC Young Fly to get over. Young Fly also had recently been grieving the loss of other family members, including his cousin Erica Robinson, in 2020. Through it all, DC Young Fly says he was putting all his energy into his faith and is adamant it will pull him through.

The comedian has recently been performing and trying out new material. Trying out new material on the road is what comedians do. They are able to see what works and what doesn’t, which helps refine their act. This did not go over very well for DC Young Fly. He was recently booed in Atlantic City, and the video has hit social media and has people talking. Young Fly has also responded to the incident.

The video was shared on social media by an interview show that supports protests against Israel’s actions in Gaza. Alec Baldwin can be seen getting increasingly irritated by the confrontation in the coffee shop. Alec Baldwin’s reaction and the confrontation have sparked quite a stir on social media.

Baldwin has recently pleaded not guilty to involuntary manslaughter after a grand jury indicted him for his involvement in the accidental death on the set of Rust. The cinematographer of his film Rust was accidentally shot by a pro-gun that was loaded with live ammunition. Baldwin has been on trial for his alleged involvement in the tragic story. The allegations and charges were initially withdrawn. But earlier this year, a grand jury decided to re-indict the renowned actor. An FBI report indicating that Baldwin’s gun could not have fired without the trigger being pressed is a significant piece of evidence that the motion opposes.

Baldwin refused the protestor’s demands to say “free Palestine” and asked the coffee shop employees to call the police. Baldwin then opened and held the door for the protestors and gestured for them to leave the establishment. The protestor continued her contraction of the famous actor, and Baldwin continued to gesture for them to leave. Baldwin asked the protestor, “Can you do me one quick favor?” then smacking her phone out of her hand. The protestor repeatedly asked, “Free Palestine, Alec, just one time, and I’ll leave you alone. I’ll leave you alone, I swear, just say free Palestine one time.” The protestor also brought up Baldwin’s current legal troubles, being charged with manslaughter.

Baldwin has had run-ins with pro-Palestine protestors before, which is probably why he was confronted in the coffee shop. In December, Baldwin did the confronting as he angrily went up to protesters in Manhattan, telling them to “shut the f— up.” Baldwin was then escorted away by the police at the rally. As Baldwin was led away by police, the crowds started asking him about the Rust shooting, mocking the actor’s involvement. Overall, Baldwin is involved in another negative situation.
