Trippie Redd Unleashes “Mansion Musik” Executive Produced By Chief Keef

Trippie Redd returned with a new body of work executive produced by Chief Keef.

The rapper returned with Mansion Musik this morning, a 25-song body of work that pays tribute to Keef’s 2018 project. The lengthy tracklist is packed with high-profile features. Chief Keef appears on the tracklist, along with artists like Future, Lil Durk, Lil Baby, and more.

Mansion Musik boasts a new collaboration with Travis Scott, which Trippie described as a sequel to their 2018 collab, “Dark Knight Dummo.” Additionally, Juice WRLD makes a posthumous appearance on “KNIGHT CRAWLER.”

Trippie’s new body of work follows the release of 2021’s Trip At Knight, featuring hits like “Miss The Rage” ft. Playboi Carti and the Drake-assisted, “Betrayal.”

While Trippie blessed fans with mansion Musik this morning, the rapper has even more music in store. Last year, he teased the fifth installment in the Love Letter To You series. However, there haven’t been any recent updates surrounding the status of the project.

Love Letter to You 5 is gonna be, if not the best body of music I’ve ever did, one of them. For sure,” he said. “This is the last one. This the last A Love Letter to You so…I done put my all into it. I’ve been working on this for like, three to four years. Dropping projects, but still having music tucked to the side for this project.”

Ice Spice Releases “Like…?” EP

No matter your opinion of her, Ice Spice’s only getting started. Following an incredible breakout year, the Bronx rapper emerged this week with the release of her debut EP, Like…?. The six-song effort includes previously released singles such as “Bikini Bottom,” “In Ha Mood,” and her 2022 breakout hit, “Munch (Feelin U).”

Released through 10K Projects/Capitol Records, Spice capitalizes on her ability to craft infectious hits and quotable bars. Being that she is the Bronx Baddie, she emphasizes her homegrown vernacular in songs like “Actin A Smoochie,” just like she did “Munch.”

However, it also showcases her versatility, as well. During a recent interview with New York Times, the Bronx rapper explained how she aspired to reach beyond Internet fandom and memes.

“For me personally, I think I have passed that,” she said. “I do want to be a mainstream artist. I want diamond records and plaques and Grammys. So I think in order to get that, you do have to surpass just one subgenre.”

With RIOTUSA handling the production, Ice Spice drops three unreleased records on the project, such as the highly-anticipated collab with Lil Tjay, “Gangsta Boo.” Unlike her other hits, the collaboration with Lil Tjay locks into the sample-drill sound with an interpolation of Diddy’s “I Need A Girl Part 2.” The two intended to shoot a video for the single this week but Tjay ended up arrested and Spice filmed a visual for “In Ha Mood” instead.

Above all, Ice Spice combats the criticism and continues to feed her hungry fanbase with even more hit records. Check out Ice Spice’s new project, Like..? below and sound off with your thoughts in the comments.

  2. Princess Diana

Vedo Goes Through “Mood Swings” On New Album

Michigan-born singer Vedo graced fans with Mood Swings, his latest solo album since 2021’s 1320. On it, the R&B star toys with varying styles in the genre, from classic sultry slow-burns to brighter trap-influenced tunes. Overall, it makes a concise and varied collection of tracks that don’t overstay their welcome.

While Vedo garnered his fame among other stars on The Voice, this album doesn’t need much outside assistance. Moreover, there are only two features listed: rapper-singer Tink and superstar Chris Brown. Him and Vedo released their track “Do You Mind” just last week as a single.

Furthermore, that track is one of the more upbeat and breezy moments on the album. Also, it’s playfully lustful and provides a nice contrast to the project’s more melancholy cuts like “FOREVER.” Some standout lines from the song are “I like what I like, I’m not the type that’s gon’ be stalkin’ you. Oh, I know I’m a player but I’ll wait up, shoot my shot and then I follow through. You so good, I wanna give my heart to you. Put that ass in park and send a car to you.”

That being said, the former Voice contestant also throws it back to more old-school styles of R&B. For example, there’s the opener “Waterfalls,” with its wailing guitars, lumbering tempo, and cavernous drums. Moreover, there’s a nice variety of snap beats, trap percussion, and live instrumentation to make each track feel part of a larger whole. However, Vedo’s vocal range and melodic tendencies are always at its core.

Still, what did you think of Vedo’s new album, Mood Swings? Whatever the case, let us know in the comments and peep the tracklist down below. Also, if you haven’t listened to the album yet, you can find it on your preferred streaming service. As always, stay up to date with HNHH for the best new releases in R&B.

The Other Guys Produce Skyzoo’s “The Mind Of A Saint” Album: Stream

We’ve had plenty of new and exciting singles for you to stream this weekend. Mixtapes, however, have been few and far between. Perhaps the most noteworthy arrival came via 21 Lil Harold, who previously dropped off After The Curse on Friday (January 13). Aside from that, Skyzoo’s The Mind Of A Saint also caught our ear.

Across 10 tracks, the Brooklyn native chiefly puts himself into the world of FX’s Snowfall. Specifically through the eyes of Franklin Saint (played by Damson Idris), the rapper chronicles the human condition.

“When making this album, I wanted to do something that creatively pushed a button,” he said in a press release. “Something that served a purpose, while trying to understand both sides of the fence that it represents.  The idea of a fictional character, Franklin Saint, and what his innermost thoughts could be when dealing with the worlds he’s caught in between.”

Snowfall is currently preparing for its sixth and final season, proving that it’s amassed no shortage of fans across what’s been nothing short of an impressive run so far.

