Saweetie Performs “Best Friend” At Philipp Plein’s Fashion Show In Milan

Saweetie performed at Philipp Plein’s show during Milan Fashion Week on Saturday, taking over the stage to perform her 2021 hit with Doja Cat, “Best Friend.” For the event, Saweetie rocked a black bikini and a floor-length black coat accented by bright green nails.

“Fashion is a serious business, but the clothes have to be fun,” Philipp Plein said as noted by WWD, before taking a bow on stage with Saweetie. She wasn’t the only artist to perform during the show. Quavo also kicked the night off while rocking a silver jacket and leather flares.

When The Jasmine Brand shared clips of Saweetie’s performance on Instagram, not all fans were impressed. One wrote: “She gets worse with her rapping. They would have done better just letting her walk in the show. Looks and body can only take you so far in music.” Plenty of others took issue with the amount of hate being spread in the comments. “Say what y’all want but somebody somewhere LOVES Saweetie cause sis is always BOOKEDT!,” one commented. Saweetie’s trip to Milan comes as she prepares to kick off the Str8 To The Klub Tour alongside her rumored boyfriend, YG, and Tyga. The trio was supposed to begin with a performance in Sacramento at Golden 1 Center on Sept. 21 but they recently canceled the show. Bad Bunny & Kendall Jenner Sit Front Row At Gucci S/S 2024 With Anna Wintour

New York and London have both successfully wrapped up their Fashion Weeks for another season. Now, it’s Milan’s turn to enjoy the spotlight as our favourite stars flock to Italy to catch what will be trending during S/S 2024. Among those making headlines overseas ahead of the weekend include Halle Bailey and DDG, namely due to pregnancy rumours surrounding the former. They hit up the Gucci runway together, where Bad Bunny was also out with his boo, Kendall Jenner.

The latter couple made their front row debut while sitting with Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour on Friday (September 22). When they first started spending time together in February, some speculated that the rapper and model were nothing more than a PR relationship. However, they’ve since proven that they have great chemistry and similar interests which have allowed them to bond, even with a language barrier. As PEOPLE notes, the Gucci presentation marked the first collection from Creative Director Sabato De Sarno, and he certainly made an impression on his audience.

Channelling the Italian house’s effortlessly chic vibes, the “K-POP” artist wore an oversized white button-up shirt, his collar dramatically popped above his shoulders. He accessorized with a beige beanie, rectangular black shades, and gold hoop earrings. Classic blue jeans and black dress shoes made up the bottom half of his look. Jenner proved that she’s practically an expert on Italian style at this point in her career, covering up her famous figure in a trench coat. The couple didn’t go over the top by wearing identical ensembles and instead opted to compliment each other by coordinating colours and silhouettes.

He’s been spotted doing plenty of smooching with Kendall Jenner throughout the summer, but that’s not the only kiss of Bad Bunny’s that was caught on camera recently. DDG Gets Mistaken For Lil Baby While In Milan

He was flexing with his Little Mermaid girlfriend for Milan Fashion Week, but not everyone was familiar with DDG. The rapper is enjoying the lull away from viral mania after trending due to his interactions with ex-girlfriend Rubi Rose. It unraveled in real-time on social media, even prompting DDG’s current leading lady, Halle Bailey, to step in with a tweet to keep the peace. That didn’t do much good, however, because DDG insisted on getting the last word against Rose. So, he wrote and released a song about her.

As people took to the internet to troll DDG, he and Bailey were posing on the streets of Italy. A group of women stopped to take photos of the rapper and kept saying the word “baby” while attempting to communicate in another language. The barrier was evident as DDG and Halle tried to understand what was being said. Then, they realized one of the women was asking if the rapper was Lil Baby.

DDG Has Fun With Lil Baby’s Fans

The interaction was only a tad awkward, but Halle got a kick out of seeing the exchange. When the woman asked if DDG was Lil Baby, he simply replied, “Yup.” The group went on their way, amazed that they saw the My Turn star, except they didn’t. No word on if they know they’ve gone viral. Despite being called the wrong person, DDG seems happy to escape the social media storm he helped create within the last few weeks.

If you missed it, Rubi Rose ignited a war of words after suggesting that DDG gave Halle her old clothes. He fiercely denied the allegations, and the pair seemed to indirectly beef for a brief time. Then, Rubi shared screenshots of alleged DMs between her and her ex, but he responded quickly.

Being apart from your partner is hard, but luckily, the lovers were able to cross a major relationship milestone together recently – their red carpet debut. At the premiere of the actor’s Snowfall series’ sixth season, he was joined by the model, who looked as radiant as ever.

Social media users couldn’t dispute the hair’s obvious good looks. What they did argue, however, was the chemistry between the pair, which some say is seemingly non-existence. Damson Tears Up Trinidad’s Carnival

For his part, Idris took a trip to the islands of Trinidad and Tobago this February to celebrate the nation’s famous Carnival. The English star clearly enjoyed his vacation and partying, as he chiefly declared on Instagram that he wants to buy a home there ASAP.