Skyzoo adds, “What makes it so intriguing is that his character and his world are mirrors of a time and era that really happened.  The birth of one of the world’s most addictive drugs and how its ripple effect took on a life that may seemingly never die.”

“The crack era was one of the worst chapters in black America’s story.  Using the ‘Snowfall’ series as a vehicle to delve into both sides was truly fascinating as an emcee.  It’s a project that is layered beyond measure.  If you’ve never seen [the show], you’ll walk away thinking this is a really great album. If you’re an avid fan, you’ll truly feel as if Franklin, the conflicted boy genius turned millionaire and career criminal truly did pick up a pen and pad to write his life story over a bed of beats.”

According to the New Yorker, this is one of his most intense projects to date. Thankfully, he had the help of The Other Guys’ incredible production to further push his story along.

21 Lil Harold Unleashes “After The Curse” Ft. 21 Savage, G Herbo & More

It’s officially 21 season.

Over the past few months, 21 Lil Harold’s geared up for the release of a brand new project. Today, he unveiled After The Curse in its entirety. The Atlanta rapper’s latest body of work is a strong introduction for those who aren’t familiar. For those that are, it’s a welcomed body of work that showcases his growth and maturity as an artist.

After The Curse boasts 12 songs in total with a handful of collaborators specifically chosen for the tracklist. Of course, the Slaughter Gang head honcho 21 Savage makes an appearance — his first guest feature of the new year. The “Rich Flex” rapper joins Lil Harold on “Ain’t On None.” G Herbo also appears on the tracklist for the previously released single, “Damn.” Young Nudy helps Lil Harold kick off the project on “My Real Dawgs,” while Nardo Wick joins forces with the “Out Of Time” rapper on “Give No Fcks.”

Though 21 Lil Harold’s been associated with Savage and the crew for nearly five years, After The Curse cements Harold as a force in his own right. Following a string of releases over the years, his latest project cements his name as one to look out for this year.

Prior to After The Curse, 21 Lil Harold released his project, LARRY in 2021. The album boasted 12 songs in total, which he later expanded with an additional three on the deluxe. LARRY included appearances from Latto, G Herbo, Slimelife Shawty, and Offset.

03 Greedo Drops Surprise “Free 03” Mixtape

Without warning, 03 Greedo just blessed fans with a brand new mixtape this week, titled, Free 03.

The Wolf Of Grape Street rapper’s latest body of work marks his first since 2020’s Load It Up, Vol 1. Free 03 boasts 15 songs in total, produced entirely by Mike Free. The latest from Greedo finds him working alongside the late Drakeo The Ruler, BlueBucksClan, OhGeesy, and KenTheMan.

Though it’s been three years since his last body of work, Greedo’s remained prolific in his output throughout his incarceration. In 2022, he also blessed fans with singles like “Drop Down” ft. KenTheMan and “Pourin’” ft. BlueBucksClan — both appear on Free 03.

Though the California rapper remains incarcerated on drug charges, it seems like things might actually be looking up in his case. The Texas Department of Criminal Justice revealed that 03 will be released on parole this week. Meanwhile, journalist Jeff Weiss, who has closely followed Greedo’s case, confirmed the news on Twitter.

“Out of respect for Greedo’s right to break the news however he wants to break it, I can’t officially confirm anything,” he wrote. “But this Texas parole info is accurate. 03 should be coming home at some point this week. A 5-year nightmare finally coming to an end.”

Following a spur of releases, a judge sentenced Greedo to 20 years in prison in 2018 after striking a deal for guns and drugs charges in Texas. At this time, Greedo was at the height of his career with collaborations alongside Lil Uzi Vert, and more.

We’ll keep you posted on anymore updates surrounding Greedo’s release. Check out Free 03 below and sound off with your thoughts in the comments.

Juelz Santana Teases Song With Joyner Lucas Off Forthcoming Gangsta Grillz Mixtape

Juelz Santana is gearing up to drop his highly-anticipated Gangsta Grillz mixtape, We In Motion, sometime later this year.

In order to promote the project, the Harlem native took to his Instagram account on Thursday (January 5) to hype it up. Playing a snippet of what’s assumedly the beat for a collaborative track with Joyner Lucas, he doesn’t hold back in sharing his excitement.

“Santana and Joyner Lucas. I’m not even gon’ say no other names. O.M.G. We In Motion on the f*cking way,” he exclaims as the drill beat plays in the background. Considering he’s not mentioning the names of any other artists, it will certainly be interesting to see who else will be featuring on the tape.

The Dipset rapper announced the new mixtape in an Instagram post on Christmas Day. It’s set to serve as his first full-length offering following his release from prison in August of 2020. The Harlem native was behind bars for a year and a half on gun charges.

It’s been nearly three years since we last got a full-length project from the 40-year-old. 2020’s #FREESANTANA boasts features from the likes of 2 Chainz, Lil Wayne, Jim Jones and more. It dropped while he was still serving his time in prison.

Furthermore, DJ Drama has certainly been busy lately. Last year alone, he hosted several projects, including Icewear Vezzo‘s latest offering, Paint the City and Jeezy‘s SNOFALL. Most recently though, he handles hosting duties on French Montana and his crew’s sixth instalment of their Coke Boys series.

Are you hyped for We In Motion to drop? Comment your thoughts on Juelz Santana seemingly getting ready to rap over a drill beat. Finally, make sure to stay tuned to HNHH for all of the latest music updates and releases.