“I need a Trini real talk, ’bout to buy a crib here,” he told his followers. “Even the air taste good,” Idris noted, after markedly praising Trinidad’s delicious food and drinks. His only problems, it seems, are the mosquitos who “treat [him] like Popeyes,” and the lack of his girlfriend’s presence.

Lori Takes Milan Fashion Week

On the other side of the world, Harvey spent this past weekend in Milan, Italy. Like many others, she was invited to show support at a designer runway. Creative Director Rhuigi Villaseñor requested the Memphis native’s presence at his presentation, where she sat in the front row alongside a slew of celebrities. DDG was present (following his appearance at Gucci’s F/W ’23 collection with Halle Bailey), as was TikTok sensation Dixie D’Amelio.

While he couldn’t join her on the trip, Idris made sure to keep his girl smiling with a romantic delivery during her travels. On her IG Story, Harvey posted a huge collection of red roses, as well as a note reading, “I love and miss you.” In barely visible text near the bottom, she wrote, “My man, my man, my mannn,” tagging her beau to show him some love. What really has fans talking is the rapper’s shoes – a pair of $460 frog clogs designed by JW Anderson. As DailyMail notes, the footwear almost resembles something a child would wear. Thanks to Rocky’s impressive confidence and styling skills, he was able to pull them off. Now, it’s Kim Kardashian’s turn to break the internet with the various looks she put together for her time in Italy.

The 42-year-old took a trip overseas earlier this week. She’s travelling so far to support Dolce & Gabbana, who requested that she walk in their last fashion show. Back in September, Kardashian was happy to oblige. She sported a high platinum up-do and sauntered down the catwalk in a tight black dress.

She stopped by D&G, of course, showing some skin in a cream-coloured set from the brand. Her cropped jacket had several buckles across the front of it. The entirety of her skirt was made of layered belts in the same colour. On her feet, Kardashian wore knee-high boots that perfectly bring the outfit together.

It remains unclear if she made any purchases while browsing the store. Still, paparazzi photos prove that all eyes were on her. Aside from her stellar style, many have also been taking note of the California native’s face and hair. Some think they appear to have undergone a few changes. In a recent series of posts promoting her latest SKIMS collection, Kardashian was compared to everyone from Monica Bellucci to Megan Fox.

Fashion Week Faux Pas

For the Dolce & Gabbana runway, The Kardashians starlet turned up the heat a bit, stepping out in another two-piece set from the brand. Rather than a mini skirt, this one reached her ankles and was covered in bright red jewels. Her upper half was left mostly bare, save for the matching bra top on her chest and two large cross necklaces.

In her hand, the aspiring lawyer carried a tiny purse. The bag was certainly not big enough to carry her phone (or much else). Fashion month is quickly coming to a close, but that doesn’t mean the stars are done serving looks quite yet. From New York to London, we’ve seen several of our favourite recording artists and entertainers sitting in the front row during runways. Of course, fashion week wouldn’t feel right without acknowledging a few serves from the style icons themselves, Rihanna and A$AP Rocky.

The expecting parents didn’t attend any of the clothing presentations earlier this month. This is likely due to the Bad Gal’s hectic schedule ahead of the Super Bowl. After taking some time to recover from her legendary Halftime show, she and her beau took a trip to Milan. Their 9-month-old son came along for the journey. Cameras caught them stepping out in style all around the beautiful Italian city.

Milan Date Night with Mamihanna

On Friday (February 25), Rihanna dressed to the nines for an evening on the town with Rocky. It remains unclear where they wound up spending the night, but the 35-year-old certainly looked glamorous. Her skin tone was perfectly complimented by the high-slit silk orange dress. She wore it under an oversized bomber jacket hanging off her shoulders. Were it not for her flashy silver heels and matching accessories, the outfit would likely appear far more casual.

The “F*ckin’ Problems” rapper channelled a slightly different vibe than his date, donning light wash jeans in a unique silhouette. The soon-to-be father of two kept warm under a leather jacket, also seemingly layering with a plain white t-shirt. Julia Fox’s Leather Lingerie Makes A Statement At Milan Fashion Week

The one person we can always count on to make a bold outfit statement – whether it’s fashion week or not – is Julia Fox. The mother of one is presently in her hometown of Milan, Italy for the ongoing style celebrations, and she certainly isn’t coming quietly. On Saturday (February 25), she donned a daring all-black ensemble that, while certainly kept her warm from any cool breezes, still showed off her flat mid-section and curvy thighs.

Of course, this isn’t the only unique look we’ve seen the Uncut Gems starlet in this month. While attending New York Fashion Week she carried a chilling six-foot body bag as a purse, bringing no shortage of attention her way. Prior to that, she walked in Alexander Wang’s runway and attempted to defend herself from the backlash she received as a result of supporting the controversial designer.

The 33-year-old looked nothing short of animalistic in her latest statement ‘fit. Beneath a calf-length black fur coat, she paid tribute to her former dominatrix days in some ultra-sexy thigh-high leather boots and a matching thong. Her chest hides behind a crop top which left most of her perfectly flat stomach on display.

Fox’s accessories included a black and silver circular-shaped purse, as well as a pair of futuristic, blue-tinted glasses. On her hands, she wore giant claws that seem to resemble some sort of creature. The more fashion-forward fans of the actress feel the inspiration in her bold choices. The critics, however, are making it known they can’t get behind her out-of-the-box style quite yet.

Fur Coat Frenzy

As you may have seen in the news this weekend, Fox isn’t the only one to step out in a stunning fur coat lately. Rihanna also did earlier this month, while grabbing dinner at her favourite restaurant in Santa Monica. Unfortunately for her, PETA isn’t taking so kindly to the Bad Gal wearing animals and didn’t hesitate to send her a letter requesting that she switch to a cruelty-free alternative.

To make her transition easier, the organization has offered to send the new mother a faux fur coat from an ethical brand. Additionally, they’re hoping to take Rihanna’s collection of coats and other garments off her hands and deliver them to victims of the natural disasters in Turkey and Syria who have been left with nothing. Following the birth of her son last May, many Rihanna fans expected the 35-year-old to take some time out of the spotlight to adjust to such a major life change before making a major comeback. Their predictions weren’t exactly inaccurate, though many thought that she’d be announcing the arrival of her next album before revealing another pregnancy. During her Super Bowl Halftime performance earlier this month, the singer proudly put her budding bump on display, sharing the exciting news without actually saying a word.

Her first time carrying a child saw Rihanna boldly experimenting with her style. Many of her outfits were very revealing, giving the Fenty Beauty founder a chance to hone her confidence while waiting for her firstborn. This time around she’s been a bit more conservative as far as showing skin, though we can’t deny that her “Fashion Killa” status is still intact.

PETA Puts Pressure on Rihanna

After taking some time to recover from the intense preparation that went into her return to the stage, one of the first looks we saw the Barbadian-born beauty rock was baggy jeans, a graphic tee (featuring her bump peaking out the tiniest bit), and a long fur coat. Her vibe is effortlessly “cool girl,” and while many fans think she looks fabulous, PETA is calling Rihanna out for allegedly wearing real fur. According to TMZ, senior vice president Lisa Lange wrote a letter to her team expressing concerns over her outfit.

“As a mother, you know what it’s like to feel protective and to want to make sure no harm comes to your family,” she wrote to the lingerie designer. “Please understand that this desire – this instinct even – is shared by the minks, foxes, and rabbits who are torn away from their families and killed for their fur.” The animal rights organization then asks Rihanna to consider making a pledge to stop wearing fur upon reading the letter.

Additionally, they offered to take any animal items out of her closet and donate them to those struggling in Syria and Turkey due to the recent earthquakes. Seeing as they’re requesting the Bad Gal give up a seriously stylish piece, PETA is also helping to relieve her burden by sending over a faux fur coat from Unreal Fur in an effort to make the cruelty-free switch easier on her. It’s worth noting that Rihanna has been wearing real fur for years, though she previously won an award for creating faux leather products at Fenty.

RiRi & Rocky’s Fashion Week Fits

Clearly, the “Desperado” singer isn’t letting PETA’s request bother her too much. Rather, she’s embracing the finer things in life overseas at Milan Fashion Week with her beau A$AP Rocky. Paparazzi snapped photos of the couple arriving in the country earlier this week, RiRi happily carrying her baby boy in her arms after deplaning. The Testing rapper was one of the many celebrities in attendance at the Gucci show, and following that, he and his partner stepped out for date night in Italy.

Rihanna opted to wear various shades of orange for their night on the town, including a sleek silk dress with a flirty leg slit and a darker-coloured bomber to keep her and her bump warm. Rocky donned jeans with a unique silhouette, a white tee, and a black leather jacket. For several weeks now, celebrities and fashion lovers alike have been flocking to various cities all over the world to catch the countless designer runway shows taking place this season. We’ve already seen the stars take over cities like New York, Paris, and London. Now, things are unfolding in beautiful Milan, where the Gucci F/W 2023/24 collection made its debut earlier today (February 24).

The fashion show was the first designed by creative director Sabato De Sarno, who took over at the Italian house last September. The collection included several bold sheer moments, as well as dramatic fur coats, sleep businesswear, and pops of bold colour. Though he’s across the world taking in stunning designs this week, the Michigan native still made time to put out some art of his own. It specifically denies her claims that Bailey was wearing her old shirt, and also includes plenty of disses for his ex.

As he continues to put his relationship problems on blast, fans of the R&B starlet are encouraging her to walk away from DDG. Despite the world’s pleas, Bailey proved that she and the 25-year-old are still very much together during today’s Gucci runway. Looking as stunning as ever in a light pink strappy dress, the Atlanta native sat beside DDG in the venue’s front row.
